10* Navy -3.5 Navy has won 6 of their last 7 games and is off a bye to prepare for ECU, who is 1-1 and barely lost at Florida but had no running game going. Chris Hairston ran well at home against Towson but didn't get going vs. the Gators. New QB Kemp is a lefty who completed some nice passes but this is first season and he was expected to be the backup but an injury moved him up. Keenan Reynolds is a senior and is about to become the runner with the most TD's. He led Navy to a 56-28 win at ECU in 2012. Navy was able to run for 400 yards while the Pirates had just 144. Reynolds is a great runner but can surprise with his passing. Swain led Navy with 121 yards in their 48-10 win against Colgate and 8 players had at least 20 yards on the ground. Navy wins and covers on Saturday.

10* under 45 I think we see a game that stays under the total on Sunday. Rex Ryan was known for defense when he was with the Jets. Buffalo starts a young QB in Tyrod Taylor, who starred at Va Tech but has very little pro experience and goes against the Indy Colts and veteran signal caller Andrew Luck. This is the only game in the NFL that features two teams that were in the top 10 of defense last year. It does concern me that the Colts could send this over but I think we see 38 to 42 points and under on Sunday.

Tulsa lost at San Antonio earlier by 65-57 but won at home by 88-61 (back when Skylar Diggins was healthy). San Antonio's recent losses have been by 30, 1, 8, 14, 31, 17, 28 and 11. Tulsa is 18-13 ATS and 16-15 SU. They are 6-1 in their last 7 and off a loss at LA by 28 points and they allowed 61% FG in the defeat. Now they return home to face a team that has shown signs of tanking for a better chance to get Brianna Stewart of UConn. Tulsa has Odyssey Sims at 16 ppg and Pierson at 13 ppg. Riquena Williams missed the last two games with an injury and is questionable and that does concern me. Christmas, Paris and Kiesel also contribute.

The ACC teams did well last year facing the SEC as we saw in the late season match ups. UNC has QB Marquise Williams, who is a good runner but just an average thrower. Returner Ryan Switzer was great as a freshman but average last season. The USC defense is better than the UNC defense. I think we see a close game but South Carolina ends up winning by 3 or more.

New York at Toronto 1pm 10* (# 966) Toronto -125
Nice value on the Blue Jays who have won 11 in a row (going for #12 on Friday and played after this is written.) Price pitches for the home team and they are a large favorite on Friday but there is nice value on Saturday as they are just -125 or better.
Estrada beat Tanaka last week 2-0. NYY does have some solid veterans but the Blue Jays are hot and led by Donladson and Bautista. Estrada is 3-0 with an ERA of 1.45 his last 3 while Tanaka is 1-2 with an ERA of 4.50.
I think Toronto wins 4-2.

They lost at Phoenix earlier and then beat them by 15 at home. They beat Chicago by 18 at home and beat Atlanta by 16. They did beat LA 82-76 a few weeks ago at Minnesota. Simeone Augustus is out but Maya Moore should lead the way. She scores 20.4 ppg and has 73 assists while Whalen scores 12.4 ppg and has 81 assists. Sylvia Fowles, Rebekkah Brunson, Asjha Jones, Anna Cruz, Rene Montgomery and Peters should contribute as well. 10* over 7.5 runs Detroit and Seattle went over in the 3rd inning on Tuesday. Detroit has played 18 overs in a row and aiming for #19 on Wednesday afternoon. The weather has been hot in Seattle, with 85 degrees on Monday and 80 on Tuesday. Even players like Mike Zunino (.159) and Taylor at .154 got some key hits for Seattle. Detroit is without Miguel Cabrera but Kinsler, Cespedes, JD Martinez and Casetellantos have hit well. Detroit can score and give up runs. Let's hope it continues on Wednesday with a 3:40pm eastern start. 10* over 7.5

Detroit at Seattle Tuesday 10pm 10* over 7.5
The over streak hits 17 and they play Tuesday night with the total set at 7.5. Walker starts for the Mariners and he has pitched well lately and hasn't allowed a walk in his last four starts. However, he has allowed 2 homers in each of his last two starts at home. Hopefully, both teams can score some runs and we see the over streak reach 18.

5* Houston +159 Corey Kluber has great stuff but the team is just 4-13 in his starts and they are just 15-23 at home. Kluber has a no decision, no decision, and 4 losses in his last 6 starts. Houston uses Velasquez an he is 3-2 with a 4.21 ERA and is 3-2 with an ERA of 3.94 in his last 3 starts. Houston is 20-20 on the road. Nice value on Houston at +159.

I look for the USA to get revenge for losing to Japan back in 2011. The USA has allowed just one goal and that was a 3-1 opening game. Hope Solo has played well and the offense has done enough to get the job done while the defense has kept the opponents off balance. I think we see a 1-0 win by the USA on Sunday as the fans will help as they are playing in Canada and the crowd should be 75% pro-USA, if not more. USA 1 Japan 0 10* USA -125

10* over 9 Detroit has played 14 overs in a row and trying for #15. It hurts that Miguel Cabrera is out but JD Martinez, Victor Martinez and Cespedes are all solid hitters. Toronto has players like Reyes, Donaldson and Bautista who hit for power and average. Justin Verlander's ERA is over 5 and he started the year injured. Estrada walked 4 vs. the Red Sox and gave up 5 runs in an earlier raod game. Playing the streak until it ends. 10* over 9 runs

10* over 8 runs Detroit has played 12 overs in a row and aim for 13 on Thursday afternoon. Red Dog has been on the last few overs. The Pirates won easily yesterday as Neal Walker was the key hitter. McCutcheon and Alvarez are others stars for the visitors while Detroit has Miguel Cabrera and JD Martinez (20 HR's). It does concern me that Liriano starts for Pittsburgh and he has good stuff but did allow 5 runs at Washington recently and I expect the Tigers to bounce back after a 9-4 loss on Wednesday.

Pittsburgh at Detroit 7pm Wednesday 10* over 8
Detroit has now played 11 overs in a row. Both teams used up some relievers in extra innings on Tuesday night and we won with the over 7.5. AJ Burnett has a low ERA but has allowed 3, 4 and 5 runs in his last three road games while Simon has allowed 5 and 7 runs in his last two starts (3 walks in both games). Playing the over streak to continue until it losses. Hoping to continue to see runs from both teams on Wednesday with solid hitters on both the Pirates (McCutcheon, Alvarez) and the Tigers (Cabrera, Martinez).
