Play the under on Monday night when the Capitals and Rangers meet. The first two games ended 1-0 and 3-1 to stay under. None of the last 11 meetings have gone to six goals but we have had some pushes.
Washington had 21 overs and 26 unders in the regular season while the Rangers had 16 overs with 24 unders. Both Henrik Lundqvist and Brandon Holtby are good goalies.
The Pittburgh/NYI series is getting totals set at 5.5 while the others are getting 5 (LA total was at 4.5 in their last game). It doesn't leave much room for error as we could see a 2-1 late game get a goal and be 2-2 and push since it has to end 3-2.
I think we see a 2-1 or 3-1 final score on Monday.

CC Sabathia starts for New York and has an ERA of 4.30 in his last 3 starts, allowing 6 home runs in that span. The last six Yankee home games have produced 9, 11, 10, 5, 9 and 10 runs.

Take Sac +6.5.
This could be the last game for the Kings in Sacramento and they will play hard for their fans. The Kings beat LA back on March 19 by 116-101. Their should be extra motivation as both are located in California.
Tyreke Evans will be out but they do have some talent in John Salmons, Marcus Thornton, Patrick Patterson, Toney Douglas and Jimmer Fredette.
LA does have Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and Chauncey Billups. Denver is playing Phoenix earlier in the night and should win easily and make the Clippers less motivated.
LAC are just 2-5-1 ATS in their last 6 in Sacramento. Sac is 20-20 at home but a putrid 8-33 on the road while LA is 32-9 at home but an average 23-17 on the road.

Take the home team tonight as the Athletics are a hot team and have beaten Houston by 2 or more runs in all four games this season. Oakland jumped ahead 6-0 last night and coasted to a 11-2 win. Griffin starts for the A's tonight and he has pitched well in the majors this year after a successful minor league season in 2012.
My prediction is that Oakland wins 5-2.

The Blackhawks last four have reached 5, 1, 8 and 1 goal whike the Blues have scored 5, 2, 1, 1 and 4 goals combined with their opponent.

Drury vs. Metro State 4pm EDT Sunday Division II Title under 156
These two meet for the Division II national title on Sunday in Atlanta, in Phillips Arena, where the Final Four will take place on Saturday/Monday. The game has usually been played at Springfield, Mass. Both teams played high scoring games in the semifinals but now there will be added pressure going for the title and playing in a big arena on national TV.
The Division 2 title scores have seen 12 of the last 13 stay under 156 points. Last year's game with Western Washington involved only reached 137 points. Metro games average 79-63 (142) as they have 5 scorers in the 11 to 14.7 range and the others are at 2.6 or less.
Drury beat high scoring W Wash 107-97 in the semis and the game before that was 159 points but their two games with Bellarnine made it to 128 and 131. Their average score was 81-64 (145 points). They are led by Alex Hall at 20 ppg and Lockhart at 12.5 ppg. Two others average 10 per game.
We could see plenty of points but 156 is a high total for a title game. Metro beat the highest scoring team (West Liberty) in the country 83-76 (159) and their totals before that were 143, 148, 126, 141, 121 and 157.
I won't be shocked to see an over but like our chances for under 156 on Sunday. I believe CBS will carry this game. GL!

They are shooting 55% from the field and are 6-1 ATS in the postseason and winning their NCAA tournament games by 21.8 ppg. They are led by Russ Smith and Peyton Siva on offense and defense. Luke Hancock and Dieng have played well too.
Wichita State has a good team and coached by Greg Marshall. They were able to make key shots against Ohio State as Baker and Van Vleet made big shots. WSU made 75% from the line as well.

Miami won the ACC regular season and tournament. They are well coached by Jim Larranaga, who was with George Mason. They are led by Shane Larkin, Kenny Kadji and Durand Scott. They are led by seniors except for Larkin, whose dad is Hall Of Fame baseball player Barry Larkin.
Miami will be without Reggie Johnson, who had a down year due to injuries and being overweight. It is no shock that he injured his knee and I think this will lead to another team cutting down the nets and not the Hurricanes. Miami may win but take Marquette +5.5.

They have four players who score between 11 and 12 points and have a player named Lucky Jones, who puts in 11 a game. The Colonels are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games while the Friars are just 7-16 ATS on Mondays.
Providence is an average Big East team that has won by an average of 67-64 this year with recent home wins by 9, 10, 3, 17 and 4 points.
I think we see a game where the underdog stays within 5 to 7 points and covers.

I think we see Duke play well on Sunday. The Blue Devils lost to Maryland in the ACC last week and were average against Albany on Friday as they failed to cover. Doug McDermott and Grant Gibbs lost to UNC last year and I expect Plumlee, Curry, Ryan Kelly and Quin Cook to play well enough for Duke to win by 8. Duke will need to make 3's and get Curry going as they are not deep and Kelly scored 36 in his return but struggled in other games.

UNC's last few games have sailed over this total. Last week's game with Miami went over 160 and the Villanova game was 149 points. Last years game with Kansas was 47-47 at the half and slowed down in the second but still went over and that was with Stilman White at PG.
Kansas' games with 3-point shooting Iowa State ended with 161 and 180 (before OT). UNC does have Bullock and Hairston to shoot 3's and McAdoo to score inside. If UNC is down, they will foul and put the Jayhawks on the line.
Jeff Withey is a key shot blocker for the favorite and McLemore and Young can score too.

Oregon vs. Saint Louis 7:10pm 10* (#528) Saint Louis -3.5
Saint Louis has been impressive. Their only blemish in the last 10 games was an overtime game with Xavier. They average winning 68.5 to 57 ppg and even beat VCU by over 20 points this year. They are led by Mitchell and Jordair Jett, they play solid defense and allow just 38.5 % FG shooting. They are 21-6 ATS in the last 27 games. Wow!
Oregon is led by Kyle Singler's brother E.J. They won their first round game as the Pac 10 did well in that round, except for UCLA. They are just 5-11-1 ATS in their last 17 and lost to Colorado by 23 and Utah by 10.
Look for Saint Louis to win by 6 or more and cover.

Rider at ECU #537/538 5pm eastern 10* under 143.5
I think we see an under on Saturday. ECU has seen their share of overs this year with 15 overs and 4 unders in the last 19 while Rider has 4 overs and 17 unders this year. ECU games average 148 points while Riders are 127.
ECU is coached by former UNC player Jeff Lebo and they have slid players like Miguel Paul, Ty Armstrong and Maurice Kemp. ECU can score inside and make 3's.
Rider will need to slow it down and stay within striking distance as many games have been played at a snail's pace.
I think we see under 143.5 in this NIT game being played at Greenville, NC at 5pm eastern.

Prediction: 3-2 so take under 5.5

9:45pm Friday 10* Notre Dame -1 (#838)
Take Notre Dame as they played some solid teams in the Big east like Louisville. Two of their last four games were losses to the Cardinals but they did win a five OT game at home vs. them. Led by Jack Cooley 14 ppg and 11 rb's as well as Grant at 13.5 ppg and Knight 11.5 ppg the Irish are well coached by Mike Brey, who was an assistant at Duke under Coach K.
Iowa State is coached by former player Fred Hoiberg and they love to shoot (and make 3's). They just lost to Kansas and they also played Baylor and Oklahoma well. Led by Ejim, Babb and Lucious the Cyclones can score as they have 20 overs in the last 25 games but Notre Dame will try to keep the score low and we saw 6 overs with 11 unders on Thursday.
I think we see Notre Dame win a close one and cover.

UNC vs. Villanova 7:40pm Friday 10* (#842) UNC -4
Take UNC as they will be playing in Kansas City and Roy Williams should get some love from the Kansas fans that will be there to follow their team. Roy used to coach at Kansas.
Roy's teams are 21-0 SU in the first round of the NCAA Tournament and are favored by 4 points. UNC does have a freshman point guard (Marcus Paige) but he has progressed nicely and the team led the nation with 18.4 assists per game.
McAdoo, PJ Hairston and Reggie Bullock lead an unselfish Tar Heel team and senior Dexter Strickland can score as well.
Villanova is led by Jay Wright and is lucky to get to be a #9 seed as they lost to last place in the Ivy League Columbia at home. They are 1-10- ATS on Fridays but are 16-7 ATS in their last 23.
I think we see UNC win by 7 and cover the small number on Friday night.

Take the underdog Pacific team at +12.5 as their coach will be retiring after the season and the team should show up and play well. Miami did play down to the competiton and is not real deep. Kenny Kadji can step up and play well but likes to play outside like he's Ralph Sampson. Durand Scott and Shane Larkin could be the best guard combo in college.
I think we see Miami win by 8 to 10 points so take Pacific +12.5 on Friday.

Take South Dakota State +11 as they are a solid team led by Nate Wolters at 22.5 ppg and plenty of leadership from the senior. They played Baylor last year and lost by just 8 points. SDSU does have several other key players with experience.
Michigan started hot but lost some games in the tough Big Ten and are led by Trey Burke, Tim Hardaway and Glen Robinson. The game will be played in Auburn Hills, Michigan and that will surely favor the Wolverines but I think the underdog can stay within 7 to 10 points and cover the big number.

Take the over as LIU can score and give up points. They played a game with UNC two years ago that ended with 189 points and 156 with Michigan State last year in the NCAA tourney. They have scorers like Olaswere at 18 ppg and Boyd is also at 18 ppg. Garun is at 16. Their last few scores have been 161, 176, 173, 186, 138 with Sacred Heart, 186, 154, 159, 146, 158 points.
JMU is an average team with upperclassmen. They did play a 100-70 game with UCLA to open the year, 146 with Richmond (before OT), 158 with UNCG, 151 with W&M, 143 with Delaware and 145 with Towson. Last year they played a 152 point game at Detroit and 175 with Lasalle and 155 with Rider out of conference.
JMU is led by Reshawn Goins 12.7 ppg, Davis 12 ppg and PG Devon Moore at 11.5 ppg and 5 assists/game.
JMU will try to slow it down and LIU is speed it up. There have been some ugly low scoring games this year and this could be another one but I like our chances for an OVER.

UNC vs. Miami 1pm EST Sunday pick: Miami -2.5 The game will be played in Greensboro, NC. The Tar Heels will have the fan advantage as their followers will buy up extra tickets. UNC has played with a smaller lineup by adding sophomore PJ Hairston into the lineup. It has hurt the rebounding some as you could see with Maryland getting some offensive rebounds. UNC uses just one senior (Strickland) and is much younger than Miami. UNC struggled against Duke at home last week as the Blue Devils played solid defense. UNC has a freshman PG (Marcus Paige) who will go up against first team all-ACC Shane Larkin. Miami has forward Kenny Kadji, who can score inside against McAdoo, who has had some foul trouble in the tourney. Durand Scott was the Defensive POY in the ACC. Their guards can make FT's, 3's and play defense. Miami also has Trey McKinney-Jones and Julian Gamble, who are role players as well as Rion Brown. They are not a deep team. They also have Reggie Johnson, who was injured part of the year but is from the state of North Carolina and would love to provide a few points on Sunday. He was key to a win at Duke last year. UNC will need Hairston and Reggie Bullock to provide some 3's. Miami won at home by 87-61 and won at Chapel Hill by 68-59. That's a win by 26 and another by 9. I am sure UNC will remember that bad loss and look for revenge. They lost badly at FSU last year in the regular season and still managed to lose to the Seminoles in the ACC Tournament. UNC has won 17 ACC Tournament Titles while Miami has struggled to even make the championship game. Jim Larranaga coached George Mason to a 2006 win over UNC in Dayton (NCAA Tournament) and would love to win on Sunday.
Unless Paige plays very well at PG and Bullock/Hairston/McAdoo play well, I expect to see Miami win and cover on Sunday. This is the game Miami wants to win to get a #1 seed and head to the NCAAT with some momentum. Miami -2.5

These two did play an over at the Dean Dome that ended in the upper 140's but the game at the Comcast Center ended with close to 120 points scored.
Md is led by Mark Turgeon who focuses on defense and is led by Alex Len inside as well as Dez Wells, who had 30 last night vs. Duke in an impressive win where they put up 85 points as a team.
P'Shon Howard, Jake Layman and Nick Faust can add points for the the underdog Terps.
UNC went over with FSU yesterday by a few points. The Tar Heels are 20-10 ATS this year and will be happy not to see Duke as they were 0-2 vs. the Devils. UNC likes to run with Roy Williams as coach and led by inside player James McAdoo, as well as Reggie Bullock and PJ Hairston. Marcus Paige is a freshman PG for the Tar Heels.
Hopefully, we see some late points and maybe an OT to get extra points. Take over 139.
