Taking the BREWERS here. Look. I like the Reds. I really thought they would be contenders this year. But the offense is so weak. Votto and Phillips are out. Bruce hasn't had any power. Now they face the Brewers, who have one of the better offenses in the league. Reds just were swept by the Yankees. They face the Brew Crew who they have beaten 6 of the last 8. Brewers in a tail spin dropping 13 of 16. I will lay it the small fave who should be able to muster enough runs for the win here. 4* Money-Maker MILWAUKEE BREWERS

Taking the PIRATES here. You know that I love fading the Sunday night winner. Especially a road team who has to travel to another city. Let's add in that Volquez is sporting a .82 ERA his last 3 starts. Ryu has a 5.28 his last 3 outings. Granted, he was shelled in one of start giving up 7 in 2 innings. Regardless of that, I still feel this is a solid play on the home team vs a team in a let-down spot. 5* Best Bet PITTSBURGH PIRATES

Taking the MARINERS here. This team looks for real. The pitching is there. Don't sell this guy short behind Felix. Iwakuma has a 1.25 his last 3 starts. Career vs LAA he sports a 5-0 record and 1.49 ERA. Seattle 6-0 last 6 with Iwakuma facing the Angels. LAA is 11-2 last 13 at home with Weaver starting. But I will grab the M's at this price with their own solid pitcher. Seattle has won 7 of the last 10 in the series. Also, the Mariners have beaten Weaver 5 of the last 7 time they have faced him. 4* Money Maker SEATTLE MARINERS

Chen not so much vs the Tigers going 6-9 5.52 ERA. Chen had a 7+ ERA before hitting the DL and has been used in relief since. Taking the RAYS here. Ok, we had the Tigers yesterday so we are flipping sides here. Like I said though, the Rays have been just as hot as Detroit. As much as Price looks good, Porcello has been off the charts. Back to back shutouts? Come on. Not happening. I have to fade this guy just on the law of averages. Price has 63Ks (153 total) in his last 46 innings. Porcello has 62, on the year. I like guys who miss bats. Against the Tigers, the Price looks right as David is 4-1 2.23 ERA in 7 appearances. 8* Sure Shot TAMPA BAY RAYS

Taking the DODGERS here. Have to fade away on the Rockies. I mean, these guys have dropped 5 straight, 9 of 10 and 14 of 16. Yes they are 2-14 last 16 games. So, I will bite on this small line here. LAD is 8-3 their last 11. Granted, it is Dan Haren on the hill this afternoon. He does have 4.19 ERA on the road, and teams are hitting .284 against him. Which in Colorado, could result in some runs. But at this price, I have to go with the better team. It isn't like LAD hasn't had success vs DeLaRosa. They are 12-3 last 15 games facing him. 5-2 here in Colorado. DeLaRosa is 3-10 6.26 ERA career vs LA. In a battle of mediocre starters, I'm going with the hot team and fading the guy who has brutal numbers. 4* Money Maker LA DODGERS

Taking the TIGERS here. Nearly went all in 10* Money-Bomb here. Not sure why this line came down like it did. I know Tampa has won 7 of 8, but Detroit isn't in a slump winning 12 of 15. I like the way Sanchez has been throwing. Guy has a .92 WHIP his last 9 starts. We all know that the Rays have problems scoring. Sanchez is just 5-2 in 14 starts. He should really be 14-0 when you have a 2.63 ERA, .197 BA Against and a .98 WHIP. Alright, maybe not 14-0, but you see this guy has been dealing all season. I like Archer and I think the Rays are a good team. But I have to give the edge to Detroit here with Sanchez on the hill. Rays 2-5 in Archer's last 7 starts. Tigers 9-3 last 12 at home vs Tampa. 5* Best Bet DETROIT TIGERS

Taking the ORIOLES here. Easy to grab Yu at this price. But Texas has dropped 4 straight. 8 of 10 and 10 of 13! Darvish's road numbers are good, but not dominate. Chen off a bad outing and sports a 1.29 ERA and a 3-0 career record vs the Rangers. Baltimore has won 5 straight at home over Texas and is now 10-1 last 11 in the series. 4* Money Maker BALTIMORE ORIOLES

Taking the TWINS here. Ok. I know Tanaka has been awesome. But the guy is going to lose more than a game a year. This Yankees team can't hit water falling out of a boat. They have dropped 5 in row and 8 of 10. Granted, Tanaka is the better pitcher tonight, but there is zero chance I am betting him as a fave no matter how well he has pitched. Hughes went 8 innings, 3 hits 2 earned 6Ks for the win last time he faced NYY. You know he has something to prove after the way he pitched last year. Twins 10-3 in Hughes last 13 starts so he has been keeping them in games. 4* Money Maker MINNESOTA TWINS

Taking the REDS here. I had SD last night, but will fade them here. They won the first game of this series on 1 hit. Now they face a guy who is at, or near the top of every important pitching stat there is. Would not be shocked to see SD no-hit again here. That is how good Cueto has been. Padres hitting below .200 vs righties. What are they going to do against with a .84 WHIP? Just on principle I have to back the road fave here. Reds are 8-3 last 11 overall. 4* Money Maker CINCINNATI REDS

Taking the MARINERS here. Man. This guys are rolling lately. How can you not take them here as a small road fave? Sweeping is hard. Sweeping on the road is harder. No way they sweep right? Well the M's are 20-8 last 28 on the road. They are 9-2 last 11 overall and have won 3 straight. Astros have dropped 7 of their last 10. And let's be honest. Even with this young guys Houston is bringing up, they are still a year or two away from being really good. M's think they have a shot that is why they spent 200 million on Cano. Mariners have won 6 of the last 8 in this series when both clubs were bad. Can't even forget how well Young is pitching. He has a 2.68 ERA his last 7 starts, a 1.00 ERA his last 3. He hasn't been as sharp on the road as his home numbers, but I can't discount the roll he has been on. 4* Money Maker SEATTLE MARINERS

Taking the TIGERS. I would normally be shying away from Detroit here as the line is coming down. But I see where people will want to fade Verlander. But the fact is that he has pitched better his last 2 starts giving up 5 earned in 13 innings while striking out 16. Tigers have won 8 of their last 10 overall and 4 of the last 5 vs the A's. Detroit is 7-2 last 9 when Verlander faces Oakland. 4* Money Maker DETROIT TIGERS

Taking the PADRES here. I like to play against a team off a loss especially like the Reds since they had reeled off like 7 of 10 and a bunch in a row. Kennedy has been a pretty solid starter. He misses bats (111Ks 103+INN) and his WHIP isn't terrible (1.23). Leake doesn't have bad numbers either. But unlike Kennedy, he is more of pitch to contact guy. Even against a light hitting bunch like SD, that can cause problems. I mean, these guys won with 1 hit last night! We will back the home team here. 4* Money Maker SAN DIEGO PADRES

Taking the PIRATES here. I have tried time and time again to try and get a handle on the DBacks. I can't I have though made strides backing the Bucs. This team has been playing well with the influx of their young OFers. Pitt has won 7 of their last 9 games. Miley has been better on the road than at home. But I just have to continue to fade these guys. Locke has given up 8 earned in his last 28 innings (4 starts). He gave up 6 in his first start. Obviously, the youngster is improving. 4* Money Maker PITT PIRATES

Taking the RAYS here. We cashed with these guys last night as our Top 10* GOW and will come right back here on Tuesday. Like I said yesterday. I don't think NYY is a good team. We get another edge on the hill tonight with Price. The guy has some crazy K ratio this year. He is dealing. Yes the offense doesn't provide much help. But I am not high on Kurode. I thought he feel apart down the stretch last year, and as the calender turns to July, and the heat and humidity climb, I think the old guy falters again. Rays 8-3 last 11 in the series. Rays are 4-0 in Price's last 4 starts in the Bronx. Yanks 3-8 in Kurode's last 11 home starts as an underdog. They are 3-13 last 16 as home dog overall. This is the 'new' Yanks. Not a good team at all. 4* Money Maker TAMPA BAY RAYS

Taking the RANGERS here. I will fade Ubaldo. I thought he had turned the corner with a couple good starts in early May. But he has been terrible at home, 0-6 6.28 ERA in 8 starts. He is winless his last 9 starts with an ERA of 5.49. For Texas, Saunders isn't much better. I mean, the Rangers are reeling dropping 9 of their last 11. But the O's not much better with Jimenez on the hill going 2-7 last 9 overall, 1-7 at home and for whatever it's worth 3-12 on grass. Just shows me the guy can't keep his team in it when he gets the nod. Rangers are 7-3 last 10 in Baltimore. 4* Money Maker TEXAS RANGERS

Taking the RAYS here. Look, TB hasn't performed, but I still feel they are the better team. They have a clear edge on the hill tonight with Archer. All he has done is go 4-0 1.29 ERA in 4 starts vs NYY, including 2-0 .60 ERA here in the Bronx. Rays 12-5 last 17 in the series, 5-1 last 6 here in NY and as I mentioned earlier, 4-0 when Archer is on the bump. Add in the fact that I love to fade the Yanks off of a Red Sox game, and a double bonus that is was the ESPN Sunday night GOW, and we have the makings of a perfect storm here. 10* Money Bomb TAMPA BAY RAYS
