02-20-18 | Kentucky v. Arkansas -5.5 | Top | 87-72 | Loss | -108 | 9 h 58 m | Show |
SEC play tonight has Kentucky 18-9 S/U, 10-16 ATS) playing at Arkansas (19-8 S/U, 14-13 ATS). The Kentucky Wildcats have struggled lately in conference, losing four of their last five games and failing to cover five of their last six games. Meanwhile, Arkansas has won four straight both S/U and ATS. The Razorbacks, which started SEC poorly, have finished strong as they head into the home stretch of the regular season. Arkansas has home games vs Kentucky and Auburn left with two away games at Alabama and Missouri. My recent form number has Arkansas as a 11-point favorite here, well above the 5.5-point line posted tonight. I like the way Arkansas is playing while Kentucky has struggled. Play the home team, Arkansas |
02-20-18 | Ole Miss v. Missouri -7.5 | 90-87 | Loss | -105 | 9 h 53 m | Show
SEC action here tonight has 9-17 Mississippi playing at Missouri (18-9). Ole Miss has struggled, especially in the SEC where it has lost seven straight and nine of the last 10. They have fared any better vs the number, going 0-7 ATS their last seven games. In addition, the Rebels are just 2-9 ATS on the road this season. Missouri saw its five game SEC win streak snapped last game at LSU, losing 63-64. The Tigers are 4-1-1 ATS their last five games. The line has dropped to Missouri minus 7.5-points, which makes this a play for me as I have the Tigers at just over double digits. Play Missouri. |
02-19-18 | Minnesota v. Wisconsin -7 | 63-73 | Win | 100 | 7 h 14 m | Show
Two teams that will need to do well once the Big 10 Tourney comes are Wisconsin and Minnesota. Both club just over or just below the .500 mark. Minnesota has lost eight straight games coming into tonight's contest. In addition, they have lost 11 of their last 14 games. They haven't fared much better against the number, covering just one game in their last nine and going 2-10 ATS in their last 12 contests. Wisconsin is coming off a big home win over Purdue, 57-53 as a 11-point dog. The Badgers have won two lf their last three games. Still, they are just 4-9 in conference play. My recent power number clearly favor the Badgers in this matchup, by as much as 13 points. I'll lay the seven with the home team. Play Wisconsin. |
02-18-18 | Loyola-Chicago -5.5 v. Evansville | 76-66 | Win | 100 | 4 h 15 m | Show
Loyola Chicago is having a excellent season with 22 wins and just five losses. The Ramblers are also 15-7 ATS on the season, 8-3 ATS on the road. Loyola has lost just two games in conference play, once at Missouri State to open Missouri Valley play and the other at Bradley on Jan 31st. The Ramblers have also covered three of their last four and 10 of their last 12. Evansville is 16-13 on the season. They have lost two straight and three of their last four games. In their previous game at Loyola Chicago they lost 59-66, but just covered the eight-point spread. Evansville will likely be without guard Dru Smith, who was downgraded to doubtful with a foot injury. Smith averaged 13.4 ppg. I'm taking Loyola here on Sunday. |
02-18-18 | Houston v. Temple +3 | Top | 80-59 | Loss | -100 | 4 h 5 m | Show |
Temple was looking for a huge upset win last game at Wichita State. The Owls jumped out to monster lead at halftime, 56-42. However, they seemed to be gassed in the second half, losing 30-51 and ultimately the game by a 86-93 mark. The Owls still got the cover though, their sixth in a row. Now, they take on a Houston team they lost to by just three points as a 7.5 point dog their fist time. Houston is 20-5 on the season and 12-8 ATS. Houston has won three straight (all at home). The have lost two of their last three on the road though. In fact, they have also covered just one of their last five on the road. I like the home dog here as Temple is playing very well and has home court. Take the points with Temple. |
02-18-18 | Nebraska +1 v. Illinois | 66-72 | Loss | -105 | 4 h 45 m | Show
Nebraska is one of those quiet teams in the Big 10 this year that has jumped to 20 wins. The Huskers have won six straight games and eight of their last nine. In addition, Nebraska has covered eight straight and 12 of their last 13 games. Illinois has not had a good year at just 12-15 on the season and 9-13 ATS. The Fighting Illini have lost four straight games and 10 of their last 12. Nebraska has covered its last eight game on the road while Illinois has covered just one of it last seven at home. Play Nebraska. |
02-17-18 | Ole Miss v. Mississippi State -7 | 62-79 | Win | 100 | 8 h 12 m | Show
Rivalry Game of the Year : Battle for state bragging rights back on the table here today as Ole Miss takes on Mississippi State. Ole Miss definitely the worst of the two clubs, as they bring a six game losing streak into today's contest. In addition, the Rebels have lost nine of their last 11 games. They haven't done any better vs the number, going 0-6 ATS their last six games. They are also 2-8 ATS in their last 10 road games. Miss State has done better, posting a 18-8 record on the season. The Bulldogs have covered six straight games and five of their last six at home. A little revenge on the board here too, as Ole Miss beat Mississippi State in their first meeting back in early January, 64-58. Look for an easy Mississippi State win today. |
02-17-18 | Texas Tech v. Baylor -1.5 | 57-59 | Win | 100 | 7 h 11 m | Show
Big 12 Conference action as Texas Tech takes on Baylor this evening. Tech has been very good in conference play, going 11-3. Tech has won seven straight and four straight vs the number. Baylor has also been hot of late, winning four straight games. The Bears don't have the same winning record as Tech, but they have been good to bettors. Baylor has covered five straight games and is 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games. What I like most about Baylor is at home. The Bears have covered four of their last five home games. Take Baylor here on Saturday. |
02-17-18 | St. Louis v. Richmond -2.5 | 72-66 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 52 m | Show
Atlantic 10 conference action here today has St Louis (14-12 S/U, 14-9 ATS) playing at Richmond. The Bilikins started conference play with a 1-4 record before heating up a bit and winning six of their last eight. Richmond has lost two straight games, both on the road. The Spiders have been a much better team at home, covering four of their last six games. The Bilikens are just 2-5 ATS in their last seven road games vs a team with a losing overall home record. Richmond has covered seven of its last nine conference games and that's just what I look for her today. Play Richmond. |
02-17-18 | UAB v. Southern Miss +2.5 | 87-69 | Loss | -102 | 7 h 53 m | Show
UAB has been struggling vs the number lately, going just 2-7 ATS in their last nine games (all conference). In addition, they are just 5-13 ATS in their last 18 road games vs a home team with a winning percentage of .60 or better. Moreover, on the road they have covered just seven of 24 tries. Can't say the same for the Southern Miss Golden Eagles. The Eagles are 19-7 ATS at home vs a losing road team. They are 7-1 ATS in their last overall home games. Just four games left for Southern Miss and two at home. I like them to cover this one of their last two on their home court. Play Southern Miss. |
02-17-18 | Auburn -6 v. South Carolina | 75-84 | Loss | -110 | 3 h 11 m | Show
SEC Action this afternoon has a very good Auburn team (23-3 S/U, 18-6 ATS) playing at South Carolina (13-13 S/U, 11-14 ATS). Auburn has been one of the best this season with 23 wins. Two of the Tigers losses have come in conference, one to Texas A&M and the other to Alabama. The Tigers have also covered well, going 7-1 ATS in their last eight games. Meanwhile, South Carolina has been reeling of late, losing six straight coming into this contest. In addition, the Gamecocks are just 1-5 ATS in their last six games. I like Auburn a lot here on Saturday. |
02-15-18 | Oregon State v. UCLA -7 | 68-75 | Push | 0 | 10 h 0 m | Show
As the conference battles enter the final stretch, we have a PAC 12 matchup here tonight between Oregon State and UCLA. The Beavers are just 1-5 ATS in their last six games overall. Oregon State has won two straight games after a four game losing streak. The Beavers have also covered just three of eight away games this season. UCLA saw its four game win streak snapped at Arizona State last time out, 79-88. The Bruins did beat Arizona on the road, 82-74 the game before. UCLA is also 4-2 ATS in their last six games. Bruins play two home games now before closing out the regular season with three road games. That makes these next two at home even more important. I look for UCLA to cover here tonight vs the Beavers. Take UCLA |
02-15-18 | Hawaii v. Cal-Irvine -6.5 | Top | 62-61 | Loss | -112 | 10 h 2 m | Show |
Hawaii makes the long trip East to play at Cal Irvine tonight. The Rainbow Warriors have lost five straight games. Due to distance, the team only makes limited road trips and so far this year they are 1-4 S/U, 2-3 ATS away from home. Meanwhile, UC Irvine has won five straight and seven of their last eight games. The Anteaters are also 5-0 ATS their last five and 7-2-1 ATS their last 10 games. Hawaii not playing well of late, evidenced by my own recent form line of well over double-digits on the home team here. I will lay the points with UC Irvine tonight. |
02-15-18 | Middle Tennessee v. Southern Miss +7 | 72-62 | Loss | -105 | 7 h 1 m | Show
Conference USA matchup here today has Middle Tennessee State playing at Southern Miss. The Blue Raiders have won seven straight games and in fact have lost just a single game in conference play this year. They have lost three straight vs the number though. Southern Miss is coming off a win over Charlotte and has covered three straight. The Golden Eagles are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games and 21-8-1 ATS in their last 30 games vs a team with a winning road record. Southern Miss playing well of late and that leads me to take the points here tonight with the home dog. Play Southern Miss. |
02-15-18 | William & Mary +4.5 v. Hofstra | 84-90 | Loss | -106 | 6 h 1 m | Show
CAA action tonight has William & Mary (16-9 S/U, 14-6 ATS) playing at Hofstra (15-11 S/U, 9-12 ATS). The Tribe is 7-1 ATS in their last eight road games and 4-1 ATS in their last five overall. William & Mary now 9-5 S/U their last 14 games. The Hofstra Pride are just 14-36-1 ATS their last 51 home games. Hofstra has covered just two of their last seven overall games. I like the points here today with the road team. Take William & Mary. |
02-14-18 | Seton Hall v. Xavier -5 | Top | 90-102 | Win | 100 | 7 h 25 m | Show |
Big East play finds a struggling Seton Hall playing at Xavier tonight. The Pirates have lost three straight games. In addition, Seton Hall is just 2-5 ATS in the last seven road games. Meanwhile, Xavier has won eight straight games and is 6-2 ATS in those contests. Xavier has lost just two conference games this season. I am very happy to see the line come out as Xavier minus 5-points. My own numbers have Xavier as a 8-point favorite on the season and 12-points in recent play. My top play is on the home team here, Xavier. |
02-14-18 | St. John's -1 v. DePaul | 77-76 | Push | 0 | 7 h 14 m | Show
Big East play today has two teams that have had struggled off and on this season. St Johns brings a three-game win streak into today's contest. The Red Storm had lost 11 straight conference games before their modest win streak. This includes a home loss to this Depaul team back in early January, 74-91. Depaul snapped a three game losing streak with a win last game at Providence, 80-63. The Blue Demons are still just 2-6 in their last eight conference games. Two mediocre to bottom level conference teams with a line of St Johns 1.5. My numbers play a huge role in my decision here. I have a big edge to St Johns, especially in recent form numbers where they are as high as 10-points. I have great trust in my numbers, so I'm taking St Johns. |
02-14-18 | Utah State +5.5 v. New Mexico | 63-78 | Loss | -100 | 7 h 8 m | Show
Mountain West contest here has Utah State (14-12 S/U, 12-11 ATS) playing at New Mexico (12-14 S/U, 11-12 ATS). There was a time when playing at the PIT was the pits for visitors. Not quite so anymore, as New Mexico has seen losses at home this year to Tennessee Tech, New Mexico State, Arizona and recently, Boise State. The Lobos are just 7-6 in conference play with five left in the season. Utah State has won four of its last five conference games. The Aggies are coming off a nice home win over Boise State, 71-65 as a three-point dog. New Mexico is a 5-point chalk here tonight, but my numbers have Utah State favored in recent play and almost even for the year. I'll take the points with Utah State. |
02-14-18 | Virginia Tech +12 v. Duke | 52-74 | Loss | -108 | 5 h 9 m | Show
Two of the ACC heavyweights clash here on Wednesday as Virginia Tech (18-7 S/U, 13-8 ATS) plays at Duke (20-5 S/U, 14-9 ATS). Virginia Tech has won two straight and five of the last six. They are 7-5 in conference play. The Hokies have also covered five of their last six games. Duke has struggled of late, dropping two of its last three games. The Blue Devils just concluded a three-game road stint that saw losses at St Johns and North Carolina. Duke is now 8-4 in conference play. No doubt both of these clubs will be in the NCAA tourney, but today I like the points with Virginia Tech as Duke returns from a three-game road trip. Play Virginia Tech. |
02-13-18 | Virginia v. Miami-FL +6 | 59-50 | Loss | -106 | 7 h 9 m | Show
Big ACC matchup here today between Virginia (23-2 S/U and 16-5 ATS) and Miami Florida (18-6 S/U, 9-10 ATS). Virginia is the top ranked team in the nation heading into tonight's contest, despite losing to Virginia Tech 60-61 in OT last Saturday. The Cavaliers haven't had it easy of late, with three of their last five games decided by four points or less. The Cavs are always at the top of the country in points allowed, so look for a low scoring game here today. Virginia is just 1-7 on the road at Miami. Miami knows how to play the upset role, last beating a No. 1 team in 2013 when they hosted Duke. I like the points here today. Take Miami. |
02-13-18 | St Bonaventure v. La Salle OVER 151.5 | 79-68 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 57 m | Show
I'm looking at the over here tonight between St Bonnys and La Salle. Both of these teams have been good over teams, with St Bonny's having a 12-9 O/U record and La Salle a 17-7 O/U record. St Bonny's has gone over in nine of their last 12 games. They have scored at least 70 points in every conference game. La Salle is 9-1 O/U in their last 10 games. Moreover, La Salle is seen all but one home game go over this season. In their last three home games they have eclipsed the total by 13, 21 and 13 points respectfully. Play the OVER. |
02-13-18 | Western Michigan v. Bowling Green UNDER 146 | 81-83 | Loss | -130 | 8 h 57 m | Show
I'm looking at the UNDER in tonight's contest between Western Michigan and Bowling Green. Both clubs have tended toward unders this year with Western Michigan at 9-13 O/U and Bowling Green at 8-9 O/U. The Falcons of Bowling Green has seen the last four games go Under, including the last game that even went to OT against Eastern Michigan. Western Michigan has seen its last two games go under and three of the last four. The Broncos are 5-16 O/U in their last 21 road games and 5-13 O/U in their last 18 vs the MAC. I like this game to go UNDER tonight. |
02-13-18 | Kansas v. Iowa State +7 | Top | 83-77 | Win | 100 | 8 h 58 m | Show |
Kansas was ranked 10th in the country before losing at Baylor on Saturday, 64-80. The Jayhawks were never in that game and now must play their second game in a row on the road. Kansas is just 9-4 in Big 12 play now, having lost two of their last three games. They play at Iowa State tonight. The Cyclones have just four wins in conference play, but all four have come at home where they are 4-1 in Big 12 action their last five games. Iowa State is coming off a home win over Oklahoma, 88-80. I like taking the points here at home with a good home team like Iowa State. Play Iowa State |
02-12-18 | Notre Dame +10.5 v. North Carolina | Top | 66-83 | Loss | -106 | 5 h 56 m | Show |
Notre Dame brings a modest two game win streak into today's game at North Carolina. The Irish have had a rough time in ACC play, going just 5-7 in conference play. North Carolina is 19-7 S/U on the year and 14-10 ATS. The Tar Heels are 8-5 in ACC play and 6-6-1 ATS. The line is a bit out of control right now at NCU -10.5 points. My number has the Tar Heels closer to six or seven points. The Irish should also be well rested for this contest, having played just two times in the last week and neither game very taxing. Irish also have revenge for a home loss they should have won against this NCU team. I'm taking the points here with Notre Dame. |
02-11-18 | Illinois State +5.5 v. Valparaiso | 58-74 | Loss | -100 | 5 h 5 m | Show
Missouri Valley action today has Illinois State (14-11 S/U, 10-11 ATS) playing at Valparaiso (12-14 S/U, 9-13 ATS). Illinois State brings a four game win streak into today's contest. They also have covered three of their last four. Valpo has struggled, losing two straight and seven of the last eight games. In addition, the club has covered just one game in their last six tries. My recent form numbers have Illinois State a favorite in this game. Take the points with the visitor. Play Illinois State. |
02-10-18 | USC +5.5 v. Arizona | 67-81 | Loss | -105 | 12 h 2 m | Show
A big PAC-12 conference game here today as USC (17-8 S/U, 16-9 ATS) plays at Arizona (19-6 S/U, 8-15 ATS). The Trojans would like to snap their two game road losing streak here today. USC had won six straight before their recent road losses. USC has also been good at covering spreads, going 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games. Arizona also comes into today with a two game losing streak after their home loss to UCLA, 74-82. The Wildcats have not been good at covering, going just 1-5 ATS in their last six and 2-8 ATS their last 10. My numbers have these teams very evenly matched. I like the way USC covers the spread, unlike Arizona. I'll take the points here with the dog. Take USC. |
02-10-18 | Rider -10 v. Marist | 89-79 | Push | 0 | 9 h 46 m | Show
Metro Atlantic play has Rider ((18-7 S/U, 13-7 ATS) playing at Marist (5-20 S/U, 10-9 ATS) today. Rider has been very good, winning seven straight games and covering 10 of the last 13 games. It has not been a good year for Marist, winning just five games on the season. The team has lost seven of its last eight games in conference. They did hang close in their game at Rider though, losing just 57-60 and covering the double digit number. Rider has been very good covering on the road, evidenced by their 10-3 ATS mark. I don't see them having any issues covering this large number here today. Play Rider. |

The Scarlet Knights have also struggled to cover spread, going 1-5 ATS their last six games. They face a Nebraska team that has won four straight games and six of the last seven. The Huskers have also been great vs the number, covering six straight and going 13-1-1 their last 15 games. Nebraska is an excellent home team and should have little trouble covering this game today. Play Nebraska. |
02-10-18 | Loyola-Chicago -3.5 v. Indiana State | 75-71 | Win | 100 | 4 h 48 m | Show
Loyola Chicago has had an excellent season, posting a 20-5 S/U record and 14-6 ATS mark. The Ramblers have covered nine of their last 10 games and are 30-12-1 ATS their last 43 road games vs a team with a winning home record. Indiana State is 12-13 and coming off a home blowout loss to Missouri State, 62-81. It was the teams second consecutive loss on its home court. My recent form numbers have Loyola a double digit favorite here today. The Ramblers are just too good for the Sycamores today and I'll lay the points with Loyola Chicago. |
02-10-18 | Fordham v. Duquesne -8.5 | 80-57 | Loss | -100 | 2 h 48 m | Show
Early action on Saturday has Fordham (5-14 S/U, 3-7 ATS) playing at Duquesne (15-10 S/U, 10-7 ATS). Fordham has had a tough time in Atlantic 10 conference play, winning just three of their 11 games both S/U and ATS. They have also covered just Two games on the road this season. Duquesne looks to snap a two-game losing streak today. The Dukes have been sharp on their home court, posting a 5-1 ATS record their last six games. Duquesne just the much better team here and should have no trouble covering this line. Play Duquesne. |
02-09-18 | Kent State +6 v. Ball State | Top | 68-87 | Loss | -105 | 9 h 48 m | Show |
Friday MAC action has Kent (12-12 S/U, 10-8 ATS) playing at Ball State (15-9 S/U, 7-11 ATS). Kent enters play tonight 6-5 in conference play. Kent had covered five straight before dropping their last two. Ball State is also 6-5 in conference play, but only 2-9 ATS. Ball State has had trouble covering at home lately, dropping their last four on their own court against the number. My recent form numbers have Ball State from one to three point favorite. Line just too high on the home club here tonight. Play Kent State. |
02-09-18 | Minnesota v. Indiana -6.5 | 56-80 | Win | 100 | 7 h 8 m | Show
BIG 10 action has Minnesota (14-12 S/U, 9-15 ATS) playing at Indiana (13-12 S/U, 15-10 ATS). Both these clubs in the mid to lower part of the conference standings. With lots of good teams in the Big 10, a .500 record just won't cut it. Minnesota has been horrible of late, losing six straight and going 2-9 in conference play. In addition, they have covered just once in their last six and twice in their last 10. Indiana has won just one game in their five, but have covered five of their last six. The Hoosiers have been a good covering team, now 8-3 ATS in their 11 conference games. This is my top play for Friday and it's on Indiana. |
02-08-18 | Washington State v. Oregon State -9 | 62-94 | Win | 100 | 9 h 32 m | Show
PAC-12 action tonight has Washington State (9-13 S/U, 9-12 ATS) playing at Oregon State (11-11 S/U, 8-14 ATS). Washington State is the worst team in the PAC-12, winning just one game and losing nine games in conference play. The Cougars have been horrible on the road, going 0-7 ATS in their last seven games and 0-5 in their last conference road games. Oregon State should have an excellent chance here tonight to snap its four game losing streak. The Beavers have been decent at home, covering three of their last five. Pretty big number here for the Beavers to cover tonight, but against this Cougars team, should be no problem. Play Oregon State. |
02-08-18 | Portland State v. Montana -8 | Top | 60-80 | Win | 100 | 7 h 3 m | Show |
My Big Sky conference GOY here tonight has Portland State playing at Montana. Portland State has covered just one time in their last six games. The club is also just 4-6 S/U in conference play. Montana is 18-5 on the season and a very nice 15-5 ATS. The Grizzlies are unbeaten in conference, with a perfect 11-0 Record. They are also impressive vs the number, with a 9-1-1 ATS mark. In fact, the Grizzlies have yet to fail to cover on their home court this year. Portland State might also be without one of its leading scorers tonight in guard Deontae North, who is facing a possible suspension. With or without North, I like Montana in a big win here tonight. Play Montana |
02-08-18 | Duke v. North Carolina OVER 165.5 | 78-82 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 2 m | Show
ACC action tonight has two heavyweights battling it out as Duke (19-4) takes on North Carolina (17-7) in a Carolina rivalry. I'm looking at the total in this one tonight. Both of these teams have been excellent over bets this year. Duke is 15-6 O/U on the season while NCU is 14-9. Duke is also 17-5 O/U in their last 22 road games and 20-8 O/U in their last 28 dating back to last season. The Tar Heels are 17-5 O/U in their last 22 home games and 5-1 O/U in their last six ACC contests. The last eight meetings between these clubs they are 5-2-1 O/U. Both teams score in bunches and a lot, so I'm sticking with what they do best, score! Take the OVER. |

02-07-18 | California v. Colorado -10 | 64-68 | Loss | -105 | 10 h 34 m | Show
PAC-12 action tonight has California (8-17 S/U, 9-12 ATS) playing at Colorado (13-10 S/U, 11-11 ATS). The Bears finally got a win in conference play last game with a home win over Oregon State, 74-70. The win snapped a nine game conference losing streak. They haven't done much better vs the number, going 3-7 ATS their last 10 games. Colorado hasn't been much better, winning at home last time over Utah, 67-55. The Buffs have been decent at home, going 4-1 S/U and ATS in conference. This is strictly a home play here on Colorado. They play excellent at home and Cal is just a terrible team. Play Colorado. |
02-07-18 | Kansas State v. Texas -5 | 67-64 | Loss | -105 | 7 h 33 m | Show
Big 12 action tonight has Kansas State (16-7 S/U, 8-12 ATS) playing at Texas (15-8 S/U, 11-8 ATS). Kansas State is 6-5 in conference play (2-3 on the road). The Cats have not covered in any of their last three games. In addition, they have scored 56, 56 and 51 in their last three games. Texas is 3-1 in their last four games and 4-0 ATS. The Longhorns are also 6-5 in conference S/U but have a better spread record at 8-3 ATS. My recent form numbers have Texas as a double digit favorite here tonight. I like the Longhorns on their home court. Play Texas. |
02-07-18 | Marquette v. Seton Hall -6 | 88-85 | Loss | -102 | 6 h 33 m | Show
Big East Conference matchup tonight as Marquette (14-10 S/U, 10-12 ATS) takes on Seton Hall (17-6 S/U, 11-12). Marquette looks to snap a four game losing streak tonight. They lost three straight at home and are now 4-7 in conference play. Now they take to the road for three straight games. Seton Hall is coming off a road loss at Villanova, 76-92. The Pirates have been almost perfect at home this year, posting a 11-1 record. Lay the points with the home team here tonight. Play Seton Hall. |
02-06-18 | Nebraska +3 v. Minnesota | Top | 91-85 | Win | 100 | 10 h 44 m | Show |
A Big 10 conference game has Nebraska (17-8 S/U, 16-6 ATS) playing at Minnesota (14-11 S/U, 9-14 ATS). Nebraska comes into play tonight with a three game win streak. They have also won five of their last six games. They have done even better vs the number, going 5-0 their last five and 12-1-1 ATS their last 14. Minnesota, conversely, has a five game losing streak and has lost eight of the last nine. The Gophers are also 1-4 ATS their last five and 1-7 ATS their last eight. Not sure how the Oddsmaker has Minnesota as a three-point favorite. My recent numbers how Nebraska as a double-digit favorite. This is a big play for me tonight. Take Nebraska. |
02-06-18 | Miami-OH +8 v. Western Michigan | 64-68 | Win | 100 | 8 h 53 m | Show
MAC action here tonight has a pair of 13 win teams facing off as Miami Ohio plays at Western Michigan. Miami has won two straight games and four of the last five. They are just 6-4 S/U in MAC play and 6-3-1 ATS. Western Michigan is coming off a road loss to Buffalo 86-92. They are now 5-5 in conference play and 5-5 ATS. These clubs are pretty evenly matched here tonight, I'm a bit surprised the odds are now 8-points on Western. I think that is just too much. Take Miami Ohio |
02-06-18 | Pennsylvania +5.5 v. Princeton | 82-65 | Win | 100 | 7 h 53 m | Show
A classic Ivy league basketball meeting here today as Penn takes on Princeton. The Quakers have won three straight and six of their last seven games. They are 5-0 in conference play, 3-2 ATS. These teams opened Ivy play back on Jan 6 with Penn taking the game on their home court, 76-70 as a 4.5-point favorite. Princeton is 15-6 on the season and is coming off a OT loss at home to Brown, 100-102. The loss drops the Tigers back to 3-2 in conference play, 2-3 ATS. After tonight's contest, Princeton will hit the road for a four-game road stint. Penn has the edge this year against their long time hoop rivals. Getting 5.5 points is just a bonus. Take Penn. |
02-05-18 | Bucknell -7.5 v. Lehigh | 89-92 | Loss | -105 | 7 h 4 m | Show
Patriot League Action here on Monday as Bucknell (17-8 S/U, 3-2 ATS) plays at Lehigh (10-13 S/U, 1-1 ATS). Not a lot of spreads posted on these clubs, but Bucknell has more at 3-2 ATS on the season, They are 2-1ATS in conference and have just one loss against 11 wins overall. Bucknell has had little trouble in the conference, even on the road where they have won their conference road games by 12, 20, 8, 12, 5 and 17. All but one above today's 7.5-point posted number. Lehigh hasn't fared so well in conference, going just 5-7 on the season. These clubs met back in early January with Bucknell winning on their home court, 78-65. Bucknell is just the much better team here and I don't mind laying this price on the road. |
02-03-18 | Pacific -5 v. Pepperdine | 81-72 | Win | 100 | 11 h 1 m | Show
West Coast conference matchup here tonight late as Pacific (11-13 S/U, 12-9 ATS) takes on Pepperdine (4-19 S/U, 6-16). Pepperdine definitely the worst in this conference having won just four times on the season and and once in conference. That lone win came at home over Loyola Marymount, 71-70. The team is also doing terribly against the spread, covering just one time in their last nine attempts. Meanwhile, Pacific has covered eight of their last 10 with a push. Pacific the much better team here and with four days off before Gonzaga I don't see any look ahead. Play Pacific. |
02-03-18 | Drake v. Bradley -7.5 | Top | 78-68 | Loss | -105 | 9 h 1 m | Show |
Missouri Valley conference game here today has Drake (12-12 S/U, 12-8 ATS) playing at Bradley (17-7 S/U, 13-7 ATS). Drake tries to snap a three-game losing streak this evening at Bradley. Drake is 6-4 in conference play and 6-4 ATS. Bradley comes into tonight riding a four game win streak. They have also covered their last four gaems. Bradley has yet to lose against the spread at home this year, posting a 8-0-1 ATS mark. That's pretty impressive as they play at such a high level on their home court. I'll take Bradley tonight and lay the points. |
02-03-18 | Kansas State +8.5 v. West Virginia | 51-89 | Loss | -103 | 7 h 43 m | Show
Big 12 action today has Kansas State (16-6 S/U, 8-11 ATS) playing at West Virginia (16-6 S/U, 8-10 ATS). Kansas State coming off a home loss to their intra state rivals Kansas, 56-70. The loss dropped the Wild Cats to 6-4 in conference play. West Virginia looks to turn things around. After a excellent non-conference schedule that saw the club lose just one game, they are 5-5 in conference play and losers of three straight. In addition, they are 0-3 ATS their last three and 2-5 ATS their last seven. West Virginia is a eight point favorite here today, but I have them a favorite over West Virginia, at least in recent form (last eight games). I like the points here against a struggling West Virginia team. Play Kansas State. |
02-03-18 | Minnesota v. Michigan -12 | 73-76 | Loss | -105 | 5 h 3 m | Show
: Big 10 action today has Minnesota (14-10 S/U, 8-14 ATS) playing at Michigan (18-6 S/U, 12-8 ATS). The Golden Gophers have had a tough time in conference play, losing four straight and going 2-7 overall. They haven't done any better vs the number, losing four straight and going 2-7 ATS. This team has to be tired, they have played just one home game in their last six games. That takes a toll on any team. Michigan has been fair in conference play, going 6-3 S/U and 6-2-1 ATS. The Wolverines have lost just one home game this entire season, that coming on Jan 9th to Purdue, 69-70. Michigan laying double digits here on Saturday should be no trouble for this Wolverine team against a road weary Gopher squad. Take Michigan. |
02-03-18 | Missouri State v. Loyola-Chicago -6.5 | 75-97 | Win | 100 | 5 h 43 m | Show
Missouri Valley conference play today has Missouri State (15-9 S/U, 8-12 ATS) playing at Loyola Chicago (18-5 S/U, 12-6 ATS). Missouri State will try and snap a four game losing streak today. The Bears are 4-11 ATS their last 15 Saturday games, 0-4 ATS in their last four road games and 0-8 ATS their last eight overall (including conference play). Loyola Chicago is coming off a rare loss at Bradley, 67-69. The Ramblers had won seven straight games before that setback. The Ramblers are now 8-2 in conference play and 7-3 ATS. LCU is also 11-5-1 ATS their last 17 vs a team with a .600 or above win percentage. I like Loyola a lot here today. Play the home club. |
02-02-18 | Illinois-Chicago +8.5 v. Oakland | 79-73 | Win | 100 | 8 h 55 m | Show
Horizon league action tonight has Illinois Chicago (12-11 S/U, 10-9 ATS) playing at Oakland (14-9 S/U, 7-13 ATS). UIC has been red hot, winning their last four in conference and seven of their last eight. Their one loss came at home to this Oakland club, so there is some revenge here tonight. Oakland is coming off a road loss to Wright Tate, 51-64. It was the club's four road game in a row before returning home tonight. Oakland has split their last four conference home games, but they are 0-4 ATS. In fact, they are just 2-7 ATS their last nine. I like the points here tonight with the visitor. Play Illinois Chicago. |
02-01-18 | San Francisco v. St. Mary's UNDER 138 | Top | 43-79 | Win | 100 | 9 h 19 m | Show |
I'm looking at the UNDER here tonight as a big play. San Francisco has been a better under team on the road this year, evidenced by their 4-5 O/U mark. They are also 17-35 O/U the last 52 games following an ATS win. St Mary's has also been a good under team. The Gaels are 0-6 O/U in their last six home games, 0-4 O/U in their last four overall, 29-62-1 O/U their last 92 after a straight up win. The last seven meetings between these clubs have seen five unders and just two overs. I like the UNDER tonight. |
02-01-18 | SMU v. Tulsa +5.5 | 67-76 | Win | 100 | 6 h 19 m | Show
American Athletic action tonight as SMU (15-7 S/U, 7-9 ATS) takes on Tulsa (11-10 S/U, 11-7 ATS). The Mustangs are 5-4 in conference play this season. Tulsa has covered five of its seven home games this season. I like getting the points with the home club. Take Tulsa. |
02-01-18 | Middle Tennessee +3.5 v. Old Dominion | 66-59 | Win | 100 | 6 h 18 m | Show
Conference USA action tonight has Middle Tennessee State (MTS) playing at Old Dominion (ODU). MTS is 16-5 S/U and 11-7 ATS on the season. They have an excellent conference record, going 8-1 S/U and 5-3 ATS. ODU also has just one conference loss this season, but has covered just two of its last seven games. Two of the conference's best here tonight, but I like the points as my numbers point to this line favoring MTS. Take Middle Tennessee State. |
02-01-18 | Wichita State v. Temple UNDER 143.5 | 79-81 | Loss | -107 | 5 h 18 m | Show
I'm looking at the total in the American Athletic conference game tonight between Wichita State and Temple. Wichita State is 18-4 S/U on the season, but just 8-11 ATS. The Shockers have also been a much better under team on the road. They have gone under in their last two road games and six of their last seven. Temple is just 11-10 S/U on the season and can have trouble scoring. They have had 60 or less points in three of their last four games. In fact, they have scored 39 just a few weeks ago at Central Florida. Defensively they can play good at times, evidenced by holding three of their last four opponents to under 60 points. I like the UNDER here tonight. |
01-31-18 | Connecticut v. UCF UNDER 122 | 61-70 | Loss | -105 | 7 h 6 m | Show
American Athletic play tonight has U Conn playing at Central Florida. I'm looking at the OVER in this contest. U Conn has lost three of its last four games allowing 73 or more points in three of those games. UCF has also lost three of its last four games. We have a very low total on this game, around 123 points. U Conn has been a decent over team on the road, with three of their last four going over and five of their last 8 going over. I like the over here tonight against this low total. Play over. |
01-31-18 | Wyoming -4.5 v. Colorado State | 91-86 | Win | 100 | 7 h 5 m | Show
Mountain West action here tonight as Wyoming (14-7 S/U, 9-10 ATS takes on Colorado State (10-13 S/U, 6-12 ATS). The Cowboys started conference play poorly, going just 2-3 in their first five games. However, they have since won three straight including two road wins over Utah State and San Jose State. Colorado State will try and snap a four game losing streak tonight. They have lost home games to rival Air Force and UNLV and are off two road losses. They are also 0-3-1 ATS in their lat four games. My numbers show Wyoming as a nearly double-digit favorite off their recent form. I like the Cowboys here tonight. Play Wyoming. |
01-30-18 | Xavier -4.5 v. St. John's | 73-68 | Win | 100 | 8 h 21 m | Show
Big East action tonight has Xavier 19-3 S/U, 15-7 ATS playing at St Johns (10-12 S/U, 9-11 ATS). The Muskateers are 9-4 ATS vs the Big East this season. They are also 22-8 ATS in their last 30 games and 11-4 ATS in their last 15 away games. The Red Storm has been a terrible covering team, going 1-5 ATS in their last six at home, 2-5 ATS in their last 7 overall. Xavier just a 4.5 or 5 point favorite here tonight. My numbers have them at 8.5 overall and double digits in recent form. Big play here tonight on Xavier. |
01-30-18 | Southern Illinois v. Drake -3 | Top | 78-67 | Loss | -107 | 8 h 41 m | Show |
Southern Illinois (14-9 S/U, 7-9 ATS) plays at Drake (12-11 S/U, 12-7 ATS). The Salukis have won three straight coming into tonight's contest. They are 6-4 in conference play. Up until this three game win streak, the Salukis were just 2-7-2 ATS in their previous 11 games. In addition, SIU is just 3-6 ATS on the road this season. Meanwhile, Drake has been a very good home team, covering five of their six posted games. Drake is 6-4 in conference, but 4-1 at home in conference. I like the home court here with Drake tonight. Play Drake. |
01-30-18 | TCU v. Oklahoma State +1 | 79-66 | Loss | -103 | 7 h 42 m | Show
TCU has not done well in conference play, going just 3-6 S/U and 4-5 ATS thus far. The Horned Frogs are coming off a road loss at Vanderbilt, 78-81 as three point road favorites. Oklahoma State is 13-8 on the season, but is coming off a pair of conference road losses. They return home where they are 3-1 S/U in conference play. The Cowboys are 44-20-3 ATS at home vs a team with a losing road record. Oklahoma State has covered the last four against TCU on their home court. They are also 4-1 ATS in the last five overall meetings. I like Ok State here tonight. |
01-29-18 | Iona -2.5 v. Fairfield | 100-103 | Loss | -108 | 9 h 34 m | Show
Metro Atlantic action tonight has Iona (13-8 S/U, 10-7 ATS) playing at Fairfield (7-13 S/U, 6-10 ATS). The Iona Gaels are now 4-1 ATS in their last five on the road. In addition, they are 7-2 in conference play. The Fairfield Stags are just 4-10 ATS against a winning team the last 14, 1-7 ATS in their last eight overall (All conference games). The Stags have just two conference wins against 7 losses. Line has Iona a 3.5 point favorite tonight. My own numbers have Iona double digits in recent play and at least six overall. I like Iona here tonight. |
01-28-18 | Connecticut v. Temple UNDER 130.5 | 57-85 | Loss | -110 | 17 h 46 m | Show
I'm looking at the under in this American Athletic conference matchup between U Conn and Temple. U Conn has been a very good under team with their last five going UNDER. During that span they have scored 115, 142, 122, 124 and 115 points. Today's total of 130 would have had four of those games go under. Temple has also been a good under play, with their last three going under the number and seven of the last eight going under. I like this one UNDER again. |
01-28-18 | George Washington v. St Bonaventure -12 | 52-70 | Win | 100 | 9 h 46 m | Show
Early Sunday action finds George Washington (9-11 S/U, 6-10 ATS) playing at St Bonaventure (13-6 S/U, 7-9 ATS). GW is just 2-5 in Atlantic 10 Conference play. The club has also been terrible at covering spreads, going just 1-5 ATS their last six. Moreover, on the road they are just 2-7 ATS. St Bonny's has struggled in conference play too, going 3-4 S/U and 2-5 ATS. However, those three conference wins all came at home and their four losses on the road. Bonny's laying 12 here on Sunday, by my number has them even higher at 15, 18 and 15. Take the home team here with St Bonaventure. |
01-27-18 | Stanford +6.5 v. UCLA | 73-89 | Loss | -109 | 13 h 26 m | Show
PAC 12 action here as Stanford (11-10 S/U and ATS) plays at UCLA (14-7 S/U and 9-12 ATS). Stanford had been 5-1 in conference play before losing it's last two games. The Cardinal still are a great covering team though, going 7-1 ATS in conference. UCLA is only 5-4 in conference and 5-4 ATS. The Bruins have lost three of their last four games both S/U and ATS. WHen a team has a winning record like UCLA but losing against the number, it tells me the oddsmaker over compensates for them. I think UCLA is one of those teams people like to play and they are paying for it. Play Stanford. |
01-27-18 | San Diego State v. UNLV OVER 158.5 | 78-88 | Win | 100 | 13 h 10 m | Show
San Diego State has always been known as that defensive school. That isn't the case this season. This edition of the Aztecs basketball team can score and they are coming off a 97 point performance at Colorado State. In fact, they haven't scored under 73 points in their last seven games. This has resulted in a 6-2 O/U mark their last eight. UNLV isn't called the Running Rebels for nothing. They like to push the ball and that has resulted in a 11-3-1 O/U mark their last 14 games. UNLV can score, but they also give up lots of points. I like this one to FLY over the total tonight. |
01-27-18 | Colorado State v. New Mexico OVER 149.5 | 65-80 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 59 m | Show
I like the over in this game. One big reason is that Colorado State can give up points. Their last game out they gave up 97 points to San Diego State in a 78-97 loss. In fact, they are 6-1 O/U in their last seven games. New Mexico has had no problem scoring eithe, with their last five games coming in at 75 or more points. The Lobos last three games have all gone OVER with the totals at 169, 166 and 154. All those above today's 149.5 posted total. Take the OVER here and enjoy the show. |
01-27-18 | Colorado State v. New Mexico -10.5 | 65-80 | Win | 100 | 12 h 56 m | Show
Mountain West action tonight has a pair of 10 wins teams facing off. Colorado State is 10-12 on the season with a 6-11 ATS mark. The Rams have lost three straight in conference and are 3-6 S/U overall. They have done slight better vs the number, going 4-4-1 ATS. New Mexico also is 10-11 S/U, but a bit better vs the number at 10-8 ATS. There is one big reason I like the Lobos here tonight, they are at home. New Mexico is won it's last six home games and are 4-0 ATS their last four. This one is a home side play here on New Mexico. |
01-27-18 | Iowa v. Nebraska -4.5 | 84-98 | Win | 100 | 11 h 7 m | Show
Iowa brings a 11-11 record into today's game at Nebraska. The Hawkeyes have had a tough time in conference play, going 2-5 S/U and ATS. Iowa is coming off a home win over Wisconsin, 85-67. Meanwhile, Nebraska is having a good year with a 15-8 record and 14-6 ATS mark. The Huskers are just 5-3 in conference play, but have covered 7 of their eight Big 10 games. In fact, Nebraska has a 10-1-1 ATS mark their last 12. I like the home club here, play Nebraska. |
01-27-18 | Colorado +10 v. Arizona State | 66-80 | Loss | -103 | 11 h 58 m | Show
Colorado comes into this game off a two game losing streak. The Buffaloes have covered five of their last seven games though. They face a 15-win Arizona State team tonight. However, ASU has not covered spreads, going 0-5 in their last five games. The Sun Devils are coming off a home loss to Utah in OT, 77-80 as eight- point favorites. Getting double digits with Colorado tonight too much to pass on considering ASU can't covers spreads these days. Take Colorado. |
01-27-18 | Wake Forest v. Louisville -9 | 77-96 | Win | 100 | 9 h 18 m | Show
Wake Forest brings a losing 8-12 record to Louisville today. The Demon Deacons are also just 6-11 against the spread and 3-6 ATS on the road. Louisville is 15-5 S/U on the season and 10-8 ATS. Wake has been horrible in conference play, winning just one game in eight games. They are also just 2-6 ATS. Louisville has been good vs the number, going 6-1 ATS in their last seven games. I like Louisville here in a lopsided win. |
01-27-18 | UC-Santa Barbara -11.5 v. UC Riverside | Top | 76-69 | Loss | -105 | 11 h 57 m | Show |
Cal Santa Barabara having an excellent season with a 15-5 S/U and 13-4 ATS record. The team has also done great covering spreads on the road where they are 9-2 ATS. Can's say same for UC Riverside, which is just 5-15 on the season and 5-9 ATS. Riverside is 0-6 in conference play and has a eight game losing streak. They also come into tonight riding a four game spread losing streak. This one has Santa Barbara Blowout all over it. Play Cal Santa Barbara. |
01-27-18 | Southern Illinois v. Missouri State UNDER 134.5 | 79-77 | Loss | -105 | 9 h 0 m | Show
I'm looking at the under here today. Missouri has not scored a lot of points, with three of their last four coming in at 63 or less. They can play defense too, with four of their last five not breaking 65. That has resulted in four of their last five games going UNDER. Mississippi State has also been a good under play with five of its last seven going under. MSU has been held to under 69 points in five of their last six games. This should be a lower scoring game and I like the UNDER. |
01-27-18 | TCU -3.5 v. Vanderbilt | 78-81 | Loss | -105 | 5 h 8 m | Show
Big 12 Conference play as TCU (16-5 S/U, 10-9 ATS) plays at Vanderbilt (7-13 S/U, 3-13 ATS). TCU has struggled in conference play, going just 3-5 S/U. That should change today against a very poor Vandy club. Vandy is 2-6 S/U and 3-5 ATS in conference play. The Commodores have covered just three games all season and two of those have come in their last two games. TCU laying just four here on the road, my numbers have them at least a seven point favorite. Play TCU. |
01-27-18 | Texas Tech v. South Carolina +3.5 | 70-63 | Loss | -103 | 1 h 17 m | Show
Big 12 play has a very good Texas Tech team playing at South Carolina. Tech is 16-4 on the season and 8-8 against the number. Tech has fallen on hard times though, losing three of their last five games. In addition, they are 0-5 ATS in their last five. South Carolina is 13-7 S/U and 10-9 ATS on the season. The Gamecocks have won three of their last four games both S/U and ATS. Tech not playing well of late and that favors the home team here. Play South Carolina. |
01-26-18 | Buffalo -7.5 v. Ohio | Top | 73-66 | Loss | -105 | 9 h 10 m | Show |
Buffalo (15-5, 11-5 ATS, plays at Ohio U (9-10 S/U, 5-7 ATS) tonight in a MAC contest. Buffalo has been great, going a perfect 7-0 S/U and 6-0-1 ATS in conference play. Buffalo has yet to score less than 83 points in any of those conference games while holding its opponents to under 70 points in five games. Ohio will have its hands full tonight as the Bobcats are just 1-6 in conference play S/U and 2-4-1 ATS. The Cats are just 1-2 at home, last getting pummeled by Toledo 57-91. My recent form number has Buffalo as a 17 point favorite here, well above the 7.5-point line. I love this side tonight. Play Buffalo. |
01-25-18 | Pacific +6 v. San Francisco | 67-69 | Win | 100 | 9 h 38 m | Show
West Coast action has Pacific (10-11 S/U, 10-8 ATS)playing at San Francisco (11-10 S/U, 6-10 ATS). Pacific has done well in conference play, going 5-3 S/U and 6-1-1 ATS. San Francisco is coming off a home win over Pepperdine, 80-73. The win snapped a three game losing streak. SF is only 1-3 ATS their last three and 4-7 ATS their last 11. San Fran is a 5.5 point favorite here tonight. A bit high by my numbers, which has SF just 3 overall and a dog in recent form. I like the points here tonight. Take Pacific. |
01-25-18 | South Florida v. Tulane -13 | 80-75 | Loss | -105 | 7 h 27 m | Show
American Athletic play tonight has South Florida (7-13 S/U, 4-12 ATS) playing at Tulane (12-7 S/U, 7-7 ATS). South Florida having a horrible season. The Bulls have lost seven straight games, all conference contests. In addition, they have covered just one time in their last eight games. Tonight they play at Tulane, a team also hungry for wins. Tulane is just 3-4 in conference play, but has covered its last two games. Kind of surprised the line has dropped to 13 in this game. My number has Tulane a 17.5 point favorite. I'm laying the points with the home team today. Play Tulane. |

01-25-18 | Southern Utah v. Montana -17.5 | Top | 47-71 | Win | 100 | 7 h 28 m | Show |
Big Sky conference play has Southern Utah (8-10 S/U, 10-6 ATS) playing at Montana (14-5 S/U, 13-4 ATS). Southern Utah has had a rough time in conference play, going 2-5 S/U and ATS. In fact, Southern has covered just two of its last eight games. They have to now play at a very good Montana club. The Grizzlies are perfect in conference play with a 7-0 record both S/U and against the spread. In fact, Montana has covered it's last 12 games. That's amazing considering that the oddsmaker usually corrects for those streaks. Montana is a team that can blow out this Southern Utah club very easily and that's just what I look for tonight. Play Montana. |
01-25-18 | Eastern Illinois v. Belmont -14 | 59-81 | Win | 100 | 7 h 38 m | Show
Ohio Valley play tonight has Eastern Illinois (7-12 S/U, 5-12 ATS) playing at Belmont (15-6 S/U, 13-5 ATS). EIU has won just one game in its last four and is 3-5 overall in conference play. The club has had trouble covering spreads too, going just 3-9 ATS their last 12 games. Meanwhile, Belmont having an excellent season with four straight wins and a 10-1 record their last 11. The team is also 7-1 S/U in conference and has covered five of the last six games. Big number here for the home team to cover, but I my numbers show they can do it. Play Belmont. |
01-24-18 | Air Force +9 v. Utah State | 49-71 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 21 m | Show
Mountain West play tonight has Air Force (8-10 S/U, 8-4 ATS) playing at Utah State (10-11 S/U, 8-10 ATS). Air Force opened conference play with four straight losses, but have rebounded with two wins on the road at San Jose and at Colorado. The Falcons have been very good vs the number, covering their last five games. Utah State looks to snap their four game losing streak tonight. They are coming off a home loss to Wyoming, 77-85. In addition, the Aggies have covered just one of their last four games. My recent form number actually has Air Force the favorite here and with a 9-point line on Utah State, I like Air Force here to cover. |
01-24-18 | Auburn v. Missouri UNDER 146.5 | 91-73 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 21 m | Show
SEC action tonight has Auburn (17-2 S/U, 12-5 ATS) playing at Missouri (13-6 S/U, 10-8 ATS). I am using the total in this contest as my SEC Total of the Year. Auburn has been a really good play of late, going 0-5 O/U their last five. Missouri has also seen their last four games go under the total. The Tigers haven't been scoring many points with 49 in their last game at Texas A&M and 59 the previous game vs Tennessee. Missouri is 4-10 O/U in their last 14 games and 9-22 O/U the last 31 games following an ATS loss. I like this one under a lot tonight. Play UNDER |
01-24-18 | Nebraska v. Rutgers UNDER 127.5 | 60-54 | Win | 100 | 6 h 21 m | Show
Big 10 action tonight has Nebraska (14-8 S/U, 13-6 ATS) playing at Rutgers (12-9 S/U, 8-5 ATS). I'm looking at the under in this contest. The Huskers have been a very good under play with their lat three games going UNDER and six of their last seven going UNDER. In fact, of their seven conference games, six have gone under. Rutgers has had trouble scoring points, with just 48 in their last game vs Michigan. In fact, two of their last three games the Scarlet Knights have scored in the 40's. The defense isn't bad, allowing under 70 in five of their last six (one game in OT). I like tonight's game to go UNDER. |
01-24-18 | Mercer v. East Tennessee State -9 | 75-84 | Push | 0 | 6 h 20 m | Show
We move to the Southern Conference tonight for our Wise Guy Hi-Roller play. Mercer is 10-10 S/U on the season, but just 4-10 ATS. Mercer has played a lot of road games and that's resulted in a 3-8 ATS mark. The team is 3-4 in conference play (1-5-1 ATS). East Tennessee State has been very good, posting a 16-4 overall mark and a 13-3 spread record. ETS is a perfect 7-0 S/U in conference and 6-1 ATS. In fact the team has now run their win streak to 10 games. They have done great against the spread, covering 12 of their last 13. The line has dropped to nine on ETS here tonight, but my recent for number has them at 13. I like the home squad a lot here tonight. Play East Tennessee State. |
01-23-18 | Texas A&M -1.5 v. LSU | 65-77 | Loss | -113 | 8 h 59 m | Show
SEC play tonight finds Texas A&M (13-6 S/U, 7-9 ATS) playing at LSU (11-7 S/U, 7-6 ATS). A&M started conference play horribly, losing its first five games. However, the Aggies have bounced back with two straight wins. LSU has been more the opposite, starting 2-1 in conference and since then losing three straight both S/U and ATS. The Tigers are coming off a road loss to Vandy, 71-77. They also lost back-to-back home games to Alabama and Georgia (both as the favorite). The Aggies have had recent luck playing LSU, covering six of the last eight meetings. I'm taking Texas A&M here tonight. |
01-23-18 | Missouri State v. Bradley -1 | 52-72 | Win | 100 | 7 h 0 m | Show
Missouri Valley showdown here as Missouri State takes on Bradley. I'm looking at the under here tonight between these clubs. Missouri State has been playing solid defense, allowing just two of their last nine opponents to score more than 64 points. Of those nine, five of those scored in the 50's and Mo State was 1-8 O/U. Bradley has not been a big scoring team, 8th in the conference among 10 teams. Bradley has been a great under team, evidenced by their 4-17 O/U record their last 21 games and 3-8 O/U record their last 11 home games. I like this game to go UNDER tonight. |
01-23-18 | Missouri State v. Bradley UNDER 127 | 52-72 | Win | 100 | 7 h 60 m | Show
The Missouri State Bears (15-6 S/U, 8-9 ATS) take on Bradley (14-7 S/U, 10-7 ATS) tonight. The Bears have lost three of their last five conference games including last time out at Drake, 58-61. More worrisome is their 0-5 ATS record their last five games. Bradley has been one of those teams that plays well on its home court, but not good away. The Braves are 0-4 in conference on the road and 4-0 in conference at home this season. They are 3-0-1 ATS at home in those wins and 0-4 ATS on the road. In fact, the Braves have not lost to number on their home court this year, going 6-0-2 ATS. I'm taking Bradley here, strictly based on their being home. |
01-23-18 | Clemson v. Virginia -9.5 | 36-61 | Win | 100 | 6 h 0 m | Show
My top play this year in the ACC goes tonight as Clemson (16-3 S/U, 10-6 ATS) takes on Virginia (18-1 O/U, 12-4 ATS). Both these teams having excellent seasons. Clemson started conference play with three wins, but has gone just 2-2 since. The Tigers record not so good vs the number, covering just two of their last six games and 3-5 overall on the road. Virginia has lost just one game this season, that coming at West Virginia back in early December. Since that loss, the Cavs have gone 10-0 including a perfect 7-0 in ACC play. The Cavs have also covered five of their last six games. I like the Cavaliers a lot here tonight. This team is at home where they have had little problems and Clemson has struggled recently in conference. Play Virginia. |
01-22-18 | Kansas State +5.5 v. Baylor | 90-83 | Win | 100 | 9 h 16 m | Show
Big 12 action tonight has Kansas State (14-5 S/U, 7-9 ATS) at Baylor (12-7 S/U, 7-5 ATS). The Wildcats are just 3-3 in conference play, though they have won two straight with wins over TCU and Oklahoma. In addition, they have covered four straight games. The Bears have struggled, losing three of their last four in conference and winning just two of seven. Oddsmaker has installed the Bears as 5 point favorites here and it's up to 5.5. My number has them at three, but my recent numbers favor Kansas State. In addition, the road team has covered the last five in this series. Play Kansas State tonight. |
01-22-18 | North Carolina v. Virginia Tech +4 | 69-80 | Win | 100 | 7 h 15 m | Show
ACC conference play tonight has North Carolina (16-4 S/U, 11-7 ATS) playing at Virginia Tech (13-6 S/U, 8-7 ATS). The Tar Heels opened conference play losing two of their first three games, but have won four straight since then. They have covered just four of their nine road games though. Virginia Tech is just 2-4 in conference play. The Tar Heels have won seven straight in this series, but have covered just twice. Last season, NCU won this game 75-70, but failed to cover the double-digit line. The Hokies have done well at home, going 24-10-1 ATS in their last 35. I look for Tech to give North Carolina all it can handle here tonight on its home court. |
01-20-18 | Gonzaga -21 v. Santa Clara | 75-60 | Loss | -105 | 18 h 42 m | Show
Bailout Blowout Game of the Week: Lots of teams pad their non-conference schedule with puffcakes to get those wins. Not this Gonzaga team. The Bulldogs played one of the more ambitious non-conference schedules in the county. That makes them doubly tough as they enter conference play. The Zags were a perfect 6-0 in West Coast play until they lost last time out at home to their rivals, St Marys, 71-74. Meanwhile, Santa Clara had a big upset win at San Francisco last game, 65-62. The win improved the club to 4-2 in conference play, though the cover was just their third in their last 11 games. Santa Clara showed some spunk in that road win, however they will face an upset Gonzaga team looking to atone for their home loss last game. Take Gonzaga here in a Bailout Blowout win. |
01-20-18 | Wright State -3 v. Wisc-Milwaukee | Top | 61-66 | Loss | -108 | 18 h 42 m | Show |
Horizon League Game of the year: Wright State has been red-hot, winning eight straight games and going a perfect 7-0 in conference play. In addition, Wright has covered four of its last five games and is 9-4 ATS on the road this season. Wisconsin Milwaukee will try and snap a four-game losing streak today. The club has also been horrible against the number, going 0-4 ATS their last four and 2-11 ATS their last 13. Two of my numbers have Wright a huge favorite here, we're talking 17 points and 13 points. The oddsmaker has Wright just three points and that means a huge difference in my favor. This is a big play for me today on Wright State. |
01-20-18 | UNLV v. Colorado State +3.5 | 79-74 | Loss | -109 | 15 h 52 m | Show
I think there is great disappointment in Vegas about this UNLV team. 2nd year HC Menzies had that initial year out of the way and brought in some of the best recruits in the country. Their top recruit for this year is Brandon McCoy a 6-foot-11 forward from San Diego. McCoy hasn't disappointed though as he has really shined in his freshman year. Still, after a promising 11-2 start to the season the club has gone just 2-3 since losing its last three home games. In fact, UNLV is 0-8 ATS their last eight games. Colorado State is 2-3 ATS in the Mountain west conference. The Rams have covered four of their last six games though. CSU always seems to give UNLV fits on their home court. I'll take the points here with CSU in what could easily be another straight up win against the Rebels. Play Colorado State. |
01-20-18 | LSU v. Vanderbilt | 71-77 | Loss | -105 | 11 h 40 m | Show
SEC action has LSU (11-6 S/U, 7-5 ATS) playing at Vanderbilt (6-12 S/U 1-13 ATS). LSU has lost two straight games in conference after winning two of three. The Tigers look to bounce back here against one of the worst teams in the conference. Vandy is 1-5 in conference both S/U and ATS. There aren't many teams that have this bad of a spread record as the Commodores have just one cover on the entire season against 13 losses. Moreover, that one cover came on the road. At home they are 0-8 ATS. My numbers are the deciding factors for me and all my number point to LSU anywhere from a 3-point favorite up to a 17 point favorite. That's a large swing, but that shows just how bad this Vanderbilt team is. I'm taking LSU and rating them my Inner Circle play on Saturday. |
01-20-18 | Ohio State -9 v. Minnesota | 67-49 | Win | 100 | 10 h 30 m | Show
Big 10 action today has Ohio State (16-4 S/U, 10-7 ATS) playing Minnesota (14-7 S/U, 8-11 ATS) at Madison Square Garden. The Buckeys look like one of the teams to beat in the Big 10. They are 5-0 both S/U and ATS in conference play and have won 11 of their last 13 games. The Gophers have struggled in conference play, going just 2-4 so far. In addition, they have covered just 1 of their last five games and 3 of their last 12 overall. When I look at my own power ratings and thus my own lines, this is one of the biggest differentials of the day. Ohio State's recent form has them over 20 point favorite by my recent form numbers. I can't ignore my own numbers, especially in recent form. I'm taking Ohio State here from Madison Square Garden. |
01-18-18 | UCLA v. Oregon State +1 | 63-69 | Win | 100 | 10 h 17 m | Show
More PAC-12 action finds UCLA (13-2 S/U, 8-10 ATS) playing at Oregon State (10-7 S/U, 7-10 ATS). UCLA is 4-2 in conference play, coming off a loss at home to Colorado, 59-68. The Bruins have split their road games against the number, going 3-3 ATS. Oregon State is 2-3 in conference play, coming off a pair of losses at Arizona State and Arizona. A very competitive PAC-12 means looking for those spots where we can grab a win. Surprisingly, the two recent road losses were Oregon State's two of three true road games this season. Oregon State has covered three straight games and four of the last five. UCLA is an opponent that Oregon State can handle and I look for a Beavers' cover tonight. Play Oregon State. |
01-18-18 | Washington v. Utah -7 | 62-70 | Win | 100 | 9 h 7 m | Show
PAC 12 Action tonight has Washington (12-5 S/U, 7-9 ATS) playing at Utah (10-7 S/U, 7-8 ATS). Washington is 3-2 in conference play, coming off a loss at home to Stanford, 64-73. The Huskies had a long stretch this year where they didn't cover, going 1-7 over eight games. Lately they are 3-2 ATS. Utah started conference play with a pair of wins, however since they they are 0-4 both S/U and ATS. It's been tough though, playing against both Arizona and Arizona State, then losing on the road to UCLA and USC. Even with their recent losses, this is the kind of game the Utes can win, on their home court against mediocre PAC-12 opponent. Play Utah. |
01-18-18 | Washington State v. Colorado -8 | 73-82 | Win | 100 | 7 h 16 m | Show
Big PAC-12 game here tonight as Washington State (9-8 S/U, 9-7 ATS) plays at Colorado (11-7 S/U, 8-9 ATS). Washington State got its first win in conference play last game out, beat Cal, 78-52. That makes the Huskies 1-4 S/U both ATS their last five games. Colorado lost both its opening games of conference play, but is 3-1 since. The Buffaloes have wins at home over Arizona State 90-81 and over Arizona, 80-77. The Buffs have covered three of their last four games. Colorado laying seven tonight, with my recent form having the Buffs as 17 point favorites. I like Colorado at home tonight in a big win. |
01-17-18 | CS-Fullerton +5.5 v. UC-Santa Barbara | 64-83 | Loss | -104 | 10 h 31 m | Show
Two of the better Big West teams matchup tonight in Santa Barbara. Cal Fullerton (11-5 S/U, 9-3 ATS) has won four straight game and is perfect in conference play. In addition, they have been really good to bettors, covering three straight and seven of their last eight games. Santa Barbara has struggled in conference play, going just 1-2 S/U in conference play. Santa Barbara is a 5.5 point home favorite here. My recent form number has Fullerton about a 2-point favorite here tonight. I'm taking Fullerton. |
01-17-18 | Air Force v. Colorado State -7.5 | 76-71 | Loss | -106 | 9 h 31 m | Show
Mountain West play tonight has Air Force (7-10 S/U, 7-4 ATS) playing against their intra-city rivals, Colorado State (10-9 S/U, 6-9 ATS). Not a lot of home court favor here as both teams are from Colorado Springs. The Falcons finally won their first conference game last time out with a win over San Jose State, 78-71. That makes them 1-4 in conference play. Colorado State has won two straight games in conference after losing a pair. The Rams have also covered four of their last five games. Line here tonight has CSU at 8-points. My numbers have the Rams at about 10, but more recent form has them around 15. I'm taking Colorado State here tonight. |
01-17-18 | Dayton v. St. Joe's | 65-81 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 1 m | Show
Atlantic 10 conference play today has Dayton (9-8 S/U, 8-9 ATS) playing at St Joe's (7-9 S/U, 6-8 ATS). Dayton lost its opener in conference play and has since won three of four. The Flyers are off a big win over VCU, 106-79. They have also covered three of the last four games. St Joe's is 2-3 in conference play after losing two straight games. St Joe's is also just 2-3 AST in their last five games. This is game is basically a pick'em line, but my own numbers favor Dayton, especially in recent form where they really stand out. Take Dayton. |
01-16-18 | Drake +6.5 v. Northern Iowa | 54-68 | Loss | -105 | 7 h 43 m | Show
Missouri Valley Conference play here tonight has Drake (11-8 S/U, 10-5 ATS) playing at Northern Iowa (9-9 S/U, 5-8 ATS). Drake has won five of its six conference games thus far, with its only loss coming at Valparaiso. They have also covered five of those six games. Northern Iowa finally snapped its seven game losing streak with a home win over Valparaiso last time out. That win was also the team's first in conference play against five losses. My recent power numbers have Drake as a favorite, yet the oddsmakers have them as a 6.5 chalk. I'm taking Drake plus the points here tonight. |
01-16-18 | Toledo +1.5 v. Ohio | 91-57 | Win | 100 | 6 h 44 m | Show
MAC Action tonight has Toledo (11-6 S/U, 7-7 ATS) playing at Ohio U (8-8 S/U, 4-5 ATS). Toledo is 3-1 in the MAC thus far with their lone loss at Buffalo, 94-104. The club has covered two straight games and four of the last six. Meanwhile, Ohio is 1-3 in conference play and 1-2-1 ATS. The Bobcats are a one-point favorite here tonight. My numbers have Toledo a nice sized favorite in recent play. My trendfactor number also has Toledo the favorite here. I'm taking the visitor in Toledo. |
