11-21-19 | Wofford +3.5 v. South Florida | 55-69 | Loss | -108 | 19 h 55 m | Show
Both clubs still looking to reach that .500 mark and one of them will do just that tonight. Wofford, 2-3 S/U 1-3 ATS opened with home wins over Erskine and High Point before losing to William & Mary. They then hit the road where they lost to Butler and Missouri. South Florida is 1-2 and lost their last two after opening with a win over Arkansas Pine Bluff. They have been beat badly too, losing by 17 to Indiana Purdue as a 16.5 point favorite and losing to Boston College 60-74 as a 6 1/2 point favorite. South Florida looks over rated from the points they have had to lay and the outcome thus far. I'm taking the road team here. Play Wofford. |

11-21-19 | Florida v. St. Joe's +13.5 | 70-62 | Win | 100 | 14 h 55 m | Show
Charleston Classic first round action from Charleston, SC tonight has 15th ranked Florida taking on St Joseph's. Both teams come into tonight's contest at 2-2 S/U. Florida has lost to Florida State and U Conn while beating North Florida and Towson. The latter by just a 66-60 score as a 18-point favorite. St Joe's opened at home with a win over Bradley, 86-81 and then played three straight road games, going 1-2 both S/U and ATS. They did beat U Conn though on the road as a 15-point underdog. Both teams have U Conn in common with St Joe's beating them and Florida losing. Take the double digit points here with St Joe's. |
11-20-19 | Texas State +5 v. UNLV | 64-57 | Win | 100 | 20 h 15 m | Show
Texas State travels to the desert southwest to take on UNLV tonight. Texas State is 3-2 S/U and 2-1 ATS on the season. They have won all three of their home games, but lost both away games. UNLV is just 2-3 S/U and ATS on the season. the Rebels are off a win over Abilene Christian, 72-58, covering the 10.5-point line. The win snapped a three game S/U and spread losing streak. UNLV is laying five points here tonight, but according to all of my numbers that is a bit too high. I'm going to take the points with the visitor. Play Texas State. |
11-20-19 | UC-Davis v. CS Sacramento -3.5 | Top | 51-61 | Win | 100 | 19 h 44 m | Show |
This game moves away from Sac State's home court to a bigger venue, the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento. While it's listed as a neutral site, Sac State will obviously still be getting some home court value out of this game. Sac State is 2-0 S/U and 1-0 ATS after the start to their season. Have to throw out their first game, a laugher over Simpson University, 76-27. They then beat UC Riverside at home, 62-49, covering the 3-point line. Meanwhile, UC Davis already has five games under its belt. Davis is 2-3 S/U and 0-4 ATS. Like Sac State, you have to discard their lopsided win over William Jessup, 109-63. If we do, then Davis is just 1-3 S/U, 0-4 ATS. Sac State still at home here and I like them because my numbers have a big slant in their direction. Play Sacramento State. |
11-20-19 | Georgia Tech +4.5 v. Georgia | 78-82 | Win | 100 | 17 h 16 m | Show
Peach State battle here has Georgia hosting Georgia Tech. Both teams are undefeated in this young season with Tech coming in at 2-0 and the Bulldogs at 3-0. Tech opened with a road win over NC State, 82-81, covering the 7-point dog line. Then they went to Elon for a lighthearted 64-41 win as a 23-point favorite which they pushed. After today's road game, the Jackets return home for four games. Georgia has played its first three at home with wins over Western Carolina (91-72), Citadel (95-86) and Delaware State (101-65). Georgia has been scoring in bunches, averaging over 90 ppg this year. However, tonight will be their toughest opponent of the season. Don't look for those kinds of points tonight by the Bulldogs. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised by an outright Tech win here tonight. Play Georgia Tech. |
11-20-19 | Siena +6.5 v. Yale | 89-100 | Loss | -110 | 17 h 15 m | Show
Both of these teams enter today's contest at 2-2 S/U on the season. Siena has won both their home games and lost both their road games. They are 4-0 ATS overall though on the season. They are coming off a loss at Harvard, 55-59 as a 9-point dog. Yale is 2-2 S/U and 3-0 ATS on the season as they return home tonight after a two game losing road stint. They lost at San Francisco, 79-84 and then lost at Oklahoma State, 57-64. Siena getting 6 or 6.5 points here tonight. My number has this game closer to a three-point line. I'm taking the points here with a very good Siena club. Play Siena. |
11-19-19 | Houston v. Rice +12.5 | 97-89 | Win | 100 | 9 h 31 m | Show
Texas clash here on Tuesday as Rice hosts Houston. Houston is 1-1 both S/U and ATS on the season. The Cougars opened with a pair of home games, a win over Alabama State 84-56 and then a home loss to BYU, 71-72 as a 12-point favorite. Now they hit the road for tonight's game at Rice and then head to the Northwest to play Oregon. Meanwhile, Rice has won four of five games. They opened with a road loss to Arkansas, 43-91 and then wins over Penn, Wayland Baptist, Northwestern State and then last game at Cal Santa Barbara, 82-81 as a 9.5 point dog. Rice getting around 12-points on their home court is a lot of points. My own numbers say this should be closer to 7-points. Take the home team, play Rice. |
11-19-19 | Furman +3.5 v. Alabama | 73-81 | Loss | -107 | 9 h 30 m | Show
Furman opened the season with a 4-0 S/U and 3-0 ATS record. Furman has won road games at Gardner Webb (70-63) and Charleston Southern (91-47) and home games vs Loyola Chicago (80-63) and Southern Wesleyan (83-61). Now they get their stiffest competition in SEC opponent Alabama. The Tide opened with a home loss to Penn, 80-81 and then beat Florida Atlantic 78-59. Their last game they got blown out at Rhode Island, 78-93 as a 1-point favorite. Tonight, Furman getting points looks like a steal to me. Furman is hasn't lost yet and I don't see that happening tonight. Play Furman. |
11-19-19 | Manhattan +3.5 v. Samford | 57-70 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 1 m | Show
Manhattan off to a 2-0 S/U and 1-1 ATS start to its season. Manhattan opened with home wins over Delaware State (85-74) and Albany NY (57-51). Now they hit the road for five straight games beginning tonight at Samford. Samford already has five games under its belt with a 2-3 S/U and 0-3 ATS records. Samford has won both home games over non-Div 1 teams and then lost all three road games. Somehow Samford a 6 point favorite here tonight despite not covering a spread and Manhattan winning both its games straight-up. I'm taking the points here on Tuesday with the visitor. Play Manhattan. |
11-18-19 | Middle Tennessee +3 v. Coastal Carolina | 72-93 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 16 m | Show
Middle Tennessee State is off to a 3-0 start and 1-0 spread record to start their season. The Raiders haven't played anyone yet with Maryville, Lipscomb and Mars Hill on their win column thus far. Coastal Carolina is 1-2 S/U and 0-2 ATS so far. CC hasn't had any great competition either with home losses to Campbell and Northern Kentucky and their lone win over Hampden-Sydney. One of my numbers heavily favor the visitor in this one and early on I lean on those numbers a lot. I'm taking the small points here tonight with Middle Tennessee State. |
11-18-19 | Northern Colorado v. West Virginia -15.5 | Top | 61-69 | Loss | -107 | 8 h 16 m | Show |
Northern Colorado comes into tonight's contest at 2-2 S/U and 2-1 ATS. NCU opened with a loss at Texas, 45-69 and then returned home for two easy wins over Incarnate Word and Colorado College before a fourth game at Northern Iowa that they lost, 72-77. West Virginia is 2-0 S/U and 1-1 ATS on their young season. The Mountaineers opened at Akron with a 94-84 win and then returned home to beat a good Pitt team, 68-53 as a 1.5-point favorite. WVU laying around 15-points here tonight. NCU not a good road team and WVU will be up for a big game on their home floor. Play West Virginia. |
11-17-19 | Seton Hall v. St. Louis +5.5 | 83-66 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 6 m | Show
The Seton Hall Pirates opened the season with a 2-1 S/U and ATS record. After three home games, they hit the road for just one game today before returning home for two more games. The 12th ranked Pirates did lose their last game though, a 73-76 setback to Michigan State, though they covered the 5-point home line. Meanwhile, St Louis is 3-0 both S/U and ATS to start the year. The Billikins are playing their first six at home and are coming off a win over Eastern Washington, 82-60 as a 8.5 point favorite. Seton Hall laying six to seven points here today. That's too many points against a St Louis team that could easily win this game outright. I'm looking for the upset win here today. Play St Louis. |
11-17-19 | CS-Northridge v. Richmond -14 | Top | 62-90 | Win | 100 | 7 h 6 m | Show |
Cal State Northridge Matadors still looking for their first win of the season after a 0-4 start. The Mats got pummeled last game by Auburn, 70-116 as a 23-point dog. Northridge has also yet to cover a spread. This Northridge club isn't good at all, but they are even worse on the road. And it would figure that they are playing six of their first seven away from the Matadome. Richmond is enjoying life at home in the opening days of the season. The Spiders play their first six at home. They are 2-0 S/U and 0-2 ATS in those first two home games. The Spiders score a lot, but also give up a lot, allowing 98 and 92 in their first two games. Don't be surprised if Richmond cracks the 100 mark here today against Northridge. Lay whatever you need to with Richmond. |
11-16-19 | NC-Wilmington +17.5 v. Davidson | 49-87 | Loss | -110 | 19 h 2 m | Show
Davidson will look for its first win of the young season here today as they play its first home game against UNC Wilmington. Davidson opened with a neutral site loss to Auburn, 66-76 and then lost on the road last time out, 58-71 to Charlotte, failing to cover either spread. Davidson begins the first of a four-game home set. Wilmington opened with a home win over Johnson and Wales, 103-83, then a loss to North Carolina, 62-78 before beating Campbell, 81-76. UNCW covered their two posted games including that game against North Carolina where they were a 22-point dog. Wilmington a whopping 17.5-point road dog here today. While my numbers have them about this line, one of my indicators have a much lower number. Right now, UNCW has shown they can play against the Big boys and getting this many points is too many to pass on. Play North Carolina Wilmington. |
11-16-19 | Tennessee v. Washington +2.5 | 75-62 | Loss | -110 | 17 h 2 m | Show
A big matchup here on Saturday as the undefeated Tennessee Volunteers take on the 20th ranked Washington Huskies as these teams meet North of the border in Toronto in the Naismith Hall of Fame Classic. UW has already knocked off a big team, beating then No 16 Baylor in the Armed Forces Classic, 67-64. Washington then won their home opener against Mt ST Mary's, 56-46, failing to cover the 22-point line. Tennessee is 2-0 S/U and 1-1 ATS also. The Volunteers opened at home with a win over UNC Asheville, 78- 63 and then beat Murray State, 82-63. Washington is led by a pair of freshmen, Jaden McDaniels and Isaiah Stewart. The pair combined for 33 points in their win over Baylor. Tennessee is unranked, but finds itself installed as the 2-point favorite here today. I'm going to take the points with a Washington team that while young, looks to have plenty of talent. Play Washington. |
11-16-19 | St. Joe's +7.5 v. Loyola-Chicago | 68-85 | Loss | -108 | 14 h 1 m | Show
St Joseph's off to a 2-1 S/U and ATS start to their season. St Joe's opened with a home win over Bradley, 86-81, covering the 5-point dog line. Then they lost at Old Dominion, 69-82 and then pulled the big upset win at U Conn last time out, 96-87 as a 15-point dog. Loyola Chicago is off to a 1-2 S/U and ATS start. LCI opened with a win over UC Davis at home, 82-48 and then followed that with two losses, at Furman, 63-87 and at home to Coppin State, 72-76. The latter they were installed as a 23-point favorite. St Joe's getting seven points here is a bargain to me. They have played better ball so far and Loyola has already shown they can't be trusted even as a big favorite. Play St Joe's. |
11-15-19 | South Dakota State +6.5 v. Nebraska | Top | 73-90 | Loss | -109 | 8 h 15 m | Show |
South Dakota is 3-1 S/U and 2-1 ATS to start the season. The Jack Rabbits are coming off a loss at USC, their first loss and non-cover this season, 66-84 as a 15-point dog. They play at Nebraska tonight. The Cornhuskers open with five home games, but have dropped their first two games to lower conference teams. They lost their opener to UC Riverside, 47-66 in a blowout loss a 16-point favorite, then lost in OT to Southern Utah, 78-79. The Huskers looking for that first win tonight against really a even better South Dakota State squad from what they have faced thus far. Until these Cornhuskers prove they can win, they shouldn't be laying these kinds of points. Take South Dakota State. |
11-15-19 | Oral Roberts +12 v. Iowa | 74-87 | Loss | -108 | 7 h 14 m | Show
Oral Roberts is 1-2 S/U and 2-1 ATS to start their season. The Golden Eagles opened the season with a road loss at Oklahoma State, 75-80, but covered the 16-point dog line. Then they returned home to beat Houston Baptist and cover the 8.5 points chalk line, 95-81 before their last game a loss at Tulsa, 67-74, just missing the 6.5-dog cover. Iowa opens the season with six home games and has won the first vs Southern Illinois, 87-60, covering the 23.5 point line. Then the Hawkeyes got shocked by Depaul, 78-93, failing to cover the 9.5 point chalk line. Oral Roberts has played well vs a big team already and Iowa has shown they can lay an egg at home as a big chalk. I'm taking the points here today with Oral Roberts. |
11-14-19 | Siena +10.5 v. Harvard | 56-59 | Win | 100 | 8 h 11 m | Show
Both Siena and Harvard have started their respective seasons at 2-1 S/U. Siena opened with a home win over American, 96--80 and then lost on the road to Xavier, 63-81 and followed up with a home win vs St Bonny's, 78-65. Siena is 3-0 ATS on the season. They begin a four-game road trip here tonight at Harvard. Harvard one of the best Ivy league teams. They opened with a laugher against MIT, 84-27 and then lost on the road to Northeastern, 79-84 before returning home for a win over Maine, 68-46. This will be another tough test for Harvard here tonight. Harvard laying a lofty 10.5-points here tonight. Plus, Harvard has injuries. Guard Bryce Aiken is questionable with a calf injury and he's their best player, averaging 22.2 ppg. They are are going to be without Forward Seth Towns also. Not sure why this line is so big with a hurting Harvard team against a decent Siena squad. I'll take the points though. Play Siena. |
11-13-19 | Tennessee-Martin +1.5 v. Western Illinois | 98-91 | Win | 100 | 9 h 4 m | Show
Tennessee Martin opened the season with a pair of home games. They beat STLCOP in a lopsided 106-48 win with no posted line. Then they lost to East Tennessee State, 75-92 as a 10-point home dog, failing to cover the spread. They take to the road for a 3-game road swing starting tonight at Western Illinois. Western Illinois opened at Indiana and bog blow out, losing to the Hoosiers 65-98 and failing to cover the 21-point dog line. They then returned home and lost again to Stetson, 75-77 as a 6.5-point home chalk. They will look for their first win of the season here tonight. Western a small favorite here tonight. But my own numbers have TMU as the favorite in this one. I'll take the road team here tonight. Play Tennessee Martin. |
11-13-19 | Ohio +5 v. Iona | 81-72 | Win | 100 | 8 h 5 m | Show
Ohio U Bobcats have opened with a pair of wins to start the season. They won their opener at St Bonny's 65-53, covering the spread as an 11-point road dog. Then they returned home and beat Heidelberg, 88-50 with no posted line. Iona has just one game under its belt and that was an OT road loss to LaSalle, 64-70 as a 1-point favorite. Iona is a 5 1/2 point home favorite here tonight. One of my numbers has this about the right line, but my other number has Ohio U as the team to win this game. I'm taking the points and looking for an outright Ohio win. Play Ohio U. |
11-13-19 | LSU +3 v. VCU | Top | 82-84 | Win | 100 | 7 h 4 m | Show |
LSU plays its second game of the season here tonight at VCU. The Tigers opened the season at home five days ago with a win over Bowling Green, 88-79, but didn't cover the 13-point chalk line. Not much on tap for LSU after tonight's contest as they have Nicholls State and UMBC on deck. VCU will play six straight home games to start the season. They opened with a win over St Francis-PA, 72-58 and then beat North Texas, 59-56. They failed to covers double-digit spreads in both of those games. One of my numbers has LSU as the team that can win this game tonight. Early in the season I have to lean on those numbers and I will take the points tonight. Play LSU. |
11-12-19 | Texas-Arlington +5.5 v. Nevada | Top | 73-80 | Loss | -109 | 11 h 2 m | Show |
Texas Arlington is 2-0 S/U and 1-0 ATS to start their season. Arlington opened at home with a win over Texas-Dallas and then over a good Tulsa team, 73-59. Now Arlington hits the road for three straight tough opponents starting tonight with Nevada. Then they have to go to Oregon and then Gonzaga. Nevada lost its opener at home to Utah, 74-79 as a 5-point chalk and then beat Loyola Marymount at home, 72-67 but failing to cover the 9-point line. Tonight, Arlington a dog here against a team that has yet to cover. All my indicators are on the Arlington side here tonight. Play Texas Arlington. |
11-12-19 | Oral Roberts +6.5 v. Tulsa | 67-74 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 2 m | Show
Oral Roberts comes into its third game of the season tonight with a 1-1 S/U and 2-0 ATS mark. Oral Roberts put a bit of a scare into Oklahoma, losing 75-80 on the road as a 16-point dog. Then they returned home for a win over Houston Baptist, 95-81 for their second cover of the season. Tulsa opens with a 1-1 S/U and 0-2 ATS mark in its first two games. Tulsa also played Houston Baptist, winning by the slimmer margin of 80-72. Then they hit the road and lost at Texas Arlington, 59-73 and failing to cover the short 1.5 point dog line. Oral Roberts played Ok State to within just five points and now they get 6.5 at Tulsa. I'll take those points with a Oral Roberts team that looks better then they are getting credit for. Play Oral Roberts. |
11-12-19 | William & Mary +11 v. Wofford | 80-79 | Win | 100 | 8 h 2 m | Show
Both these teams come into today's game 2-0 on the young season. William & Mary opens with three road games and has wins at High POint 70-56 and then last game at American, 79-70. Wofford opens with three home games and has beat Erskine 86-63 and then High Pint, 89-61, covering the latter. My own numbers have Wofford lower than what the oddsmaker have on this game. I think this game will be much closer than the 11-point Wofford line indicates. I'm taking the points here. Play William & Mary. |
11-11-19 | Samford +9.5 v. Belmont | 63-95 | Loss | -105 | 7 h 60 m | Show
Samford is 1-1 S/U and 0-1 ATS on the season. Samford lost their opening game at Morehead State in OT, 86-90 as a 3.5 point favorite. They got their first win last game at home over Kentucky Wesleyan, 68-42. Belmont looking for its first win to go with that one loss. Belmont lost its only game this year, 72-79 at Illinois State as a 5.5 point favorite. My numbers have this game a lot closer than the current 8 to 9 1/2 point line on Belmont. My own personal ratings have Belmont closer to a 3 to 6 points chalk here. Have to rely on my numbers a bit more early in the year with not a lot to go off of. I'm going to take the points with Samford here on Monday. |
11-10-19 | James Madison v. Virginia UNDER 124 | 34-65 | Win | 100 | 7 h 53 m | Show
Let's face it, the hallmark of this Virginia championship team is their defense. They play the best defense in the country and it looks to be the backbone of the team again this year. In their opening game at Syracuse they held the Orange to jut 34 points. No 11 ranked Virginia held the Orange to just 17.6% shooting on 5 of 29 from 3-point and 23.6% overall shooting on 13 of 55 shots. That doesn't bode well for a lower echelon team like James Madison today. If the Cavs can hold a conference opponent like Syracuse to under 30% shooting, what will they do today? I'm playing UNDER today. |
11-10-19 | Arkansas-Little Rock v. Illinois State OVER 137 | 70-75 | Win | 100 | 5 h 53 m | Show
Arkansas LR opened its season with a road win shocker over Missouri State, 67-66 as a 13-point dog. Today they play again on the road at Illinois State before returning for one home game and then three more road games. Illinois State opens with three home games and won their first over Belmont 79-71. Illinois St was a 5.5-point home dog in that game. They just went under the 151.5 point total line. Today, that total line drops significantly to 137 or around there. I like the OVER as Illinois State will score and Arkansas LR should keep pace. Play the OVER. |
11-09-19 | South Dakota State +3.5 v. CS Bakersfield | 93-91 | Win | 100 | 25 h 10 m | Show
South Dakota State is 2-0 S/U and 1-0 ATS to start it's season. The JackRabbits opened with a win at home over Texas Rio Grande, 70-57 and then a home win over Peru State, 86-58. The JackRabbits hit the road now for three straight games beginning with today at Cal State Bakersfield and then to USC and Nebraska. Cal Bakersfield opened with a home win over Notre Dame de Namur Argo, 103-51. The Road Runners won't have an easy as a task here tonight against the Jack Rabbits. South Dakota State was an impressive 24-9 last year and a NIT postseason spot. I'm a bit surprised that Bakersfield is a home favorite here against a tough opponent like SD State. I'm going to take those points. Play South Dakota State. |
11-09-19 | Oklahoma v. Minnesota +5 | 71-62 | Loss | -112 | 23 h 11 m | Show
Oklahoma began it's season with a home win over Texas San Antonio, 85-67. The Sonners covered the 13-point line. Minnesota also had an easy opponent, winning at home over Cleveland State, 85-50 as a 21.5-point favorite. This game will be played on a neutral site at Sioux Falls, SD. Minnesota will stay on the road after this game, travelling to Butler and then to Utah. Oklahoma has a lot of newcomers this year with just a few players returning. This game will be a matchup of which team will gell the soonest with their core of new players. Both teams have a lot of new faces. Minnesota showed it can shoot well and that should serve them well here. I like the Gophers in this one plus the points. Play Minnesota. |
11-09-19 | Kansas State v. UNLV +5 | 60-56 | Win | 100 | 19 h 11 m | Show
Kansas State opened their season with a win at home over North Dakota State, 67-54. The Wildcats were 11-point favorites and just got the cover. Today, they travel to Nevada to take on UNLV. UNLV also opened their season with a win. They beat Indiana-Purdue at home, 86-71, covering the 11.5 point line. UNLV has the much more difficult early schedule with Cal and UCLA on deck. Kansas State has Monmouth then Arkansas Pine Bluff. I like UNLV on its home court getting points. Take the home dog here. Play UNLV. |
11-09-19 | San Diego State +4 v. BYU | 76-71 | Win | 100 | 19 h 10 m | Show
San Diego State opened up the season in fine fashion with a win at home over Texas Southern. The Aztecs are one of the teams expected to content for the title in the Mountain West this year. The Aztecs also got the cover in their first game, covering the 15-point chalk line. Sdg State travels to Provo today to take on BY and then returns home in four days to face Grand Canyon College. BYU opened the season with a home win over Cal State Fullerton. The Cougars play their first three games at home with Southern Utah up next. The Cougars covered their 14.5 point line over Fullerton ina a 76-58 win. Still, my own numbers actually favor San Diego State in this game and we are getting 4 to 5 points. I'm all over the visitor in this one. Play San Diego State. |
11-09-19 | Monmouth +8 v. Hofstra | 74-94 | Loss | -110 | 19 h 9 m | Show
Monmouth opened its season on the road at Lehigh, winning as a away dog, 66-62. Monmouth actually starts with five straight road games including Kansas State, Kansas and Pittsburgh after today. Hofstra opens with a pair of home games, losing their first game to San Jose State, 71-79. Hofstra was a 17-point favorite and lost outright. That leads to today's game. I know it's early, but my own numbers have a distinct advantage to the visitor here plus the generous points. I won't be surpsed at all with an outright Monmouth win. Play Monmouth. |
11-08-19 | Illinois-Chicago v. Memphis -19 | Top | 46-92 | Win | 100 | 18 h 1 m | Show |
Memphis has a young team as they enter 2019-20 season. There will likely be growing pains this season as this team develops. They can build though on what is a very good group of freshmen. Also expect this team to be very quick and uptempo, so covering lines like tonight that approach 20 points shouldn't be a problem. Illinois-Chicago won't shy away from the uptempo offense, so this should really be a high scoring game. But for me, Memphis just has too much talent for this ICU team. Play Memphis. |
11-07-19 | Seattle University v. Washington State -2.5 | 54-85 | Win | 100 | 9 h 8 m | Show
Washington State Cougars a small home favorite here over Seattle U. A little of a rivalry of these Washington teams. The Cougars looking to improve on a terrible 2018-19 campaign that saw them go 11-21. Seattle won this game last year, 78-69. Washington State will be guided by new head coach Kyle Smith. They also return five players from last year's team. The Cougars have done well vs the WAC, going 11-1 ATS their last 12 tries. I'm looking for the new Cougars' head coach to make a statement early here against these smaller teams. He doesn't want a repeat of last year. I'm taking Washington State and laying the small number. |

11-06-19 | Notre Dame +11 v. North Carolina | 65-76 | Push | 0 | 8 h 50 m | Show
Both these clubs opening their respective season tonight. Notre Dame did have a couple of exhibition tune-ups, a win over Captial University 72-43 and a win over Bellarime, 61-51. Tonight will be much more difficult as they are a double-digit dog to No. 9 North Carolina. These clubs open with an ACC matchup, first time the conference will be playing so many conference games before January. Notre Dame is led by John Mooney, who led the ACC in rebounds last year. Mooney is also a preseason all-ACC first team. Mooney is one of the few players to average a double-double. North Carolina will be without their guard, Brandon Robinson, tonight who will miss with a ankle injury. Can't go crazy in these early games, but I will take the Irish tonight plus the points. Play Notre Dame. |

11-05-19 | St. Mary's -4 v. Wisconsin | 65-63 | Loss | -109 | 10 h 52 m | Show
Late action on the hardcourt tonight is a good one with 20th ranked St Mary's playing Wisconsin in South Dakota. St Mary's is expecting big things this year as they return 88.2% of their scoring from last season and losing just one starter. This is also a very diverse team with nine international players, more than any other Div 1 team in basketball. Wisconsin coming off a fine season that saw the Badgers go 23-11 and 14-6 in Big 10. The Badgers lost to Oregon in the NCAA tournament. Wisconsin returns three starters but lost it's best player in Ethan Happ. It's been over 40 years since these teams last met. On this neutral court that favors Wisconsin a bit (6 hour drive from Madison), I'm still taking the more talented Gaels here tonight laying a small number. Play St Mary's. |
11-05-19 | Georgia Tech +7.5 v. NC State | 82-81 | Win | 100 | 22 h 9 m | Show
Georgia Tech opens college play against an ACC opponent, NC State. The Jackets closed last regular season with a win in Raleigh, 63-61 as Moses Wright hit 62 percent from the field for 18 points and eight rebounds. Wright looks to duplicate that effort here tonight in the team's opener in Raleigh. Tech finished last season with a 14-18 overall record and 6-12 in the ACC. They begin their fourth season under HC Josh Pastner. NC State was 24-12 last year and 9-9 in the ACC and begins its third season under HC Kevin Keatts. The Wolfpack made it to the quarterfinals of the NIT last year. What I like about this Tech team is that they return their top three scorers from last year. In fact they return their top 11 players from last year. They bolstered the roster with two nice transfers, Jordan Usher from USC and Bubba Parham from VMI. I like what Tech returns here this year and the points might be more than NC State should lay to a much improved Yellow Jacket squad this year. I'm taking Georgia Tech. |
11-05-19 | Arkansas-Little Rock v. Missouri State -13.5 | 67-66 | Loss | -105 | 22 h 39 m | Show
Opening night for both of these teams. Arkansas Little Rock begins the second year of Darrell Walker coaching era. Little Rock will have their work cut out for them against a very good Bears team here tonight. Mo State finished among the top of the Missouri Valley conference. Little Rock has never beaten Missouri State, with an 0-7 lifetime record. A lot of new faces this year to the Little Rock squad. For me, Missouri State always returns with a good squad that will compete for the conference championship. I'll lay the points here with the home team. Play Missouri State. |
11-05-19 | Appalachian State v. Michigan OVER 146.5 | 71-79 | Win | 100 | 8 h 53 m | Show
Michigan lost it's winningest coach to the NBA in the offseason and now has one of the program's bigger names taking over the HC in Juwan Howard. Howard makes his coaching debut tonight against Appalachian State. App State also has a new head coach in Dustin Kerns. I am looking at the over here tonight. The main reason is that Howard wants to play an up-tempo game with the Wolverines. That means more possessions and more scoring opportunities. This will lead to higher scoring games. There's going to be some adjustment time to this new head coaches on both sides and the new style of play for the Wolverines. However, this App State team is a good tuneup for Michigan and we can see this new up-tempo style on tap tonight. Play the OVER. |
11-05-19 | Bradley -5 v. St. Joe's | Top | 81-86 | Loss | -115 | 8 h 53 m | Show |
Bradley had an exhibition game that doesn't count in their record, but it was an cakewalk over Millikin, 91-52. Now the real season begins here at St Joe's. Bradley had a nice season last year, going 20-15 winning the Missour Valley Tourney title and going to the NCAA tournament. What I like about this year's edition is that the Braves return their top three scorers and five of their top seven from last year. Darrell Brown is back after leading the team in scoring last year. St Joe's was 14-19 last year and just 6-12 in the Atlantic 10. Doesn't look much better this year as the Hawks are picked to finish 13th in the conference. This Bradley team showed it can win on the road, taking 10 away games last year. I like Bradley a lot here tonight. Play Bradley. |
04-08-19 | Texas Tech +1.5 v. Virginia | Top | 77-85 | Loss | -103 | 44 h 38 m | Show |
It's the NCAA Championship game as Texas Tech takes on Virginia. It might not have been as bad as the Rams vs Saints, but a non-call at the end of the Auburn/Virginia contest likely cost Auburn a place in this game. Virginia, down by three with just seconds to brought the ball upcourt and the player dribbled the ball of his own shin. Stopped, grabbed the ball and clearly double-dribbled. Which should have turned the ball over to Auburn and then a likely foul and game winning free throws. The non-call led to a three-point foul and Virginia his all three foul line shots to win the game by one point. This matchup will be a pure defensive battle. Texas Tech has held four of their last five opponents to 58 or less points. Virginia has held three of their last five to under 56 points. This is an incredibly low total at 117.5, so I won't mess with the total. However, I think Texas Tech is the better team and while the line is Virginia -1, I look for Tech to win the Championship here on Monday. Play Texas Tech. |
04-06-19 | Texas Tech +2.5 v. Michigan State | 61-51 | Win | 100 | 79 h 46 m | Show
Final four action here with Texas Tech and Michigan State battling for the right to play in the NCAA Championship game. Texas Tech pulled one of the biggest upsets in the tournament by defeating Gonzaga, 75-69 as a 5-point dog. They also beat Michigan, Buffalo and Northern Kentucky. The Red Raiders have covered four straight games and seven of their last eight. Michigan State not only won the Big 10 tourney championship, but they have won four straight in the NCAA tourney, defeating Bradley, Minnesota, LSU and Duke. They have covered three straight and seven of their last nine games. Spartans laying 2.5-points in this game today. You can make a case for either side here, but I like the dog. I'm taking Texas Tech. |
04-04-19 | Lipscomb v. Texas UNDER 143 | 66-81 | Loss | -109 | 29 h 54 m | Show
NIT Championship game on Thursday has a very well known name in Texas and one you may not have heard of, Lipscomb. Lipscomb has won 29 games this season, most of those in the Atlantic Sun conference. If you look back to their non-conference games early in the season, they did beat SMU, TCU, Middle Tennessee State and lost to Louisville by just four-points. So this team really isn't a fluke playing in this game. Lipscomb is now 14-6 ATS on the road this season. Texas beat TCU to advance to today's title game, 58-44. The Longhorns have covered two straight, but just two of their last seven. Texas has won 20 games now on the season and really is more of a surprise being in this contest the way they played overall on the season. The Texas defense has really stepped up lately, holding TCU to 44 and Colorado to 55. The have gone under in two straight and five of their last six games. Look for this game to go UNDER here in the title game. Play UNDER. |

Texas has won 20 games now on the season and really is more of a surprise being in this contest the way they played overall on the season. Is Lipscomb for real? I think they are by virtue of how they played non-conference opponents this year. I'm taking the small points with them here on Thursday. Take Lipscomb. |

04-02-19 | Texas v. TCU -1 | 58-44 | Loss | -115 | 84 h 51 m | Show
The NIT semifinals move off the home courts and into Madison Square Garden in New York. And in this game two very familiar opponents meet up as the Big 12's Texas Longhorns take on their intra-conference rivals, TCU. Texas beat South Dakota State, Xavier and Colorado on their home court during this NIT tournament, but has covered just one of their last six games. The Longhorns lost to TCU at home back on March 9, 56-69. The teams split their two games this year. Now comes the rubber match. TCU beat Sam Houston, Nebraska and Creighton in this NIT tournament. They, unlike Texas, covered all three games. The Horned Frogs are also 17-7 ATS their last 24 games on a neutral site. TCU has covered five of the last six meetings with Texas and I look for another Frogs win here tonight. Play TCU. |
04-02-19 | Wichita State +1 v. Lipscomb | 64-71 | Loss | -108 | 4 h 29 m | Show
NIT Semifinals from Madison Sq Garden in New York finds Wichita State playing little known Lipscomp College. Wichita made it three games into the American Athletic Conference tournament before losing to Cincinnati, 63-66. They then opened up NIT play with three straight road wins, beating Furman, Clemson and then Indiana. They have covered six straight games and eight of their last nine games. Moreover they are now 13-3-1 ATS in their last 17 games. The Lipscomb Bison play in the Atlantic Sun conference with teams like Liberty, North Alabama, Stetson, etc. They have won 28 games this season and three straight in the NIT, scoring at least 86 points in each game. In fact, this Lipscomb team has scored 80 points or more in six if their last eight games. They had a bad stretch, failing to cover on seven straight, but since are 4-1 ATS. This team can score points, that's for sure. Still, this is not an Atlantic Sun team they are playing here tonight. I like Wichita State to cover this one. Play Wichita State. |
03-31-19 | Michigan State +2.5 v. Duke | Top | 68-67 | Win | 100 | 15 h 24 m | Show |
Elite 8 action continues here on Sunday as Michigan State takes on Duke The winner of this game moves on to the Final Four. No 2 seed Michigan State defeated No 3 seed LSU on Friday night, 80-63. Duke is the team that has given Michigan State nightmares. Duke owns an 11-1 record against Michigan State's HC Izzo, including 3-1 in the NCAA tournament. Duke has not had an easy route to get to this spot, barely getting by Central Florida 77-76 and having to watch two layups roll off the rim in the final seconds. Then in their last game, they narrowly got by Virginia Tech, 75-73, failing to cover the 7-points and 13-points in those two games. The Blue Devils are 0-3 ATS their last three and 2-6 ATS their last eight games. Michigan State has covered their last two, four of the last six and six of their last eight games. Sure, Michigan State has not fared well against the Blue Devils. But, this Blue Devil team looks primed to lose and I expect that here on Sunday. I'm playing Michigan State. |
03-31-19 | Auburn +5 v. Kentucky | 77-71 | Win | 100 | 3 h 0 m | Show
Even though Auburn is a high seed, they pulled what many consider a huge upset in beating one of the overall favorites in North Carolina. And, they beat them easily at 97-80. This Auburn team is a very fast paced team, they like to run up and down the court and really just ran NCU right out of the building from the start. Now they can know off another big team in Kentucky. Auburn has covered two straight games and five of their last seven on neutral courts. This Kentucky team has had its letdowns during the season, but not so far in the NCAA tournament, going 3-0 both S/U and ATS after beating Houston last game, 62-58. Though the Cougars could have easily won that game leading late over Kentucky. Really you can make an argument for either side at this point, but I'm much more impressed with the wins of Auburn, especially how they easily beat such a good North Carolina squad. I'm taking Auburn again here today. |

03-31-19 | Auburn v. Kentucky OVER 142 | 77-71 | Win | 100 | 3 h 0 m | Show

And the way that the Tigers are able to control the tempo is what really impressed me in that win. They love to run and we'll see that again here today. Look for Auburn to push the pace and Kentucky will be forced to keep up. Take the OVER. |

03-30-19 | Purdue +4.5 v. Virginia | 75-80 | Loss | -107 | 11 h 9 m | Show
More Elite Action in the NCAA tournament today from Louisville Kentucky as Purdue takes on No 1 seed Virginia. Purdue opened with a win over Old Dominion, then beat Villanova and last game defeated Tennessee in OT, 99-94. The Boilermakers have covered their last three games and four of the last five. Purdue has also been great out of conference, going 41-19 ATS their last 60 non-conference games and 9-4 ATS their last 13 NCAA tournament games. Virginia, well, they are winning but not covering. The Cavs opened with a scary game against Gardner Webb where they trailed at the half. Then they beat Oklahoma and last game against Oregon. They have covered just one of their last four games. Virginia is now 1-6 ATS their last seven games in the NCAA tournament. Can't trust this Virginia team laying points. I'll take the dog here tonight. Play Purdue. |
03-30-19 | Texas Tech +4.5 v. Gonzaga | 75-69 | Win | 100 | 5 h 1 m | Show
Elite 8 action here in the NCAA tournament on Saturday from Anaheim, CA has Texas Tech taking on Gonzaga. Tech opened NCAA tourney play with a win over Northern Kentucky then beating Buffalo and last time downing Michigan. Tech has covered all three of its NCAA tourney games and also 12 of its last 14 overall games. The Red Raiders are also now 8-0 ATS in their last eight games against a team with a 60% winning mark or better. Gonzaga is one of the favorites to be in the Championship game. They opened with a win over Fairleigh Dickinson, then beat Baylor and last time beat Florida State, 72-58. The Zags are just 2-2 ATS in their last four games. They are also 1-4 ATS their last five after covering their last game. Tech has been red-hot covering spreads and I'll take the points here with the Red Raiders. Play Texas Tech. |
03-29-19 | Houston +3 v. Kentucky | 58-62 | Loss | -105 | 23 h 34 m | Show
Midwest Regional Semifinals here on Friday from Kansas City, Mo has Houston taking on Kentucky. This looks to be a great matchup with Houston and their 33 wins taking on Kentucky and their 29 wins. Houston won their opener against Georgia State, 84-55 and then beat Ohio State 74-59, holding both teams under 60 points. The Cougars covered both games and have covered four of their last six games. The are now 35-16-2 ATS their last 53 games overall and 20-9-1 ATS their last 30 games against an opponent that wins 60% or more of their games. Houston is also 9-3 ATS their last 12 on a neutral site. Kentucky opened tourney play with a win over Abilene Christian 79-44 and then a win over Wofford, 62-56, covering both games. The Wildcats are still only 3-4 ATS their last seven games and 1-4 ATS their last five after covering the previous game. I'm not convinced this Wildcat team is as good as their record. But Houston is the real deal and I'm taking the short dog with the Cougars on Friday. Play Houston. |
03-29-19 | Virginia Tech +7 v. Duke | 73-75 | Win | 100 | 22 h 13 m | Show
East Regional semifinals from Washington, DC has Virginia Tech playing at Duke. Virginia Tech opened NCAA tournament play with a win over St Louis, 66-52 and then beat Liberty, 67-58 covering both games. The Hokies have covered four of their last five and six of their last seven. The Hokies are now 6-2 ATS their last eight neutral site games. Duke opened NCAA tourney play with a win over North Dakota State, 85-62, then beat Central Florida, 77-76 not covering either game. In fact, the Blue Devils are just 1-3 their last four games and 1-5-1 ATS their last seven games. Duke is also now 0-4 ATS their last four NCAA tournament games. For some reason Duke just seems to be doing enough to win. It might be because they don't have a very deep bench or they a re just conserving their energy. Either way, I'm taking the points here on Friday with Virginia Tech. |
03-29-19 | Auburn v. North Carolina UNDER 165 | 97-80 | Loss | -110 | 20 h 57 m | Show
NCAA Sweet 16 here on Friday from Kansas City, MO has Auburn taking on North Carolina. Auburn opened NCAA tourney play with a win over New Mexico State, 78-77 and then beat Kansas, 89-75. The Tigers barely got by New Mexico State and didn't cover that game as a 6-point favorite. They did cover against Kansas as a 2-point favorite. The Tigers are now 2-6 ATS their last eight non-conference games and 1-4 ATS their last five vs the ACC. They also don't do well against teams that win over 60%, evidenced by their 5-12 ATS record the last 17. Clemson has gone under in their last five tries against an ACC team. North Carolina opened with a win over Iona, 88-73 and then beat Washington, 81-59. The have covered five of their last six games and gone under in their last three games. The Tarheels held a very good Washington offense to just 59 points last game. NCU is now 20-8-2 ATS their last 30 tries against the SEC. NCU is also a good under team, going under in four of their last five neutral games, under in their last five NCAA tourney games and under in 13 of 18 vs a team with a 60% or better win record. Moreover, against the SEC they are 0-6 O/U in their last six games. I like North Carolina to control the temp of this game and that for me is the UNDER for you total players. |
03-29-19 | Auburn v. North Carolina -5 | Top | 97-80 | Loss | -110 | 20 h 57 m | Show |
NCAA Sweet 16 here on Friday from Kansas City, MO has Auburn taking on North Carolina. NCU is also a good under team, going under in four of their last five neutral games, under in their last five NCAA tourney games and under in 13 of 18 vs a team with a 60% or better win record. Moreover, against the SEC they are 0-6 O/U in their last six games. I like North Carolina here in the Sweet 16 to cover against Auburn. |
03-28-19 | Oregon +8.5 v. Virginia | Top | 49-53 | Win | 100 | 22 h 3 m | Show |
Oregon won the PAC-12 Championship and has played its last six games on a neutral court. During those six games they are 6-0 S/U and ATS. In fact, they have covered 10 straight games now. They opened NCAA tourney play with a win over Wisconsin, 72-54 and then beat UC Irvine, 73-54. They have held five of their last six opponents to 54 or less points. Top seed in this region is Virginia and they have struggled in both their ACC tourney and this NCAA tourney. They lost to Florida State in the ACC tourney, 59-69 and then trailed Gardner Webb at halftime in the opening NCAA game. This is always a solid defensive team, but they are not the best offensive team. The have covered just one of their last three games. The Cavaliers are also just 1-5 ATS in their last six NCAA tourney games. I like the points here today with a very good Oregon team that is on a hot streak. |
03-28-19 | Florida State +7.5 v. Gonzaga | 58-72 | Loss | -107 | 19 h 38 m | Show
NCAA tournament West Region Semifinals from Anaheim have Florida State taking on Gonzaga. Florida State lost to Duke in the ACC tournament but has won its first two in the NCAA tournament. They beat Vermont to open the tourney and then Murray State last game, 90-62. The Seminoles have won eight of their last nine games. Gonzaga is expected to be in the final four if not the Championship game. The Zags got shocked in their own tournament, losing to St Marys 47-60. They rebounded with a win over Fairleigh Dickinson and then beat Baylor last games, 83-71. The Zags have covered just one of their last three games. They are also 3-8-1 ATS their last 12 in the NCAA tournament and 1-6-1 their last eight against the ACC. I like the points here with Florida State. |
03-27-19 | Colorado +6 v. Texas | Top | 55-68 | Loss | -110 | 20 h 40 m | Show |
NIT tournament quarterfinals action has Colorado playing at Texas tonight. Colorado has won its first two games in the NIT, defeating Dayton and Norfolk State and covering both games. The Buffaloes are 6-2 ATS their last eight games. The Buffaloes have also done well recently vs the Big 12, covering four straight. Texas barely has a winning record on the season at just 18-16. The Longhorns beat South Dakota State to open the NIT and then beat Xavier in OT, 78-76. The Longhorns have not covered any of their last five games. Now they have to lay 5 1/2 points to a Colorado team that is 23-12 on the season. I'll take the points here and wouldn't be surprised at all if Colorado wins this one outright. Play Colorado. |
03-27-19 | Lipscomb +3.5 v. NC State | 94-93 | Win | 100 | 20 h 36 m | Show
NIT tournament quarterfinals here today has Lipscomb at NC State. Lipscomb is out of the Atlantic Sun conference, which didn't have a conference tournament. The Bison have been a very good team against the spread, going 20-7-1 ATS their last 28 vs non-conference teams. They are also 10-4 ATS their last 14 against teams with a 60% win mark or better. As for the NC State Wolfpack, they have won two straight in the NIT, but failed to cover both against Hofstra and Harvard. Lipscomb has won 27 games this season and covered 12 of 18 on the road. I'll take the points here with the dog tonight. Play Lipscomb. |
03-26-19 | Wichita State +4.5 v. Indiana | Top | 73-63 | Win | 100 | 9 h 54 m | Show |
NIT quarterfinals action today has Wichita State playing at Indiana. Wichita State has had one heck of a late season run. The Shockers only loss in their last nine games was in their tournament to Cincinnati, 63-66. They have also been great for bettors, covering five straight, seven of eight and 12 of the last 15 games. Indiana lost in their opening Big 10 tourney game to Ohio State, 75-79. Then they opened the NIT with a win over St Francis of PA, 89-72 and then a win over Arkansas, 63-60. The Hoosiers have covered just one of their last three games. Wichita State getting four or 4 1/2 points is just too much for me to pass on tonight. Play Wichita State. |
03-25-19 | Coastal Carolina v. West Virginia -9 | Top | 109-91 | Loss | -109 | 17 h 39 m | Show |
CBI Tournament Quarterfinals as Coastal Carolina plays at West Virginia. Even though Coast Carolina made an early exit in the Sun Belt tournament by getting blown out by LA Monroe, they did open with a CBI win at home vs Howard, 81-72. However, they still didn't cover the 11-point line and have failed to cover any of their last three games. In fact, Coastal Carolina is now just 3-8 ATS their last 11 games. Now they go way up in class by playing Big 12 team West Virginia. The Mountaineers opened this tourney with a win over Grand Canyon, 77-63. They have covered three of their last four games. But why I really like West Virginia here tonight is that they play a team well below the competition level they have played all year. I believe this game is West Virginia's to win and cover. Play West Virginia. |
03-24-19 | Ohio State v. Houston -6 | 59-74 | Win | 100 | 8 h 26 m | Show
NCAA tournament 2nd round action from Tulsa, OK has Ohio State taking on Houston. Ohio State won its round one game over Iowa State, 62-59, covering the line as a 5-point dog. The game also went under the 140 posted total. The Buckeyes had a rare cover in the NCAA, their first in their last nine attempts. Houston lost in the conference tourney to Cincinnati, but opened NCAA play with a first round win over Georgia State, 84-55, covering the 12 1/2 point favorite line. The game also went under the total. Ohio State is not a good offensive team with, ranking 157th in offensive efficiency while Houston ranks 28th. Defensively, both teams are good, but Houston is really good, ranked 5th in defense efficiency. Ohio State is ranked 64th in defense efficiency. Houston is the much better team both defense and offensively. I like the Cougars to cover this one today. |
03-24-19 | Ohio State v. Houston UNDER 133 | 59-74 | Push | 0 | 8 h 25 m | Show

Defensively, both teams are good, but Houston is really good, ranked 5th in defense efficiency. Ohio State is ranked 64th in defense efficiency. This game looks to line up as an UNDER with two decent defensive teams. Take the UNDER. |

03-24-19 | Oklahoma v. Virginia -10 | 51-63 | Win | 100 | 8 h 38 m | Show
NCAA Tournament 2nd round action today from Columbia, SC has Oklahoma taking on Virginia. Oklahoma lost in the first round of the Big 12 tourney, but did win in the NCAA first round, beating Mississippi 95-72. IT was just the fourth cover for the Sonners in their last 13 NCAA tournament games. They are also 1-4 ATS in their last five games after a straight-up win. The Cavaliers got a scare in round one, trailing at the half to Gardner Webb. Virginia rallied big in the second half and almost covered the 21.5-point line before finally winning 71-56. The Cavs do well after an ATS loss, going 14-4 ATS their last 18 times. They are also 6-2 ATS their last eight non-conference games. Virginia is a top seed and while they looked bad in the first half in round one, I don't expect this to happen here tonight. I'm taking Virginia. |
03-24-19 | Liberty v. Virginia Tech -8 | 58-67 | Win | 100 | 8 h 27 m | Show
NCAA 2nd Round action on Sunday from San Jose, CA has Liberty taking on Virginia Tech. The Liberty Flames won 28 games so far, but that is by virtue of being in the Atlantic Sun conference. Still, they opened with a slight upset of favorite Mississippi State in round one, 80-76. Even with the cover, the Flames are still 3-9 ATS their last 12 on a neutral court. Virginia Tech comes out of the battle tested ACC conference where they have to play the likes of Duke, North Carolina and Virginia. The Hokies beat St Louis in round one, 66-52, covering the 10-point spread. The Hokies are now 6-1 ATS in their last seven neutral site games and 20-8 ATS their last 28 non-conference games. Liberty just way out of its class here today playing this tough ACC squad. I'm taking Virginia Tech today. |
03-24-19 | Xavier +6 v. Texas | Top | 76-78 | Win | 100 | 13 h 21 m | Show |
2nd Round NIT action here on Sunday has Xavier playing at Texas. Xavier won its opening NIT game over Toledo, 78-64 as a 6-point favorite. It was the fourth straight cover for the Musketeers and their ninth in their last 10 games. Xavier has done well against the Big 12 also, going 7-3-1 ATS their last 11 vs the conference. Texas won its opening round game over South Dakota State, 79-73 as a 7.5-point favorite. The Longhorns have now failed to cover any of their last four games. They are also 2-5 ATS in their last seven against the Big East. I'll be taking the visitor here on Sunday. Play Xavier. |
03-24-19 | Wichita State +7.5 v. Clemson | 63-55 | Win | 100 | 11 h 16 m | Show
NIT Tournament 2nd round action here on Sunday has Wichita State playing at Clemson. Wichita State won their opening round game at Furman, 76-70, covering as a 5-point dog. It was the fourth cover in a row for the Shockers. The Shockers are also 7-1 ATS in their last eight road games and 5-0-1 ATS against an opponent with a win percent above 60%. Clemson just got past Wright State in their opening NIT game, beating them by 75-69 as a 12-point favorite. It was the second straight failed cover for the Tigers. The Tigers are also 4-10 ATS in their last 14 non-conference games. I like the Shockers here on Sunday. Play Wichita State. |
03-23-19 | Villanova +4 v. Purdue | 61-87 | Loss | -110 | 21 h 39 m | Show
NCAA Tourney 2nd round action here on Saturday from Hartford, CT has Villanova taking on Purdue. Villanova won their conference tourney and opened round one with a win over St Mary's, 61-57, just missing the cover against the 4.5-point line. The Wildcats always look forward to playing Big 10 opponents, evidenced by their 11-2 ATS record their last 13 times against that conference. In addition, Villanova has been a very good bet in the NCAA tournament, covering 14 of their last 17 times. Purdue lost in their Big 10 opening tourney game to Minnesota, 73-75, but won their NCAA round one game over Old Dominion, 61-48. The Boilermakers are just 2-7 ATS their last nine against the Big East Conference. They are also 1-4 ATS their last five times after covering the previous game. Villanova has all the experience in the NCAA tournament and it shows with their excellent spread record. I'm taking the Cats here as they have the coaching and the experience. Play Villanova. |
03-23-19 | Baylor v. Gonzaga -13 | Top | 71-83 | Loss | -115 | 19 h 10 m | Show |
NCAA Tournament 2nd round action here on Saturday has Baylor taking on number one seed, Gonzaga. The 9th seeded Bears opened first round with a win over Syracuse, 78-69. The Orange were without their starting point guard, who was suspended for the game. This gave Baylor an edge and they won and covered the game. It was on the 2nd cover for the Bears in their last seven games. The Bears are also just 2-5 ATS in their last seven NCAA tournament games. Gonzaga had no trouble whatsoever against Fairleigh Dickinson, winning 87-49 as a 28.5-point favorite. Gonzaga looked bad in their conference tourney loss to St Mary's, losing by 23-points as a 14-point favorite. However, they redeemed themselves in the NCAA Round one. In fact, maybe that loss to St Mary's is just what the Zags needed to wake them up. Gonzaga has done well against he Big 12, going 9-3-1 ATS their last 12 meetings. I like Gonzaga here tonight so I will lay the points. Play Gonzaga. |
03-23-19 | Murray State +5 v. Florida State | 62-90 | Loss | -109 | 18 h 10 m | Show
NCAA Tournament 2nd Round from Hartford, CT has Murray State taking on Florida State. Murray State pulled a mild upset in round win by beating Marquette, 83-64 as a 3-point dog. The Racers have now covered two straight, five of the last six and eight of the last 10 games. In addition, they have covered five of their last seven NCAA tourney games. Florida State won, but didn't cover their first round game against Vermont, winning 76-69 as a 8.5-point favorite. The Seminoles have not failed to cover their last two games. They are also 1-4 ATS in their last five non-conference games. We are getting about five points here with Murray State and while they are the 12th seed and FSU is the 4th seed, I think these teams are much more evenly matched than their seeding suggests. I'm taking the points here with Murray State. |
03-23-19 | Wofford +6 v. Kentucky | 56-62 | Push | 0 | 15 h 60 m | Show
2nd Round NCAA tournament action here on Saturday from Jacksonville, FL has Wofford taking on Kentucky. Wofford got the slight upset win in round one by beating Seton Hall, 84-68 as a 2.5-point dog. It was the Terrier's 21st win in a row and their eighth cover in a row. In fact, the Terriers have now won 30 games on the season. Kentucky is the second seed in this region and they also opened first round action with an easy win over Abilene Christian, 79-44 as a 20-point favorite. The Wildcats though are just 2-5 ATS in their last seven games. This is a very good Wofford team that will have upset on their mind on Saturday. I'm taking the points with the Terriers. Play Wofford. |
03-22-19 | St. Louis v. Virginia Tech -10 | 52-66 | Win | 100 | 12 h 55 m | Show
NCAA tourney 1st round action continues here on Friday with action from San Jose, CA as St Louis takes on Virginia Tech. St Louis won the Atlantic 10 conference winning four games in four days and covering three of the four. The Bilikens were 6-2 ATS their last eight games. Virginia Tech lost in the ACC tournament to Florida State in OT, 63-65. The Hokies are 8-3 ATS their last 11 non-conference games and 5-1 ATS in their last six neutral sites. The Bilikens are just 1-5-1 their last seven against the ACC and I see another ACC loss today for them. Play Virginia Tech. |
03-22-19 | Ohio State v. Iowa State -5.5 | 62-59 | Loss | -100 | 92 h 16 m | Show
NCAA tourney 1st round action on Friday from Tulsa, OK has Ohio State taking on Iowa State. The Buckeyes won their first Big 10 tourney game by beating Indiana 79-75, but lost the next game to Michigan State, 70-77. They did cover both their Big 10 tourney games. The Buckeyes are just 9-23 ATS their last 32 on a neutral court. In addition, they are 0-8 ATS their last eight in NCAA tourney games and 0-6-1 ATS their last seven vs the Big 12. Iowa State won 23 games in a tough Big 12 conference this year. The Cyclones won the Big 12 tournament by beating Kansas 78-66. They covered all three of their Big 12 tourney games. The Cyclones are also 6-2-1 ATS in their last nine non-conference games and 5-1 ATS in their last six neutral court games. Iowa State is the much better team and I like them to win here on Friday. Play Iowa State. |
03-22-19 | Iona v. North Carolina -22 | 73-88 | Loss | -109 | 11 h 5 m | Show
NCAA 1st Round action from Columbus, OH has Iona taking on North Carolina. Iona won its Metro Atlantic conference tournament, beating Monmouth, 81-60. Iona has won 10 straight games and covered eight of its last nine. However, serious upgrade in class today as they take on one of the favorites to win the NCAA tournament, North Carolina. The Tarheels lost to Duke in the ACC tournament, 73-74 as a 3.5-point dog. NCU has covered four straight and seven of the last nine games. North Carolina eats up this level of competition and I'll easily lay the 22-points here with North Carolina. |
03-22-19 | Washington v. Utah State -3 | 78-61 | Loss | -105 | 18 h 6 m | Show
NCAA 1st Round from Columbus, OH has Washington taking on Utah State. The Huskies lost in the PAC-12 Championship to Oregon, 48-68. They have covered just one of their last seven games. They are also 0-3-1 ATS in their last four non-conference games and 1-4 ATS in their last five neutral site contests. Utah State won the Mountain West tournament, beating San Diego State, 64-57. They finished the season with 10 straight wins and covering seven of their last nine games. Utah State is my pick here tonight over the Huskies. Take Utah State. |
03-22-19 | Oregon +2 v. Wisconsin | 72-54 | Win | 100 | 16 h 59 m | Show
Oregon won the PAC-12 Championship, beating Washington quite handily, 68-48. The Ducks cruised through the PAC-12 tourney, winning an covering all four of their games. The Ducks have now covered eight straight games and won eight straight. Wisconsin lost in the Big 10 tournament to Michigan State, 55-67. The Badgers were also 2-4 ATS their last six and 2-7-1 ATS their last 10 games. The Ducks have covered their last five games on a neutral court and I look for Oregon to cover here tonight. Play Oregon. |
03-22-19 | Iowa v. Cincinnati -3.5 | Top | 79-72 | Loss | -105 | 83 h 44 m | Show |
NCAA tourney first round action from Columbus, OH has Iowa taking on Cincinnati. Iowa won its opening Big 10 tourney game against Illinois, but lost the next time out to Michigan, 53-74. The Hawkeyes did not finish the season strong, losing five of their last six games and going 1-9 ATS their last 10 games. Now they have to face a very good Cincinnati team that won 28 games on the season. The Bearcats won the American Athletic conference title with a big upset of favored Houston, 69-57. The Bearcats jumped out to an early lead and never gave it back. Cincinnati is 7-3 ATS in their last 10 non-conference games. Small price to lay here with a Cincy team that not only won 28 games but won their conference championship against one of the best in the country in Houston. I'm laying the points here with Cincinnati. |
03-21-19 | Baylor v. Syracuse -2 | 78-69 | Loss | -110 | 69 h 30 m | Show
NCAA tourney 1st round action from Salt Lake City, UT has Baylor playing Syracuse. Baylor was an early exit in the Big 12 tournament, losing to Iowa State, 66-83. The Bears are 0-3 ATS their last three games and 2-6 ATS their last eight games. They have also covered just one of their last six NCAA tourney games and are 1-4 ATS in their last five vs the ACC conference. Syracuse won their ACC opener with a win over Pitt, 73-59 and then lost to eventual No 1 overall seed Duke, 72-84. The Orange are 4-0 ATS in their last four NCAA tourney games and 5-2 ATS in their last seven vs the Big 12. They are also 5-2-1 ATS in their last eight on a neutral court. This game is basically a pick the winner type game and for me that's on Syracuse. |
03-21-19 | Seton Hall +3.5 v. Wofford | 68-84 | Loss | -107 | 68 h 8 m | Show
Seton Hall came oh so close to winning the Big East tournament, losing to Villanova in the championship game, 72-74. If you watched that game, the you saw Seton Hall get some pretty bad calls against them. My feeling is that the Pirates could and should have won that game. The Pirates have covered their last five games. and are 19-7-1 ATS their last 27 on a neutral court. Now they take on Wofford. The Terriers won the Southern Conference Championship by beating UNC Greensboro, 70-58. The Terriers finished the season at 29-4, but they did play in a smaller conference. It's difficult to pass on the points here with Seton Hall. They play in a much tougher conference and really could have won that tournament. I don't trust this Wofford team against this caliber of team. I'm taking the points with Seton Hall. |
03-21-19 | St. Mary's +5 v. Villanova | 57-61 | Win | 100 | 66 h 16 m | Show
NCAA first round action from Hartford, CT has St Mary's taking on Villanova. St Mary's is only here by virtue of their beating mighty Gonzaga in the West Coast Championship game, 60-47 as 14-point dogs. The Gael's previously had lost to the Zags by 48 points before their mighty upset. The Gaels have also done well vs the Big East, going 6-0 ATS their last six vs the conference. St Mary's is also 4-1 ATS in their last five neutral site games. Villanova won the Big East by beating Seton Hall 74-72. The Cats got some good calls in that game and really could have easily lost to Seton Hall. The defending Champs are just 1-3 ATS in their last four games and 3- 6 ATS their last nine. This Villanova team is well coached, but not quite as good as previous editions. I'm taking the points here with St Marys. |
03-21-19 | Florida +2.5 v. Nevada | 70-61 | Win | 100 | 65 h 24 m | Show
Nevada has me worried because of how they just ran out of gas in the Mountain West conference tournament. The Wolfpack were the best team in that conference, but lost 56-65 to San Diego State. Problem with this Wolfpack team is that they are not deep into their bench and their starters might be wearing down a bit late in the season. That's a good reason they scored just 56 vs San Diego State. The Wolfpack also covered just one time in their last eight games. Moreover, they are 16-33-3 ATS their last 52 on a neutral site. Florida won its first two SEC conference tourney games before losing to Auburn, 62-65. The Gators did cover their four games. They are also 5-0 ATS in their last five neutral site games. I'm taking the points here with Florida as I believe Nevada is running on fumes at this point of the season. Play Florida. |
03-21-19 | Belmont +3.5 v. Maryland | 77-79 | Win | 100 | 22 h 13 m | Show
NCAA 1st Round action here on Thursday has Belmont taking on Maryland. Belmont won their play-in game on Tuesday, beating Temple, 81-70. That was their 27th win of the season. The Bruins have been hot, going 12-3-1 ATS their last 16 games. They are also 13-5 ATS in their last 18 non-conference games. Maryland was 22-10 S/U on the season and lost their Big 10 tourney opener against Nebraska, 61-69. It was the team's third loss in four games. In addition they are just 1-3 ATS their last four. The Terapins are also 2-6 ATS their last eight games on a neutral court and 1-6 ATS their last seven in the NCAA Tournament. I'm going to take the points here with a very hot Belmont club. |
03-21-19 | Yale v. LSU OVER 159.5 | 74-79 | Loss | -104 | 59 h 10 m | Show
Yale won the Ivy League championship in resounding fashion, 97-85 over Harvard. Yale is a uptempo team that likes to push the ball up and down the court. You can see that by their last three games, 81 vs Princeton and 83 vs Princeton and then 97 in that championship game. Yale went over in five of their last seven games. They were also 3-1-1 O/U in their last five on a neutral court and 5-0 O/U in their last five against the SEC. LSU won't be afraid to run with Yale in this one. The Tigers scores 70 or more points in their last four games. They also went over in five of their last eight games. In addition, they are 14-6 O/U their last 20 overall and 4-0 O/U in their last four neutral site games. I like these teams to go OVER the total. |
03-20-19 | Arizona State -1.5 v. St. John's | 74-65 | Win | 100 | 10 h 3 m | Show
NCAA 1st Round action play-in game has Arizona State taking on St Johns. ASU finished with a 22-10 S/U record and lost to Oregon in the PAC-12 Tourney, 75-79 in OT. The Sun Devils played the Pac-12 Champion very well and could have won that game. They have covered three of the last four games and are 5-3 ATS their last eight games. St Johns ended with a 21-12 S/U on the season. The Red Storm lost in the Big East tourney to Marquette, 54-86. They lost four of their last five games to finish the season both S/U and ATS. The Red Storm was 2-5 ATS their last seven games. St Johns is also 0-5 ATS their last five times in the NCAA tournament and 5-11 ATS their last 16 on a neutral court. ASU just the better team at this point in the season. Take Arizona State. |
03-20-19 | Butler v. Nebraska -5 | 76-80 | Loss | -115 | 44 h 36 m | Show
NIT first round action has Butler playing at Nebraska. The Bulldogs of Butler went out in their opening Big East tourney game, losing big to Providence, 57-80. The Bulldogs have not done well at just 16-16 on the season. They have also gone just 1-5 ATS over their last six games. They are also 9-23 ATS in their last 32 road games and 2-5 ATS in their last seven non-conference games. Nebraska is 18-16 S/U and 15-16 ATS on the season. The Cornhuskers won their first two Big 10 games beating Rutgers and Maryland before losing to Wisconsin, 62-66. They covered all three conference tourney games and their last four overall. Nebraska is 23-9 ATS over their last 32 games and 15-5-1 ATS their last 21 non-conference games. I like the host here today, play Nebraska. |
03-19-19 | Dayton v. Colorado -4 | 73-78 | Win | 100 | 10 h 37 m | Show
NIT 1st Round action tonight has Colorado hosting Dayton. Dayton will be treated to the high altitude tonight in Boulder Co, something they may not have experienced much before. Dayton lost in their conference quarterfinals to St Louis, 55-64. Colorado lost in the PAC-12 tourney to Washington, 61-66. Dayton has only covered three of their last 10 vs a team with a win percentage of 60% or better. They are also 0-4 ATS in their last four non-conference games. Meanwhile, Colorado is 6-1 ATS at home in their last seven games. And, they are 8-2 ATS their last 10 games vs a team with a winning record. I don't see much motivation for Dayton here tonight. Plus the altitude should tire them out pretty quick. I'm taking the host, Colorado. |
03-19-19 | Belmont v. Temple +3.5 | 81-70 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 52 m | Show
NCAA 1st Round Play-In action has Belmont taking on Temple today. Belmont had an excellent season in the Southern Conference, going 26-5, though they lost to Murray State in their tournament, 65-77. They only faced a couple of decent teams in non-conference plays, beating UCLA and losing to Purdue. The Bruins are just 2-5 ATS on neutral courts their last seven tries. They are also 2-5 ATS in their last 7 NCAA tournament games. Temple had a excellent season going 23-9 S/U. The Owls lost their first conference tourney game to Wichita State, 74-80. Still, the Owls do pretty good on neutral court sites, goign 14-6 ATS their last 20. Issue here is that we have Belmont from a small conference going against Temple that is used to playing much tougher competition. They had to play teams like Cincinnati, Houston and U Conn this year. Yet, Temple is a dog and that makes no sense to me. I'm taking Temple and looking for an outright Owls win. Take Temple. |
03-17-19 | Michigan +1 v. Michigan State | 60-65 | Loss | -109 | 13 h 26 m | Show
Big 10 Championship today and it should be a good one as No 10 Michigan takes on No 6 Michigan State. No doubt both these teams are heading to the NCAA tourament, but the liekly winner of this game should garner a No 1 seed in the NCAA tourney. Michigan had little trouble with Minnesota on Saturday, trouncing the Gophers from the opening tip and easily winning 76-49 as a 9-point favorite. The Wolverines have covered both of their Big 10 tourney games and four of the last five games. They are also 8-4 ATS their last 12 games. The Wolverines have been a great neutral site team, going 40-18-4 ATS their last 62 times. They are also 24-9-1 ATS their last 34 games vs a team with a winning percentage above 60%. The Michigan State Spartans also had an easy time on Saturday, cruising to a 67-55 win over Wisconsin as a 5.5-point favorite. Unlike their intrastate rivals, the Spartans are just 3-7 ATS in their last 10 neutral site games. The Spartans are only a 1-point favorite here and I am going to take the Wolverines in this one. Take Michigan. |
03-17-19 | Cincinnati v. Houston -4 | Top | 69-57 | Loss | -110 | 13 h 8 m | Show |
American Athletic Championship here from Memphis, TN as Cincinnati takes on Houston. Both of these teams will be going to the NCAA tourney, but a higher seed is at stake here today. The Cincinnati Bearcats are 27-6 on the season after beating Southern Miss and Wichita State in the tourney. Unfortunately the Bearcats are not a good covering team, evidenced by their 1-8-1 ATS mark their last 10 games. Meanwhile, Houston is 31-2 on the season and 20-11 ATS. The Cougars crushed a decent U Conn team to start the AAC tourney, 84-45 and then narrowly got by the host team Memphis, 61-58 yesterday. unlike Cincy, the Cougars are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 neutral site games and 10-4 ATS their last 14 against a team with a winning percentage above 60%. Houston has covered the last four in this series and I expect that again here on Sunday. Play Houston. |
03-16-19 | Florida State +8 v. Duke | Top | 63-73 | Loss | -103 | 9 h 41 m | Show |
ACC Championship game here late this evening has Florida State and Duke squaring-off. Both these clubs will make the NCAA tournament, but Duke can pretty much assure themselves a #1 seed with a win tonight. Florida State might have something to say about that. The Seminoles are now 27-6 S/U on the season. They have won and covered both their ACC tourney games, including yesterday's win over a very good Virginia team, 69-59. The Seminoles were a 9-point dog to Virginia and scored one of the big upsets of the tourney thus far. FSU is now 8-1-2 ATS in their last 11 neutral site games. Meanwhile, Duke just got past North Carolina yesterday, 74-73 as a 4-point favorite. The Tarheels failed to cover the spread. They are 0-3-1 ATS their last four games. Florida State has covered its last four games against Duke. The 8-points FSU is getting looks awfully good to me right now. I'm taking Florida State in a low scoring, close game. |
03-16-19 | Seton Hall +4.5 v. Villanova | 72-74 | Win | 100 | 7 h 44 m | Show
Big East Conference Championship here today. Seton Hall would like to win to assure themselves a spot in the NCAA tournament, while Villanova likely to go either way. Seton Hall has won it's two tourney games thus far with wins over Georgetown and Marquette. The Pirates have also covered four in a row now. Seton Hall also does well on neutral sites, evidenced by their 18-7-1 ATS mark their last 26 times on the court. Villanova is also 2-0 in tourney play with wins over Providence and then yesterday's OT win over Xavier, 71-67. Have to wonder if the Cats aren't a bit gassed for this one after playing two straight days plus an OT yesterday. Seton Hall getting 4.5-points here plus likely has a bit more motivation to win this game than Villanova does. I'm taking Seton Hall plus the points. |
03-16-19 | Minnesota +9.5 v. Michigan | 49-76 | Loss | -106 | 4 h 37 m | Show
: Both of these clubs heading to the NCAA tournament. Minnesota is 21-12 S/U and 18-15 ATS on the season. They have opening Big 10 tourney wins over Penn State, 77-72 in OT and Purdue yesterday, 75-73 as a 10-point dog upset. The Gophers have covered four of their last five games. Michigan won't be a #1 seed in the tourney, but should be ranked high. The Wolverines opened their tourney with a win over Iowa yesterday, 74-53 as a 7.5-point favorite. Michigan is laying 9-points here today to the Gophers. Michigan the better team, but this Gopher team has already pulled one upset. I look for them to keep this game close. Play Minnesota. |
03-16-19 | Wisconsin v. Michigan State -5 | 55-67 | Win | 100 | 1 h 13 m | Show
Two Big 10 clubs heading to the NCAA tourney meet here today as No 19 Wisconsin meets No 6 Michigan State. Wisconsin didn't have an easy time yesterday, just getting by Nebraska 66-62 as a 8-point favorite. The Badgers are now 2-6-1 ATS in their last nine games (all Big 10). The Spartans improved to 26-6 yesterday with an opening win over Ohio State, 77-70. Michigan State a likely #1 seed in the NCAA tournament. The Spartans have covered six of their last nine games. They are also 15-6 ATS in their last 21 Big 10 games and 18-5 ATS their last 23 vs a team with a winning straight up record. Michigan State is 11-5 ATS vs the Badgers the last 16 meetings. Take Michigan State here today. |
03-15-19 | Fresno State +4 v. Utah State | 60-85 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 25 m | Show
Mountain West Semifinals here have Fresno State taking on Utah State. Fresno improved to 23-8 S/U after their straight-up win and cover in game one of the tourney over Air Force, 76-50. The Bulldogs are a very good covering team at 20-10 ATS overall this year. In addition, they are 4-0 on a neutral site and 4-1 ATS in their last five games. Utah State improved to 26-6 S/U and 15-14 ATS with their win yesterday over New Mexico, 91-83. They did fail to cover though, their second failure in a row. The Aggies are only 2-5 ATS their last seven against a team that wins 60% or more of it's games. They are also just 3-7 ATS their last 10 against a team with a winning straight up record. Two very good teams here, but Fresno just covers too well to pass on the points. Take Fresno State. |

03-15-19 | Duke -3 v. North Carolina | 74-73 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 27 m | Show
Two longtime rivals meet here in the ACC Semfinals. No 5 Duke is now 27-5 S/U and 18-14 ATS after their opening tourney win over Syracuse, 84-72. No 3 ranked North Carolina is also 27-5 S/U and 21-10 ATS on the season. The Tarheels opened tourney play with a win over Louisville, 83-70. These clubs met twice previously this year with NCU taking both over the Blue Devils. That's difficult enough, but now you are asking NCU to take three over one of the best teams in the country. There is a reason that Duke is a small favorite here and I have to agree. Take Duke to get some payback here tonight. Play Duke. |

03-15-19 | Florida State v. Virginia -8.5 | 69-59 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 46 m | Show
It's a meeting of two ranked teams here in the ACC conference tournament as No 13 Florida State takes on No 2 Virginia. Florida State played an OT game yesterday in their first conf tourney playoff, beating Virginia Tech 65-63 as a 1-point favorite. The Seminoles have now covered two of their last three, but are only 2-4 ATS their last six. Virginia is one of the best if not the best defensive team in basketball. The Cavaliers are 29-2 S/U and 22-8 on the season. The Cavs opened with a 76-56 win over NC State yesterday as 11.5-point favorite. The Cavs have now covered six of their last seven games. In addition, both of the Cavs losses this year have both come to Duke. Virginia is 25-10-1 ATS their last 36 conference games and 43-17-1 ATS their last 61 overall games. Don't look for FSU to get a lot of points here against this stingy Cavs defense. I'm going to lay the points here with the Cavs as they have been covering consistently. Play Virginia. |

03-15-19 | Nebraska v. Wisconsin -8 | Top | 62-66 | Loss | -109 | 2 h 11 m | Show |
Big 10 Conference Quarters here have Nebraska taking on Wisconsin. Nebraska opened this conference with a pair of win. First they beat Rutgers 68-61 and then yesterday defeated Maryland 69-61, covering both games. In fact, they have now covered their last three games. Wisconsin is 22-9 on the season and 17-13 ATS. The Badgers are well rested coming into this game as they have had four days off to prepare. Compare that to the Huskers who are playing their third game in three nights. It's tough for some of these teams playing all these games in a row without any time off. Not so for Wisconsin and like a well rested team against a tired team. That's what we have here tonight. Take Wisconsin. |

03-14-19 | Texas v. Kansas -2.5 | Top | 57-65 | Win | 100 | 12 h 35 m | Show |
Big 12 Conference quarterfinals from Kansas City, MO has Texas taking on Kansas. Texas finished the regular season at 16-15 S/U and 15-16 ATS. Texas has lost two straight and four of their last five games. They also have failed to cover their last two games. Kansas will make the NCAA either way with their 23-8 S/U record. The Jayhawks were only 14-17 ATS on the season. They did cover five of their last eight games though. These teams split the two games on the season. However, I like Kansas here tonight laying a small number of 2.5 or 3-points. Take 17th ranked Kansas tonight. |

03-14-19 | Georgetown v. Seton Hall -2.5 | 57-73 | Win | 100 | 11 h 26 m | Show
Big East quarterfinals tonight has Georgetown taking on Seton Hall. Georgetown is 19-12 S/U and 13-17 ATS on the season. The Hoyas have won three of their last four games both S/U and ATS. Georgetown beat Seton Hall in their one matchup this season, an OT win at home 77-71. Seton Hall is 17-13 S/U and 12-17 ATS on the season. The Pirates have won and covered their last two games. They have also covered six of their last nine games. I'm laying the 2.5 points here tonight with Seton Hall. Play Seton Hall. |
