11-21-13 | UNLV v. Air Force -2.5 | Top | 41-21 | Loss | -110 | 105 h 11 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Air Force.
The UNLV Rebels are 5-5 SU and 6-4 ATS and are coming off a 28-24 loss to Utah State on November 9th. QB Caleb Herring was just 17 of 39 for 252 yards and two TD's along with a costly INT. RB Tim Cornett had 115 yards on 29 attempts and one TD. It was however the Rebels second consecutive home loss and they remain one win shy of being bowl eligible. Unfortunately, a cold blustery day at Air Force is not conducive for this team to get that victory. Note that extreme inclement conditions have been forecast for this contest, 70% chance of snow showers, a 10-20 KMH wind and a wind chill of 11. Air Force is just 2-8 SU and 3-7 ATS. The Falcons are coming off a hard-fought 45-37 setback at New Mexico on November 8th. Anthony LaCoste ran for 177 yards while QB Nate Romine threw three TD passes while also running one in for a major. Note that UNLV is just 1-2 ATS in its last three following its bye-week, while Air Force is 3-2 ATS in its last five following a loss to a conference rival. I believe the conditions will be just too much for the kids from the dessert to overcome and expect the home side to pull away down the stretch. Play on Air Force. AAA |

11-21-13 | Rutgers +16 v. Central Florida | Top | 17-41 | Loss | -110 | 103 h 8 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Rutgers.
Rutgers is 5-4 SU and 3-5 ATS after suffering a big 17-52 loss at home to Cincinnati last weekend. Not a good day for Gary Nova who completed just 18 of 38 passes for 170 yards, one TD and two INTs. Brandon Coleman was a lone bright spot for the Scarlet Knights, reeling in six catches for 77 yards and a TD. Rutgers allowed a massive 619 total yards to the Bearcats. Central Florida is 8-1 SU and 6-3 ATS after a narrow 39-36 win over Temple. Blake Bortles had 404 yards passing and 64 yards rushing to go with his four TD passes. J.J Worton had 179 yards and three receiving TDs in the win. This is a classic letdown spot in the schedule for UCF as the team had games versus Temple and Rutgers before next week |

11-21-13 | Rice v. UAB +20 | Top | 37-34 | Win | 100 | 103 h 7 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on UAB.
The Rice Owls sit at 7-3 SU and ATS after a 52-14 beat down at home over Louisiana Tech. Charles Ross had five rushing TDs. Ross finished with a career-high 215 yards rushing. Luke Turner also had a 1-yard TD run as Rice set season highs with 415 yards rushing and 582 yards overall. UAB is 2-8 SU and 3-7 ATS after a 14-63 loss to East Carolina. Jonathan Perry completed just 16-of-34 passes for no TDs and two INTs. This looks like a mismatch at first glance but I feel the value is certainly here with UAB as the massive underdog at home. UAB is 2-1 ATS in home games this season and 1-0 recently as an underdog of 17-21 points at home. Rice is in a classic letdown spot after a big win over a different weaker sister team last week. Take the points with UAB. AAA |

11-20-13 | Northern Illinois -2.5 v. Toledo | Top | 35-17 | Win | 100 | 80 h 1 m | Show |
This is a 10* "ART OF THE GAME" on Northern Illinois.
Northern Illinois sits at 10-0 SU and 6-4 ATS after a 48-27 win at home over Ball State. Jordan Lynch went 26 of 32 for 345 yards and two scores while running 20 times for 123 yards and two more TDs. Da |

11-19-13 | Buffalo -24 v. Miami (OH) | Top | 44-7 | Win | 100 | 56 h 55 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Buffalo.
Buffalo is 7-3 SU and ATS after a 41-51 loss at Toledo last week. The Bulls fell behind 27-0 nothing at halftime and could never get back into a position to win despite outgaining the Rockets 605-551 in the game. Joe Licata finished the night 36-for-58 for 497 yards and three TDs with zero INTs. Alex Neutz caught eight balls for 168 yards and two scores and set a school record with his 30th career receiving touchdown. Branden Oliver went over 100 yards (102) for the sixth straight game. Miami (Ohio) is 0-10 after a 6-24 loss at Kent State last week. Austin Gearing rushed 23 times for 84 yards in the loss. Buffalo is looking to bounce back after a tough loss to Toledo last week and should be able to take out in a big way against lowly Miami Ohio here. The RedHawks have scored a total of nine points in their last two games. Buffalo is 5-1 ATS as the favorite this season and 5-0 versus teams with a losing record. Don |

11-16-13 | Oregon State v. Arizona State -13.5 | Top | 17-30 | Loss | -110 | 150 h 26 m | Show |
This is a 10* "SITUATIONAL GAME OF THE YEAR" on Arizona State.
The Oregon State Beavers were idle last week enjoying a bye. Prior the week off, the Beavers moved to 6-3 SU and 4-5 ATS, falling 14-31 to USC. Oregon State's Sean Mannion threw for 277 yards and a touchdown but also threw three uncharacteristic interceptions in the loss, the second straight for the Beavers. Brandin Cooks had six receptions for 86 yards and a TD score in the loss. Arizona State is 7-2 SU and 5-4 ATS after a narrow 20-19 win at Utah. Taylor Kelly finished 19-for-31 for 144 yards and one TD pass in game where he was largely ineffective till the fourth quarter. Marion Grice rushed 20 times for 136 yards. Arizona State has been dominant at home, going 5-0 SU and 4-1 ATS this season. What has separated Arizona State from other squads in the Pac-12 is that not only is it extremely productive on offense but it can also dominate on defense. The Beavers have been solid all year on the road this is by far the best team its |

11-16-13 | Texas Tech v. Baylor -27 | Top | 34-63 | Win | 100 | 148 h 12 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Baylor.
Texas Tech fell to 7-3 SU and 5-5 ATS after a 26-49 loss at home to Kansas State. Backup QB Baker Mayfield completed 34 of 44 passes for 347 yards, zero TDs and two INTs in place of Davis Webb who left with an injury in the second quarter. Jace Amaro, the Big 12's leader in receptions, continued his streak of games with at least eight catches. He finished with nine for 67 yards. Meanwhile, Baylor continued to roll to an 8-0 SU and 7-1 ATS record after a 59-12 romp of Oklahoma last week to show that the team is for real. Bryce Petty completed 13 of 26 passes for 206 yards and three TDs and also rushed for two more on 16 carries. Shock Linwood had 23 carries for 182 yards on the ground. While the Red Raiders' defensive numbers (27.0 ppg, 389.1 ypg) appear respectable, the unit has played poorly during the three-game losing streak in allowing a whopping 46.3 ppg. That spells bad news going into a game with a Baylor offense that ranks as the best overall offensive team in the nation. The Bears have far and away the most explosive offense in the nation, ranking first in the FBS in total offense (686.0 ypg), scoring offense (61.0 ppg), pass efficiency at 201.5 and yards per play at 8.64.The Bears are 4-0 ATS as favorite between 21.5 points to 31 this season and is 4-1 ATS versus conference teams this season. Baylor is also 2-0 ATS versus Texas Tech the last few seasons. Lay the points. AAA |

11-16-13 | Syracuse v. Florida State -39 | Top | 3-59 | Win | 100 | 144 h 28 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Florida State.
Syracuse sits at 5-4 SU and 6-3 ATS after a 20-3 win over Maryland. Jerome Smith ran for 118 yards and two touchdowns, and Syracuse used a strong defensive effort to beat error-prone Maryland. Terell Hunt finished 15 for 24 for 140 yards and an interception. He also ran for 67 yards on seven carries. Syracuse won despite being penalized 12 times for 115 yards and going 3 for 14 on third-down conversions. Florida State is rolling at 9-0 SU and 7-2 ATS after a 59-3 demolition of Wake Forest. Florida State tied a school record with six interceptions, returned turnovers for touchdowns on consecutive plays and gave the offense short fields in the rout. Jamies Winston threw two touchdown passes while leading an offense that gained just 296 total yards, well off its ACC-leading average of 549. The Seminoles are off their best start in school history and has eyes on the National Championship game. The fact that the offense didn |

11-16-13 | Ohio State -33 v. Illinois | Top | 60-35 | Loss | -105 | 141 h 60 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Ohio State.
Ohio State is 9-0 SU and 6-2 ATS after beating up on Purdue 55-0 nothing back on November 2nd. Braxton Miller and combined for seven TDs, five in the air and two on the ground. Jeff Heuerman had 116 receiving yards, including a reception for a score. The Buckeyes defense forced six turnovers in this game. Illinois sits at 3-6 SU and 4-5 ATS after a 35-52 loss at Indiana. Nathan Scheelhaase completed 38 of 57 passes for 450 yards and two touchdowns to lead Illinois. He added 45 yards and a score on the ground. Receiver Steve Hull had 224 yards and two touchdowns on nine receptions. Ohio State is going to win this game, just by how much is the question. This team hasn't lost in 22 months. Urban Meyer tied a personal best by winning his 22nd consecutive game, which includes his final victory at Florida. The Buckeyes have QB |

11-16-13 | Iowa State v. Oklahoma -23.5 | Top | 10-48 | Win | 100 | 141 h 59 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Oklahoma.
The Iowa State Cyclones sit at 1-8 SU and 4-5 ATS after a 17-20 narrow loss home. Grant Rohach threw for 148 yards. E.J. Bibbs had a team high seven receptions for 63 yards while the team got a TD from Sam Richardson and a special teams TD. The Cyclones offense stalled for much of the game like it has all season. Oklahoma sits at 7-2 SU and 4-5 ATS after an embarrassing 12-41 loss at Baylor in a primetime weekday game. Blake Bell had a tough game, completing just 15-of-35 passes for one TD and two INT. The Sooners are still a solid squad and this is an easy matchup for the team. The Cyclones' boast the Big 12's worst defense at 37.8 ppg, 465.3 ypg and have lost six in a row. In terms of the all-time series, it has been complete and utter domination on Oklahoma's part, as it has gone 70-5-2 versus the Cyclones, which includes wins in each of the last 14 meetings. The Sooners are still very stout defensively and the loss to Baylor in my eyes said more about how good the Bears are than a slight on the Sooners who still allow just 21.2 points and 330.3 yards per game. Coming off a very demoralizing loss, I expect this to be a good situation for the Sooners to bounce back .Oklahoma is fortunate it has a home matchup against a last-place team and have had an extra couple of days to prepare for this game more than Iowa State. Expect the Sooners to earn a huge win here. Oklahoma has a 2-0ATS record this season as a favorite between 21.5 points to 30 points. Note that I played against the Sooners last week but I think it has swung the other way here. Lay the big ones here. AAA |

11-15-13 | Washington +1.5 v. UCLA | Top | 31-41 | Loss | -110 | 127 h 3 m | Show |
This is a 10* "SCORPION" on Washington.
Washington is 6-3 SU and 5-4 ATS and is coming off a 59-7 blowout win over Colorado. Keith Price threw for two touchdowns and ran for one as part of a huge first half where Washington racked up nearly 500 yards on offense. Washington ran 59 plays and finished with 464 total yards in the first half. Bishop Sankey had 143 yards and a TD rushing the ball. UCLA sits at 7-2 SU and 6-3 ATS after a 31-26 win at Arizona. Brett Hundley completed 18-of-25 passes for 227 yards and two TDs. Freshman linebacker Myles Jack played offense, too, rushing for 120 yards on his first six carries of the season. Note that I played on both of these teams last week and was victorious with each covering the spread. These teams are largely mirror images of each other. Each squad has a very effective offense led by two of the more consistent quarterbacks in the country. Scoring points won't be the issue for either team. Look for the value to be in the fact that this game could really come down to the wire and getting points is the way to go. Take Washington plus the points. AAA |

11-14-13 | Georgia Tech v. Clemson -10 | Top | 31-55 | Win | 100 | 102 h 44 m | Show |
This is a 10* "TOP OF THE FOOD CHAIN" on Clemson.
Georgia Tech comes in off a bye sitting at 6-3 SU and 4-5 ATS after a 21-10 win over Pittsburgh. Robert Godhigh ran for two touchdowns, Georgia Tech's defense recorded a season-high five sacks. Vad Lee completed 5 of 10 passes for 84 yards. Clemson improved to 8-1 SU and 4-4 ATS after a 59-10 win over Virginia prior to a bye week. Sammy Watkins returned to big time play making mode. Watkins caught eight passes for 169 yards and two scores. It was his sixth 100-yard game this season. Taj Boyd finished 24 of 29 for 377 yards for three TD passes to one INT. Clemson bounced back off a terrible performance with its |

11-14-13 | Marshall -15.5 v. Tulsa | Top | 45-34 | Loss | -105 | 102 h 42 m | Show |
This is a 10* "ART OF THE GAME" on Marshall.
Marshall sits at 6-3 SU and 5-3 ATS after a 46-15 crushing of UAB last Saturday. Rakeem Cato had four total touchdowns and Marshall had 657 total yards. Steward Butler ran for 139 yards, Essray Taliaferro had 118 and Kevin Grooms had 108. The Thundering Herd averaged 12.6 yards per play in the win, school record. Tulsa fell to 2-7 SU and 1-8 ATS after a 24-58 loss to Eastern Michigan last Saturday. Trey Watts rushed for 120 yards and a score for Tulsa and has now rushed for at least 100 yards for the 5th time this season and 12th of his career. The Golden Hurricane turned the ball over three times, including an interception that was returned for a TD. Marshall has been on fire of late, winning four of five and is coming off two straight wins where it won by an average of 45 points. Tulsa is 0-4 ATS at home and 0-3 ATS as the underdog. The Thundering Herd comes into this game looking for double revenge after a second straight loss to Tulsa last season. Lay the points with Marshall. AAA |

11-13-13 | Ball State +5.5 v. Northern Illinois | Top | 27-48 | Loss | -110 | 79 h 35 m | Show |
This is a 10* "ART OF WAR" on Ball State.
Ball State sits at 9-1 SU and 7-3 ATS after a 44-24 beat down of Eastern Michigan. Keith Wenning threw for 299 yards and four touchdowns and Horactio Banks had 11 carries for a career-high 143 yards and a score to help Ball State. Northern Illinois is 9-0 SU and 5-4 ATS after a 63-19 beat down of Massachusetts. Jordan Lynch was his all world self, rushing for 119 yards and four TDs while throwing for 160 yards and a score. This was a week after Lynch accounted for six TD scores. Backup Drew Hare connected with Chad Beebe on an 81-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter and followed it with a 47-yard TD run to make it 63-19. These are arguably the two best teams in the MAC conference as both teams are a perfect 5-0 in MAC play. Ball State has been a roll as well quietly as they come in as the underdog. The Cardinals have won seven straight and covered the spread the only game they played as the underdog this season. This game plays as double revenge as Northern Illinois has won the last two games by close scores Note that the Cardinals had a 9 point lead in the third quarter before imploding in the matchup last season. Surprisingly, NIU is just 4-4 ATS as the favorite this season. Look for this game to be a close one too and grab the points. AAA |

11-13-13 | Miami (OH) +17.5 v. Kent State | Top | 6-24 | Loss | -110 | 79 h 34 m | Show |
This is a 10* "ELITE INSIDER" on Miami Ohio.
Miami Ohio is 0-9 SU and 2-7 ATS after a 3-45 beat down at the hands of Bowling Green. The Redhawks fumbled five times in the loss. Drew Krummer completed 9-of-19 passes for 100 yards. Miami Ohio racked up just 131 yards on the night. Kent State is 2-8 SU and 3-7 ATS after a 7-16 loss to Akron. Colin Reardon completed just 15-of-31 passes for just 138 yards and no TDs and three INTS. Trayion Durham led the team with 82 yards and a TD. These are two of the worst teams in the MAC and are coming off losses where neither team could put up much of a fight offensively. Kent State is 0-4 ATS in home games this season and don |

11-12-13 | Buffalo +4 v. Toledo | Top | 41-51 | Loss | -110 | 54 h 20 m | Show |
This is a 10* "SUPER-BLOWOUT" on Buffalo.
Buffalo is 7-2 SU and ATS after a 30-3 beat down of Ohio last week. Branden Oliver had 249 yards rushing and two touchdowns to lead Buffalo. Joe Licata threw two touchdown passes to Alex Neutz as the Bulls won their seventh straight game. Toledo is 6-3 SU and ATS and is coming off a bye week. The Rockets won a 55-16 win over Eastern Michigan prior to the open date. Terrance Owens threw for 375 yards and three touchdowns to lead Toledo. The Rockets amassed 729 yards of total offense. Kareem Hunt, who recorded his third consecutive 100-yard game, rushed 20 times for 168 yards and two touchdowns. Two teams on a roll here as Buffalo has won seven in a row and Toledo has won four in row as well. Buffalo is a perfect 5-0 ATS this season against conference opponents and is looking to get revenge after last year |

11-09-13 | UCLA -1 v. Arizona | Top | 31-26 | Win | 100 | 150 h 57 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on UCLA.
UCLA sits at 6-2 SU and 5-3 ATS after a 45-23 win over Colorado last week. Brett Hundley looked much more like himself in the victory as he accounted for 345 yards and four total touchdowns to lift the Bruins win. Meanwhile The Wildcats sit at 6-2 and 4-3 ATS as well after surviving what could have been an embarrassing loss on the road against California last weekend but pulled out the 33-28 victory. The win was the third straight for the Wildcats, who are suddenly 6-2 overall and tied with UCLA and USC for second in the Pac-12 South Division. There is skill bursting on each side of the ball for both of these teams. Hundley getting back to normal is a big boost for UCLA but he may have some issues against a vastly improved Arizona defense. Barr could really be an important player in this matchup if he can neutralize Denker's mobility and Carey out of the backfield. This will be a tighter affair than last year but one UCLA will still win. Take UCLA to win this one straight up. AAA |

11-09-13 | Colorado v. Washington Huskies -27 | Top | 7-59 | Win | 100 | 148 h 43 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Washington.
Colorado is 3-5 SU and ATS after a 23-45 loss to UCLA last week. Even though they still allowed over 400 yards in the loss to UCLA, the Buffaloes did a decent job of slowing down one of the better offenses in the conference, letting up just 18 first downs. However, the Buffaloes have had very few games to feel good about on defense as they are letting up 467.5 yards of total offense. The Washington Huskies sit at 5-3 SU and 4-4 ATS after snapping a two game losing streak with a 41-17 win over California prior to the bye week. Keith Price looked like himself again. Price completed 20-of-32 passes for 376 yards and two touchdowns. The Huskies finished with 642 yards, but perhaps more importantly Sankey and Price looked much more comfortable. This spells the sixth try for Colorado to earn a win against a team from its conference. The first five attempts have been miserable failures as the Buffaloes have been topped by an average of 31 points per game. Their most recent 45-23 disappointment against No. 16 UCLA actually is the closest they have come to a conference victory. This is going to a blowout of epic proportions. Lay the points with the home team. AAA |

11-09-13 | BYU v. Wisconsin -7 | Top | 17-27 | Win | 100 | 143 h 14 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Wisconsin.
BYU has been red-hot, reeling off five straight wins to improve to 6-2 SU and 5-3 ATS. The latest win for the Broncos was a Friday night 37-20 win at home over Boise State on October 25th. Taysom Hill threw for 339 yards and three touchdowns, and ran for 69 yards and another score. He completed 27 of 41 passes to lead the Cougars. Hill dominated from start to finish. In the first half, he threw for 253 yards and two touchdowns, ran for a score, and had 306 yards of offense. Wisconsin is also one of the hottest team in the nation after a 28-9 road win at Idaho. James White ran for 132 yards and a pair of late TDs while Joel Stave added two touchdown passes for the Badgers. Hill has the potential to give the Badgers fits, much like Ohio State's Braxton Miller in a Sept. 28 loss, but in the end UW's two- headed monster at running back will be able to dictate the tempo en route to a solid home victory. Lay the points with the home team here. AAA |

11-09-13 | USC v. California +17 | Top | 62-28 | Loss | -110 | 143 h 45 m | Show |

11-09-13 | Missouri -14 v. Kentucky | Top | 48-17 | Win | 100 | 140 h 48 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Missouri.
Missouri is 8-1 SU and 7-1 ATS after a 31-3 beat down of Tennessee at home last Saturday. Maty Mauk threw three touchdown passes and ran 114 yards on 13 carries for the Tigers. Mauk threw touchdown passes to Dorial Green-Beckham, L'Damian Washington and Marcus Lucas in the first half and Missouri totaled 339 yards rushing with a 6.3-yard average. Missouri did not commit a turnover all game long. Kentucky is 2-6 SU and 4-4 ATS after a 48-14 pounding of Alabama State. Jalen Whitlow ran for two touchdowns and passed for two more while passing for 186 yards in the win. Isaiah Crowell had 86 yards rushing and a TD in the win. The Wild Cats did end a five game losing streak but we can |

11-09-13 | Auburn -7 v. Tennessee | Top | 55-23 | Win | 100 | 140 h 47 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Auburn.
Auburn is 8-1 SU and 7-2 ATS after a 35-17 win at Arkansas last week. The win for Auburn came largely behind the running of Tre Mason, who finished with 168 yards rushing and had four rushing TDS. Nick Marshall was responsible for 177 yards and had one throwing TD in the win. Tennessee is 4-5 SU and ATS after getting destroyed 3-31 by Missouri last week. It was not a good day for freshman QB Joshua Dobbs who was intercepted twice and lost a fumble in his first career start. These are teams going in different directions. Auburn has a belief that it can make a case for an SEC title still and that is going to be major motivation going into this game. Tennessee has lost two straight since winning outright as an underdog to South Carolina. The Volunteers allowed 339 rushing yards last week and is not a good sign when about to face a team like Auburn. This won |

11-08-13 | Louisville -27.5 v. Connecticut | Top | 31-10 | Loss | -110 | 125 h 7 m | Show |
This is a 10* "SCORPION" on Louisville.
Louisville bounced back from a big time loss to Central Florida to crush South Florida 34-3 to move to 7-1 SU and 4-4 ATS before the bye week. Teddy Bridgewater completed 25 of 29 passes with no interceptions, throwing for 344 yards and three TD passes. Dominique Brown had 125 yards rushing in the win as the Cardinals bounced back with a strong defensive effort. Connecticut moved to 0-7 SU and 1-6 ATS after a 17-62 blowout loss to Central Florida. The Huskies are averaging just 293.7 yards and 16.4 points per game on the campaign, ranking near the bottom of the AAC in each category. The Cardinals come in as the mighty favorite in this one for a reason and I actually think the spread is not big enough for a game that is going to be major blowout. The Cardinals come in with revenge on their minds after losing an OT shocker to the Huskies last season. Louisville cannot afford any more hiccups this season and need a blowout to be considered higher in the polls for next week. Louisville is 10-4 ATS as the road favorite and Connecticut is just 1-3 ATS at home this season. The Cardinals are just better than the Huskies in every phase. Expect very little intrigue beyond the opening kickoff. Lay the points. AAA |

11-07-13 | Oregon -10 v. Stanford | Top | 20-26 | Loss | -115 | 102 h 50 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on Oregon.
The second ranked Oregon Ducks sit at 8-0 SU and 7-1 ATS after whipping by UCLA 42-14 on October 26. Byron Marshal ran for 133 yards and three touchdowns while Marcus Mariota threw for 230 yards and another score in the win. The Ducks racked up 555 yards in total offense compared to 283 for UCLA. Stanford is 7-1 SU and 4-4 ATS after a 20-12 win over Oregon State. Tyler Gaffney ran for three touchdowns on 145 yards. Stanford totaled just 276 yards of offense as quarterback Kevin Hogan completed just 8 of 18 passes for 88 yards. It was the type of defensive game that the Cardinal like to play. This game will likely decide the National Championship aspirations of the Ducks and they know it going into this game. It was Stanford that ruined the Ducks chances last season of getting the big game. The Ducks to this point have been a spread covering machine and really bully teams on the score board. The Ducks are perfect 10-0 ATS as a road favorite the past three seasons and will be looking to gain major revenge here. Can the Cardinal limit the big play capability of the Ducks? I don |

11-07-13 | Oklahoma v. Baylor -13.5 | Top | 12-41 | Win | 100 | 100 h 21 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on Baylor.
Oklahoma sits at 7-1 SU and 4-4 ATS after a 38-30 win over Texas Tech, handing the Red Raiders their first loss of the season. Blake Bell was sensational, accounting for 293 yards of total offense for the Sooners, throwing for 249 yards and two touchdowns. Damien Williams had 97 yards and two TDs rushing while Jalen Saunders added 157 yards and two TDs receiving. Baylor is 6-1 SU and ATS after a 59-14 beat down of Kansas. Bryce Petty threw for 430 yards and three touchdowns less than three quarters. The Bears (7-0, 4-0 Big 12) piled up 500 yards of offense in taking a 38-0 lead by halftime. At this point, Baylor has yet to really play a tough opponent but that all changes this week when Oklahoma comes to town. The Bears offense has been nearly unstoppable this season and this is an opportunity to make a statement and I full believe Baylor can do it at home. Baylor owns the top offense in the country, as the Bears average a gaudy 63.9 points and 718.4 yards per contest. The Bears have been a really solid defense as well. Ohio is 6-2 SU and 5-3 ATS after a 41-16 win over Miami Ohio. Beau Blankenship ran for 172 yards to help Ohio amass 536 yards of total offense, dominating the 240 for the RedHawks in comparison. Buffalo has won six games in a row and covered the spread in the last five straight and is the better team here. The Buffaloes are an impressive 4-1 ATS this season as the favorite and perfect 4-0 SU at home. This game also sets up as a revenge game for Buffalo after last year |

Miami Is 6-0 SU and 4-2 ATS after narrowly edging Wake Forest 24-20 at home last week. Duke Johnson had 30 rushes for two TDs and finished with 168 yards. The U got a 17-for-28, 191-yard passing effort from Stephen Morris for one TD. Florida State is 6-0 SU and 4-2 ATS after a 49-17 thrashing of North Carolina State last week. Rashad Greene topped 100 yards receiving for the third consecutive game with eight receptions for 137 yards and a touchdown for the Seminoles. Miami is perfect on paper but this game is still a massive mismatch as Florida State is arguably the second best team in the nation right and will likely run all over Miami here. Miami has had to come back from double digit deficits each of the last two weeks and if it goes down early to Florida State it is going to be a long night for the U. Don |

Georgia sits at 4-3 SU and an ugly 1-5 ATS after a 27-31loss at Vanderbilt. Aaron Murray finished the game 16-for-28, passing for 114 yards zero TDs and one INT. Murray did have two rushing TDs in this game on 10 yards rushing. Brendan Douglas had 84 yards rushing for the Bulldogs who are still ravished with injuries on offense. The Florida Gators sit at 4-3 SU and 2-5 ATS after a 17-36 loss to Missouri last weekend. Tyler Murphy completed 15 of 29 passes for 92 yards and an interception. Freshman Kelvin Taylor ran for 74 yards on 12 carries in his fifth career game. Both teams have underachieved this season with 3-2 marks in SEC play. With both teams ravished with injuries this looks to be an even matchup. Georgia |

Jared Goff was 32 of 54 for 336 yards, no interceptions and a 5-yard TD pass to Chris Harper in the second quarter. Chris Harper had 98 yards receiving in the game to go with the TD. Brynn Renner threw for 227 yards and a pair of touchdowns, completing 18-of-21 pass attempts. Marquise Williams had 65 yards rushing and a TD in the win. North Carolina State is 2-4 SU and 2-3 ATS after a 17-49 loss to high ranked Florida State. Brandon Mitchell completed just 17-of-33 for zero TDs and two INT in the loss. Shadarch Thornton had 205 total yards and two TDs as the only source of offense for Wolf Pack. The Wolfpack have lost four in row now and is desperate for a win here. 11-02-13 | Wisconsin -7.5 v. Iowa | Top | 28-9 | Win | 100 | 142 h 23 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Wisconsin.
The 24th ranked Wisconsin Badgers sit at 5-2 SU and 6-0 ATS this season after a 56-32 win over Illinois on October 19th. Joel Stave finished 16-of-21 passing for 189 yards, two TDs. Melvin Gordon racked up 147 yards and three TDs in the win. Javon White also chipped in with 98 yards and two TDs as well. Iowa is at 5-2 SU and ATS after a 17-10 win over Northwestern. Jake Rudock completed 19-of-27 passes for 169 yards one TD and one INT. Rudock also had 56 yards rushing and one TD. The Badgers have been underestimated by many including Vegas this season as demonstrated by the AST Record. The Badgers come into this game off a bye and should be well prepared for this game. Iowa is just 2-3 ATS at home this season while the Badgers are a perfect 2-0 on the road. I like the Badgers as the better team here off a bye week. Don |

This is a 10* "SCORPION" on Oregon State.
USC is 5-3 SU and 3-5 ATS after a 19-3 win over Utah. Cody Kessler passed for 230 yards, Nelson Agholor scored the game's only touchdown on an early 30-yard reception, and Southern California's defense forced four turnovers. Note that both offenses struggled in this game. Oregon State is 6-1 SU and 4-3 ATS after suffering its first loss of the season last week, 12-20 to Stanford. Sean Mannion, was 41 of 57 for 271 yards and one touchdown. Brandon Cooks had 80 yards and a TD on nine receptions in the game. Oregon State was in a dog fight last week in game that played the way Stanford liked it, low scoring. Look for the Beavers to get back on track here. The Trojans will be tested early and often by Mannion and company. However, without a full array of healthy weapons, USC will struggle to keep pace. Lay the points with home team. AAA |

This is a 10* "PAC-12 GAME OF THE YEAR" on Washington State.
Arizona State is coming off a bye week and is 5-2 SU and 4-3 ATS following a 53-24 win over Washington at home on October 19. Taylor Kelly passed for 271 yards with two TD passes and one INT in the win. Marion Grice had 21 carries for 158 yards and three TD scores. Washington State is coming off a bye as well, sitting at 4-4 SU and 5-2 ATS after a 62-38 loss to Oregon on October 19. Conner Halliday completed 58 of 89 passes for 557 yards and four touchdowns for the Cougars, setting a record for most attempts. Handicapping this game, Arizona State is the better team but this looks to be a lot of points for it to cover on the road. The Sun Devils haven't spent much time away from the desert this season but have yet to win, losing 42-28 to then-No. 5 Stanford and 37-34 to Notre Dame in a neutral-site game. Washington State is 2-0 ATS when labeled an underdog of 10.5 or more this season. Grab the points in a conference game that should be competitive for the most part. AAA |

10-31-13 | Rice v. North Texas -3 | Top | 16-28 | Win | 100 | 104 h 34 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on North Texas.
The Rice Owls sit at 6-1 SU and 5-2 ATS after a 45-7 beat down of UTEP last week. Taylor McHargue finished with four passing TDs. Jordan Taylor had 183 yards receiving and caught three TD passes. Charles Ross broke past 100 yards on the ground for Rice, gaining 152 on 21 carries. North Texas is 5-3 SU and 5-2 ATS after a 55-14 destruction of Southern Miss. Derek Thompson threw for 300 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another to spark North Texas. Running backs Antoinne Jimmerson, Brandin Byrd and Reggie Pegram each scored twice for the Mean Green who won their third consecutive conference game. Rice has C-USA's fourth most productive offense both in terms of scoring 30.6 ppg and yardage at 416.4 ypg, and the unit has been especially good in recent weeks with 45-point outputs in back-to-back games. North Texas is one of the few teams that scores more points than Rice (31.8 ppg), and it is one of the conference's more balanced units, ranking in the upper half in both passing 258.9 ypg and rushing 157.5 ypg. The Mean Green is a tough team at home and is 2-0 SU and ATS in North Texas this year. These teams are two of the best in Conference USA but expect the home team to pull it out in a big Thursday night game. Lay the short points. AAA |

Centarius Donald finished with 126 yards on eight carries to go with one TD. The Troy Trojans sit at 4-3 SU and 3-4 ATS after a 32-26 win over Western Kentucky. Corey Robinson threw for 306 yards and Jordan Chunn ran for two scores to lead Troy. Troy is a solid 3-1 SU and this game sets up as a revenge game for the Trojans after getting shelled 10-38 in the last meeting between these two teams. Troy has been the better team all year with tougher wins and will likely get this won done at home. Lay the points. AAA |

10-31-13 | South Florida +14.5 v. Houston | Top | 23-35 | Win | 100 | 103 h 5 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on South Florida.
South Florida comes in the heavy underdog at 2-5 SU and 3-3 ATS after a 3-34 loss to high ranked Louisville last week. USF is just 2-5 overall this season, but at 2-1 in league play, still within striking distance of the conference leaders. In the loss to Louisville, the Bulls reached new lows as they managed a season-low in points, while amassing just 133 yards of total offense. The Bulls also had just 39 plays, averaging 3.9 yards per snap. Houston is 6-1 SU and a perfect 6-0 ATS after a 49-14 beat down of Rutgers last week. Freshman John O'Korn threw for career bests of 364 yards and five touchdowns and Houston forced a season-high six turnovers in routing error-prone Rutgers. This looks to be a daunting task for S. Florida but note the team is 2-1 in conference play and had won two straight before the big loss to high ranked Louisville. I am not afraid to take a favorite when I think its |

10-30-13 | Cincinnati -3.5 v. Memphis | Top | 34-21 | Win | 100 | 80 h 27 m | Show |
This is a 10* "ASSASSIN" on Cincinnati.
The Cincinnati Bearcats come off a 41-16 destruction of Connecticut and sit at 5-2 SU and 3-4 ATS. Brendan Kay finished an efficient 17-of-24, passing for 300 yards and four TDs. Kay also had a rushing TD in a career performance. Chris Moore had two receptions for 65 yards and two of those TD passes. Memphis is 1-5 SU and 3-3 ATS after a 29-34 loss to SMU on Oct 29. Paxton Lynch finished 26-for-36 for 198 yards, one TD and one INT in the loss. The Tiger offense stalled after its early success, amounting to only 116 yards in the half. Memphis would end the game with 320 yards, compared to 460 for SMU. Memphis has now lost three in row SU and is just 1-3 SU in home games this season. Memphis is 0-3 in AAC this season. 10-26-13 | Texas +1.5 v. TCU | Top | 30-7 | Win | 100 | 143 h 22 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Texas.
Visiting Texas is well rested after a bye week after 4-2 SU and 3-3 ATS after earning a 36-20 win over Oklahoma on October 12. Case McCoy finished 13-for-21, passing for 190 yards, two TDs and one INT. Texas had two 100-yard rushers in Johnathan Gray (29 carries for 123 yards) and Malcolm Brown (23 carries for 120 yards). TCU is 3-4 SU and 2-5 ATS after a 10-24 setback at Oklahoma State last Saturday. Trayvone Boykin finished 17-for-35 for 188 yards, zero TDs and three INTs. Texas is coming off a bye, and the team has been playing well since dropping consecutive games to BYU and Ole Miss in September. In their latest contest, the Longhorns took down then 12th-ranked Oklahoma, 36-20, in the latest installment of the Red River Rivalry on Oct. 12. UT is 20-5 coming off a bye week under head coach Mack Brown. Texas is 5-2 ATS coming off bye weeks the past three seasons. TCU is just 2-5 ATS as a favorite this season. Texas has been undervalued of late because of a poor start to the season. Look for the Longhorns to continue on a roll here and exact some revenge for a 21-13 loss last season at Texas. Grab the points with Texas. AAA |

10-26-13 | UCLA v. Oregon -21 | Top | 14-42 | Win | 100 | 143 h 53 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Oregon.
UCLA is 5-1 SU and ATS after a 10-24 loss to Stanford last Saturday. Against the stingy Stanford defense, UCLA really struggled. The normally effective offense for the Bruins managed a season-low 266 yards. quarterback Brett Hundley did not look as comfortable under center as he normally does. Hundley did complete better than 60 percent of his pass attempts (24-of-39), but totaled a season-low 192 yards and was intercepted twice, while being sacked a season-high four times. UCLA gave up a season-high 419 yards to the Cardinal. Oregon is 7-0 SU and 6-1 ATS last week after a 62-38 win over Washington State. Marcus Maroita finished 23-for-32 for 327 yards passing for two TDs and not INTs. Byron Marshall ran for 192 yards and three touchdowns. I played against the Ducks last week as the spread was somewhat ridiculous for even great team like Oregon cover in this college landscape, still I fully believe that the Ducks are one of the best teams in the nation and will run over UCLA in this game. These teams did not meet last season. The Ducks have taken the last four matchups and totaled 109 points in the past two. Lay the points with Oregon as the value switched this week. AAA |

10-26-13 | UNLV +6 v. Nevada | Top | 27-22 | Win | 100 | 142 h 53 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on UNLV.
UNLV is 4-3 SU and ATS after a 14-38 loss to ranked Fresno State. Quarterback Caleb Herring connected on 27-of-24 passes for 161 yards and a score, while being sacked three times. Shaquille Murray-Lawrence logged a game-high 79 yards rushing and a touchdown on just three carries. While giving up 641 yards of total offense, the Rebels generated a mere 294 yards, converting just 5-of-15 on third down and 1-of-4 on fourth down during the matchup. Nevada is 3-4 SU and ATS after a 17-34 loss to Boise State. Cody Fajardo managed to convert 22-of-29 passes for 208 yards, but he failed to get a single pass into the end zone while being sacked six times. Brandon Wimberly caught 11 passes for a game-high 121 yards, while Kendall Brock and Don Jackson both scored on the ground for the Pack in its second straight loss. UNLV has had a lot of unexpected success here and I expect it to continue for at least an ATS cover. With a lackluster defense dragging them down, the Wolf Pack won't be easily running away with a win this weekend. Last year Nevada won a close 42-37 matchup at UNLV and I expect another close one here. Take the points with the Running Rebels. AAA |

10-26-13 | Tennessee v. Alabama -28 | Top | 10-45 | Win | 100 | 139 h 24 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Alabama.
Tennessee is coming off an upset home win over South Carolina 23-21 last weekend. Justin Worely finished 19-for-34 for 179 yards passing, one TD and zero INTs. Marquez North had 102 yards receiving on three catches while Rajion Neal rushed for 77 yards and a TD in the win over 11th ranked S. Carolina on a last second FG. Alabama is 7-0 SU and 4-3 ATS after a 52-0 shutout of Arkansas last Saturday. A. J McCarron finished 15-of-21 for 180 yards and three TD passes. Drake needed just eight carries to reach 100 yards for the second straight week. T.J. Yeldon had 88 yards and a 24-yard touchdown on 12 carries. Yeldon caught four passes for 45 yards as the Crimson Tide avoided the upset bug that was taking place among top 10 teams last week. Alabama has really put its throats down on opponents of late after getting criticized for its defense after the Texas A&M game. Alabama have allowed just 16 points in five games since and have a stranglehold on the Championship Game berth. The Volunteers recorded a great win last week that should help Butch Jones in his bid to turn Tennessee around in a short time frame. However, winning in Tuscaloosa is a monumental task and one that the Vols simply aren't ready for. Alabama won |

10-26-13 | Temple +11 v. SMU | Top | 49-59 | Win | 100 | 139 h 55 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Temple.
Temple is now 1-6 SU and 4-3 ATS after getting its first win of the season, a 33-14 win over Army on Saturday. Freshmen QB P.J. Walker completed 10 of 16 attempts for 203 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. Jalen Fitzpatrick had four receptions for 128 yards and TD in the win. Temple had forced just three turnovers all season coming into the Army game, but got four out of the Black Knights. Southern Methodist is 2-4 SU and 4-1-1 ATS after a 34-29 upset win at Memphis. Garrett Gilbert threw for 321 yards and two touchdowns, Traylon Shead ran for two more scores and SMU won its first American Athletic Conference game. This spread is pretty high for two teams similar is talent. The Owls have been roughed up in a few tough matchups this season but have been a little underrated of late. Temple has covered the spread in three straight games. SMU has a shoddy record ATS this season and is just 6-7 ATS as a favorite the last few seasons. Note that SMU is just 0-2 ATS at home this season as well. Consider grabbing the points with an improving Temple team. AAA |

10-26-13 | Oklahoma State -13 v. Iowa State | Top | 58-27 | Win | 100 | 136 h 56 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Oklahoma State.
Oklahoma State sits at 5-1 SU after a 24-10 win at home over TCU. Clint Chelf completed 10 of 25 passes for 178 yards with one interception. Josh Stewart added 10 catches for 141 yards and had a 95-yard punt return for a touchdown, giving Oklahoma State enough offense to overcome four turnovers and a pair of missed field goals. Stewart finished with 265 all-purpose yards in the win. Iowa State is 5-1 SU and 3-3 ATS after a 71-7 beat down at Baylor. The Cyclones had nine first downs and three turnovers, although they spoiled Baylor's shutout with 47 seconds left on a 27-yard pass from Rohach to DeVondrick Nealy. Iowa State was outgained 714-164 in yardage by the Bears. Iowa State has now lost three in a row while the Cowboys have won two. Oklahoma State owns a 26-18-3 lead in the all-time series with Iowa State, and the Pokes won last year's meeting, 31-10. Opponents to the Cyclones are lighting up the scoreboard to the tune of 36.7 ppg, which happens to the be the worst yield in the Big 12.Once again that ISU is the second-best team in this matchup, as even in the face of unsettled times at the QB position, the Cowboys should have enough in the tank to pick up a solid road victory. Lay the points with Oklahoma State. AAA |

10-24-13 | Marshall -10.5 v. Middle Tenn State | Top | 49-51 | Loss | -110 | 96 h 15 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Marshall.
The 4-2 Marshall Thundering Herd sit in first place of Conference USA after a 24-23 narrow win over Florida Atlantic. Rakeem Cato finished with 216 yards passing and 45 yards rushing one TD and one INT in the game. Esray Taliaferro had 46 yards rushing on 10 carries in the win as the Thundering herd came back to win on a late FG. Middle Tennessee sits at 3-4 SU and ATS after a 7-34 loss to North Texas on October 12. The Blue Raiders only real source offense came from Austin Grammer who rushed 15 times for 106 yards including a TD run in the loss. Middle Tennessee has lost three in a row while Marshall has taken two straight. All but one opponent this season has scored at least 24 points against the Blue Raiders, which is why the team ranks 86th in points allowed with 29.9 ppg. Opponents are generating an average of 450.4 ypg (101st) and those are the sort of numbers that make it easy to send Middle Tennessee to the loss column on a consistent basis. With a passing game that is lacking and a red zone offense that is one of the worst in the country, it is hard to give Middle Tennessee any sort of edge even though the team is playing at home. Lay the points with Marshall. AAA |

10-19-13 | Washington State +38 v. Oregon | Top | 38-62 | Win | 100 | 131 h 44 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Washington State.
Washington State is 4-3 SU and 5-2 ATS this season after a 52-24 loss at Oregon State. Connor Halliday completed 26 of 49 passes for 248 yards as the Beavers were able to shut down WSU's potent pass attack. He was intercepted three times. The Cougars got two rushing TDs in the game. Oregon is 6-0 SU and ATS on the season after a 45-24 win at Washington last week. Marcus Mariota threw for 366 yards and three scores and rushed for 88 yards and another touchdown to lead Oregon. Byron Marshall had 19 carries for 106 yards and two TDs while Ducks had two receivers in Addison and Huff with over 100 receiving yards. The Ducks rolled up 631 total yards and averaged 7.8 yards per touch. Yes the Ducks have been perfect this year and will likely win this game by 30 plus points at home. Still, this is an outlandish spread in a game between FBS conference opponents. Washington State is already 3-0 ATS in road games this season and their worse loss was a 38 point one to Stanford. The odds makers are making Oregon bettors pay a steep price here and I think not even this high powered offense can live up to it. 10-19-13 | Florida State -2.5 v. Clemson | Top | 51-14 | Win | 100 | 129 h 15 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Florida State.
The fifth ranked Florida State Seminoles are 3-0 SU and 2-1 ATS in conference play. Florida State is 5-0 SU and 4-1 ATS on the season coming into this monster matchup with Clemson. The Seminoles are well rested coming off a bye week. Florida State romped Maryland 63-0 nothing prior to the break. Jameis Winston completed 23-of-32 passes for a career high 392 yards. The Redshirt freshman threw for five touchdowns in the win. Kenny Shaw had 96 yards and a TD reception. The Seminoles defense was dominant throughout the game as the Maryland offense was held to 234 yards and 33 yards rushing on 25 attempts. Third ranked Clemson is 4-0 SU and 2-1 ATS versus conference opponents. The Tigers sit at 6-0 SU and 3-2-1 ATS on the season as a whole after a 24-14 win over Boston College last week. Taj Boyd finished 30-for-44 for 334 yards and one TD score to go with no INTs in the win. Sammy Watkins had 107 yards receiving on seven receptions including a TD score. Boston College finished with 286 yards on offense, 162 of those coming on its two TD drives. It's the fifth straight game Clemson held an opponent to 14 points or less. This is the biggest game on the Saturday College Game Day and I expect both teams to come prepared to play. Florida State has the edge though in my eyes as the team is coming off a bye and should be all over the Clemson team that hasn |

10-19-13 | Washington +3.5 v. Arizona State | Top | 24-53 | Loss | -110 | 127 h 47 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Washington.
The 20th ranked Washington Huskies sit at 4-2 SU and ATS after a 24-45 loss to higher ranked Oregon. Keith Price finished 19-for-31 for 182 yards, one TD and one INT. Bishop Sankey racked up 167 yards rushing including two TDs in the loss. The Huskies gave up 633 total yards. Washington was third in the country giving up 3.9 yards per offensive play, but the Ducks averaged 7.9. Arizona State is 4-2 SU and 3-3 ATS after a 54-13 beat down of Colorado. Taylor Kelly accounted for three touchdowns on 9-for-19 and Marion Grice ran for two more in a dominating first half that led to rout. I played against Washington last week cause they were just outgunned by an Oregon team that is smashing teams this year. The Huskies will be looking to get back on the winning track here after two straight losses. In terms of overall defense Arizona State has been a mediocre squad. Lots of talent both squads but I really think we see a close game here and I like taking the points with a Huskies squad hungry for a win. AAA |

10-19-13 | Indiana v. Michigan -10 | Top | 47-63 | Win | 100 | 124 h 18 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Michigan.
Indiana is 1-1 in conference play and 3-3 SU and ATS after a 28-42 loss at Michigan State last Saturday. Indiana's Nate Sudfeld went 14 of 30 for 137 yards, although backup Tre Roberson threw two touchdown passes. Tevin Coleman had 17 rushes for 79 yards and a TD score. Michigan is also 1-1 in conference play. The Wolverines are 5-1 SU and 3-3 ATS after a four overtime 40-43 loss to Penn State last weekend. Devin Gardner went 15-for-28 passing for 270 yards, three TDs and two INTs. Michigan has won 17 straight, and 32 of the last 33 meetings with Indiana to take a commanding 52-9 lead in the all-time series. The Hoosiers' lone win during the span was back in 1987. The Hoosiers are giving up 32.8 points and 456.0 yards per game, the former ranking them 10th in the conference, and the latter dead last. The Michigan offense is averaging 39 points and 395.7 yards per tilt, with Gardner being personally responsible for the bulk of that production. Indiana is sure to put its best foot forward in an attempt to upset the Wolverines on their home field, but with the bad taste of defeat still lingering expect Michigan to be fired up to get back on track. Gardner should be able to exploit the Hoosiers' weak defense. Lay the points with Michigan at home. AAA |

10-19-13 | Florida -3 v. Missouri | Top | 17-36 | Loss | -105 | 121 h 8 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Florida.
The 22nd rank Florida Gators sit at 4-2 SU and 2-4 ATS after a 17-6 loss to LSU last week on the road. Tyler Murphy was 15-of-27 passing for 115 yards for the Gators who led 3-0 early, but managed just one more field goal on the day. Missouri has been without question one of the nation's biggest surprises this season, as it has yet to lose in six tries. The Tigers moved to 2-0 in the league last week with an outstanding 41-26 win over Georgia for their first win over a top-10 team on the road since 1981, resulting in a huge jump in the polls from No. 25 to No. 14. James Franklin finished 18-for-27 for 170 yards, one TD and no INT. The Tigers ended Georgia's streak of 15 straight home wins. The all-time series between these two programs is tied at 1-1. An unranked Missouri squad fought hard at No. 8 Florida last November but lost, 14-7. Despite its poor offense, Florida have been able to remain relevant on a national scale thanks to its outstanding defense, which ranks fourth nationally in points allowed (13.0 ppg) and third in yards permitted (235.3 ypg). Missouri will be without starting QB Franklin for this game and the rest of the season and I expect to have a tough time scoring any points in this game. Lay the short points with Florida in a highly likely bounce back game. AAA |

10-19-13 | South Carolina v. Tennessee +7.5 | Top | 21-23 | Win | 100 | 121 h 49 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Tennessee.
The 14th ranked South Carolina Gamecocks sit at 5-1 SU and 2-4 ATS after a 53 demolition of Arkansas last week. Conner Shaw finished 19-for-28 for 219 yards and was responsible for four TDs. Bruce Ellington had six receptions for 96 yards and two TDs. Mike Davis chipped in 128 yards rushing along with a TD score. Tennessee is 3-3 SU and ATS after a heartbreaking overtime loss to Georgia before last week |

10-18-13 | Central Florida v. Louisville -10.5 | Top | 38-35 | Loss | -106 | 106 h 56 m | Show |
This is a 10* "FRIDAY NIGHT SCORPION" on Louisville.
Central Florida comes into this Friday night game with a 4-1 SU and ATS record after a bye week proceeded by a 24-17 come from behind win over Memphis. Quarterback Blake Bortles was 17-of-36 for 160 yards. Bortles did not throw a touchdown pass, ending his streak of 12 straight games. Storm Johnson had 86 yards rushing while Breshad Perriman had seven receptions for 107 yards in the win. The Knights where outgained 397 yards to 270 but won the turnover battle 4-0 in the game. Louisville is 6-0 DU and 3-3 ATS after a 24-10 win over Rutgers last Thursday night. Teddy Bridgwater completed 21 of 31 passes for 310 yards and two touchdowns, but he also threw an interception and fumbled early in the fourth quarter on the last of two sacks. Senorise Perry had 13 carries for 107 yards and a TD in the win. With a 6-0 record entering play and wins in its last eight games dating back to last season, Louisville is clearly a formidable foe to O'Leary and the Knights. UFC was nearly upset let last week by Memphis in its ACC opener. The Cardinals are a far better team and should be up for a huge win here at home. Louisville has yet to allow more than 13 points in a game this season and don |

10-17-13 | Miami (Florida) -7.5 v. North Carolina | Top | 27-23 | Loss | -110 | 82 h 37 m | Show |
This is a 10* "DESTRUCTION" on Miami.
The visiting Miami Hurricanes sit at 5-0 SU and 4-1 ATS after a 45-30 at Georgia Tech. Stephan Morris shook off a slow start to finish 17-for-22 for 324 yards, three TDs and two INTs in the win. Duke Johnson finished with 325 all-purpose yards and the Hurricanes averaged 10.4 yards per snap against a defense that was giving up 4.7 per play coming into Saturday. North Carolina sits at 1-4 Du and 0-4-1 ATS after a 17-27 loss to Virginia Tech. Back up QB Marquise Williams finished 23 of 35 for 277 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. He also led the Tar Heels in rushing with 56 yards on 18 attempts. Quinshad Davis had six receptions for 94 yards and a TD. The Tar Heels won last year |

10-12-13 | Marshall -13 v. Florida Atlantic | Top | 24-23 | Loss | -110 | 150 h 15 m | Show |
This is a 10* "CONFERENCE USA GAME OF THE YEAR" on Marshall.
The visiting Marshall sits at 3-2 SU and 3-1-1 ATS after a 34-10 win over Tulsa last weekend. Rakeem Cato finished 22-for-32 passing for 279 yards, two TDS and zero INT. Essray Taliaferro added 58 yards and a TD while four different Herd receivers finished with more than 40 yards receiving on the day. Marshall held Tulsa to just 4-of-14 in third conversions and nearly doubled them up in yards gained. The victory improved the Thundering Herd to 1-0 in league action, making them one of only three teams left in the East Division without a loss to a C-USA foe. Host Florida Atlantic sits at 2-4 SU and 4-1-1 ATS after a 37-23 road win over UAB. Jaquez Johnson piled up a career-high 404 yards of total offense and accounted for three touchdowns to lead Florida Atlantic. Marshall is definitely a contender to win the C-USA Championship due to its excellence on both sides of the ball. With Cato leading the charge, the Herd are pacing the C-USA in scoring with 38.6 ppg, and total offense at 469.4 ypg. Although FAU had an impressive performance against UAB's porous defense last week, it comes into its game against the Herd averaging only 22.2 points and 368.8 total yards per tilt. The Owls have a big game coming up against Auburn after this matchup with Marshall so don |

10-12-13 | Oregon -12 v. Washington | Top | 45-24 | Win | 100 | 149 h 16 m | Show |
This is a 10* *BLOCKBUSTER* on Oregon.
The number two ranked Oregon Ducks sit at 5-0 SU and ATS spread heading this Pac12 battle with Washington on the road after a 57-16 beat down Colorado on the road last week. Marcus Mariota had a slow start but still finished 16-for-27 passing for 355 yards and five TDs in the game. Mariota also added 43 yards on the ground to go with to rushing TDs. Bralon Addison caught five passes for 155 yards and two TD scores while Josh Huff also had five receptions for 105 yards and two TD scores. Oregon racked up 755 yards of total offense on the night and night and held Colorado to a 0-15 on third down conversions. 16th ranked Washington sits at 4-1 SU and ATS after a 28-31 emotional loss on the road in Stanford. Keith Price completed 33 of 48 passes with one interception, and Bishop Sankey ran for 125 yards and two scores in an impressive fight against last year |

10-12-13 | Florida +6.5 v. LSU | Top | 6-17 | Loss | -110 | 149 h 47 m | Show |
This is a 10* *BLOCKBUSTER* on Florida.
The 17th ranked Florida is 4-1 SU and ATS after 30-10 win over Arkansas last Saturday. Tyler Murphy was an efficient 16-for 22 for 240 yards, three TDs and no INTs. Solomon Patton had six receptions for 124 yards and two TD passes from Murphy. Florida's defense was its typical dominant self. Although the unit allowed a season-high 115 yards rushing, most of those came in the first half. LSU is 5-1 SU and 3-2-1 ATS after a 59-26 win over Mississippi State. Zach Mettenberger threw for 340 yards and two touchdowns while Odell Beckham had 179 yards receiving and two TDs. It was actually a pretty close game until the Tigers ended it with a late 34-0 run. This is the marquee game of the week as these SEC power house teams get at it. Florida was expected to struggle with the injury to QB Jake Driscoll but Murphy has been very adequate as a game manager and thrower. The Gators are again one of the top defensive teams and that is going to be what keeps this game close. Florida allows 217.0 yards per game, second-fewest in the country, while its 12.2 opponent scoring average is tied for the FBS' fourth-lowest. LSU's defense has been a little bit vulnerable but you can also chalk that up to a high scoring affair versus Georgia. The Tigers are surrendering an average of 466.3 yards in conference play. This game should be very close and the Gators just might have what it takes to pull out the outright win. Lay the points here in a top play. AAA |

10-12-13 | Kent State v. Ball State -14 | Top | 24-27 | Loss | -110 | 148 h 18 m | Show |
This is a 10* *BLOCKBUSTER* on Ball State.
The visiting Kent State Golden Flashes sit at 2-4 SU and ATS after a 24-38 loss to Northern Illinois last week. Colin Reardon finished 16-for 35 for 209 yards, two TDs and 1 INTs in the loss. Dri Archer had four receptions for 80 yards in the loss. The Golden Flashes where outgained 698 yards to 292 in the loss. Ball State continues to roll at 5-1 SU and ATS on the season having won their third straight game over a member of a BCS conference and overall as they coasted to a 48-27 decision over the Cavaliers at Virginia last week. Keith Wenning finished the game 23-for-41 for 346 yards, two TDs Jahwan Edwards was dominant in the win rushing 24 times for 154 yards including three TDs. Ball State gained 506 total yards and the Virginia defense had no answer. It hasn |

10-12-13 | Nebraska -14 v. Purdue | Top | 44-7 | Win | 100 | 145 h 20 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Nebraska.
The Cornhuskers kept it rolling last week with a 39-19 win over Illinois brining its record to 4-1 SU and 3-2 ATS on the season. Nebraska was paced by Ameer Abdullah who ran for a career-high 225 yards and two touchdowns. Tommy Armstrong, starting his second straight game in place of injured quarterback Taylor Martinez finished 8 of 13 for 135 yard for touchdowns on his first three series and was solid throughout. Nebraska kept an Illinois offense that was averaging over 40 points coming into the game in check. Purdue sits at 1-4 SU and ATS coming off a bye week following a 24-55 loss to Northern Illinois. Danny Etling finished 19-for-39 for 249 yards, two TDs and two INTs in the loss. DeAngelo Yancey had seven receptions for 117 yards in the loss. The Boilermakers lost for the thirds straight game and were struggling so bad in the first half that Darrell Hazell yanked starting quarterback Rob Henry and inserted true freshman Danny Etling. The knock of the Cornhuskers had been its defense heading into last week but the team silenced a lot of critics with that good performance on Illinois. Nebraska is 3-1 ATS as the favorite this season while Purdue is 1-3 ATS as the underdog. Even playing at home, it is tough to imagine Purdue hanging around for very long in this one. Look for Nebraska to lean on its potent ground game again and roll to an easy ATS win. AAA |

10-12-13 | Kansas v. TCU -24.5 | Top | 17-27 | Loss | -110 | 145 h 19 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on TCU.
The visiting Kansas Jayhawks sit at 2-2 SU and 0-4 ATS after a 16-54 loss to Texas Tech last week. Jake Heaps finished 16-for-32 for 189 yards, one TD and one INT in the loss. Tony Pierson had 118 yards on six receptions and Darrian Miller chip in 67 yards on the ground. The Jayhawks scored the first 10 points of the game but proceeded to allow the next 54 to Red Raiders. TCU is 2-3 SU and ATS after a narrow 17-20 loss to Oklahoma on the road last week. Trayvon Boykin finished 16-of 26 for 166 yards for no TDs and zero INTs. The Horned Frogs struggled offensively but were strong defensively as the Oklahoma and TCU combined for just 560 yards in the game. TCU has indeed struggled to score points this season but a matchup with Kansas is going to be a remedy to that. The Horned Frogs |

10-11-13 | Temple v. Cincinnati -20 | Top | 20-38 | Loss | -110 | 130 h 30 m | Show |
This is a 10* "ASSASSIN" on Cincinnati.
The visiting Temple Owls sit at 0-5 SU and 2-3 ATS after a 7-30 loss to Louisville last week. P.J. Walker completed 10-of-19 passes for 182 yards, one TD and one INT. Walker added 33 yards on the ground on 12 carries. Robbie Anderson had three receptions for a team high 73 yards in the loss. The Owls were out gained 525-255 by Louisville. Cincinnati is 3-2 SU and 2-3 ATS after a 20-26 loss to south Florida on the road. Brendan Klay finished 26-for-35 for 240 yards three TDs and two INTs. Anthony McClung had eight receptions for 90 yards. The Bearcats outgained the Bulls 350 yards to 241 on the night but it was the four turnovers that killed them. Note that I played on the Owls last week as the big underdog versus high ranked Louisville. I feel the shoe is on the other foot here as the Bearcats are at home and steaming mad after a loss on the road. There has been very little to like about Temple in terms of overall defense as it ranks last in the league in total yards allowed per game (518). A year ago Cincinnati rolled over Temple 34-10. The Owls are even weaker this season, especially on offense. Cincinnati should have no problem repeating a similar performance. AAA |

10-10-13 | Arizona v. USC -5 | Top | 31-38 | Win | 100 | 109 h 37 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on USC.
The visiting Wildcats sit at 3-1 SU and 2-1-1 ATS are well rested after a bye week following a 13-31 loss to conference rival Washington. B.J. Denker was an ineffective 14-35 for 119 yards for no TDs and two INTs. Denker did rush 11 times for 56 yards and a TD on the night. KaDeem Carey was the main chain mover for Arizona, rushing for 132 yards on the ground as well hauling four catches for 49 yards on the night. Host for this matchup USC sit at 3-2 SU and 1-4- ATS after a 41-62 loss on the road to Arizona State. Cody Kessler finished the game 20-29 for 295 yards for two TDs and 2 INTs. Tre Madden and Justin Davis each rushed for over a 100 yards and scored three touchdowns for USC. The loss spelt the end for the Lane Kiffin era at Southern California and the Trojans will be starting this game with a fresh look. I fully expect Trojans to be refreshed here and come away with the win. A shootout in the desert ended in a 39-36 win for Arizona when these teams met last season but the Trojans still have a massive lead on the all-time series. Even though the Trojans lost their head coach, there is hope left for the season. Led by Breslin the Trojans' defense has the ability to get into the backfield and slow the Wildcats; ground game. No need to think the Trojans have lost something with the exit of Lane Kiffin. Lay the points the home team. AAA |

10-10-13 | San Diego State -3.5 v. Air Force | Top | 27-20 | Win | 100 | 107 h 8 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on San Diego State.
The visiting Aztec sit at 2-3 SU and ATS after a 51-44 OT win over Nevada last week. Quinn Kaehler, who completed 23 of 32 passes for 286 yards and three touchdowns, threw a 9-yard pass to Adam Muema on a first-down play in overtime. Adam Muema and Donnell Pumphrey were effective rushers as Muema had 134 yards rushing and two touchdowns and Pumphrey had 112 yards, including a spectacular 72 yard TD run in the first quarter. The host Air Force have lost five in a row and sit at 1-5 SU and 2-3 ATS after a 10-28 loss to rival Navy Friday night. Karson Roberts finished just 6-of-14 for 67 yards no TDs and one INT. Broam Lee and Jon Lee both rushed for 60 plus yards as the Falcons attempted just 17 passes for 87 yards. Air Force had 285 yards rushing in the game. San Diego had a really tough start to the season with games against Ohio State, Oregon State and Eastern Illinois but has started to come into stride here as the team has won two in row coming into this matchup. Air Force did not look good as weekend and is 0-3 ATS already this season at home and 3-13 ATS at home the last three seasons. Lay the short points with San Diego State. AAA |

10-10-13 | Rutgers v. Louisville -16.5 | Top | 10-24 | Loss | -110 | 106 h 38 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on Louisville.
Rutgers sits at 4-1SU and 2-3 ATS after a 55-52 triple OT narrow win at SMU last week. Gary Nova finished 19-33 for 234 yards four passing TDs one rushing TD and 1 INT in the win. Justin Goodwin had 24 carries for 149 yards and two TD scores and added two receptions for 72 yards including a TD reception. The Scarlet Knights were outgained 558-to-447 in the win. The eighth ranked Louisville Cardinals sit at 4-0 SU and 3-2 ATS after a 30-7 win over Temple last week. Heisman trophy candidate Teddy Bridgwater finished the night 25-for-35 for 348 yards and two TDs. The defense held the Owls to 255 yards and gave Bridgewater plenty of shots on offense. Eli Rogers had five receptions for 74 yards and a TD. These teams know each other pretty well from old Big East conference play. Last year the Cardinals came out on top of a 20-17 game where Teddy Bridgewater was not starting. Defense was the calling card a year ago for the Scarlet Knights. This season Rutgers has shown more weakness in that area, allowing 27.6 points and 376.8 yards per game. This Cardinals team is much more potent this year and are the big favorites at home for a reason. Last week I played against the Cardinals because I felt the extra value was in a back door cover for Temple. This week the value is with the powerhouse Louisville team that will be playing its first real team on a National broadcast this year. Lay the points with Louisville which will be looking to get the massive win and make a statement. AAA |

10-05-13 | Missouri +1.5 v. Vanderbilt | Top | 51-28 | Win | 100 | 145 h 27 m | Show |
This is a 10* "SUPER-BLOWOUT" on Missouri.
Missouri is 4-0 SU and 3-1 ATS after a 41-19 thrashing of Arkansas State last weekend. James Franklin completed 21-of-30 passed for 256 yards while throwing three TD passes. Franklin also added 33 yards on five carries and a rushing TD. Dorial-Green-Beckham had four receptions for 95 yards and two TD catches. The Tigers were sluggish for a large portion of this game but turned it on when it meant the most. Vanderbilt is 3-2 SU and 2-3 ATS this season after a 52-24 beat down of UAB last week. Vanderbilt quarterback Austyn Carta-Samuels ran for a touchdown and threw for two more, completing 23-29 passes for a career high 334 yards. Jerron Seymour ran for a pair of first-half touchdowns and finished with 107 yards on 12 carries while Jordan Matthews had over 100 yards receiving in the romp. This looks to be a very tough matchup for both teams as the odds makers have it at almost a dead even heap. Last year it was Vandy who took a 19-15 win over Missouri in its stadium. I fully expect the Tigers to be revenged motivated in this game to get a win. Vanderbilt is just 1-2 ATS at home this season and has not shown me enough on a consistent basis to get backed here against a strong Missouri team. Take Missouri at almost a pick-em price. AAA |

This is a 10* "ART OF WAR" on Fresno State.
The visiting 24th-ranked Fresno State Bulldogs sit at 4-0 SU but 0-4 ATS after a 42-37 win at Hawaii last week. The Bulldogs were all over Hawaii for 2 1/2 quarters, and then had to hold off the Rainbow Warriors' bid for a big comeback. Derek Carr passed for 324 yards and two touchdowns- both to Josh Harper and Marteze Waller added two rushing scores. Fresno held a 39 point lead before deciding to basically give up and allow Hawaii to score 34 unanswered points. This was a week after scoring a one point win over Boise State at home. Idaho got its first win of the season last week, taking down a struggling Temple team 26-24 to move to 1-4 SU and 2-3 ATS. Chad Chalich rushed for 114 yards and threw for 310 and a score, and freshman Austin Rehkow kicked four field goals. Fresno State hasn |

This is a 10* "PLATINUM CLUB INSIDER" on Kansas State.
Kansas State is 2-2 SU and ATS after a 21-31 loss to Texas on the road September 21st. John Hubert scored two touchdowns and Tyler Lockett had 13 catches for 237 yards for Kansas State. Jake Waters finished 19-for-30 for 275 yards in the loss. After converting on just 2-of-10 third downs in their season-opening loss to FCS foe North Dakota State, the Wildcats have moved the chains on 24-of-41 third-down chances. The Wildcats should be well rested after having a week off. Oklahoma State sits at 3-1 and 2-2 ATS. The Cowboys were on a roll until last weeks |

Jahwan Edwards rushed for 86 yards and three TDs including the game winning TD. QB Terrance Owens completed 34-of-46 passes for 274 yards one TD and one INT. Willie Snead chipped in seven receptions for 131 yards. Virginia is 2-2 SU and ATS after a 3-14 setback last week to Pittsburgh. Danny Watford finished just 15-of-37 for 123 yards with zero TD |

This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Temple.
The visiting Owls are coming off a Bye week. Temple sits at 0-4 SU and 1-3 ATS after an 24-26 set-back to Idaho on September 21. Conner Reilly threw for 249 yards and one score for Temple. Harper had 11 carries for 61 yards and two touchdowns. Linebacker Tyler Matakevich came up with 24 tackles for the Owls, a school record. The Owls made a furious comeback in the second half but fell short. It was the second straight game the Owls fell short of a few points of winning a matchup. The 7th ranked Louisville Cardinals is 4-0 SU and 3-1 ATS this season. Louisville last saw action on the 21st as well, crushing a winless Florida International. 72-0. It was a dominant performance on both sides of the ball. Teddy Bridgewater threw four touchdown passes and Louisville's defense allowed a school-record 30 yards. Bridgewater had 212 yards on 17-of-22 passing, part of Louisville's 464-yard effort. The big win was expected for the Cardinals there but I expect a small letdown here in this game coming off a bye week. The Temple Owls come in as the large underdog after losing last year |

This is a 10* "ASSASSIN" on BYU.
The BYU Broncos sit at 2-2 SU and ATS after a 37-10 beat down of Middle Tennessee State last weekend. Taysom Hill ran for 165 yards and two touchdowns and threw for 177 yards and made big plays all over the field. Mike Alisa chipped in with two TD runs for the Broncos who finished with 309 yards rushing and 486 yards of total offense. They limited the Blue Raiders to 212 yards in the win. Utah State is 3-2 SU and ATS after a 40-12 blowout win over San Jose State. Chuckie Keaton completed 29 of 42 passes for 260 yards for three TD passes as well as adding 52 yards and a rushing TD. Utah State had three interceptions and forced one fumble in the win. The last two meetings between these two teams have been decided by an average of three points and I expect this game to be very close as well. BYU is a perfect 8-0 ATS as the underdog the last three seasons and is 4-0 ATS versus Mountain West opponents. Take the points with BYU. AAA |

10-03-13 | UCLA -4 v. Utah | Top | 34-27 | Win | 100 | 102 h 57 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on UCLA.
The 12th ranked UCLA Bruins sit at 3-0 SU and ATS on the young season. The Bruins are well rested after bye week, having not played since September 21st 59-13 home win over New Mexico. Standout QB Brett Hundley completed 25-of-35 passes for 280 yards and three TDs and two INTs before giving away to backups in the blowout. Jordan James had 19 carries for 164 yards and two TDs. 12 different Bruin receivers had at least two receptions and double digit yards as the Bruins racked up 692 yards of offense. The Bruins will be opposed by the host Utah Utes in this meeting. Utah is 3-1 SU and ATS after a 20-13 win road win over BYU. Travis Wilson completed 24-of-35 passes for 273 yards and two TDs. Drew Anderson had eight receptions for 141 yards while James Pool added 96 rushing yards in the win. The Utes were actually outgained 443 to 402 in yards for the game despite getting the win. Utah stifled BYU's offense throughout the first half. The Cougars went 3-and-out on four possessions and crossed midfield only three times. UCLA along with Oregon makeup a couple of PAC 12 teams that are making the SEC take notice of teams out west that could really contend for a national title. The Bruins have yet to show any signs of slowing down and I don |

Western Kentucky has wins over Kentucky, Morgan State and Navy while suffering setbacks to Tennessee and S. Alabama. UL Monroe is 2-3 SU and 1-3 ATS after 14-31 loss to Tulane. Kolton Browning went 12-for-27 for zero TDs and zero INT. While it was an ugly passing game for the Warhawks had 253 yards rushing. The Warhawks have lost two in a row now and have really only one good one win over Wake Forest. Western Kentucky is the better team and is coming off two straight wins. Western Kentucky is 1-0 ATS in games at UL Monroe the last few seasons. The Hilltoppers have been a spread covering machine of late and are 6-1 ATS after two consecutive straight up wins. Note that on the road, Western Kentucky is an impressive 11-2. Take the better team in Western Kentucky and lay the points. AAA |

This is a 10* "PLATINUM CLUB INSIDER" on Miami.
The Miami Hurricanes are 3-0 heading into Week 4 after a glorified scrimmage with Savannah State ending in a 77-7 win for the U. Dallas Crawford and Gus Edwards both scored three touchdowns and Miami got into the end zone on its first seven possessions. The Hurricanes never punted in the game, in which the fourth quarter was shortened to 12 minutes by mutual consent of the coaches. A preview of this team as in Week 2 where the Hurricanes won a big game with Florida, another team ranked in the AP Top 25. South Florida is 0-3 and come in as a big underdog at home home after a bye week that followed a 10-28 loss to Florida Atlantic on Sept. 14th. The struggling Bulls had Penn State transfer Steven Bench come into the game versus FAU to replace a struggling Bobby Eveld. Bench went 8-for-23 for 128 yards one TD and one INT in the loss. This game will be televised on ESPN and is likely to be a very big blowout as Miami will want to showcase it |

This is a 10* "ART OF THE GAME" on San Jose State.
The visiting Utah State Aggies are 2-2 after a road loss at USC 17-13. Utah State's Chuckie Keeton completed 21 of 39 passes for 179 yards and two touchdowns. He threw for 923 yards and 12 touchdowns in his team's first three games this season. Joey DeMartino rushed nine times for 72 yards. It was a tight game where the Aggies gained just 285 total yards. San Jose State Spartans are a disappointing 1-2 to start the season after a season where the team were 11-2. San Jose State were crushed 24-43 last week by Minnesota. David Fales threw for 439 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions for San Jose State. Chandler Jones had seven catches for 197 yards and three touchdowns for the Spartans, who were missing top receiver Noah Grigsby with a knee injury. The Spartans turned over the ball three times in this game and it was a killer as they actually outgained the Gophers 486-424 in total yards. Utah State demolished the Spartans a season ago, 49-27. While this looks like a mismatch here, getting points with the Spartans is god value as the team is playing its |

This is a 10* "ABC-TV BLOCKBUSTER" on Texas.
The Kansas State Wildcats will be making its first road trip of the year here as conference play opens up with a tough matchup in Texas. The Wildcats ran over UMass 37-7 in wining its second in a row. Jon Hubert ran for 118 yards on 18 carries. Jake Waters added 115 yards passing and two touchdowns for the Wildcats in a game that was over before halftime. Kansas State was upset by North Dakota State in the opener but has bounced back two easy wins. Texas is a disappointing 1-2 after two really disappointing losses to first BYU then Ole Miss last week. QB Case McCoy was 24-36 for 196 yards and one touchdown in the 23-44 loss to the Running Rebels. Jonathan Gray had 91 yards rushing and one score for the Longhorns while Jaxon Shipley added 86 yards receiving. There is a lot of negatively surrounding the Long Horns at this moment as the team started the year ranked at 15 but has since plummeted after the two big loses. I expect the team to finally bounce back here and get a win while covering a spread that is quite manageable versus a beatable Kansas State team. The Wildcats will playing their first road this season and there should be a little bit of a shock here as UT is never an easy place to play. Texas is 3-1 ATS when coming off two losses the past three seasons. This is the first of real competition for Wildcats this season and I expect it to be difficult. Lay the short points with Texas as it answers some of the critics this week. AAA |

This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Boise State.
The Boise State Broncos start Week 4 2-1 as they play under the lights at Fresno State. The Broncos are coming off a 42-20 win over Air Force last Saturday. QB Joe Southwick turned in a standout performance, completing 27-of-29 passes and one touchdown. The passing efficiency was the best in school history. Southwick also ran for a touchdown in this game as he ran for 56 yards on six carries. Matt Miller had 10 receptions for 112 yards in the win. Fresno State followed up an impressive overtime home win over Rutgers with a 41-25 tune up over Cal Poly in Week 2. The game with Colorado in Week 3 was suspended due to weather so Fresno State is essentially working off a bye week. In the game against Poly Cal, the Bulldogs Isaiah Burse had three touchdowns, two on punt returns, to lead Fresno State. QB David Carr was 22 |

This is a 10* "ART OF WAR" on Kansas.
Kansas is 1-0 after opening last Saturday at home nicely in a 31-14 win over South Dakota. The rushing attack did the majority of the damage, racking up 280 yards on 50 carries. James Sims had a strong season debut with 94 yards and two touchdowns. Darrian Miller was also impressive with 72 yards on 14 totes. It was good start for a Jayhawks team that finished last season on an 11 game losing streak. Despite the fact that South Dakota is a FCS team, the Jayhawks' defensive effort was nonetheless impressive, as the unit yielded just 286 total yards. Rice is 0-1 after a tough opening game matchup against the much talked about Texas A@M. The offense was able to keep up with the Aggies for most of the game but it was the defense that let it down in the end. The unit surrendered 486 yards and allowed Manziel to march up and down the field with ease in the second half. While Rice does have a good offense and the better overall team, I think the Owls suffer a bit of a letdown here as Kansas is in no way as sexy as a matchup than Texas A&M was. Kansas is much improved from last year |

09-14-13 | Georgia State +39 v. West Virginia | Top | 7-41 | Win | 100 | 97 h 5 m | Show |
This is a 10* "ART OF THE GAME" on Georgia State.
Georgia State is 0-2 and has struggled in its first couple seasons fielding a football team. Playing out of the Sun Belt conference this season has made things doubly as rough. Playing home games in the Georgia Dome, the Panthers first bowed to Samford in the opener by a score of 31-21 on Aug. 30, and then followed that up with a 42-14 loss versus Chattanooga this past weekend, which means they've now dropped six in a row overall. West Virginia comes in at 1-1 and has its own problems. The Mountaineers scored just 7 points in a 7-16 loss to Oklahoma. Quarterback Paul Millard remained in the pocket as he converted 21-of-41 passes for 218 yards, was picked off once and suffered a sack. The team was no world beater either in its home opener against William and Mary scoring just a 24-17 win. While West Virginia is the better team and will likely win this game at home. It is a lot to ask for a team to cover that big of spread here against an also desperate Georgia State. Grab the Points with Georgia State. AAA |

This is a 10* "SUPER-SIDE" on Louisville.
The seventh ranked Louisville Cardinal visit Kentucky in Week 3 of the season. Louisville is 2-0 after dominating its first two of games. The Cardinals beat up on Ohio 40-7 and Eastern Kentucky 44-7. QB Teddy Bridgwater has played like a Heisman candidate in the first two games, completing a ridiculous 76.7 percent of his pass attempts (46- of-60) and totaled 752 yards and nine touchdowns to just one interception. His 228.1 efficiency rating is second among quarterbacks that have played in two games this season. Bridgewater has also thrown a touchdown in 14 straight games. DeVante Paker showed up against Eastern Kentucky, receiving a pair of touchdown passes and gaining 134 yards in teh win over E. Kentucky. The Cardinals have allowed just two offensive scores, held foes to 239.5 yards per game. Meanwhile the Cardinals have converted on all seven of their own red zone chances they have only let up two scores in four chances by opponents. Kentucky out of the SEC is 1-1, bouncing back from a loss to Western Kentucky in the opener to blowout Miami Ohio 41-7. The Wild Cats use a spread offense while working two QB |
