Gordon Hayward broke his hand over the weekend and is out but the Celtics are plenty deep enough to compensate for those minutes. Dallas certainly can't keep up this type of road play and some of their inexplicable home losses indicate that the Mavs are a work in progress. OKC is a 30-35 win team at best and that will be proven out in April. The Thunder have won their last three home games, all against fellow bottom feeders or this line would be double-digits. The Owls opened with a win over a D-II school called Flagler that somehow managed to shoot 68% inside the arc against them and still won by eleven. PG13 is out until at lead mid-November and Kyle Kuzma is out for the Lakers and will probably resume contact next week but for tonight, like what figures to be a revitalized Lebron who had the playoffs and summer off to recharge his body for the first time in a long time and will be ready to send a message to the league early that "The King" is back in business. DMack's NBA Finals Game IV Super Play is on the Toronto Raptors I very rarely change my opinion mid-stream but I'm a firm believer of the eye test and the Golden State Warrior team that was put out on the floor in Game III cannot compete at this level. The Warriors were out of the mix from the get go and it took 47 from Steph to make things as close as they were. Sure GSW will likely get Klay back for this one but at what level and I'm not a big klay guy to begin with. That's not to say that he won't go out and get 60 which he does every blue moon. In the end, the Warriors just don't play defense and their bench is the weakest of any of the five teams in the current five game championship run. Toronto straight up.

To say that this team is a mash nit is an understatement and and this was the least deep Golden State of their current run even when completely healthy. That said, not overly interested in grabbing small points with the Raptors either as Kahwi can only "Will" in so much. At the end of the day, looking for a slow down, full possession game like was saw in game two. Walk it up, run the offense, take a long jumper, go get it and one and done. It's going to be all eyes on Steph in this one and even if he gets 30 which he probably will, not sure where the Wubs squeeze out another 70-80 ??? Play the Under.

DMack's NBA Championship Game Two Super Play is on the Golden State Warriors One of the biggest pitfalls of this hobby is remembering what we saw last. In this case, it was a dominating wire-to-wire Toronto win that has everyone thing that the Warriors backs are against the wall. Keep this mind ... Golden State had not played in 10 days, were integrating Boogie Cousins back into the lineup for the first time in eight weeks, and overall just played a miserable game. PRIOR, the Warriors were 32-1 in games that Steph played and KD didn't. Without the Durantula, the Wubs ball movement is more crisp and you would have to think that GSW will shoot considerably better from the field and be much more aware of their defensive assignments. Yes Kahwi had a pedestrian Game I at best but are you willing to bet that you'll get 34 points from Pascal Biakim and another 20/7 game from Marc Gasol ??? I don't think so. Expect Golden State to go in and take care of business here and go back to the bay with a convincing split. Golden State 122-106.

The Warrior role players (and that's no insult) like Iguodala have had plenty of time to heal and the Wubs (other than Durant) should be close to 100% ready to go. Not much going into this "cap" ... Golden State is 32-1 straight up when Curry plays and Durant doesn't. That is not by accident and it seems to be forgotten that this team has won championships without KD. Plain and simple ... Damian Lillard has rib problems and will not be 100% but in all honesty has not be been much of a factor in the series to this point in any case. Portland is in a hole that they cannot dig out of and it won't take much to break their will. Golden State has some urgency here to win as that it will give them a full nine days off to get healthy while the Bucks and Raptors slug it out. In the last 31 games that GSW has played with Durant out and Steph running the show, the Warriors are 30-1 straight up. At -150, Golden State should be a real consideration money line. Denver had not lost a game that they had led going into the fourth quarter at home until Sunday as the Blazers stormed back from 17 down. Golden State rode a big second half from Steph and might not have the same urgency here. Portland has own four the last six in the series so why would they back down here. Four points decides this either way.

DMack's 76ers/Raptors Game Seven Super Play is on the Philadelphia 76ers This has been a tough series to figure as neither team has made a concerted effort to show up in every game. The 76ers would appear to be all in with their top notch starting five and the Raptors MUST advance here if they have any hope (which is slim to none to begin with) of re-signing Kahwi Leonard. Again, win or go home with no excuses, expect Ben Simmons and J.J. Reddick to bring their AAA games here and when it's all said and done, Philly, top to bottom first seven players is the better team. Mack Attack Blazers/Nuggets Game Seven Super Play is on the Portland Trailblazers It's win or go home in both games today and in this spot, I really like the dog. IMO, Portland has the best two players on the floor in Lillard and McCollum and if they perform they way they did in Game ix when they combined for 62 points, Portland is going to have a big chance to win this game straight up. The Nuggets are home and the Pepsi Center is a tough venue but IMO, it's just not Denver's time. Looking for Lillard to get involved early on and for Portland to leave it on the floor from the git go. Portland 113-109.

Neither team was great in Game One which is a concern but the urgency is also completely with Houston here as they pretty much need a split to have any chance against the Wubs. Big effort from the front court and reserves as opposed to Paul/Harden gets it done for the visitors. Houston 122-119.

The Highlanders were 13-3 outside the A-Sun against a moderate schedule and wear you down by getting to the foul line ... A LOT! NJIT by double-digits.

DMack's Tuesday NBA Road Warrior is on the Sacramento Kings One of the pit falls of sports betting is remembering the last thing we saw. The last we saw, the Mavs went into Golden State and punked the Warriors by 35 points. The Kings meanwhile, fighting for their proverbial playoff lives, were losing at the slumping Lakers. The facts are that the Mavs are in full out tank mode and just 3-13 in their L16 games. They are 3-7 L10 vs. the Kings and just 1-4 ATS the L5 times the Kings have come to visit. Not writing off the Kings yet and looking for them to win by double-digits here.

DMack's Monday CBI Super Play is on the West Virginia Mountaineers It wouldn't be much of s stretch to say that the West Virginia Mountaineers are the only 15-20 team still playing in the country. It's been a nightmare season for HOF head coach Bob Huggins but was salvaged somewhat by throwing a couple of malcontents off the team, and abandoning his stifling length of the floor press in favor of a wide open offense that allows his kids to play. Remember that their end of the year resurgence and run in the Big 12 tournament was prompted by four end of the bench freshman that play their guts out and can put the ball in the hoop. Coastal Carolina also has a HOF coach in Cliff Ellis and does some nice things but in the end, does not have the fire power to stay with a fired up Mounties team and crowd.

DMack's Sunday College Hoops Upset Shocker is on the Harvard Crimson For Sunday's Upset Shocker we turn to the NIT and the Harvard Crimson who obviously are in it, to win it. The Ivy's are off nice win at Georgetown after losing to arch-rival Yale in their conference championship game on Sunday. Both team are experienced but still not convinced the Wolf Pack will stay interested after barely getting by Hofstra in lacklustre first round win. Two experienced teams and if Harvard stays away from the turnovers that have plagued them all year, this game could come down to the final possessions with Harvard with a big chance to win straight up.

DMack's Sunday Tournament Perfect Storm is on the North Carolina Tar Heels This is a tale of two teams that don't figure to repeat their performances if their first round games. Washington shot the lights out, took care of the ball, and got a lot of help from the officials to upset Utah State. North Carolina trailed Iona by five at half before blowing the Gaels out in the second half and almost covering by accident. Heels should not be flat here and should be ready to roll start to finish as they move on to the second round. The Heels beat Stanford by 18 and UCLA by 16 this year vs. Pac12 opponents. Further, the Heels are just 3-3 L6 in this round and will be very cognizant of that fact. North Carolina by 20.

DMack's Round of 32 Lock of the Year is on the Gonzaga Zags There are several reasons to take the Zags and fade the Bears. Baylor is the second ranked offensive rebounding team in the nation but that won't matter much against the bigger more physical Zags. The Bears were also 16-34 from the arc against Syracuse which again, they will not repeat as Gonzaga gets out to the perimeter and gets after it. The Zags pummeled Fairleigh Dickenson as expected and don't figure to let up as they are 4-0 SU and 3-1 ATS in this round the last four years. Lay it.

DMack's Saturday Under-The-Radar Crush Shot is on the Florida State Seminoles Murray State and Ja Morant are a nice story but No.12 seeds are just 1-5 ATS in this round the last six times they survived their openers. Florida State struggled with Vermont in their first round game but the outcome was never really ever in doubt. The Sems are bigger, longer, more athletic and deeper with just two starters playing more than 30+ minutes on Thursday. Florida State was 13-1 outside the SEC and spanked Missouri State by 17 in their only game against the Missouri Valley Florida State by 10.
