DMack's NCAAB Play of the Day is on the Virginia Tech Hokies Virginia Tech has won six straight in the series including the last three meetings on this court. The dog is 5-1 L6 in the series despite my thinking that the wrong team might be favored here. Both teams are struggling, Virginia Tech having lost three straight and G Tech just 1-4 in its L5 but ... at the end of the day, like the sharpshooting Hokies who can fill it up and depend on their outside shooting for better than 40% of their points. Virginia Tech 68-60.

The Hornets are yet to win on the road but are 4-1 at home with the lone loss coming to Big Sky leader Eastern Washington on Saturday. Idaho is 1-8 in the Sky, 0-4 on the road but all four losses are by five points or less. Neither team scores a lot of points, Sac-town averaging 54 ppg. in it's Big Sky losses. Idaho has won 4 of 5 in the series and should be a handful for the slumping (1-4 L5) home team.

The Pistons have lost 5 of 6 but did beat the Nuggets in OT yesterday and will play this back end of B2B's after travel. Memphis has won 4 of 5 and is 10-3 ATS in their L13 home games. The Grizz have a nice foundation with JA Morant and remember that they're playing in the much tougher Western Conference. The Grizz have clawed their way back to .500 and if the playoffs were to start today, they'd be the No.8 seed. More points than we'd like but bad bad spot for Detroit.

Fully expect business as normal tonight against the Kings as the Lakers have lost three of four and Lebron will have this team pull up it's bootstraps. The Lakers are 6-2 in the L8 series games with the Kings with the two losses each by a point. The Kings are 3-1 L4 including the improbable with over Minnesota but Sac-Town is also just 2-11-1 ATS L14 at home and are up against it here. Lakers by 20.

DMack Power Pack Best Bet winner is on the Arkansas Razorbacks Bullet analysis: Arkansas has hit a flat spot after 15-1 start. In their last home game, the Razors were down 10 the whole first half to Kentucky, took a 50-47 lead, Calipari gets tossed, and Arkansas folds like a cheap suit jacking 30-footers and committing terrible turnovers trying to drive the lane with nothing there. Musselman will have his team ready here against a very beatable TCU outfit and wouldn't be shocked to see the Hawgs blow out the Horned Frogs.

DMack Power Pack Best Bet winner is on the Akron Zips Bullet analysis: The Zips look to be the best in the MAC and stack up well offensively and defensively from a metric standpoint against all opponents. Ohio on the other hand is No.189 on offense and No.186 on defense. They've lost 3 of 4 with a two point win at Eastern Michigan and 9-3-11 point losses to the three teams chasing Akron. The Zips roll here at a fair price.

DMack Power Pack Best Bet winner is on the UNCGR/Samford Over Bullet analysis: Greensboro has to be licking its chops here facing Samford. The Bulldogs are a hard trying bunch but do not seem to have an understanding of the concept of defense, allowing 101, 90, 88. and 105 in their L4 games. NCGr averages 76 ppg. versus all opponents and has to be put on 90 here. Samford can put the ball in the hole themselves and this one figures to go flying over the total.

DMack Power Pack Best Bet winner is on the Boston Terriers Bullet analysis: Holy Cross is a horrific 3-17 and are bottom of the barrel in most D-I metrics, specifically defense where the Crusaders are No.344 out of 353 teams. Boston University can play a bit and owns an early win over the likes of South Carolina. The Terriers have lost two straight but those were to Patriot heavyweights Colgate and Navy. Despite being on the road, we seem to be getting line value here everything considered. Boston U by 15-20.

DMack Power Pack Best Bet winner is on the LSU Tigers Bullet analysis: LSU has won 7 straight, 6-0 in the SEC, No.7 shooting inside the arc, and No.11 in offensive rebounding … a pretty formidable combination. The Shaka Smart tenure at Texas could be coming to a close as he has just not gotten the Longhorns over the hump. UT has lost 5 of 8 and was smoked by 38 at West Virginia in latest. Prior to that was losing to Kansas by double-digits at home after leading by double-digits in the first half. Hard to see Texas prevailing here.

DMack Power Pack Best Bet winner is on the Mississippi State Bulldogs Bullet analysis: Mississippi State is under-the-radar sneaky good but basically unproven with its front-loaded home schedule. The Bulldogs last two road games were losses at LSU and Bama followed by a 27-point home win over Mizzou and a 32-point home win over Georgia, and big 7-point win against a very good Arkansas team. Oklahoma is on the improve for Lon Kruger but still young and probably a year away. The Sooners have played well against their own kind but have consistently fell short against better and probably should not be laying points here.

DMack Power Pack Best Bet winner is on the Villanova Wildcats Bullet analysis: Nova has won five straight but has only played two road Big East games, losing at Marquette and winning at Creighton. This is the Cats first roadie in 18 days. Providence has lost three of fourbut always dangerous and is supremely coached by Ed Cooley. All said, Jay Wright has done a nice job with what started as the No.333 most experienced team in the country and is still 15-3 playing the No.29 strength of schedule and winning close game after close game.

DMack NCAAB Power Pack winner is on Marquette Bullet Analysis: Marquette has won three straight averaging better than 87 ppg. and knocking down 40% of their shots beyond the arc. Butler has lost three straight and the last two in this series, both by double-digits. The Bulldogs haven't played much defense during their recent skid, not good against the white hot perimeter shooting Eagles. Marquette straight up.
