DMack's Free Play for Saturday, March 10, 2018 is on the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers Western Kemtucky has handled Marshall pretty easily this year winning by 25 at home and then by 9 in the rematch. Both teams have been playing well with The Herd winning 9 of 11 and the Toppers 17 of 21. Both teams won fairly easily last night Marshall likes to play a blistering tempo (75 possessions five of L6 games) but all we can takeWester from that is that H2H, Western Kentucky likes it and does it better. This number is skewed by the fact that this conference isn't followed much and by the Highlanders 91-59 home win back on January 18th. In that game, NJIT was unconcious shooting the ball in a game that you can only summarize as one of those nights. North Florida is actually 4-2 in the series since NJIT joined the Sunbelt and has a big chance of winning straight up here. The Ospreys have had their moments since starting Div-I baskets none years ago including wins over Purdue and Illinois and winning this tourney in 2015.

That tells us that the Gonzaga is a good team that knows how to win but is a very public team that is taxed by the linemakers in Sin City if you want to play them. Not so here. The Zags won 68-60 at home outscoring the Cougars 9-1 in the final two minutes to secure the win. BYU is 13-2 at home with its only conference home loss by 10 to St Marys. Gonzaga is MUCH better than St Marys and injury to Haws (ankle, check status) will unquestionably come into play. Lay the five.
