04-05-21 | Baylor v. Gonzaga OVER 159 | Top | 86-70 | Loss | -110 | 30 h 5 m | Show |
Both these teams advanced to the NCAA Championship game on different paths. The Baylor Bears had little trouble with their intra-state rivals, Houston, winning in a never close game, 78-59. Gonzaga took a much more exciting route, beating UCLA in OT 93-90. This game was close the entire way and it looked like we were headed to Double OT as UCLA made a basket with just over three seconds left. However, a nearly half court 3-points banked in and the Zags advanced to the title game here today. Baylor has more offensive weapons then UCLA and likes an up-tempo pace, as does Gonzaga. I expect this pace tonight to be fast and with that I'm taking the OVER. |

04-04-21 | Lakers v. Clippers UNDER 212 | Top | 86-104 | Win | 100 | 4 h 23 m | Show |
Lakers finally got a needed win last time out over Sacramento, 115-94. Since James and Davis have been out they have not been scoring well at all, in fact that game went under too, their fourth in a row. The Clippers look to snap a two-game losing streak here today. They have not been scoring either, with just 94 and 96 points in their last two games. This looks to be another low scoring affair. Play UNDER. |
04-03-21 | UCLA +14.5 v. Gonzaga | Top | 90-93 | Win | 100 | 48 h 19 m | Show |
Lets face it, this NCAA Tournament is Gonzaga's to lose. They are by far the best team in this tournament, winning every game by double digits and making them look easy. Now come UCLA, who has been lucky to win some OT and close games going back to the PAC-12 and NCAA tourneys. My feeling here is that Gonzaga will destroy this UCLA club as they have everyone else. No reason to look at numbers or anything else, just taking Gonzaga. |
04-01-21 | Nuggets -1.5 v. Clippers | Top | 101-94 | Win | 100 | 10 h 22 m | Show |
Denver bring a 3-game win streak into tonight's contest at the LA Clippers. The Nuggets have won seven of their last nine and covered six of their last nine. The Clippers look to bounce back after a home loss to the Orlando Magic, 96-103 as a 11.5 point favorite. The Clippers look to be without star forward Paul George who will be out with a foot injury tonight. The Clipper had been on a nice six-game S/U and ATS win streak before George went down and they lost to the Magic. I'm going to lay the small price on the road with the Nuggets here tonight. Play Denver. |
03-31-21 | Bulls v. Suns -7 | Top | 116-121 | Loss | -105 | 11 h 24 m | Show |
The Chicago Bulls look to snap a four game s/u and ats losing streak here tonight a Phoenix. The Bulls on a West coast trip that saw them lose to San Antonio and Golden State. Meanwhile the Phoenix Suns have won three straight games including last night over Atlanta, 117-110 as a 6-point favorite. The Suns have also won six of their last seven games while covering five of those games. The Suns are now 20-7 ATS their last 27 games as a favorite and 22-8 ATS in their last 30 home games. Phoenix is also 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games with no days rest. Despite having played last night, I still like Suns here tonight. |
03-30-21 | 76ers v. Nuggets -5 | Top | 95-104 | Win | 100 | 9 h 41 m | Show |
Philly is on their West Coast swing, having started with a win at Golden State, 108-98, then beating the Lakers 109-101, before losing to the Clippers last time out, 112-122. The Sixers lead in the East conference has gotten smaller with time to where they now lead Brooklyn by just a 1/2 game. Have to think Philly is getting road weary, with their fifth straight on the road tonight. They are also just 7-18-1 ATS in their last 26 games as a road dog. Denver has won two straight games and six of their last eight games. Denver always a tough place for visitors with their high altitude. I'll take the Nuggets tonight. |
03-29-21 | Oregon State +8 v. Houston | Top | 61-67 | Win | 100 | 9 h 31 m | Show |
Midwest Regional Final has Oregon State taking on Houston. Oregon State the surprise team left in the tournament as they got red-hot right at Conference tourney time. Oregon State has won six straight games and covered all six. They held Loyola Chicago to just 58 and Tennessee to 56 in their three NCAA tourney games. Houston has also slowed the pace of late, going under in their last two NCAA tourney games, holding Syracuse to just 46 points on Saturday and Rutgers to 60 in their game before. One thing has been evident in this NCAA tournament, 3-point shot making percentage has dropped significantly. Normally around the 30% mark or more, we've been seeing 20% of shots dropping from 3-point. Oregon State hit 21.7% against Loyola Chicago and then 27.7% against Oklahoma State and 19.2% vs Tennessee. Houston, which has seen numbers in the 40% ranges, hit just 21.7% against Syracuse, resulting int their 62-46 win. Seems like teams are getting better at defending the 3-point shot and that has resulted in lower scoring games. With a lower score expected here, the points become critical. I'll take the dog points with the PAC 12 teams doing so well. Play Oregon St. |
03-28-21 | Creighton v. Gonzaga -13 | Top | 65-83 | Win | 100 | 36 h 15 m | Show |
Creighton bounced back from their Big East conference blowout loss to Georgetown with a pair of wins here in the NCAA. They just go bye Cal Santa Barbara, 63-62 and then easily beat Ohio U, 72-58. Now they have the arduous task of facing No 1 see Gonzaga. Gonzaga is 29-0 on the season and has rolled through the first two rounds of the NCAA with wins over Norfolk, 98-55 and then Oklahoma, 87-71, covering both. Gonzaga laying around 13 looks like a gift to me. I'll take them here today. Play Gonzaga. |
03-26-21 | Nuggets v. Pelicans OVER 231.5 | Top | 113-108 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 14 m | Show |
Denver Nuggets fell to 26-18 after losing to Toronto on Wednesday, 111-135. The Nuggets are 3-3 S/U and ATS in their last six games. They are also 4-2 O/U in those six games. The Nuggets have now gone over in 21 of their last 29 road games as a favorite. The New Orleans Pelicans are 19-24 after winning two straight games, including a game at Denver last Sunday, 113-108. The Pelicans have gone over in eight of their last nine home games as a dog. They are also 30-8 O/U overall their last 38 games. These teams have gone over in five of their last seven meetings in New Orleans. That's what I'm on here tonight. Play OVER. |
03-25-21 | Boise State v. Memphis -4 | Top | 56-59 | Loss | -112 | 10 h 32 m | Show |
NIT Quarterfinal action has Boise State taking on Memphis tonight. Boise lost in the Mountain West tourney to Nevada, 82-89. They bounced back in the opening round of the NIT with a win over SMU, 85-84, covering the 1-point dog line. Still, the Broncos are just 5-6 ATS in their last 11 games. They have also won just one of their last five games. Memphis lost in the American Athletic Tourney to a very good Houston team, 74-76, covering the 7-point dog line. It was the team's seventh cover in a row. They are also 8-2 S/U over their last 10 games. Memphis playing the better here between these two teams. Play Memphis. |
03-24-21 | Coastal Carolina +5 v. Pepperdine | Top | 61-84 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 26 m | Show |
Coastal Carolina had to go to OT last night to get the exciting win over Stetson, though they failed to cover the spread. The Chanticleers came an OT away from the NCAA tournament after losing to App State. Pepperdine advanced with a win over Bellarmine on Tuesday, 82-71. Hard to dismiss the fact that Carolina came so close to the NCAA tournament - and that wasn't by accident. This is a very good team. Pepperdine is average, but one can argue they played the likes of St Marys and Gonzaga all season. Still, I'm going to take the points with the dog in this one. Play Coastal Carolina. |
03-23-21 | Wizards v. Knicks -2.5 | Top | 113-131 | Win | 100 | 9 h 35 m | Show |
Washington Wizards travel to NY tonight to take on the Knicks. The Wizards are just 15-26 S/U and 21-20-0 ATS on the season. The Wizards are coming off a loss at Brooklyn, 106-113. They are just 1-6 in their last seven games and 3-4 ATS. The NY Knicks are 21-22 on the season and can climb back to the .500 mark with a win tonight. The Knicks are coming off a loss to Philly, 100-101. They are 3-4 S/U and 4-2-1 ATS in their last seven games. The Knicks are also 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games as a favorite. Knicks laying just 2 1/2 points here tonight. Play NY Knicks. |
03-22-21 | Ohio +6 v. Creighton | Top | 58-72 | Loss | -109 | 30 h 3 m | Show |
Ohio pulled a big upset win on Saturday, beating Virginia 62-58 as a 6-point dog. Creighton had all it could handle in round one just getting past Cal Santa Barbara, 63-62 as a 7-point favorite. Creighton trailed Santa Barbara by as many as eight points in the first half and were down by six with just 5:30 left to play in the game. The Blue Jays have failed to cover their last two games and four of their last seven. The Ohio defense made a big stand on Saturday, holding Virginia without a field goal for 10:09 seconds of the 2nd half. Creighton has been inconsistent this year and underachieving most of the season. The Ohio Bobcats look like they are primed for another straight up win as a dog. Play Ohio. |
03-20-21 | Ohio +7 v. Virginia | Top | 62-58 | Win | 100 | 20 h 48 m | Show |
There is something to be said for getting hot at the right time. That's the case for this Ohio Bobcats team. The Cats were 4th in the MAC East but got to the NCAA tournament by winning nine of their last 10 games including all of their MAC tourney games. They were one of the better scoring teams in the nation, with around 80 ppg average. This Ohio team loves to run up and down the court and is an excellent passing team. Now they face one of the best defensive teams in the nation in Virginia. The problem for Virginia is that it had an undisclosed player test positive for Covid. That's a tourney ender for most teams. However, they have quarantined and if they had at least five players test negative for seven consecutive days they would be allowed to play. The Cavs look like they have passed that hurdle. Problem is they can't practice until they pass that protocol. Sure, they will be rested, but will they be game ready here today? I'm taking this hot Ohio team that has been shooting lights out against this Virginia team that frankly might not be ready to play. Take Ohio. |
03-19-21 | Winthrop +6.5 v. Villanova | Top | 63-73 | Loss | -108 | 37 h 14 m | Show |
NCAA First Round action here has Winthrop taking on Villanova. Winthrop didn't have to win a conference tournament, rather winning their regular season crown is what got them into the NCAA tourney. Winthrop was 24-1 S/U and 14-11 ATS on the season. They had little trouble in the Big South conference, lsoing just to UNC Asheville back on Jan 29th, 55-57 as their lone setback. Villanova was a victim of the Georgetown freight train that bullied through the Big East. The Cats lost their last two games and three of their last four. In addition they are covered just one of those last four. Winthrop getting around 6 points here on Friday. I believe Winthrop has a very good chance to win this game straight-up. Play Winthrop. |
03-18-21 | Wolves v. Suns -10 | Top | 123-119 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 16 m | Show |
Minnesota Timberwolves are 9-31 and S/U 17-22-1 ATS on the season. The Wolves have won two of their last four games. This on the heals of a nine-game losing streak. They are also 3-1 ATS in their last four games. They have also covered just three of their last 13 games overall. The Phoenix Suns are 26-12 S/U and 26-12 ATS on the season. The Suns lead the Pacific division by one-game over the Lakers. The Suns have won and covered six of their last seven games. The Suns are also 19-7 ATS in their last 26 home games and 25-10 in their last 35 as a favorite. Phoenix has covered five of the last six games and seven of the last 10 games in Phoenix against the Wolves. Play Phoenix. |
03-16-21 | Thunder v. Bulls -5.5 | Top | 102-123 | Win | 100 | 8 h 19 m | Show |
OKC Thunder are 17-22 S/U and 21-16-2 ATS on the season. The Thunder are coming off a win over Memphis on Sunday, 128-122 as a 9.5-point dog. It was the team's third win and cover in their last four games. The Chicago Bulls are 17-20 S/U and 20-16-1 ATS on the season. The Bulls are coming off a home win over Toronto on Sunday, 118-95 as a 3-point favorite. The Bulls are 5-4 both S/U and ATS in their last nine games. Chicago isn't favored much, but they are 4-1 ATS in their five games when laying points. They are also 19-7 ATS in their last 26 games against a team with a losing record. I'll lay the points here tonight with the home team. Play the Bulls. |
03-15-21 | Kings v. Hornets -3 | Top | 116-122 | Win | 100 | 7 h 36 m | Show |
The Sacramento Kings are 15-23 on the season with a 16-22 ATS mark. The Kings opened 2nd half play with a win at Houston, 125-105 and then a loss on Saturday at Atlanta, 106-121. The Kings are 3-3 S/U their last six. Before that they had lost nine games in a row. The Kings are just 2-5 ATS in their last seven road games. They are 3-12 ATS in their last 15 overall. The Charlotte Hornets are 19-18 S/U on the season and 20-17 ATS on the season. The Hornets bring a 3-game win streak into today's contest and winners of four of the last five games. The Hornets have covered the last four in this series and I expect them to cover again here tonight. Play Charlotte. |
03-13-21 | Georgetown +8.5 v. Creighton | Top | 73-48 | Win | 100 | 6 h 29 m | Show |
Georgetown is the Cinderella team of the Big East Conference Tourney. The Hoyas finished the regular season just 8-13 S/U but have won three straight tourney games over Marquette, Villanova and last night over Seton Hall. They have covered three straight games and six of their last eight games. Their only chance to punch their ticket to the NCAA tournament and likely kill their opponents, is a win tonight over Creighton. The Blue Jays opened with a win over Butler, 87-56, before having to battle all night last night and take a close one vs U Conn, 59-56. I am taking the big points tonight with the Hoyas and hope that Creighton doesn't give much thought to them. Play Georgetown. |
03-11-21 | South Carolina v. Ole Miss -7 | Top | 59-76 | Win | 100 | 7 h 3 m | Show |
SEC Conference 2nd Round Action at Nashville, TN has South Carolina taking on Ole Miss. South Carolina comes into today's tourney game losing eight of their last nine games. They are also 1-6 ATS in their last seven games. In their one game vs Ole Miss, they lost at home to the Rebles, 74-81, failing to cover the 1-point dog line. Ole Miss comes into this game winners of two in row both S/U and ATS. They are 7-2 S/U and ATS in their last nine games. Ole Miss just the better team here tonight. Play Mississippi. |
03-10-21 | Iona +1 v. Siena | Top | 55-52 | Win | 100 | 3 h 56 m | Show |
Metro Atlantic Athletic Quarterfinals from Atlantic City, NJ has Iona taking on Siena. Iona is 9-5 S/U and ATS. They opened with a win yesterday in the opening round over Quinnipiac, 72-48 as a 7-point favorite. It was their third win in a row and seventh of their last eight games. They are also 7-1 ATS during that time. Siena is 12-4 S/U and 7-9 ATS. They are coming off a loss to Canisius, 75-76. They have covered just two of their last six games. Recent form has Iona playing the better ball with a 3-1 ATS record vs 2-2 for Siena. In fact, the last eight games favor Iona. All my numbers have Siena a decent favorite here today. Play Iona. |
03-09-21 | Boston College v. Duke OVER 151.5 | Top | 51-86 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 8 m | Show |
ACC Conference First Round action finds Boston College taking on Duke from Greensboro, NC. Both teams have struggled this year, BC more though. The Eagles are just 4-15 S/U and 8-10 ATS on the year. However, I'm looking at the total here tonight where BC has gone over in 13 of their 19 games. The Eagles have gone over in three straight games and six of their last eight games. In their one game vs Duke this year they lost 82-83, going over the 150 point total. Duke is 11-11 S/U and 7-15 ATS on the season. The Blue Devils are 14-8 O/U. They have gone over in six straight games and nine of their last 10 games. Both teams give up a lot of points and that's what I'm sticking with here tonight. The OVER. |
03-08-21 | Northern Kentucky -1 v. Oakland | Top | 58-69 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 59 m | Show |
Horizon League Semifinals here in the late game has Northern Kentucky taking on Oakland. The Northern Kentucky Norse are 14-10 S/U and 12-10-1 ATS on the season. The have won three of their last four games and nine of their last 11 games. In addition they are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games. The Oakland Golden Grizzlies are just 11-17 S/U 16-11 ATS on the season. The Grizzlies have won three of their last four games both S/U and ATS. Though they are just 3-4 S/U and ATS their last seven games. Line on this game is around 1 point on either side. I like Northern in this one. Play Northern Kentucky |
03-07-21 | Drake v. Loyola-Chicago -7.5 | Top | 65-75 | Win | 100 | 3 h 16 m | Show |
Missouri Valley Conference Tourney Championship game here today from St Louis has Drake taking on Loyola Chicago. Drake is 25-3 S/U and 19-5-1 ATS overall on the season. The Bulldogs are coming off a win over Missouri State, 71-69, just covering the 1-point spread. They lost the previous game at Bradley, 61-67 as a 8.5 point favorite. The Bulldogs will have to go the rest of the way without one of their best players in ShanQuan Hemphill who is out with a foot injury. That has impacted this team in recent weeks. Loyola Chicago Ramblers are 23-4 S/U and 15-9-1 ATS. The Ramblers have won five straight and 15 of their last 16 games. In their two games at Drake, they split, winning the first 81-54 and losing the second, 50-51. Drake will need to keep this score low to have a shot of winning. I like Loyola much more and Drake can take consolation that they will make the NCAA's anyways. Play Loyola Chicago. |
03-06-21 | Oklahoma State v. West Virginia -10 | Top | 85-80 | Loss | -104 | 2 h 47 m | Show |
Oklahoma State Cowboys are 17-7 S/U and 14-9-1 ATS on the season. The Cowboys are coming off a loss at Baylor, 70-81 as a 12.5 point dog. They have won five of their last six and covered five in a row. One issue though will be the availability of Guard Cade Cunningham, who is questionable today for the Cowboys with a ankle injury. West Virginia is 18-7 S/U and 13-12 ATS on the season. The Mountaineers are coming off a win over TCU, 76-67, but failed to cover the 13-point line. They are now 4-1 ATS in their last five games and 6-2 ATS in their last eight games. I'll lay the points with West Virginia here today. |
03-04-21 | Northern Colorado v. Weber State -10 | Top | 59-60 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 36 m | Show |
The Northern Colorado Bears could fall back to the .500 mark with a loss here tonight at Weber State. The Bears are coming off a loss to Portland State, 65-73 as a 2-point home favorite. Weber State is having a fine season at 16-5 S/U and 14-4 ATS on the year. The Wildcats are a perfect 10-0 S/U at home and 7-0 ATS. The Cats have also won five straight games and nine of their last 10 while covering eight of those games. Weber is 13-2 ATS in their last 15 home games vs Northern Colorado. I'll lay the points here tonight with Weber State. |
03-02-21 | Marquette -5.5 v. DePaul | Top | 77-71 | Win | 100 | 10 h 48 m | Show |
The Marquette Golden Eagles are 11-13 S/U and 9-15 ATS on the season. The Eagles are 5-6 S/U and 4-7 ATS on the road. Marquette had its two game win streak snapped last game at U Conn, 62-80 as a 7-point dog. The Eagles have covered four of their last six overall. Depaul just 4-12 S/U and 7-9 ATS on the season. The Blue Demons are 2-7 S/U and 3-6 ATS at home. The Demons have lost two straight games and seven of their last 10. Marquette laying 5.5 points on the road here tonight. They are 8-4 ATS their last 12 times laying these points. Depaul has covered the last three in this series, including their game back on Jan 23 where they won at Marquette, 68-61 as a 9-point dog. Still, Marquette has covered six of the last 11 in the series and 10 of the last 18 in Depaul. Take Marquette here tonight. |
03-02-21 | Xavier -2.5 v. Georgetown | Top | 66-72 | Loss | -108 | 8 h 48 m | Show |
The Xavier Musketeers are 13-5 S/U and 8-9 ATS on the season. The Musketeers are also 2-3 S/U and 3-2 ATS on the road. Xavier is coming off a win at home over Creighton, 77-69 as a 4-point dog. The Georgetown Hoyas are 8-11 S/U and 11-8 ATS on the season. The Hoyas are 6-6 S/U and 7-5 ATS at home. They are coming off a win over Depaul, 68-60 and have covered three of the last four and seven of their last nine games. Xavier is 10-5 ATS in their last 15 vs Georgetown. They are also 5-3 ATS at Georgetown. Georgetown has not played Xavier since just before Covid stopped the season last year. I will take the visitor in this one. Play Xavier. |
03-01-21 | North Carolina v. Syracuse +2 | Top | 70-72 | Win | 100 | 8 h 35 m | Show |
North Carolina Tar Heels are 15-8 S/U and 10-12-1 ATS on the season. The Tar Heels are just 3-6 S/U and 2-7 ATS on the road this year. They are coming off a home win over Florida State, 78-70 and a loss before that vs Marquette, 70-83. Syracuse Orange are 13-8 S/U and 8-13 ATS on the season. The Orange are 11-1 S/U and 6-6 at home. The line her today makes NCU a slight favorite. Considering the Orange are 11-1 S/U at home and NCU has a losing record on the road, I'll take the home team today. Play Syracuse. |
02-28-21 | North Dakota State -1 v. South Dakota | Top | 89-77 | Win | 100 | 5 h 42 m | Show |
The South Dakota Coyotes where having a decent season at 13-9 S/U and 9-11-1 ATS. They have won two straight games, the last over today's North Dakota State team, 80-71, covering the 1.5 point spread. However, they could be without their best player here today in AJ Plitzuweit who was injured and likely out the rest of the season in the N.Dakota State win. The Coyotes are only one win away from the Summit league title and No 1 seed in their conference tournament. But the loss of Plitzuweit to a knee injury has really put a damper on their season. AJ Plitzuweit average 19 points per game this year and was injured late in their game. This is a huge loss for the Coyotes, one I am not sure they can rebound from. Perfect situation for North Dakota State to get the win here today. |
02-27-21 | Missouri State -5 v. Evansville | Top | 63-72 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 17 m | Show |
The Missouri State Bears improved to 15-5 last night with a win over this same Evansville team. The Bears shot nearly 70% from the field en route to their 90-81 win. They also hit 68% from 3-point arc. The defense could do better though, allowing 51% from the field and 47.6% from 3-point arc to Evansville. Still, it was the team's seventh straight win and they are 6-0-1 ATS during that streak. Evansville lost its seven in a row and is 2-4-1 during that span. I don't see anything changing here on Saturday. Play Missouri State. |
02-26-21 | Drake -8.5 v. Bradley | Top | 80-71 | Win | 100 | 8 h 39 m | Show |
The Drake Bulldogs looking forward to an NCAA bid with their fine 23-2 S/U record. They have also been very good to bettors with a 17-4-1 ATS mark. The Bulldogs are 8-1 S/U and 6-2 ATS on the road this year. They have won four straight and are 3-0-1 ATS in their last four. The Bradley Braves had a good start to the season but have fallen on hard times of late. The Braves are 11-14 S/U and 6-13-3 ATS on the season. They have lost three straight games both S/U and ATS. The Braves are also 2-10 S/U and 1-9-2 their last 12 games. Drake is laying 8.5 points on the road here tonight but they should be up to covering that number. Play Drake. |
02-25-21 | Robert Morris v. Detroit -10 | Top | 73-83 | Push | 0 | 7 h 25 m | Show |
Horizon League tournament action begins here tonight. The games are hosted by the home teams here with no neutral court. Robert Morris plays at Detroit in first round action here tonight. Robert Morris likely will see its season come to an end here tonight. The Colonials are just 4-14 S/U on the season and have no postseason in their futures. This will also be the third straight game against Detroit as they lost the first two at Detroit, 61-80 and 74-85, failing to cover both as 9-pint dogs. Here tonight they get a few more points to 10.5 points. The Detroit Titans are 11-9 S/U and 12-8 ATS on the season. They have won two straight and eight of their nine games both S/U and ATS. Detroit will take its third from RM here tonight. Play Detroit. |
02-24-21 | Xavier -1.5 v. Providence | Top | 68-83 | Loss | -106 | 8 h 42 m | Show |
The Xavier Musketeers are 12-4 S/U and 7-8 ATS on the season. The Musketeers are also 2-2 S/U and 3-1 ATS on the road this season. Xavier coming off a win at home over Butler, 63-51, but failing to cover the 12.5 point spread. Still, the Musketeers are 7-2 ATS in their last nine games overall and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 road games. The Providence Friars look to keep from falling below .500 here today as they sit at 11-11 S/U and 9-12 ATS. The Friars are 6-2 S/U and 4-4 ATS at home. The Friars are coming off a loss at U Conn, 61-73. They are 3-8 S/U in their last 11 games and 5-6 ATS. Providence hasn't been very good in the role of a home dog, going 3-8 ATS the last 11 tries. The road team has covered five of the last seven in this series and that's who I will be on here today. Play Xavier. |

The Sacramento Kings are 12-18 S/U and 13-17 ATS on the season. The Kings are 5-7 S/U and 7-5 ATS on the road. The Kings are in a bad slump, going 0-7 S/U and ATS in their last seven games. While the Kings are in a midst of a losing streak, the Nets are in a winning streak. They have won six games both S/U and ATS. The Nets have also covered 10 of the last 12 meetings with the Kings in Brooklyn and are 20-8 ATS in their last 28 overall with the Kings. Lay the points here tonight. Play Brooklyn. |

The Pepperdine Waves saw their three game win streak snapped last time out at Santa Clara, 82-86. The Waves will play St Mary's for the 2nd time in their last three games. The Knicks are 7-6 S/U and 7-5-1 ATS at home. New York saw its three game win streak snapped last time out at Orlando, 89-107. The Knicks are 5-2 ATS in their last seven home games. I like the Knicks here tonight on their home court. Play New York. |
02-20-21 | Illinois v. Minnesota +4.5 | Top | 94-63 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 42 m | Show |
Big 10 action here on Saturday as Illinois plays at Minnesota. Illinois Fighting Illini are 15-5 S/U and 11-8 ATS on the season. They are 5-2 S/U and 4-3 ATS on the road. They are just 3-3 in the role of an away favorite like they are today. The Illini have won six straight games and gone 4-2 ATS during that stretch, though they have failed to cover their last two games. The Minnesota Golden Gophers are 13-9 S/U and 12-10 ATS on the season. They are 13-1 S/U at home with a nice 11-3 ATS mark. They have only been home dogs four times and they are 4-0 both S/U and ATS when installed as the home dog as they are today. This Minnesota team is just a different team on the road as opposed to at home. I look for a straight-up home win here today, but will gladly take the points. Play Minnesota. |
02-19-21 | South Dakota State v. North Dakota State -1 | Top | 68-67 | Loss | -109 | 9 h 47 m | Show |
South Dakota State Jackrabbits hit the road to play their neighbors, North Dakota State. The Jackrabbits are 12-5 S/U and 9-7 ATS on the season. They have split their last four games as they come off a win at Oral Roberts, 95-80. The North Dakota State Bison are 11-9 on the season and 12-7 ATS. They are 5-2 S/U at home with a 3-3 spread mark. The Bison are coming off a loss at Oral Roberts, 74-80. The Bison are also 6-1 ATS in their last seven games against a winning team. The home team has covered five of the last seven meetings in this series and I'll take them here tonight. Play North Dakota State. |
02-18-21 | Jacksonville State v. Belmont OVER 150 | Top | 59-63 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 14 m | Show |
Jacksonville State is 14-7 S/U and 10-6-3 ATS on the season. The Gamecocks have won four straight games both S/U and ATS. They have also been a very good over team with two straight overs and eight of the last nine games going over. Belmont having a great season with a 22-1 S/U and 15-6-1 ATS records. The Bruins have also gone over in three of their last four games and eight of their last 11 games. This should be a good game with lots of points. I won't make a play on the side, but I'll be on the OVER. |
02-15-21 | Cavs v. Warriors -8.5 | Top | 98-129 | Win | 100 | 11 h 14 m | Show |
Cleveland has to be road weary here tonight having played their fifth game tonight on the road. In addition, they are playing back-to-back nights after playing at the Clippers last night and getting blown out, 111-128. It's also the team's third game in four nights. The Cavs how now lost seven straight games and have failed to cover in their last nine games. The Cavs are also 1-10 ATS in their last 11 road games and 0-7 ATS their last seven as a road dog. Golden State saw its two game win streak snapped on Saturday against Brooklyn, 117-134. They are now 14-13 S/U and 13-14 ATS on the season. The Warriors are 4-1 ATS their last five as a favorite. The Warriors are also 5-1 ATS in their last six meetings with the Cavs. Cleveland will be anxious to return home after this horrendous run. Play Golden State. |
02-14-21 | Cavs v. Clippers -11 | Top | 111-128 | Win | 100 | 10 h 16 m | Show |
The Cleveland Cavaliers look to snap a six game losing streak here tonight in LA. That will be a tough task against this Clipper team. The Cavs are also just 1-8 S/U and 0-9 ATS in their last nine games. The news isn't much better for Cleveland on the road where they are 3-10 both S/U and ATS. Meanwhile, the Clippers have won two straight games and are 6-3 S/U their last nine games. In addition, the Clippers are 4-0 ATS in their last four meeting with the Cavaliers in LA. I don't have much faith in this Cavs team, especially on the road. I'm looking for a Clippers blowout late here on Sunday. Play LA Clippers. |
02-13-21 | Villanova v. Creighton +3 | Top | 70-86 | Win | 100 | 14 h 37 m | Show |
Excellent matchup here today as a pair of Big East clash as Villanova takes on Creighton. The Villanova Wildcats are 13-2 S/U and 9-6 ATS overall on the season. The Cats are 4-1 S/U and ATS on the road. Meanwhile, Creighton is 15-5 S/U and 9-11 ATS on the season. The Blue Jays are 8-3 S/U and 5-6 ATS at home. However, this will be the first time this season that Creighton will installed as the dog at home. Villanova right now sitting as a 3-point road favorite. For me, Creighton might just be a shade below Villanova in talent, but getting points at home with a quality team like the BlueJays is too much to pass on. The dog has covered the last five games in this series and that's who I will be on here today. Play Creighton. |
02-12-21 | Georgia Tech v. Clemson -3.5 | Top | 72-74 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 36 m | Show |
The Clemson Tigers are 12-5 S/U on the season with a 10-7 ATS mark. The Tigers have won and covered two straight games including their last game vs Syracuse, 78-61. The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets are just 9-7 S/U and 7-9 ATS on their season. The team is just 1-4 S/U and 2-3 ATS on the road this season including losses in both of their last away games at Duke and Virginia. Clemson has been very good at home, going 8-1 S/U and 7-2 ATS in their nine games. Big difference between GT away and Clemson at home. I'll take the host in this one. Play Clemson. |
02-11-21 | Magic v. Warriors -8 | Top | 105-111 | Loss | -105 | 11 h 23 m | Show |
The Orlando Magic near the bottom of the Eastern Conference, just three up from the bottom with a 9-16 overall record. They have lost two straight and eight of their last 10 games. The Magic have covered just one of their last five road games and are 1-6 their last seven as a dog. The Warriors are 13-12 both S/U and ATS. They are coming off a win at San Antonio, 114-91. The Warriors have covered four of their last five as a home favorite. I'll lay the points here tonight with the hosts. Play Golden State. |
02-07-21 | Drexel v. Hofstra -3.5 | Top | 74-79 | Win | 100 | 3 h 45 m | Show |
These teams met yesterday at Hofstra with the Drexel Dragons taking a close game, 73-71 as a 3.5-point road dog. Drexel won by just two points even though they shot 62% from the field and held Hofstra to 37%. You would think with that kind of differential the score would have been much more in the Dragons favor. Drexel also shot 62.5% from the 3-point stripe while holding Hofstra to just 43%. So here we are today, Drexel too game one on the road, way out shot Hofstra and yet narrowly won by just two points. I look for Hofstra to bounce back in a big way here today. This one might not be close. Play Hofstra. |
02-06-21 | Tennessee v. Kentucky +4 | Top | 82-71 | Loss | -114 | 8 h 2 m | Show |
The Tennessee Volunteers dropped to 12-4 S/U with a loss at Ole Miss last Tuesday, 50-52 as a 3.5-point favorite. The Vols are just 2-3 S/U and 1-4 ATS over their last five games. Now they have to play at Kentucky. The Wildcats having a very off season at just 5-11 and have lost five of their last six games. The Cats are 3-3 S/U and 2-4 ATS at home this season. Kentucky is also just 4-5 in the SEC this season. We have to give the Cats a bit of a pass though, having played the nation's 7th toughest schedule. With Tennessee winning just one road game since December and now they are laying points. I'll take Kentucky here today. Play Kentucky |
02-05-21 | Jazz v. Hornets +8.5 | Top | 138-121 | Loss | -108 | 8 h 16 m | Show |
Utah Jazz improved to 17-5 S/U and 15-7 ATS on the season with their win Thursday night at Atlanta, 112-91. It was the team's second straight win and their 13th in their last 14 games. They are playing back-to-back nights though, which is always tough. The Charlotte Hornets are 10-12 S/U and 12-10 ATS on the season. The Hornets have won three of tehir last four games both S/U and ATS. The Hornets had last night off after losing to Philly on Wednesday night, 111-118. The Hornets are also 9-2-1 ATS in their last 12 games as a home dog. Not easy to play the 2nd of a back-to-back spot like the Jazz are doing tonight. I'll take the generous points with the host here. Play Charlotte. |
02-04-21 | Austin Peay v. Eastern Kentucky -2 | Top | 94-79 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 10 m | Show |
The Austin Peay Governors are 10-6 S/U and 6-7 ATS on the season. The Governors are also 4-1 S/U and 3-1 ATS on the road. They have won two straight games including Monday's win over Southern Illinois, 74-59. They have already played Eastern Kentucky once this year, back on January 2nd, a 75-80 loss at home as a 4.5-point favorite. The Eastern Kentucky Colonels are 14-2 S/U and 10-2-2 ATS on the season. The Colonels are having a fine season, undefeated at home with a 8-0 S/U mark and 3-1-2 ATS record. They have won nine straight games. They are also 6-0-2 ATS in their last eight games. I really like this Eastern Kentucky team and will lay the points with them here tonight. Play Eastern Kentucky. |
02-03-21 | Virginia -6.5 v. NC State | Top | 64-57 | Win | 100 | 9 h 20 m | Show |
Virginia Cavaliers having a excellent season at 11-3 S/U and 7-6 ATS on the season. The Cavs will look to rebound from a loss though, having lost at Virginia Tech last time out, 51-65 as a 5-point favorite. That was the Cavs first loss in four road games both S/U and vs the number. The Cavs continue to be one of the best covering road teams, now 30-13-1 in their last 44 away games. The NC State Wolfpack are 7-6 S/U and 5-8 ATS on their season. The Pack have lost five of their last six games including last time out at Syracuse, 73-76. They have also covered just one of their last seven games and two fo the last 10. I look for Virginia to bounce back here tonight with a win and cover. Play Virginia. |
02-02-21 | Pistons v. Jazz -12 | Top | 105-117 | Push | 0 | 9 h 24 m | Show |

Jazz have also covered seven of their last nine meetings with the Jazz. That's what I'm sticking with here tonight. Play the Jazz. |
01-30-21 | Ball State v. Akron -4.5 | Top | 42-74 | Win | 100 | 13 h 32 m | Show |
MAC action here early on Saturday has Ball State at Akron. Ball State Cardinals dropped below .500 as they have lost their last two games to 6-7 on the season. They are also 5-7 vs the number. Ball State has now lost four of their last six games. The Akron Zips have improved to 9-3 as they ride a five-game win streak into today's contest. The Zips have also covered five straight. Akron is a perfect 7-0 S/U and 5-0 ATS at home. I like the Zips here at home as they stay perfect. Play Akron. |
01-29-21 | Bucks v. Pelicans OVER 229.5 | Top | 126-131 | Win | 100 | 8 h 0 m | Show |
The Milwuakee Bucks are 11-6 S/U and 8-9 ATS on the season. They have won two straight games including their last at Toronto, 115-108 as a 6-point favorite. The Bucks have really trended toward if their star players are in the game or not. With the shortened schedules this year we will see more resting. That's not the case tonight as all the players will be available. The New Orleans Pelicans are 6-10 S/U and ATS ont he season. They are 10-6 Over/Under on the year. This has been a very good over team, evidenced by their 5-0 O/U record their last five at home; 10-1 over/under in their last 11 overall. The over has also been good in this series with seven of the last eight meetings going over and four of the last five in New Orleans going over. That's my play today, Play OVER. |
01-27-21 | Stephen F Austin +3 v. Abilene Christian | Top | 62-82 | Loss | -111 | 5 h 59 m | Show |
Stephen Austin Lumberjacks are 9-2 S/U and 3-4-1 ATS this season. They have won six straight games and covered three of their last four. The Jacks were preseason favorites to win the Southland conference and thus far they haven't disappointed. They are 5-0 in conference and only Sam Houston is also undefeated at 6-0. Meanwhile, Abilene Christian is 4-1 in conference play and nipping at the leader's heals. The Wildcats are 12-3 S/U and 7-3 ATS on the season. They are off a win over Central Arkansas, 93-58. Austin getting some points here tonight looks good to me. I'll take Stephen Austin and the points. |
01-26-21 | Drake -3.5 v. Missouri State | Top | 68-61 | Win | 100 | 9 h 25 m | Show |
Missouri Valley conference titans meet here tonight at the JQH Arena as Drake takes on Missouri State. Drake is 13-0 S/U and 11-0 ATS and plays for the first time in about three weeks due to COVID issues in their program. Drake has been shooting lights out, averaging 83.9 ppg and 53.5% shooting from the field. Missouri State looks to blemish that Drake perfect record here tonight. Mo State is 9-1 S/U and 7-1 ATS on the season. The Bears lone loss coming at Northern Iowa, 75-85. The Bears also a very good scoring team with a 81.3 ppg average on 50.7% from the field. I've done well with Drake all season and I will stick with them here tonight in what will be one of their smallest lines. Play Drake. |
01-25-21 | Lakers v. Cavs UNDER 213 | Top | 115-108 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 52 m | Show |
The Cleveland Cavaliers are 8-8 S/U and ATS to start their season. They played last night at Boston and were never in the game, losing 103-141 to the Celtics. Now they have to play their second game in a row against the LA Lakers. The Lakers are 13-4 S/U and 11-10-1 ATS on their season. The Lakers have been a very good under team this year, evidenced by their 7-15 O/U mark. They are even more of an under team on the road where they are 1-8 O/U on the season. Cleveland will likely be tired after Boston ran up 141 points on them last night. That coupled with the excellent under record of the Lakers and I'll look for a lower scoring game here tonight. Play UNDER. |
01-23-21 | Arkansas State v. UL - Lafayette -10 | Top | 74-77 | Loss | -108 | 6 h 14 m | Show |
Sun Belt action here on Saturday has 5-7 Arkansas State taking on 10-4 UL Lafayette. These teams are playing the 2nd of their back-to-back series with Lafayette taking the first game, 81-68 as a 9-point favorite. It was the Indians third loss in their last five games. Moreover, the Indians are now 0-6 S/U and 0-5-1 ATS on the road. Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns improved to 10-4 S/U and 5-5-2 ATS with that win. They are 8-2 S/U and 4-2-2 ATS at home this season. The favorite has covered four of the last five in this series and I don't see that changing here today. Arkansas State will still be looking for that first win on the road when this one is done. Play UL Lafayette. |
01-22-21 | Rockets v. Pistons UNDER 215.5 | Top | 103-102 | Win | 100 | 7 h 9 m | Show |
The Houston Rockets are just 4-9 S/U and ATS here on the season. The Rockets have lost three straight games and five of their last six overall. They have also covered just once in their last five games. They have also gone under in four of the last five. The Detroit Pistons are 3-11 S/U and 7-6-1 ATS on the season. The Pistons are also 2-5 S/U and 4-3 ATS at home along with going under in five of their seven home games. I'm looking at the under here tonight. The Rockets are 5-15-1 O/U/P in their last 21 overall. This series has gone under in five of the last seven meetings. I look for this game to go UNDER. |
01-21-21 | Pelicans v. Jazz -7 | Top | 118-129 | Win | 101 | 10 h 11 m | Show |
The New Orleans Pelicans are 5-8 S/U and ATS on the young season. The Pelicans have been in a drought of late, winning just one of their last seven games. They are also 2-5 ATS during that span. They are playing the second of a back-to-back spot here in Utah. The Jazz took game one 118-102 on Tuesday. The Jazz are now 10-4 S/U and 9-5 ATS on the season. They have won six straight games both S/U and ATS. We have a hot team in Utah playing a cold team in New Orleans here tonight. I'll lay the points with the Jazz and look for repeat of Tuesday's contest. Play Utah. |
01-20-21 | Clemson -1.5 v. Georgia Tech | Top | 65-83 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 59 m | Show |
Clemson Tigers are 9-2 S/U and 7-4 ATS this season. They are 1-1 S/U and 0-2 ATS on the road. The Tigers are coming off a home loss to Virginia 50-85 as a 2-point dog. That loss snapped a four game winning streak. The Tigers are also 7-2-1 ATS in their last 10 games against a team with a win percentage of 60% or more. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets are 6-3 S/U and 4-5 ATS on their season. The Jackets are 4-2 S/U and 2-4 ATS at home. Clemson set as a small road favorite here tonight. I like the road team in this matchup. Play Clemson. |
01-15-21 | Old Dominion v. Rice +3.5 | Top | 59-69 | Win | 100 | 2 h 25 m | Show |
The Old Dominion Monarchs are 7-3 S/U and 3-5-0 ATS on the season. They have won three straight games and are 2-1 ATS during that streak. Still, they are not a good covering team with just two of their last four spread games being wins. ODU a road favorite here today, something they have not historically been good at. They are just 4-10 ATS in their last 14 as a road chalk. They are also 4-11 ATS in their last 15 overall games. The Rice Owls are 9-3 S/U and 6-4 ATS on the season. They are 4-1 both S/U and ATS in their last five games and 5-1 S/U and 3-2 ATS at home. The Owls are 11-5-1 in their last 17 games vs a team with a win percentage over 60%. The dog in this series is 4-0 ATS the last four meetings and that's who I'm taking here today. Play Rice. |
01-14-21 | San Diego State +1.5 v. Utah State | Top | 45-57 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 49 m | Show |
San Diego State Aztecs are 9-2 S/U and 5-5 ATS after 11 games. They are coming off a sweep of Nevada at home, 69-67 and 65-60, failing to cover both wins. They are now 7-2 S/U and 3-5 ATS at home. This team is very good defensively, as usual. They have allowed 70 points or more just two times this year; first in a loss at Colorado State, 67-70 and at home in a loss to BYU, 62-72. Not surprisingly, their two losses have come in those games. The Utah State Aggies are 9-3 S/U and 8-3 ATS on the season. The Aggies just swept New Mexico in a 2-game series, outscoring them 159-91 in the process. This Aggies team can score and that will be put to the test here tonight. This looks to be a defensive game and the best opponent Utah State has faced thus far. I'll take the visitor in this one. Take San Diego State. |
01-13-21 | Louisville v. Wake Forest +8 | Top | 77-65 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 18 m | Show |
The Louisville Cardinals are 8-1 S/U and 4-4-1 ATS on the season. The Cardinals lone loss this year coming at the hands of Wisconsin, 48-85 as a 10.5-point dog. They are coming off a win at home over Virginia Tech, 73-71, but failed to cover the 3.5-point line. The Wake Forest Demon Deacons are 3-3 S/U and 3-2 ATS on the season. The Deacons have lost three straight games, but covered two of those. They are coming off a loss at Duke, 68-79 as a 14.5-point dog. Wake is 3-0 S/U and 1-1 ATS at home this season. Louisville is only 2-5 ATS in their last seven road games while Wake is 7-3 ATS at home in their last 10 games. Wake getting around 8-points at home here tonight. I look for the home team to put up a good fight. Play Wake Forest. |
01-08-21 | Northern Kentucky v. Cleveland State -1.5 | Top | 44-58 | Win | 100 | 6 h 41 m | Show |
Northern Kentucky Norse are 5-4 S/U and 3-4-1 ATS on the season. The Norse have won two straight games, both against IUPU-Fort Worth by scores of 70-68 and 75-68. They hit the road here today where they are 0-3 S/U and 1-1 ATS on the season. Cleveland State Vikings are 6-3 S/U and 6-1-1 ATS on the season. The Vikings have won six in a row after starting the season 0-3. They have also covered their last six games. At home they are 2-0 both S/U and ATS. Cleveland State also sits atop the Horizon conference standings with a 6-0 conference record, while Northern Kentuky is 4th at 3-1. I like the home team here today. Play Cleveland State. |
01-06-21 | St. John's v. Xavier -6.5 | Top | 61-69 | Win | 100 | 7 h 10 m | Show |
The St Johns Red Storm are 6-4 S/U and 4-6 ATS thus far on the season. The broke a three game losing streak with a win at home over Georgetown, 94-83. They were also riding a four game spread losing streak that was broken. St Johns hasn't been a good road team, evidenced by their 6-13-1 ATS road record in their last 20 games. The Xavier Musketeers are 8-2 S/U and 5-4 ATS on the season. They look to break a two-game losing streak here tonight after loss at home to Seton Hall and at Creighton. Still, the Musketeers are 5-1 ATS in their last six games. The favorite is 4-1-1 ATS the last six meetings. For me, I'm taking the favorite Xavier side here. Play Xavier. |
01-05-21 | Kansas v. TCU UNDER 139 | Top | 93-64 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 22 m | Show |
Kansas Jayhawks are 8-2 S/U and 4-5 ATS on the season. The Jayhawks are also 4-5 O/U on the season. They have played very good defense, allowing over 39% shooting from the field just four of their nine games. They did go over their last game at Texas, but scored just 58 points. It was the 84 points by Texas that put that one over. Still, they have held five of their seven opponents to 65 or fewer points. TCU is 9-2 S/U 4-61 ATS on the season. The Horned Frogs are 6-5 O/U on the season. They have gone under in their last two games, a 67-60 win at Kansas State and a 66-61 win at home over Prairie View. I'm going to go with the UNDER here today. I like Kansas to keep this more a defensive battle and slow the pace. Play UNDER. |

01-04-21 | Wyoming v. Fresno State -2.5 | Top | 61-81 | Win | 100 | 10 h 42 m | Show |
The Wyoming Cowboys are 7-1 S/U and 4-4 ATS to start the season. In this Covid era, teams are playing back-to-back against their conference opponents and that's what we have here tonight. The Cowboys just played at Fresno on Saturday and won, 78-74. They shot over 40% from the 3-point stripe. The win was the team's 6th in a row. The Fresno State Bulldogs are just 2-3 S/U on the season and 0-3 ATS. The Bulldogs lost both games to Colorado State by a 156-112 margin. So here we are again tonight, looking for the Dogs to lost their fourth straight to just two opponents. They played much better against the Cowboys though, just losing as a 2-point favorite. Tonight they are 3-point favorites. That's because the Cowboys not exactly as good as CSU is this year. I look for Fresno to win this game tonight as I don't see them losing to an equal opponent for the 2nd straight time on their home court. Play Fresno. |
12-30-20 | SE Missouri State v. Tennessee Tech | Top | 63-72 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 22 m | Show |
SE Missouri State Indians not off to a good start at just 2-5 S/U, but they are 5-2 ATS. They have lost four straight games S/U but are 3-1 in their last four and 4-1 ATS in their last five games. The Indians have also been dogs in every game but one. That one game happens to be their only loss to the spread in the last five games. Tennessee Tech looking for its first win of the season against nine losses. In addition, the Golden Eagles are just 3-6 ATS on the season. This team has been within six point just once in their last four games. In fact, they have been blown out in most of their games. Mo State laying one just means we need to win here today. I look for them to send Tenn Tech to 0-10 after today's game. Play SE Missouri State. |
12-29-20 | Purdue v. Rutgers -3 | Top | 76-81 | Win | 100 | 8 h 12 m | Show |
Purdue hits the road here for their second straight away game, tonight at Rutgers. The Boilermakers are 7-3 S/U and 3-6-1 ATS thus far on the season. They have yet to win on the road, going 0-2 both S/U and ATS. Their margin of loss on the road has also been -9.5 points. Rutgers has been a nice surprise this year, posting a 6-1 S/U and 3-3-1 ATS mark on the season. They are also 5-0 S/U at home and 2-2-1 vs the number. They had a nice win over highly ranked Illinois, 91-88 as a 4.5 point dog. They also have quality wins over Maryland and Syracuse. Their only loss coming in their last game at Ohio Sate, 68-80. I like the Scarlet Knights here at home, especially against a Purdue team that has struggled on the road. Play Rutgers. |
12-28-20 | Drake -4 v. Indiana State | Top | 73-66 | Win | 100 | 6 h 53 m | Show |
One of the two earlier games going here on Monday has Drake, playing once again at Indiana State. In this Covid year the NCAA has teams that normally would play two times a year spread out, now they must play back-to-back. Yesterday, Drake beat Indiana State handily, 81-63. It was close at the half, but the Bulldogs pulled away in the 2nd half for the win. They are now a perfect 10-0 S/U and 7-0 ATS on the season. This team has been very good and they get another shot here today at the Sycamores. Indiana State is just 3-3 S/U and 2-3 ATS on the season. Their two game win streak snapped by Drake here on Sunday. What's the saying, if it ain't broke, don't fix it? Well, Drake should have little trouble against here today keeping their perfect record in tact. Play Drake. |
12-21-20 | Murray State -3 v. Austin Peay | Top | 70-74 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 33 m | Show |
Murray State Racers come into tonight's contest with a 4-2 S/U and 1-2-1 ATS mark. The Racers are coming off a blood thirsty blowout win over Transylvania, 90-49. Their two losses have come at the hands of Southern Illinois, 66-70, and Mid Tenn State, 61-78. You can't count their win over Greenville where they scored 173 points. I think that is a no go there. Austin Peay Governors are 4-3 S/U and 0-4 ATS. The Governors have losses to Florida A&M, Murray State and Abilene Christian. They lost to this Racers team back on Dec 8th, 57-87, at Murray State. Murray hit 59.6% from the field and 40% from 3-point line. Don't think we'll see the same results here today, but I still like Murray State. |
12-17-20 | Long Island -5 v. Sacred Heart | Top | 72-87 | Loss | -103 | 6 h 53 m | Show |
LIU Brooklyn Sharks have just one game played thus far and that was a 75-55 win over this Sacred Heart team as a 3.5 point favorite. The Sharks return four starters to a team that was 15-18 overall last year and 9-9 in the Northeast Conference. This team was favored to win the conference last year, but many injuries derailed that goal. This team loves to run, evidenced by their 23rd fast tempo in college last season. If HC Kellogg can keep this team healthy with four starters back, they may just reach that goal of conference champs this year. The Covid season has seen schedules change, and one thing are these back-to-back games we are seeing. With these teams having just met, they meet again here tonight. Sacred Heart is 0-2 S/U and 1-1 ATS on the season. They opened with a loss at Rutgers, 63-86, but covered the 27-point dog line. Then they lost to this Brooklyn team by 20 points at Long Island. I don't see a change here tonight though the venue is different. Another Brooklyn win and cover. Take LIU Brooklyn. |
12-16-20 | North Carolina-Asheville v. Chattanooga -5.5 | Top | 66-69 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 32 m | Show |
UNC Asheville Bulldogs are 3-2 S/U and 3-1 ATS on the season. The Bulldogs have back-to-back wins over High Point. They also have their third win over South Carolina State, 77-56, as a 15-point favorite. The two losses coming against Western Carolina, 81-83, and UNC Wilmington, 68-76. Chattanooga Mocs are a perfect 5-0 on the season. They are 2-0 ATS in their only two board games. That includes a win over Mid Tenn State, 80-70 and at Tennessee Tech, 62-54. Chattanooga the much better talented team here today. Asheville also will possibly be without guard Devon Baker here today who is questionable. Baker averaged 16.5 points over his last 31 games. I'll gladly lay the points at home with Chattanooga here today. |
12-15-20 | Georgia Tech +8 v. Florida State | Top | 61-74 | Loss | -104 | 8 h 27 m | Show |
Georgia Tech comes into tonight's contest at 2-2 S/U and ATS. After starting the season 0-2, the Yellow Jackets have responded with a pair of wins over Kentucky and Nebraska. Florida State is 3-0 S/U and 2-1 ATS on the season. The Seminoles returned three starters to their team that was 26-5 overall last year and 1st in the ACC with a 16-4 record. FSU is not expected to contend for the ACC crown this year. They blend a mix of newcomers and veterans. Florida State laying around 8-points here tonight looks to be a bit too much for me. Georgia tech playing much better and should give the Seminoles all they can handle here tonight. Play Georgia Tech. |
12-11-20 | Marquette +4.5 v. UCLA | Top | 60-69 | Loss | -108 | 11 h 33 m | Show |
The Marquette Eagles are 4-1 S/U and 3-2 ATS to start the season as they head West to take on the UCLA Bruins. Marquette coming off a win over Wisconsin Green Bay, 82-68, but failed to cover the 20-point line. Marquette also has a huge win over Wisconsin, 67-65 as a 3.5-point dog. Their only loss coming at the hands of Oklahoma State, 62-70. UCLA also 4-1 S/U and ATS on the season. The Bruins are coming off a win over San Diego, 83-56 as 20-point favorites. The only loss was on opening night at San Diego State, 58-73 as they shot a season low 39% from the field. UCLA laying 4 1/2 point here tonight at home to Marquette. These teams looks pretty equal across the board and without fans in the stadium I'm going to take the points here tonight. Play Marquette. |
12-09-20 | SE Missouri State +8 v. Lipscomb | Top | 74-80 | Win | 100 | 8 h 53 m | Show |
Se Missouri State Indians are 2-1 S/U and 2-2 ATS on the young season. The Indians are playing a back-to-back series with Lipscomb here today. These teams met at Missouri State on Monday with the Indians coming out on top 82-77 as a 4-point dog. In fact, Missouri State has scored over 71 points in all three games. The Lipscomb Bisons are 1-4 S/U and ATS so far in five games. The Bisons were favored at Tulane and lost 66-68 and also at Lamar and won 76-73 in their opener, but failed to cover the 8.5 points spread. Now here we find a 1-4 team laying 7.5-points at home to a decent Missouri State team. Not sure what the oddsmakers had in mind here, but a straight-up win by SE Missouri State isn't out of the question. Play the visitor here, play SE Missouri State. |
12-04-20 | Oregon v. Seton Hall +3.5 | Top | 83-70 | Loss | -102 | 8 h 19 m | Show |
Oregon has only one game played and that was a loss to Missouri, 75-83 as a 3-point favorite. The Ducks have just two starters back to their PAC-12 conference winning team from last year that finished 24-7 overall and 13-5 in the conference. Despite just two returns to the starting lineup, this will be a team with lots of combined experience and should be loaded once again. The fine tuning to get the right combinations will come early and thus their loss to Missouri. That might just happen again here tonight as they continue to find the winning adjustments. Seton Hall is 1-2 S/U and 2-1 ATS thus far. The Pirates covered their first two games against Iona and Louisville. They lost last time out and failed to cover the spread against Rhode Island, 63-76. Seton Hall has two starters back to a 21-9 team from last year. They tied for 1st in the Big East with a 13-5 record, first time doing this since 1993. Seton Hall has posted 20-win seasons the last five years. Seton Hall might not have the senior talent it had last year, but they have the pieces to be very good and get those 20 wins again this season. Tonight, I'm taking Seton Hall as Oregon still finding it's right combinations. Play Seton Hall. |
12-02-20 | Providence +2.5 v. Alabama | Top | 71-88 | Loss | -105 | 5 h 54 m | Show |
Providence has opened the season with a 2-1 record S/U and 0-2 record vs the spread. The Friars are coming off a win over Davidson, 63-62 as a 1.5 point favorite. They led the entire game over Davidson and only failed to cover the spread in the last minute. A lot was expected out of Alabama this year and thus far it's been mixed results. They opened with a win over Jackonsville, 81-57 and then got whipped by Stanford, 64-82. The rebounded last night with a win over UNLV, 86-74, pushing the 12-point line. However, they trailed the entire first half and only came on the second half. I'm not as impressed with this Alabama team as I expected to be. I'm going to take Providence here today. |
12-01-20 | Western Kentucky +4 v. Louisville | Top | 54-75 | Loss | -108 | 6 h 7 m | Show |
: Get some Kentucky action here this afternoon as Western Kentucky looks for some bragging rights and recruiting edges as they go up against instate rival Louisville. The Hilltoppers are 2-1 S/U and ATS thus far with a pair of nice wins over Northern Iowa (93-87) and over Memphis (75-69), covering both. They did lose last time out to West Virginia, 64-70 and just failed to cover the 5.5 point dog spread. Louisville is 3-0 S/U and 1-2 ATS thus far. The Cardinals beat Evansville, 79-44, then just got by Seton Hall, 71-70, before cruising to a win over Prairie View A&M, 86-64. Louisville returns four starters from last year's team that went 24-7 overall. The Cardinals always play tough non-conference schedules and that leaves spots to get some wins against them. That comes today as the Hilltoppers more motivated in this matchup then the Cards. Play Western Kentucky. |
10-09-20 | Heat +7.5 v. Lakers | Top | 111-108 | Win | 100 | 17 h 27 m | Show |
The Lakers are one game away from the NBA Championship. However, Jimmy Butler and the rest of the Heat will make it as difficult as possible for that to happen, at least today. Butler has basically taken this team on his shoulders with injuries to center Bam Adebayo and point guard Goran Dragic. Abedayo likely will play today while Dragic is doubtful with a foot injury. The Heat covered game four, albeit within the last minute of the game. I expect the Heat to stay within striking distance of the line here tonight and do what they did in game four. Furthermore, I like this game to go over the total. Your free play is on the OVER. |
09-30-20 | Heat +4.5 v. Lakers | Top | 98-116 | Loss | -102 | 20 h 13 m | Show |
The NBA Finals have finally arrived. It's been a long time in the bubble in Orlando, but the teams made it through with no Covid cases. The Heat dispatched the Boston Celtics to get here tonight while the Lakers got rid of the pesky Denver Nuggets. The Lakers are prohibitive favorites, which isn't surprising since they are a very public team. The Heat are a bit of a surprise to be here today. The Lakers are really a two-player team of Lebron James and Anthony Davis. This is exactly why these two players were brought to LA, to bring back the Championship trophy. For me, I like the Heat as I believe they are a much deeper team. Once you get pas James and Davis, this Lakers team is quite ordinary. I'm throwing out all the numbers in this and taking the Heat who I believe will give the Lakers all they can handle. Play Miami. |
09-23-20 | Celtics v. Heat UNDER 210.5 | Top | 109-112 | Loss | -105 | 22 h 33 m | Show |
The Celtics were desperate for a win in game three and they got it, beating the Heat 117-106. The Heat had taken games one and two of this series and now the Celtics look to even it at two apiece here tonight. The Miami Heat have used a baffling zone defense that had confused the Celtics through two games. However, the Celtics finally figured it out in game three as they got the win. The Celtics would have been a good under team if they could have stayed out of all the OT's they have played. I'm going to stick with what I have liked in the playoffs and that's the UNDER here tonight. |
09-22-20 | Lakers v. Nuggets UNDER 214 | Top | 106-114 | Loss | -110 | 24 h 8 m | Show |
The Denver Nuggets sure don't like making things easy on themselves. They had to come from 1-3 down to the Jazz and the Clippers to win both series in seven games. Now they are down 0-2 to the Lakers and in real danger of going down 0-3 after this game. The Nuggets lost the opener 114-126 and then made a much better showing in game two, but still game up short, 103-105. For the Lakers, you would have to go back to 1969 to find the last time they lost a best of seven series in which they led 2-0. The improvement the Nuggets can build on is their defense, which did a much better job in game two holding the Lakers to just 105 points. The Nuggets defense also forced 24 turnovers after getting just 12 in game one. The Nuggets know this is the game they have to win and that means defense has to lead the way. I look for a similar game to the last one and for me, that's the under. Play UNDER. |
09-20-20 | Nuggets v. Lakers OVER 214.5 | Top | 103-105 | Loss | -107 | 8 h 26 m | Show |
Game two here in the NBA Western finals as the Lakers hold a 1-0 lead over the Nuggets. The Lakers dominated game one after the first quarter, cruising to a 126-114 win. Most of the 2nd half the Lakers held near 20 point leads. I wasn't surprised, the Nuggets came out flat in game one of their series with the Clippers after their come from behind win in the previous series vs the Jazz. Now the Nuggets have had their game to get back on track and tonight I look for a high scoring game. I'm taking the OVER. |
09-18-20 | Nuggets v. Lakers -7 | Top | 114-126 | Win | 100 | 10 h 34 m | Show |
The Denver Nuggets did it again, coming from down 1-3 in a series to pull the upset. They beat the Clippers after being down 1-3 just as they did in the previous series vs the Jazz. When they closed out the Jazz in game seven (80-78) they started the Clippers series with a blowout loss, 97-120. This was likely due to the emotion and exhausting win over the Jazz. The Lakers lost their first game to the Rockets and then rattled off four straight wins to take that series in five games and give them some rest. Now they face the tired Nuggets here again today. The Nuggets will be tired and mentally exhausted after two straight come from behind series wins. The Lakers should be a blowout win here in game one just as the Clippers were vs the Nuggets. I'll lay the points with LA. Take the Lakers. |
09-09-20 | Clippers v. Nuggets +8 | Top | 96-85 | Loss | -105 | 10 h 32 m | Show |
Game four of the series between the Clippers and the Nuggets with the Clippers leading 2-1. The Clippers rebounded from their game two loss with a win in game three that Denver led for a lot of the way, 113-107. Denver led 98-90 in the 4th and was outscored 8-0 and then never got the lead back again. The Clips can take a commanding 3-1 lead with a win today or Denver can make this a series with a win of their own. Denver center Nikola Jokic had 32 points and 12 rebounds despite playing with a bad wrist. This is the game that Denver can ill afford to lose. I look for their best effort here tonight. Take the points with the Nuggets. |
09-07-20 | Celtics -1.5 v. Raptors | Top | 111-89 | Win | 100 | 9 h 27 m | Show |
The Boston Celtics and the Toronto Raptors play game five of their best of seven series here on Monday. The Celtics open the series with two straight wins 112-94 and 102-99. However, the defending champion Toronto Raptors have rebounded with two straight wins, 104-103 and 100-93. They have shown why they are one of the best defensive teams in the NBA and that defense has gotten them back into the series. The Celtics will need to see Kemba Walker step it up here in game five after taking just nine shots in their last Saturday loss. Also struggling was Jaylen Brown who had just 14 points on four of 18 shooting from the field. The good news for the Celtics today they get back Gordon Hayward in the bubble and he will play for the first time since he sprained his ankle in game one of their first round playoff series. For me I like the Celtics here in game five. Play the Boston Celtics. |
09-06-20 | Bucks v. Heat -2 | Top | 118-115 | Loss | -109 | 14 h 51 m | Show |
The Miami Heat are on the verge of doing something that no one expected of them, sweeping the Milwaukee Bucks. If being down 0-3 isn't enough for the Bucks, they also ould be without star player, Giannis Antetokounmpo. Antetokounmpo is questionable with an ankle injury and in fact was downgraded to doubtful. Don't think there is much hope for the Bucks, who I believe have thrown in the towel as they likely will be without their star player. I'm taking the Heat as the sweep the Bucks right out of the Bubble! Play Miami. |
09-03-20 | Raptors -1 v. Celtics | Top | 104-103 | Push | 0 | 13 h 49 m | Show |
The Boston Celtics have taken a 2-0 lead here in this best of seven series with the Toronto Raptors. The Celtics have held the defending NBA champs to under 100 points in each of the first two games. The Raptors were in a similar situation last year, trailing the Milwaukee Bucks 0-2 before winning four straight. The Raptors blew a 12-point lead in game two, something they can ill afford here today. The Raptors in pretty much a must win situation here as they look to get a win in this series. The Raptors know what it takes to get back in this series and I look for them to do just that here today. Take the Raptors. |
09-02-20 | Thunder v. Rockets UNDER 217.5 | Top | 102-104 | Win | 100 | 9 h 18 m | Show |
Game 7 here between the OKC Thunder and the Houston Rockets. The Thunder staved off elimination in game six by taking the Rockets out of their run-and-gun normal game plan. The Thunder slowed the game way down and it resulted in a win, 104-100. Now, can they do it again here in game seven? That's the question. Turnovers also were a big part of the Rockets losses. They turned the ball over on average 17.3 times per game in their three losses. I think these teams will once again be playing a low scoring game. I'm taking the UNDER. |
08-25-20 | Jazz v. Nuggets OVER 219 | Top | 107-117 | Win | 100 | 1 h 15 m | Show |
The Utah Jazz look to close out their series with the Denver Nuggets tonight. The Jazz lost game one to Denver and have since won three straight. Utah has had little trouble scoring against Denver with 125, 124, 124 and 129 points in their four games. Denver finally broke a two-game scoring drought with 127 points in game four, but still came up short. I don't see any reason to change in tonight's contest. I'm going to take the OVER here in game four. |
08-23-20 | Nuggets +3.5 v. Jazz | Top | 127-129 | Win | 100 | 10 h 16 m | Show |
The Denver Nuggets won the opener in this series and since then it's been downhill. The Nuggets lost game two, 105-124 and then got blown out in game three, 87-124. That makes today's game four a very important one for the Nuggets. They can ill afford to go down 1-3 in this series. The Nuggets need to regroup on defense and keep the Jazz from score 120+ points here today, as they have done in all three games. They also need to find the offense again too. The key here today is not to get out to another slow start for the Nuggets. I look for them to come out aggressive and get away from being down big in the first quarter. I have to give them a shot here, their collective backs are up against the wall and they are too good a team to go down like this. Take Denver. |
08-22-20 | Lakers v. Blazers UNDER 225 | Top | 116-108 | Win | 100 | 9 h 44 m | Show |
The Lakers flexed their muscles in game two of their series with the Blazers. After losing game one in bad fashion they rebounded with a resounding shutdown of the high scoring Portland offense, winning game two easily. The Lakers look to continue that here in game three. The Blazers realize that they need to play more of an uptempo game against the Lakers. The Blazers are led by Damian Lillard, who has been unstopable up until game two of this series. Problem for Blazers is that he hurt his index finger in game two, dislocating the finger. He will be playing today in game three, but how will this effect his play? Lilliard had only 18-points before leaving in the 3rd quarter with his injury. For me, even with a healthy Lilliard the Lakers have found out how to shut down this offense of the Blazers. Number a bit high for me here today, so I will go with the UNDER. |
08-20-20 | Blazers v. Lakers OVER 229 | Top | 88-111 | Loss | -104 | 18 h 4 m | Show |
The Portland Trailblazers and LA Lakers play game two of their best of seven series. The Blazers have been basically in the playoffs since they returned, as every game was crucial to them making the postseason. They did so by beating the Grizzlies in a play-in game last Saturday, 126-122. The Blazers shocked the Lakers in game one, taking the opening stanza of this series. Damian Lillard has been unstoppable, as he collected 34 points in the game one victory. The Lakers could see the return of Rajon Rondo, who has been cleared to play and is day-to-day. Still, the Blazers will continue to pile on the points as they have done since returning to play. The Lakers will have to match the here on Thursday. Take the OVER. |
08-11-20 | Rockets v. Spurs -4.5 | Top | 105-123 | Win | 100 | 2 h 8 m | Show |
Early game here on Tuesday has Houston and San Antonio squaring-off in a battle of Texas. Houston has clinched their division title and a playoff spot. Right now the Rockets are 4th in the West but could overtake 3rd place Denver which is just one game ahead of them. The San Antonio Spurs are close to elimination. The Spurs are 2-games back of the 8th and final playoff spot, currently held by Memphis. That means the Spurs can't lose here tonight or they are done. The Spurs have covered five of their last seven games. With what's on the line here tonight, I'll take San Antonio to keep their playoff lives afloat. Take San Antonio. |
08-09-20 | 76ers v. Blazers -3 | Top | 121-124 | Push | 0 | 8 h 58 m | Show |
Philadelphia has won three straight games and sits in the 6th place in the East standings. The Sixers are just a half game from fourth place Miami with the Pacers in between. Portland still on the outside looking in as the Blazers are 9th right now, 1 1/2 games back of Memphis. That makes every game a must game for the Blazers at this point. Both sides have key injuries. The Sixers are going to be without guard Ben Simmons (16.7 ppg) who has a knee injury. The Blazers center Hassan Whiteside (16.3 ppg) is questionable with a hip injury. Portland laying a few points here. I'll have to side with the Blazers in this one as they need the win badly. Play Portland. |
08-08-20 | Clippers v. Blazers -2.5 | Top | 122-117 | Loss | -110 | 3 h 35 m | Show |
Clippers sitting firmly in 2nd place in the West with no hope of catching the Lakers at this point. Therefore, today expect them to be resting Kawhi Leonard, their best player. Some teams already putting it in cruise control as they await the playoffs and the Clippers might be one of those teams. Portland is one game back of the Grizzlies for that final playoff spot so this is a must win for them. I look for a big effort today out of the Blazers. Your Bubble Game of the Month is on the Blazers. |
08-02-20 | Blazers v. Celtics -4 | Top | 124-128 | Push | 0 | 4 h 42 m | Show |
Celtics are 3rd in the East, though they did lose their opener of this restart a few nights ago to the Milwaukee Bucks, 112-119. They had the spread covered most of the game between falling back at the end. And no shame in a good game vs the NBA's top team in the Bucks. Now they play a Portland team who had to go to OT to beam Memphis on Friday, 140-135. Celtics still looks like one of the favorites and I'll lay this short 4-point line on Sunday. Play Celtics. |
07-30-20 | Jazz v. Pelicans -2.5 | Top | 106-104 | Loss | -110 | 45 h 20 m | Show |
Opening day for the resuming of the NBA season after the Covid break. The teams are all playing from the bubble so the risk of infection might not be the same as the MLB is going through. Good news for the Pelicans is that rookie phenom Zion Williamson cleared his quarantine period and has rejoined the team at practice. The Pelicans looked in fine form when they destroyed the Nets a few days ago, 99-68. Really when Zion plays this Pelicans team wins and with him now cleared to go, I like New Orleans minus the small number. Play Pelicans. |

03-11-20 | North Carolina -3 v. Syracuse | Top | 53-81 | Loss | -104 | 10 h 21 m | Show |
ACC Conference 2nd round action here today has North Carolina taking on Syracuse. The Syracuse Orange got a bye in the 1st round while North Carolina had a blow out win against Virginia Tech, 78-56. The Tar Heels have had a tough season with a 14-18 S/U record and 13-19 spread mark. Still, this is a North Carolina and don't underestimate them. The Orange are 17-14 S/U and 14-17 ATS on the season. The Orange have lost two of their last three games both S/U and ATS. That includes a home loss to the Tar Heels back on March 3rd, 79-82 as a 5-point favorite. NCU is the favorite here in this contest despite the worst record. I still think this Tar Heels team is much better than their record shows. I'm going to lay the small number with them here. Play North Carolina. |
