DMack Subscription Bonus NBA winner on the Utah Jazz I actually thought the Mavs might improve with Dennis Smith but this is a bad team and the talent level might rival the Knicks for worst in the league. The Jazz is 3-0 at home, 3-0 as a home favorite with all three wins by better than 9 points. Dallas is 0-2 on the road losing by 5 and 16 points. The game they lost by five they trailed by 24 at the half. Utah will once again be an elite defensive team and they don't have much offense to shut down here. Jazz getting used to new editions but watch them after the All-Star break. Tonight they win by 20.

Six of the L7 in the series have gone under as have all three on this court. NUMEROUS techs point to the low here including Minny on a 21-9 under run in the division. DMack's GSW/Cavaliers Game Four Super Play is on the Golden State Warriors An 11-0 run in the final 3:06 of Game Three pretty much guaranteed the Warriors the NBA championship as no team in the long storied history of the league has ever come back from 3-0 down. With "The Ring" in their back pocket, tonight Golden State plays for immortality with a 16-0 run through the playoffs. Not Fo-Fo-Fo but a perfect 16-0. With the eye on the prize I'm thinking that a sweep here would make last years Final's series meltdown (after a record 73 regular season wins) just a bad memory and completely redeemed. A brutally stupid Za Za offensive four in the final six seconds of the first half made the Golden State lead six rather than 11 and left the Warriors in a funk coming out for the second half. DMack's GSW/Cavs Game Three Slam Dunk is on Golden State I was completely wrong in Game One when I thought that Golden State would be at it's most vulnerable and played the Cavs. I put a great deal of credence in the "eye test" and am convinced that the Cavs come back win last year was an abberation and 1000% attributable to Steph Curry being banged up and to Dirty Dray's suspension in Game Three. Add Kevin Durant to the mix and you pretty much have an unbeatable juggernaut. Thinking that the Warriors are taking this personally as well and have every intention of sweeping the Cavs in four games and put last year's failure to bed for good. Not sure what the Cavs can do to counter as other than Lebron, they are out-manned at almost every position. Golden State by 11.

The 113-91 final was nowhere near as close as the final and in reality, Golden State should have won this game by 30+ missing bunny after bunny in the paint. Cleveland is just a bad defensive team, they have been all year and they just don't face a Golden State in the East. The Warriors will be better than in Game One and Cleveland won't score 39 in a half here. Game One was set to fly over after a 112 first half on Thursday. We're going to take advantage of the 4.5-5 point adjustment in the line for Game Two and come hard on the OVER.

DMack's NBA Play of the Day is on the Golden State Warriors This is the obvious choice and there is no real handicapping involved. Two things to consider. The true line for this game should be about five and will the Utah Jazz come to play facing the inevitable of being eliminated here or in the next 48 hours. The Jazz covered both games in Oakland sneaking the backdoor or 14-14.5 point spreads in games they were down 20+ in the third quarter. With an eye on Cleveland and knowing Rockets/Spurs will go at least six/seven games, expect a very professional Warrior outfit to take care of business here and take advantage of just about a week's worth of rest before moving on. Let's call this one 114-93.

DMack's NBA Play of te Day is on the Cleveland Cavaliers While the Celtics/Wiz looks like it could go to seven games, the Cavs are on cruise control winning the first three games of this series, all by double-digits and two by 20+. The Cavs and in particular Lebron has made it a habit of not screwing around in these games, taking care of business and getting the max rest. Don't the Cavs allowing te Raptors to hang around and at this point does Toronto even want to go back to Cleveland when they could be on the beach by Tuesday. Cleveland 108-95.

DMack's NBA Playoff Play of the Day is on the Golden State Warriors Utah is 2-0 ATS in the series and 8-2-1 ATS L11 but they've lost 9 of 10 to the Warriors with that win a meaningless game to GSW in April while the Jazz were fighting for playoff seeding. Home court not much for the Jazz as they lost two of three to the Clippers in the last round. Bottom line ... Utah has not led at all in this series and face a Golden State juggernaut that is not happy to be in Salt Lake for the weekend and figure to take care of business so as not to come back and have max rest before facing the Spurs/Rockets winner.

DMack's NBA Play of the Day is on the Boston Celtics The Wiz blew two double-digit first half leads in Boston and couldn't even come away with a cover for their troubles. Wall and Beal are playing great but there just doesn't seem to be enough contributions from the supporting cast to get Washington over the hump. This isn't a great matchup for the Wiz either as Boston has dominated the series to the tune of 9-4 SU and 10-3 ATS over the last three years.

DMack's NBA Playoff Super Play is on the Jazz/Warriors OVER the Total While this has been a historically low scoring series of late, this is the playoffs and a completely different animal. The Warriors have owned the Jazz and with extended rest should be razor sharp headed into tonight. That said, still not interested in laying 13.5 in a NBA semi. The Jazz will try to play physical and shorten the game with long offensive possessions. If Golden State comes out knocking down shots and can get up by double-digits early, the Jazz will have no choice but to play at GSW pace and send this total flying over a very reasonable 206 1/2.

That said, their coach has already bolted and the Paladins will go on the road with an interim guy. St Peter's has won eight of nine against better and return home where tey've won four of five. Two very slow paced, deliberate teams. The Peacocks are a veteran group that started the year No.35 in experience so they should prevail here ... call it 68-60.
