10* Notre Dame +3.5
Notre Dame won at Duke and they have now won their last 4. They have Benzie Colson inside and Steve Vesteria outside. Zack Auguste can score and rebound as well. They should find some holes in the Orange zone.
Syracuse also beat Duke but lost at home by 11 to UNC and lost in OT to Clemson. Gnibile and Cooney are solid players It should be a close game so take the points.

VT +8.5 I was expecting +9.5 but +8.5 may be enough. Louisville is a good team but lost at Clemson by 4, won at Ga Tech by 4 and only beat NCSU by 5 in Raleigh. Louisville hasn't played the best ACC teams yet so they are ranked high. VT stayed with double digits vs. UNC on Sunday. Justin Bibbs, Seth Allen, Zach LeDay, Wilson and Shane Henry are solid players. Coach Buzz Williams is bringing in some players (freshmen and transfers) that are good. I think the home team can stay within 8 and cover.

They played OT vs. Duke last year. They did lose by 25 at home to West Va earlier this year. I think Virginia Tech can stay within 10.

Evansville is led by Balentine at 21.5 ppg and Mockevicious at 18 ppg. He grabs 14 rebounds per game and shoot 68%. If he gets hot he can keep the visitors in the game. 10* Arsenal +111 Arsenal is #2 in the England Premier League table and has the best goal differential of the 20 teams at +17. Their last few matches were win over Manchester City by 3-1, beat Aston Villa 2-0, beat Olympiakos 3-0 and defeated Sunderlund 3-1. Southampton is #12 in the table. Recent games were loss to Tottenham 2-0, lost 1-0 to Crystal Palace, 1-1 draw with Aston Villa and lost at home to Liverpool 6-1. One site predicts a 3-0 win but I will be happy to win by one goal.

Senior guard Aaron Bacote is at 13 ppg and Talley at 9.5. Baker and Denzel Taylor are defenders and score just 5 ppg each. Ambrose Mosley was kicked off the team and was the best defensive guard. URI has 5 players who average 11 to 12.5 ppg. Four McGlyn is a decent FT shooter to take late 3's if ahead and ODU guards can make FT's as well. ODU did score 77, 82, 79 and 77 at home while it is true they have played weak teams at home they did play a 138 point game at Richmond. ODU did play an ugly game at W&M that barely made it to 100+. Codi-Millier-McIntyre did miss games with an injury but averaged 14 ppg last year and the Deacons have 6 players scoring 9.5 or more. Thomas is a senior and leads with 14 ppg and 10.7 rb. The Tar Heels beat Davidson by 31 at home but is off a nice win over UCLA in Brooklyn. They are off a week until they play UNC Greensboro. UNC may be looking ahead to Christmas break and they do have Kennedy Meeks out but are solid with Marcus Paige, Brice Johnson, Jackson, Britt, Hicks, etc. I think Eaves and Burgess are motivated playing at Chapel Hill and we see a win by 24 to 27 but ASU covering 29.

Houston at Rhode Island 10* under 145 Rhode Island lost a key player (EC Matthews) in its first game of the season and has struggled some without him. The Rams have beaten the teams they're supposed to beat, but they're averaging just 68.7 points per game and rank 312th in the nation with just 68.2 possessions. Part of that is because the Rams are a terrible free throw shooting team, 61.8%. They did beat Valpo but the score was 58-55 (113). Houston boasts the highest point per possession ranking in the country, but the Cougars have played just one team in the Kenpom top 150 (UL-Monroe #145). In fact, according to Kenpom, Houston has played the easiest schedule by defenses faced in the country. Sagarin also says that the Cougars have played the easiest schedule in the nation. Playing at home I think Rhoddy controls the tempo, and Houston finds it hard to score now that they're stepping up in competition. I have this one at 134.8. Kenpom says 144. Massey says 137. GL!

10* Boston +24.5 I am taking the big underdogs as they do have some talent with seniors Papale, Alston and Diendonne. Moseley and Foreman are decent scorers. I am hoping we see them stay within 20 which is the Kenpom projection for this game with Kentucky.
