3/26 06:05 PM EST CB (523) OKLAHOMA VS (524) OREGON. Take: (524) Tourney Blowout of the Year: Oregon. Oklahoma squeezed by VCU two games ago, part of a money-burning 8-20 ATS run. They will have their hands full with this talented and explosive Ducks' squad. Oregon has more physicality with 6-6 Elgin Cook, who prefers to play more on the inside, where he's averaging 15.0 points and 8.7 rebounds in the tournament. Cook is the only Oregon player in program history to appear in three NCAA tournaments. The Ducks are off a 14-point victory against No. 4 Duke, part of a 12-4 ATS run against a team with a winning straight up record. Oregon is also 53-24-3 ATS following a spread cover, while the Sooners are 5-17 ATS in their last 22 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record. Play Oregon!

The Hoosiers have leaned on their offense all season (82.5 points) for coach Tom Crean, on a 5-1 spread run. They held West Virginia to 30.8% shooting and forced 22 turnovers. By contrast, Notre Dame had a wild comeback against Michigan the last game, trailing 41-29 at the half. They got just 38 minutes off the bench. Notre Dame finished with 16 turnovers, almost double their regular season average. Notre Dame didn't take a lead in the game until Beacham's three-pointer as the shot clock ran out with 9:26 left to make it 51-48. There were five more lead changes and three ties to come. As a No. 11 seed they just thumped Arizona, 65-55: Ron Baker added 13 points, six assists and five rebounds on 6-of-13 shooting. Key contributions off the bench once again came from Markis McDuffie and Conner Frankamp who each added 10 points. 3/17 09:55 PM ESt CB (747) GONZAGA VS (748) SETON HALL. Take: (748) NCAA Tourney Shocker of the Year: Seton Hall. Seton Hall opened as a dog here and has had an incredible run through the Big East tournament as they defeated both Xavier and Villanova as a dog to win the Conference Tournament Championship. The Big East Title earned the Pirates a No 6 seed in the NCAA tourney. Seton Hall makes its first appearance in the big dance in 10 years and will face 11th seeded Gonzaga. The Zags needed to win the West Coast Conference title from St Mary's in order to get their NCAA bid. The win left St Mary's on the outside looking in. Seton Hall has won 12 of their last 14 games S/U and is 14-3 ATS their last 17 games. Gonzaga has won five in a row, both S/U and ATS. However, this is not the same Bulldogs team that advanced to the Elite Eight last season. Gonzaga was just 1-3 S/U this year against ranked opponents. Big difference here in the competition these teams have played. Gonzaga had really just St Mary's to contend with in the WCC. However, Seton Hall had to traverse the Big East and some very good teams, including Villanova, Xavier, Providence and Butler. Take Seton Hall.

They are also rested for this one, on a 4-1 spread run. They face a Boston team short one key player (Crowder) because of an injury and playing the second of a back to back spot, at Indiana last night. The Thunder are 7-3 ATS in the last 10 meetings, including 5-1 ATS in the last 6 meetings in Boston. Florida struggled in SEC conference play this season and down the stretch was just 2-5 S/U. Moreover, the Gators really took a bite out of bettors wallets with a 3-9 ATS run to close out the season. North Florida ended the season with a 22-11 S/U record. They only had two games against the spread and split those. The Ospreys played a tough non-conference schedule, with games against Illinois, Louisville, St Louis, LSU, Dayton, Arkansas and VCU. This type of game really helps North Florida more than it does Florda. The Ospreys are vying for the same athletes as the Gators and a win here would give them a little extra recruiting bump. Only 71 miles separate these schools and I look for North Florida to have all the motivational factors in this US-301 rivalry. Take North Florida.

The Hornets have closed to within just a half game of Southeast division leader Miami. The better news is that the club is just 1 1/2 games out of third place in the East Conference playoff picture. AJ Hammons had 27 points and 11 rebounds as No. 13 Purdue beat Michigan yesterday. Purdue outrebounded Michigan by a 41-26 margin and has shot at least 50.0 percent from the field in six straight games. 3/12 3:00 PM EST CB (739) CONNECTICUT VS (740) TEMPLE. Take: (740) CBB Situational Game of the Year: Temple. Often difficult during these conference tournaments when teams have to play back-to-back games and sometimes three games in three days. But when you have to endure an overtime the previous day, it can take a toll on the legs. That's just the case here. UConn had to go to FOUR overtimes to dispatch Cincinnati on Friday. That was the equivalent of playing an entire extra half of basketball. Then they turn right around and play today against Temple. Temple has been playing very well, winning four straight and nine of the last 11 games. The Owls had little trouble with South Florida in their opening AAC tourney game on Friday, winning 79-62. The Owls are 19-8 ATS in their last 27 games following a spread win. Temple has beaten the Huskies twice this season and they make it three in a row. The Huskies have to be tired after that marathon game on Friday. I think the oddsmakers have the wrong favorite here and the Huskies are 0-4 ATS in the last 4 meetings. Take Temple.

Reason: Road Warrior Game of the Month: San Antonio is that "other" team in the West. With all the accolades that the Warriors have received this year, sometimes we forget how good the Spurs are. Not only are they 53-9, but they are undefeated at home (30-0). The Spurs have failed to cover in two straight games, though they did miss out by just 1 1/2 points in both games. That snapped a four game spread win streak. The Spurs could be without F LaMarcus Aldridge (Migraine) tonight, who is currently questionable and averages 17.12 ppg. The Indiana Pacers are 33-30 this season. They have covered just three of their last eight games. In addition, the Pacers are 0-5 ATS their last five games at home. Michigan State brings a nice 22-5 overall record and 9-5 Big 10 mark into today's game at Ohio State. The Spartans have been hot, winning six of seven straight up and covering seven straight. Meanwhile, Ohio State is heating up at the right time. The Buckeyes are 18-10 overall and 10-5 in conference. They have won four straight games and have covered six of their last nine. This is a game that will pit the MSU offense against the OSU defense. Ohio State allows just 66.1 points per game. They are also 15th in the nation in field goal percentage allowed at 38.8%. The Buckeyes are 4-1 ATS in their last five home games. In addition, the road team is just 2-5-1 ATS the last eight games in this series. OSU is playing well and has that good defense. The home dog looks like the great play for me. Take Ohio State.

Kentucky led by 21 points in the first half of that Feb. 2 meeting before Tennessee rallied to win 84-77 in a performance that left John Calipari less than thrilled. The good news for the Wildcats is that they've recovered to win their last three games by 19, 34 and 29 points - all against opponents in the top half of the SEC standings. Oakland is having a very nice year, especially in the Horizon League. Oakland is 18-9 overall and 10-4 in conference play and just second behind Valparaiso. The Golden Grizzlies have been very good to bettors, covering seven of their last eight games. They have also been amazing on the road, where they have covered 12 of 13 contests. Wright State is having a good season also, 16-11 overall and 10-4 in conference play. Unlike Oakland, Wright State has covered just twice in their last seven games. This will be the second meeting between these clubs this year, with Oakland taking the first back in Michigan, 89-63. The Grizzlies are playing too good on the road for me to overlook them in this spot. I'm taking Oakland as my Horizon League Game of the year.

The Raptors have jumped into first in the Atlantic Division with a 34-16 overall record. Meanwhile, Detroit has been dropping fast, losing nine of the last 15 games. The Pistons are now fourth in the Central division with a 27-25 record. The overall conference standings find the Raptors in 2nd, just two games back of Cleveland. 01/12 07:05 PM ESt NBA (701) PHOENIX SUNS VS (702) INDIANA PACERS. Take: (702) Blowout Game of the Year: Indiana. The Pacers are in need of some luck after losing two games in OT in their last four games. Sunday's loss to Houston in OT (107-103) saw the Pacers leading by double-digits in the second half. The Pacers were 2-2 on that road trip, but could have easily pulled out one or even two more wins. They will have a much easier time here on Tuesday against a struggling Suns club. The Suns have lost 10 of the last 11 games and are 5-12 ATS their last 17. The Suns dismissed their assistant coaches at the end of December as a result of their poor play. Phoenix is 13-26 S/U and 16-23 ATS and allowing the highest field goal percentage (47.5%) in the NBA. They have one of the best centers in Tyson Chandler. However, Chandler has been allowing a lot of easy contested shots as he's ranked 6th in the NBA in highest field goal percentage allowed among centers. This is an ideal team for the Pacers to garner a much-needed win and cover against. Take Indiana.

The New York Knicks (8-7 S/U, 9-5 ATS) are much improved this year after quite a few years of controversy and just horrible play. The Knicks had a great run recently, winning five straight and eight against the spread. Then, the Knicks hit a brick wall, putting forth their worst offensive output of the season in a loss at Miami, 95-78. Rookie Kirstaps Porzingis, the number four pick the draft, has played great with an average of 20 ppg. The Magic (6-8 S/U, 8-6 ATS) have slumped lately, which has prompted HC Scott Skiles to hint of lineup changes after Tuesday's loss to the Cavs, 117-103. The Magic opened the season with seven straight covers before going on a 1-6 ATS run. The Knicks have dominated this series, going 10-2-1 the last 13 against the Magic. In addition, they are 6-1-1 in their last trips to Florida. The Knicks are much improved this season and while they are a very small dog here on Wednesday, they won't need it as they win this one going away. Take the Knicks.

Golden State has been in every game with their depth and firepower, coming back from 20-down on the road the last game to cut it to 1 point in the fourth. They could easily by up 2-1 or even 3-0. Now they are in a must-win game and changes are in store. Steve Kerr has played Cleveland's style of basketball (slowing the pace down) but will try and run more. He can do that by mixing up his bench, bringing in big guys to rebound for stretches, then going back to the small-ball he's used a lot. The Warriors are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 vs. the Eastern Conference. They will attack a Cavaliers team that is short on depth and star power after the losses of Love and Irving. Game one was tough to take as I had both the UNDER and the Cavs. Cavs were in control for the first 48 minutes of game one. LeBron James played great in game one. Stephen Curry struggled to get going most of the game. It was only in OT that Golden State took over and coverd the six point spead. Both of these clubs are excellent defensive teams. Golden State was No. 1 in FG shooting defense and plays its best defense at home. Cleveland is on a 4-1 run under the total on the road and has been a terrific defensive team all playoffs. They got much better in midseason with the additions of Mosgov up front and Shumpert from the Knicks. The big question here in game two is how will the Cavs respond now they they have lost Kyrie Irving for the rest of the playoffs. One thing I have liked about this Cleveland team has been their ability to adjust to the changes all season and during the playoffs. The Cavs will need JR Smith to step up now with more offense with Iman Shumpert also playing a big role that Irving filled. The Cavs will also need to dictate the pace again here in game two and not allow transition baskets. It's going to be tough without Irving, but I think the Cavs can still keep this one close and cover the spread. Take Cleveland in game 2.

They pretty much swept the Hawks without Kyrie Irving, recovering from a knee injury. Cleveland picked up key players in mid-season (Shumpert, J.R. Smith, Mosgov) that has really transformed them from a very good team to a deep, flexible one that can clamp down defensively. And of course, they have the best players in the game in LeBron James. 05/17 3:00 PM EST NBA (751) LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS VS (752) HOUSTON ROCKETS Take: (752) HOUSTON ROCKETS Reason: High Roller NBA Platinum: Houston Rockets in Game 7. The LA Clippers looked shell-shocked in Game 6 at home, blowing a huge fourth quarter lead to lose 119-107. They were outscored 40-15 at home when all they had to do was hold on for a celebration....now they have to jump on a plane and fly to Houston for a winner-take-all road game. The weaknesses in both teams have been exploited in this series. The LA weaknesses have really hurt the last two game: free throw shooting and no bench. Houston is playing an uptempo style and the Clippers have had trouble keeping pace when going to their weak bench. Houston is a home dog and the home team is 88-22 straight up in Game 7s in NBA history. Houston is home, playing loose and their head coach is making all the right moves. Play Houston in Game 7.

05/15 09:35 PM EST NBA (747) GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS VS (748) MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES Take: (747) NBA High Roller Platinum Club: Golden State Warriors in Game 6. Golden State had a pair of hiccups in Games 2 and 3, which happens to all great teams in the postseason. But they have bounced out of an offensive slump to strangle the Grizzlies the last two games, winning 101-84 and 98-78. How's that for a pair of statement games to take back charge of a series? This team is historically good, No. 1 in the NBA in field goal shooting, No. 1 in three-point shooting and No. 1 in FG shooting defense. The Warriors are 9-4 ATS in their last 13 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. When they get that long rang going, the Warriors can open up a 10-point lead on anyone, forcing a slow-down team like Memphis to try and hurry-up -- and that's not their style or game. The Grizzlies are 1-4 ATS at home against a team with a winning road record and when these teams clash the favorite is 7-3 ATS in the last 10 meetings. Play Golden State in Game 6.

The Wizards are 4-0-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a loss and 8-2-1 ATS in their last 11 games overall. Washington got 34 from Bradley Beal the last game and is getting very good guard play from two players filling in for John Wall. And they have a strong, physical frontcourt, which is needed against the Hawks. Atlanta is a big favorite but almost all these games have been close, with the hawks winning by 6 the last game and Washington winning by 2 and 6. Just a bad game 2 for a super-talented Golden State team the last time out. This team was No. 1 in the NBA in shooting from the field, three-point shooting and field goal shooting defense. Yet, they were 6-of-26 from long range at home in Game 2. Now it's bounce back time and the Memphis has depth concerns with Mike Conley not being 100%. The Cavs lost hard working Anderson Varajeo earlier in the year and now lost 7-footer Kevin Love. In addition, J.R. Smith will miss the first two games of the series because of a suspension. The defending champs are in bounce back mode and they are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a loss. San Antonio has a better bench and the L.A. 4/11 10:05 PM NBA (507) MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES VS (508) LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS Take: (507) MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES Reason: NBA Dog of the Year: Memphis. The Memphis Grizzlies are on a mission, off a 110-74 rout of New Orleans on Wednesday. All three of the Grizzlies' front-line starters -- Zach Randolph, Marc Gasol and Jeff Green -- scored 15 points, converting a combined 19 of 36 shots. Memphis outrebounded the Pelicans 52-39, held a 58-36 advantage in the paint. The Grizzlies are 5-2 ATS against the Western Conference and 7-3-1 ATS versus a team with a winning percentage above .600. Memphis is 8th in the NBA in field goal shooting (.458%), 10th in field goal shooting defense and No. 2 in points allowed (95 ppg). They have the kind of defense and frontcourt you need to face the Clippers. The Clippers are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 home games, a poor free throw shooting team, and 4-12 ATS on the road against a team with a winning percentage of greater than .600. The Grizzlies are 9-2 ATS in the last 11 meetings, including 4-0 ATS at Los Angeles. Play Memphis!

4/10 07:35 PM EST NBA (703) INDIANA PACERS VS (704) DETROIT PISTONS Take: (703) NBA Platinum: Indiana Pacers. The Detroit Pistons were eliminated from the playoffs with a loss to the Celtics the last game. Detroit is struggling to score points, getting under 100 in 3 of the last 4. They've also dropped 4 of the last 6 contests and the Pistons are 7-15 ATS in their last 22 games following a double-digit loss at home. They have a losing home record and the Pistons are 4-12 ATS at home against a team with a road winning percentage of less than .400. Indiana is healthy and fighting for a playoff berth. The Pacers stayed within striking distance of the final Eastern Conference playoff spot when they defeated the Knicks 102-86 on Wednesday night. George Hill led the Pacers (35-43) with 20 points. Roy Hibbert had a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. The Pacers are 5-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning percentage below .400, and the Pacers are 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings in Detroit. 4/10 07:05 PM EST NBA (701) TORONTO RAPTORS VS (702) ORLANDO MAGIC Take: (702) NBA Situational Shocker of the Year: Orlando. Can't trust defenseless Toronto, on a 1-2 Su/ATS run. The Raptors are 9-21-1 ATS playing on one days rest, plus 2-8 ATS following a spread cover. They head south to Orlando, a young team that has caught fire on a 3-0 SU/ATS run, winning the last two as dogs of +7 and +9. Victor Oladipo had 23 points and scored on a layup with 1.5 seconds left to give the Magic a 105-103 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night. "There's no playoff but we're trying to treat every game like a playoff game," Oladipo said. "There's teams that we're playing that are playoff seeds, but we're trying to get better too." Take the points with this very live hungry home dog, and another straight up win wouldn't surprise, either. Play Orlando!

Miami is getting healthy, too, with Luol Deng back (21 points against Charlotte) while Goran Dragic had 28. Dragic made 10 of 16 shots, his highest-scoring game since coming to Miami in a trade in February. The Heat are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 home games. They fell behind San Antonio 31-17 the last game, a 107-92 loss. The New Orleans Pelicans are trying to overtake the Oklahoma City Thunder for the final seed. The Pelicans are 16-5 ATS at home against a team with a winning road record. The Pelicans control their playoff destiny and have a magic number of six to seize the eighth spot. The Raptors are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games playing on no days rest. They have a 3-guard attack on offense, but that's exactly what red-hot Boston has. The Celtics are also in the second of a back to back but are playing well, on a 25-11-1 ATS run, as well as 35-16-1 ATS playing on no days rest. Michigan State has great balance with 6-6 senior Branden Dawson (12 ppg, 9 rpg) and 6-9 Matt Costello (7.4 ppg, 5.3 rpg) up front, while the backcourt leads in scoring in 6-5 junior Denzel Valentine (14.5 ppg, 6.2 rpg) and 6-0 senior Travis Trice (14.8 ppg, 5.2 apg). This team was 6th in the nation in assists last year and fourth this season, an unselfish, team-oriented group. The Spartans are 4-0 ATS against a team with a winning record. Play Michigan State!

They just scored 92 points at home in a loss to the Pelicans, shooting 62% from the free throw line. A great Portland defense is in town, 10th in the NBA in points allowed and ninth in field goal shooting defense. 4/01 08:05 PM EST NBA (515) DALLAS MAVERICKS VS (516) OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER Take: (516) NBA OVERALL Game of the Year: Play the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Dallas Mavericks and Oklahoma City Thunder sit 7th and 8th in the West playoff picture right now. Dallas leads OKC by three games and neither team wants to face Golden State in the first round, so these last games of the regular season are important. The Thunder lead 9th place New Orleans by 2 1/2 games. Dallas has lost four of its last five games including a blowout loss at San Antonio last Friday, 94-76. But more importantly, the Mavs lost leading scorer Monta Ellis (19 ppg) in that game against the Spurs. Ellis injured his calf and the Mavs are in no hurry to rush him back. The issue though, is that without Ellis, they were blown out by the Spurs and then lost their next game at Indiana, 104-99. The bench has been a problem area all season long, their worst since 2008-09 season. The addition of Amare Stoudemire at the All Star break was intended to bolster what was being called a under-performing bench. Also, the addition of Rajon Rando earlier in the year has not done much for the team if not even hurt them in some ways. The Mavs have been terrible for bettors lately, going 1-6 ATS their last seven and 3-12 ATS their last 15. Moreover, the Mavericks are 3-14 ATS their last 17 on the road against winning teams and 0-8 ATS their last eight on the road against teams that are .600 or better.
Meanwhile, the OKC Thunder are 5-2 S/U their last seven and 7-3 S/U their last 10. They are also 7-3 ATS their last 10 and 11-4 ATS their last 15 against the tough West Conference. Tonight's contest also is the first of a back-to-back spot for the Mavericks, who have to play Houston on Thursday and then Golden State on Saturday. The Mavs could easily lose all three of these games, especially if Ellis doesn't return. There is a big difference between playing Memphis or Houston in the first round and playing Golden State. The Thunder knows it needs this game tonight to close that gap and grab the 7th spot. And, without Ellis in the lineup and a Mavericks bench that is questionable at best, this is the perfect spot for the Thunder. Your overall 2015 NBA Game of the Year is on the Oklahoma City Thunder.

03/31 10:35 PM EST NBA (767) GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS VS (768) LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS Take: (768) NBA Revenge Game of the Month: LA Clippers. Golden State is the team to beat come playoff time. The Warriors are led by their amazing guard tandem of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. The Warriors not only have a 10-game lead for the best team in the West, but they lead Atlanta for the best record in the NBA by five games. The LA Clippers sit 5th right now in the West but would like nothing better than to get into the top 4 and assure themselves a home-court advantage, at least in the 1st round of playoffs. Both of these clubs have been hot, Golden State winning nine in a row and the Clippers winning seven in a row. Blake Griffin is back for the Clips and the home club usually does well in this matchup, covering seven of the last nine meetings. The Clips have covered six of the last eight in LA including their one previous matchup this year, a 100-86 LA win. This game means more to LA than it does to the Warriors. LA getting a few points at home here, but realistically they need to win outright and help themselves in the playoff picture. And when these teams last met Golden State won 106-98 at home....but the home team gets payback here! Take the Clippers.

3/27 09:45 PM CB (883) UTAH VS (884) DUKE Take: (884) Rare Personal Best College Hoops: Duke. A tough matchup for Utah, heading to Houston, Texas. The Utes haven't advanced to the Sweet 16 since 2005, and the team is making its first tournament appearance since 2009. Utah is on a 5-4 straight up run and has not done well when stepping up. Utah lost at No. 10 Arizona (69-51), lost at UCLA (69-59), lost to No. 10 Kansas (63-60) as +4 home dog and lost at No. 16 SDSU (53-49). They also just lost to Oregon (67-64) in the Pac 12 tourney. Meanwhile Duke is 47-9 SU as No. 1 seed and is loaded with talent behind 6-6 freshman Justise Winslow (12 ppg, 6.3 rpg), 6-11 freshman Jahlil Okafor (18 ppg, 8.7 rpg) and 6-9 junior Amile Jefferson (6.6 ppg, 5.8 rpg). Duke outscored San Diego State 44-28 in the paint Sunday, its 18th game this season with at least 40 paint points, three more than any other major conference team. Thrown in 6-1 freshman Tyus Jones (11.4 ppg, 5.8 apg) and 6-2 senior Quinn Cook (15.8 ppg) and this Blue Devil backcourt is a handful. Duke is 6-1 ATS at neutral sites and will roll. Play Duke!

3/26 04:15 PM CB (805) WICHITA STATE VS (806) NOTRE DAME Take: (806) NOTRE DAME Reason: CBB Tourney Dog of the Month: Notre Dame. No. 7 Wichita State's great ride comes to an end. The Shockers are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 non-conference games, plus 1-4 ATS in their last 5 neutral site games. This frontcourt is not big, a three-guard attack with 6-7 senior Darius Carter (11 ppg) up front. That will be a huge problem against a big Notre Dame front line that also has veteran guard play in 6-5 senior guard Jerian Grant (16.8 ppg, 6.6 apg) and senior G Demetrius Jackson (12.4 ppg, 3.6 rpg, 3.0 apg). Grant missed most of the 2013-14 season due to an academic issue. This frontcourt is outstanding, fresh off that surprising ACC title, 2nd in the nation in shooting .510% behind 6-10 junior Zach Auguste (12.6 ppg, 6.4 rpg), 6-5 senior Pat Connaughton (12.5 ppg, 7.3 rpg). 03/24 08:05 PM EST NBA (657) SAN ANTONIO SPURS VS (658) DALLAS MAVERICKS Take: (657) NBA T.V. Rivalry Game of the Month: Spurs. In a very tough West Conference the Spurs sit 6th right now. However, the good news for San Antonio fans is that the club is just two games back of 3rd and 5 1/2 back of 2nd place Memphis. The Mavericks sit in 7th place, one game back of the Spurs and can catch them with a win tonight. The problem for the Mavericks has been a shaky bench, something that has plagued them all season. In addition, the Mavs earlier trade for guard Rajon Rondo has pretty much been a bust for the Mavs. The Mavericks are 8-21 ATS in their last 29 games vs. a team with a winning record. Dallas looks to snap a two-game losing streak against their in-state rivals. Dallas has also been terrible against the spread, covering just one game in the last nine. The Spurs have a three-game win streak heading into tonight. They have also won 10 of their last 12. And, unlike the Mavs, they are 9-3 ATS their last 12 games. Dallas is also 8-24-2 ATS against the Western Conference. The road team has been the best bet in this series, with the away club covering 11 of the last 16 in the series. The Spurs are playing well, while Dallas continues to look for some continuity. Take the Spurs.

03/20 2:45 PM EST CB (843) INDIANA VS (844) WICHITA STATE Take: (844) 2nd Round Tourney Game of the Year: Wichita State. Indiana is a bad team away from home and a worse defensive team no matter where they play. It's a young team for Tom Crean that has lost confidence down the stretch, losing 9 of the last 14. Indiana was considered a bubble team for the NCAA Tournament after finishing tied for seventh in the Big Ten regular season and winning one game at the conference tournament. The Hoosiers are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 neutral site games, plus 0-4-1 ATS in their last 5 NCAA Tournament games. Wichita State has had a great season again, losing only 4 games. They went to No. 25 Utah as a +6 dog and lost by a point in OT. This is the sixth time in the Gregg Marshall era that Wichita has faced a school from the Big Ten, and the previous results have been favorable. The Shockers are 4-1 against the conference in the last eighth seasons with an NIT win over Nebraska and an NCAA Elite Eight victory over Ohio State to their credit. 03/19 3:10 PM EST CB (731) UCLA VS (732) SMU Take: (732) CBB High Roller Platinum: SMU. Larry Brown brings his third team to the NCAA tournament, this time with SMU. The Mustangs won the American Athletic Conference, their first conference title since 1993. Brown has done a great job with SMU, bringing them to the NIT last year before losing in the Championship Game to Minnesota. The Mustangs lost just three conference games all season and beat U Conn in the Title game, 62-54. The UCLA Bruins got an at-large bid after losing to Arizona in the Pac-12 conference final, 70-64. UCLA surprised many by getting a bid considering they were just 20-13 on the season. Despite UCLA being an 11th seed and SMU a six seed, the Mustangs just a 3 1/2 point favorite here. That's surprising to me considering that SMU had 27 wins on the season including wins over Wyoming and Michigan. SMU has been doing well for bettors, going 15-7-3 ATS their last 25 overall games. A fourth place PAC-12 club here against the top AAC team. I'll lay the short points here with the Mustangs who likely should have been a higher seed than No.6. Play SMU!
