07-21-18 | Rockies +149 v. Diamondbacks | 6-5 | Win | 149 | 10 h 45 m | Show
The Rockies came back from a 2-5 deficit in last nights game with the Diamondbacks to win, 8-5. The win was the team's 6th in a row as they surge in the NL West. It's a traffic jam in the West with four teams all close to the top spot. That makes these division games even more important. Today the Rockies look to extend their win streak with Kyle Freeland on the mound. Freeland is 8-6 with a 3.11 ERA. Freeland has been hot, allowing two runs or less in each of his last six starts. In addition, he's allowed just two runs over his last 10 2/3 innings. The D'backs have now lost two straight and dropped to second in the West. A loss today and they can drop to third. Zack Godley will toe the rubber for the D'backs. Godley is 11-6 in his 19 starts with a 4.66 ERA. Godley has also been very consistent, allowing just two runs over his last 12 innings. Both teams and pitchers are evenly matched, the only thing not is the line where the Rockies are a big dog. I hit a big dog with the Braves last night, I'm set to do it again tonight. Play the Rockies |

07-21-18 | Pirates +111 v. Reds | 6-2 | Win | 111 | 9 h 45 m | Show
The Pirates have been red-hot, winners of their last seven games in a row. The Pirates recent win streak has gotten the team back to the .500 mark at 49-49. The Bucs easily won game one of this series with the Reds, 12-1. Today they send Nick Kingham to the hill. Kinghill is 4-4 in his nine games with a 4.26 ERA. Kingham has pitched very well of late, allowing just four runs over his last 12 2/3 innings with two BB's and 14 KO's. The Reds have lost two straight games and dropped to 43-54 on the season. Today they send Anthony Deslafani to the hill. Desclafani is 4-2 in his eight starts with a 5.32 ERA. Desclafani has got roughed up in two of his last three starts, allowing 12 runs over his last three starts (15 2/3 innings). The Pirates have momentum and we get them as a small dog here today. Play Pittsburgh. |
07-20-18 | Braves +167 v. Nationals | 8-5 | Win | 167 | 8 h 58 m | Show
The Braves are hoping to duplicate their success in the first half of the season that led to a 52-42 record. The open a three-game set here today at Washington. The Braves won their last game of the 1st half over the Diamondbacks, 5-1. Today they send Anibal Sanchez to the hill. Sanchez is 4-2 in his 11 starts with a nice 2.73 ERA and 1.005 WHIP. Sanchez had a great first to the first half, allowing just two runs in his last two starts (12 2/3 innings) and not allowing over three runs in seven of his last eight starts. Washington had a sub-par first half of the season, finishing with just a 48-48 record. Stephen Strasburg will start today with a 6-6 record and 3.46 ERA. Strasburg has pitched well, though the team has lost his last two starts and two of his last three. Braves way too big a dog today considering they have the hotter pitcher on the hill and the better record. Live dog action here with the visitor. Take Atlanta |
07-17-18 | National League v. American League -126 | 6-8 | Win | 100 | 24 h 45 m | Show
The All Star game is tonight and finally MLB got smart enough to remove the attachment to the World Series home field advantage. This was a silly thing to pin on a game that is for fun, especially when it can impact a team that has had a great season and deserves home field throughout the playoffs. That being said, this is also the fourth straight game being played at a National League park. The AL will bat last and officially be the home team though. The AL has dominated this series, winning five straight, including the last three at NL parks. The NL did have a bit of success in 2012 - 2010 where they won three straight. However, the AL won the previous 12 of 13 games. That means the AL has now won 15 of the last 18 years against the senior circuit. That's a pretty impressive streak for any sport's All-Star game. I'm going to stick with that trend here tonight and take the AL. |
07-15-18 | Mariners v. Rockies -152 | 3-4 | Win | 100 | 4 h 55 m | Show
Reason: Colorado has won four straight games as they close out the first half of the season. The look for the sweep here today vs the Mariners. The Rockies have won 10-7 and then yesterday 4-1 over Seattle. In fact, the Rockies are kind of sad to see the break, having won 10 of their last 12 games. Tyler Anderson will start today. Anderson is 6-3 for Colorado with a 3.76 ERA. Anderson has allowed just one run over his last three starts (20 innings). Seattle will start Mike Leake today. Leake is 8-6 on the year with a 4.36 ERA and 1.323 WHIP. Leake has struggled recently, allowing eight earned runs over his last eight innings with three walks and just five KO's. The Rockies are hot and they have the edge on the mound today too. I'm playing Colorado. |
07-14-18 | Phillies -157 v. Marlins | Top | 0-2 | Loss | -157 | 5 h 16 m | Show |
The Phillies got a great pitching effort from Jake Arrieta on Friday to shut down the Marlins, 0-2. The Phils will try to make it three in a row with a win today. To do so, they send Aaron Nola to the hill. Nola is 12-2 and by far the best pitcher the Phillies have this season. Nola has a outstanding 2.27 ERA and 0.984 WHIP. In addition, Nola has allowed just two total runs over his last three starts (21 2/3 innings) with just five walks and 27 KO's. The Marlins dropped to 39-57 with their loss on Friday. Trevor Richards heads to the hill today for the fish. Richards is 2-5 with a 5.24 ERA. Nola has been outstanding and I look for another excellent Phillies start today. Play Philadelphia. |
07-13-18 | Phillies v. Marlins +130 | 2-0 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 53 m | Show
The Marlins took two of three games from the Brewers as they head into their final series before the break. The Marlins will turn to Wei-Yin Chen tonight. Chen is just 2-6 on the season with a lofty 6.14 ERA and 1.546 WHIP. He's been inconsistent, pitching well one game and getting shelled the next. The Phillies will turn to Jake Arrieta who is 6-6 on the season with a 3.47 ERA. The Phils are a pretty good road favorite here and the key to this game is finding out which Chen will show up. I think we'll get the good one tonight. Chen has been so much better at home where he has a 1.89 ERA in his six starts and and the Marlins are 4-2. Chen at home as a dog has some great value here. Play Miami. |
07-12-18 | Rays -115 v. Twins | Top | 1-5 | Loss | -115 | 12 h 3 m | Show |
Tampa Bay continues their surge. It was just a week or so ago that they climbed back to .500 mark. Now, the club is 48-44 with their recent five game win streak. The Rays took two of three from the Mets and then swept the Tigers. Today they start a four-game set with the Twins. The Rays begin the series with their Ace on the hill, Blake Snell. Snell is 12-4 on the season with a nice 2.10 ERA. Snell has now allowed over one run in any of his last four starts and just one time in his last nine starts. The Twins are still eight games under .500 at 41-49. They will turn to Kyle Gibson today. Gibson is just 3-6 this season with a 3.59 ERA. Gibson has allowed 11 runs over his last three starts. Snell has been amazing and today we'll stick with the Rays Ace here. Play Tampa Bay. |
07-12-18 | Diamondbacks v. Rockies +103 | 1-5 | Win | 103 | 5 h 3 m | Show
The Rockies have split their first two games with Arizona, taking last night's contest 19-2. The Rockies will send Kyle Freeland to the hill today with a 8-6 record and 3.18 ERA. Freeland has been even better at Coors field, posting a 5-2 record and 2.89 ERA. Freeland has not allowed more than two runs in any of his last four starts. The D'backs will start Robbie Ray today. Ray is 3-1 in his nine starts with a 5.23 ERA and lofty 1.488 WHIP. Ray has allowed 10 runs over his last 9 1/3 innings of work with five walks. Strange that Colorado is a +1.00 dog here against a poor pitcher like Ray. I'll take the good price on the home team. Play Colorado. |
07-10-18 | Cardinals -158 v. White Sox | Top | 14-2 | Win | 100 | 10 h 40 m | Show |
White Sox have now lost five straight games as they begin their IL series tonight with the Cardinals. The Astros blasted the Sox, outscoring them 29-14. Dylan Covey will start for the Sox tonight. Covey is 3-4 with a 5.01 ERA. Covey has got hit hard late, allowing 22 runs over his last four starts (15 innings). The Cardinals lost two of their three game set with the Giants. They work their way back East after their West Coast swing. Miles Mikolas has been excellent for the red birds, posting a 9-3 record this season with a nifty 2.63 ERA and 1.033 WHIP. Mikolas has allowed just five total runs over his last three starts (19 innings). Huge edge today to the Cardinals in starters, plus St Louis just is the better team. Play the Cardinals. |
07-09-18 | Cubs v. Giants -114 | 1-2 | Win | 100 | 12 h 30 m | Show
The Cubs are in second place in the NL Central, trailing the Brewers. Chicago has won two straight and eight of the last nine games. They will start Kyle Hendricks today who is 5-8 on the season with a 4.27 ERA. Hendricks has had a rough time of late, allowing 13 runs over his last three starts (13 2/3 innings). Kenricks has walked seven and struck out just eight during that span. The Cubs make the trip West today to take on the Giants. The Giants split their four-game series with the Cardinals, taking the finale on Sunday, 13-8. Today, they will start Andrew Suarez. Suarez is 3-5 with a 3.92 ERA. Suarez has pitched very well of late, allowing just three runs over his last three starts (19 2/3 innings) with just three BB's and 15 KO's. Suarez pitching very well compared to Kendricks. I'm taking the Giants here tonight. |
07-08-18 | Reds v. Cubs -143 | 5-6 | Win | 100 | 4 h 60 m | Show
The Cubs and Reds have split the first two games of this series with the Reds winning last night, 8-7. The Reds have now won seven of their last eight games. They send one of the leagues best to the hill today in Jon Lester. Lester is among the MLB leaders in ERA with a 2.25 ERA and 11-2 record. Lester has allowed more than two runs just one time in his last 11 starts. The Reds dropped to 39-50 with the loss last night. They will counter with Luis Castillo. Castillo is 5-8 in his 18 starts with a 5.53 ERA and 1.378 WHIP. Castillo has allowed less than three runs just one time in his last seven starts. Cubs should have little trouble here today. Play Chicago. |
07-08-18 | Braves v. Brewers -120 | 3-10 | Win | 100 | 4 h 49 m | Show
The Brewers sit atop the NL Central division with their 53-36 record. They have taken two of the first three from the Braves, losing last night 1-5. Junior Guerra will start today with a 5-5 record and 2.87 ERA. Guerra has pitched well, allowing no runs in his last start over five innings. The Braves are in first place in the NL East with a 50-38 record. They will send Sean Newcomb to the hill today with a 8-3 record and 3.10 ERA. Newcomb has allowed eight runs over his last two starts (8 2/3 innings) with seven walks and just eight KO's. I like the Brewers today with Guerra on the hill. Play Milwaukee. |
07-08-18 | Rays -141 v. Mets | 9-0 | Win | 100 | 3 h 50 m | Show
Tampa Bay has just got back to .500 at 44-44 with their win on Saturday over the Mets, 3-0. The Rays will try and stay there today with Nathan Eovaldi on the hill. Eovaldi has a 3.92 ERA this season in his seven starts and has pitched very well of late. Eovaldi has allowed just two runs over his last 12 innings. The Mets dropped to just 35-50 on the season with their loss last night to the Rays. The Mets are calling up Chris Flexen to start today. The Mets have a doubleheader on Monday and needed the fifth starter. Flexen has just a 4.48 ERA in his 67 innings at Triple-A Las Vegas. Flexen hasn't show much in the minors or in relief for the Mets this year. Take the Rays. |
07-07-18 | Cardinals -124 v. Giants | 3-2 | Win | 100 | 5 h 11 m | Show
These clubs have split the first two of their series with the Cardinals winning on Thursday and the Giants last night, 3-2. The Cardinals send Carlos Martinez to the hill today. Martinez is 5-4 with a 3.20 ERA. Martinez has allowed just four runs over his last two starts (12 innings) with three walks and 15 KO's. The Giants are in fourth place in the NL West at 46-44. They snapped a four-game losing streak with last night's win. Jeff Samardzija returns from the DL today. Samardzija hasn't pitched since May 29th when he went just one inning. Samardzija is 1-4 on the season with a 6.56 ERA. Not sure what form Samardzija will be in after a long layoff. I'm taking the Cardinals here today until I know how Samardzija works out. |
07-07-18 | Phillies +117 v. Pirates | 3-2 | Win | 117 | 5 h 11 m | Show
The Phillies bring a five game win streak into today's contest with their Western PA rivals. The Phils trounced the Bucs yesterday, 17-5. Jake Arrieta starts tonight for Philly. Arrieta is only 5-6 on the season, but has a nice 3.54 ERA and 1.270 WHIP. Arrieta has been solid, allowing three runs or less in each of his last three starts. The Pirates have a four game losing streak. They turn to Jameson Taillon today. Taillon is 5-6 with a 4.05 ERA. Philly just playing better ball at this stage of the season. Take Philadelphia |
07-07-18 | Reds +136 v. Cubs | 7-8 | Loss | -100 | 3 h 25 m | Show
Reds have won two straight including last night's opener with the Cubs, 3-2. Today Matt Harvey will toe the rubber. Harvey is just 4-5 on the season with a 4.46 ERA. However, he's pitched well of late, allowing no runs in his last start and just three runs over his last three starts (18 2/3 innings). The Cubs will counter with Tyler Chatwood. Chatwood is 3-5 with a 4.42 ERA. Unlike Harvey, Chatwood is coming off his worst start of the season, allowing seven runs over five innings to the Twins. Both these pitchers have similar stats with Harvey the better of late. No reason the Cubs should be such a big favorite here. Take the Reds. |
07-06-18 | A's +175 v. Indians | 4-10 | Loss | -100 | 6 h 59 m | Show
The surging Oakland A's are now 48-39 on the season thanks to a run where they are 14-3 in their last 17 games. Which begs the question, how are the A's who are one of the hottest teams in baseball such a big dog tonight? They have Paul Blackburn on the hill who is only 2-2 this year with a 6.47 ERA. However, Blackburn is coming off one of his best starts last time out against who? Yep, these Indians. He allowed the tribe just three hits and no runs over 6 2/3 innings. The Indians will counter with Carlos Carrasco who is 8-5 in his 15 starts with a 4.24 ERA. However, Carrasco hasn't started since mid-June due to injury. He wasn't all that consistent either in his previous starts. So again, my question is why are the A's such a big dog. Really, there is no reason. I'm taking the A's here who can easily win this contest. |
07-06-18 | Rays +147 v. Mets | 1-5 | Loss | -100 | 6 h 59 m | Show
The Rays have been a giant killer this year. AT 43-43 they sure get some huge dog prices and tonight is no different. The last eight times the Rays have been installed as the underdog, they are an amazing 7-1 and the profits just have been rolling in. Tonight, I'm taking the Rays again with Ryan Stanek on the hill. Stanek may only have a 0-1 record in his nine starts, but the Rays have won two of his last three starts as big dogs. The Mets are just 34-49 on the season and while they have their ace on the hill tonight, that's never a given with this club. Jacob Degrom is having a nice year, at 5-4 you would think his stats are mediocre too, but not. He has an outstanding 1.84 ERA and hasn't allowed over three runs in any of his last 13 starts. So how does he have just five wins? Poor support. In his last 10 starts the Mets have garnered more than three runs of support just one time. Take the Rays tonight and enjoy your dog winner. |
07-05-18 | Cardinals v. Giants -129 | 11-2 | Loss | -129 | 9 h 55 m | Show
The Giants had been riding a nice 9-2 run before they hit the Mile High City. The Rockies swept the Giants, outscoring them 14-3. The Giants return home tonight from their six game road trip to face the Cardinals. Johnny Cueto returns to the hill tonight after making his last start on April 28. Cueto is a huge return to this team after he was 3-0 to start the season with a 0.84 ERA and 0.688 WHIP. The Cardinals took two of three in their series with the Diamondbacks but are still just 2-5 in their last seven games. Their West Coast trip continues tonight at San Francisco. The Red Birds will start Luke Weaver who is 4-7 in his 17 starts with a 5.36 ERA and 1.461 WHIP. Weaver has walked eight batters in his last 15 2/3 innings. If Cueto is even close to his previous form, the Giants are a great play tonight. Take San Francisco. |
07-04-18 | Angels v. Mariners -105 | 7-4 | Loss | -105 | 6 h 40 m | Show
The Seattle Mariners win streak continues, now up to eight games after their 4-1 win over the Angels on Tuesday. The M's jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the 1st inning and never looked back. Mike Leake will try and extend the streak to nine tonight. Leake is 8-4 in his 17 starts with a 4.01 ERA and 1.208 WHIP. Leak has had seven excellent starts in his last eight games. His only blemish was a five run performance to the Red Sox on Jun 17th. The Angels have lost two straight and eight of the last 10 games. The Halos will turn to Jamie Barria tonight. Barria is 5-4 in 11 starts with a 3.40 ERA and 1.204 WHIP. The Mariners have been red- hot and they have an excellent closer in Diaz. Take the Mariners! |
07-03-18 | Angels v. Mariners -109 | Top | 1-4 | Win | 100 | 8 h 20 m | Show |
The LA Angels try to get back into the race today after dropping to 43-42 on the season. The Angels send Andrew Heaney to the hill. Heaney is 4-5 with a 3.95 ERA and 1.207 WHIP. Heany is coming onff one of his worst starts, alloing six runs over just 3 1/3 innings to the Red Sox. Seattle continues to cruise along, winning seven in a row by sweeping the Royals and the Orioles. Tonight they send Wade Leblanc to the hill. Leblanc is 3-0 in his 11 starts with a 3.09 ERA and 1.166 WHIP. Leblanc has just one bad start in his last 11, that coming at Boston on June 22 where he allowed six runs over 4 2/3 innings. I like the Mariners as they continue to play great baseball. Play Seattle. |
07-03-18 | Orioles v. Phillies -144 | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 7 h 40 m | Show
The Orioles snapped their seven game losing streak last night with a win over the Angels, 8-2. The O's are still buried in last place in what is the toughest division in baseball, the AL East. Alex Cobb gets the start this eveing with a 2-9 record and 6.75 ERA. Cobb has not pitched well, allowing 20 runs over his last four starts (22 2/3 innings). Meanwhile, the Phillies have won two straight and four of five. The Phils send Zach Eflin to the hill today with a 6-2 record in his 10 starts. Eflin has a nifty 3.02 ERA and has not allowed over two runs in any of his last four starts. Eflin pitching great and the O's just not a good team this year. Play Philadelphia. |
07-03-18 | Red Sox +101 v. Nationals | 11-4 | Win | 101 | 4 h 14 m | Show
Two of the best teams in baseball reside in the AL East this year and that's Boston and the NY Yankees. Sad thing is, one will have to settle for a Wild Card. The Red Sox hope it won't be them and today they will send Brian Johnson to hill. Johnson has just two starts, but both have been good. Johnson allowed one run over four innings to the Angels and then one run over six innings to the Marlins. The Nationals have lost three straight and eight of their last 10 games. They will try to get out of their slump with Tanner Roark on the hill. Roark has a 3-8 record in his 16 starts with a 3.94 ERA. Walks have been an issue for Roark, with seven free passes in his last 10 1/3 innings. I like the Sox tonight with Johnson on the hill. Play Boston. |
07-03-18 | Twins v. Brewers -129 | 0-2 | Win | 100 | 2 h 19 m | Show
The Minnesota Twins look to snap a four-game losing streak when they play the second of their series tonight with the Brewers. The Twins lost the opener last night 5-6. Jake Odorizzi starts tonight for the Twins. Odorizzi is 3-5 in his 17 starts with a 4.62 ERA and 1.436 WHIP. Walks have been a issue for Odorizzi with 12 free passes in his last four starts. The Brewers will counter with Junior Guerra tonight. Guerra is 4-5 with a 3.05 ERA and 1.198 WHIP. I like this IL matchup in favor of the home club here. Play Milwaukee. |
07-01-18 | Braves -109 v. Cardinals | 6-5 | Win | 100 | 3 h 57 m | Show
Atlanta goes for the sweep today in their series with the Cardinals. The Braves have scored 16 runs to the Cardinals 5 runs thus far. Mike Foltynewicz starts today for the Braves. Foltynewicz is 5-4, but has pitched much better than his record. Foltynewicz has a 2.14 ERA and has not allowed more than two runs in any of his last eight starts. In fact, in those eight starts he allowed two runs just one time. The Cardinals have lost three straight games and scored just six runs during that stretch. Today they start John Gant. Gant is 1-2 in his four starts with a 4.09 ERA and 1.091 WHIP. The way Foltynewicz is pitching, I don't see the Cardinals getting much off him. I'll take Atlanta. |
06-30-18 | Giants +111 v. Diamondbacks | 7-0 | Win | 111 | 11 h 53 m | Show
The Giants and D'backs opened a three game series last night with the Giants winning 2-1. That makes the Giants 5-1 in their last six and 8-2 in their last 10 games. Derek Rodriguez starts today for the Giants with a 2-1 record in his five starts. Rodriquez has a 3.95 ERA with a 1.280 WHIP and is coming off a seven inning, four hit, one run performance. Arizona lost for just the second time in their last nine games. The D'backs have allowed just three runs over their last three games. Shelby Miller toes the rubber today for the D'backs, making just his second start of the season. His first wasn't all that good, allowing five runs over just 3 2/3 innings to the Marlins. Both teams have been playing well, but I give the nod here today to the visitor. Take San Francisco. |
06-30-18 | Red Sox -135 v. Yankees | 11-0 | Win | 100 | 8 h 58 m | Show
The Red Sox and Yankees continue their storied rivalry here today on Saturday. The Sox lost the opener last night, 1-8. Today they turn to Chris Sale who is 7-4 with a 2.56 ERA and 0.927 WHIP. Sale has been excellent of late, allowing just four runs over his four starts (28 innings). He's also walked just seven and struck out 43. The Yankees will start Sonny Gray who is 5-5 with a 4.93 ERA and 1.444 WHIP. Gray has allowed 10 runs over the last 16 2/3 innings. Red Sox have a very good Sale on the hill today and that's all I need to play Boston. |
06-29-18 | Braves v. Cardinals -146 | 5-1 | Loss | -146 | 8 h 1 m | Show
Two clubs having very good seasons matchup here tonight as the 45-34 Braves take on the 42-37 Cardinals. Atlanta has slumped a bit of late, losing two straight games and five of the last seven. They will send Julio Teheran to the hill tonight with a 5-5 record in his 15 starts. Teheran has a 4.52 ERA, but is coming off his worst start of the year, allowing seven runs over just 4 2/3 innings. The Cardinals had their four-game win streak snapped on Wednesday by the Indians, 1-5. Miles Mikola has been outstanding for the Red Birds this year, posting a 8-2 record with a 2.69 ERA. He's been even better at home with a 1.68 ERA and 0.869 WHIP. I like Mikolas a lot here tonight, take St Louis. |
06-29-18 | White Sox +135 v. Rangers | 3-11 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 50 m | Show
White Sox and Rangers begin a three-game set here today in Arlington. The White Sox just took two of three from the Twins. However, Chicago is still 24 games under the break even mark at 28-52. Dylan Covey has been a pleasant surprise for the Sox, posting a 3-2 record in eight starts with a 2.84 ERA and 1.399 WHIP. The Rangers took two of their from visiting San Diego in IL action. The Rangers will send Yovani Gallardo to the hill. Gallardo is 1-0 with a 7.84 ERA in his two starts. In fact, he's allowed nine runs over 10 1/3 innings with five walks and just seven KO's. Gallardo not pitching near form yet and with that I'll stick with the Sox here tonight. Play Chicago. |
06-29-18 | Astros v. Rays +190 | 2-3 | Win | 190 | 7 h 55 m | Show
The Tampa Bay Rays have improved to 39-41 thanks to a recent 5-1 run. However, they did lose the opener with the Astros on Thursday, 0-1 in a tough loss. Still, this club wins as big dogs, evidenced by their wins over the Nationals (+1.80), Yankees (+1.75), Astros (+2.15)and Yankees (+2.25) all within the last two weeks. So you can get great value with this team as a big dog as they are here today. Wilmer Font is 1-1 in his four starts with a nice 1.69 ERA and 1.063 WHIP. Font has allowed just one run over his last three starts (13 2/3 innings). The Astros start Gerrit Cole who is 9-1 on the season with a 2.56 ERA and 0.899 WHIP. Cole has been hit the last few starts, evidenced by those eight runs he gave up in two starts. This looks like a live dog spot again for these Rays. Take Tampa Bay. |
06-29-18 | Twins v. Cubs -125 | 6-10 | Win | 100 | 5 h 50 m | Show
White Sox and Rangers begin a three-game set here today in Arlington. |

06-27-18 | Indians v. Cardinals -113 | Top | 5-1 | Loss | -113 | 8 h 47 m | Show |
The Cardinals look to extend their win streak to five games tonight with a win over the Indians. The Cardinals have taken the first two in this series with the Tribe, outscoring them by a 15-2 margin. Jack Flaherty starts tonight for the red birds. Flaherty is 3-2 in his 10 starts with a nice 2.50 ERA and 1.006 WHIP. Flaherty has allowed just two total runs over his last three starts (18 1/3 innings). The Indians look to avoid the sweep tonight by starting Shane Beiber. Beiber is 2-0 in his three starts. After a shaky first start where he allowed four runs over 5 2/3 innings, Beiber has allowed just one run over his last 12 2/3 innings. I like the Cardinals to complete the sweep here tonight. Play St Louis. |
06-25-18 | Reds +145 v. Braves | 4-5 | Loss | -100 | 7 h 23 m | Show
The Cincinnati Reds have won seven straight games to improve to 32-45 on the season. The Reds swept the Cubs and the Tigers. Today they start Tyler Mahle who is 6-6 on the season with a 3.89 ERA. Mahle has pitched very well of late, allowing just four total earned runs over his last four starts (22 1/3 innings). The Braves snapped a three game losing streak on Sunday with a win over the Orioles, 7-3. Mike Foltynewicz starts today with a 5-4 record and 2.16 ERA. Foltynewicz has been solid most of the season. The Reds are a +1.40 dog here today and with a 7 game win streak, I look for them to be a very good valued dog in this spot. Play the Reds. |
06-25-18 | Nationals v. Rays -120 | 0-11 | Win | 100 | 6 h 39 m | Show
Washington has not been playing very well of late. The Nationals have lost two of three and seven of their last 10 games. The offense has struggled at times. Gio Gonzalez will start today for the Nats with a 6-4 record, 3.08 ERA and 1.347 WHIP. Gonzalez has struggled in June like the Nationals. Gonzalez has allowed 14 runs in his four June starts over 20 1/3 innings. The Rays have won three straight after sweeping the Yankees. The Rays start Blake Snell today who is 9-4 with a 2.48 ERA and 1.060 WHIP. Snell has allowed one run or no runs in five of his last six starts. Rays playing very good right now and Nats are not. Plus Snell has big edge over Gonzalez. Play the home team, Tampa Bay. |
06-24-18 | Cardinals v. Brewers -134 | 8-2 | Loss | -134 | 3 h 37 m | Show
The Cardinals and Brewers play the Rubber match of their series today with the Brewers holding a 2-1 edge. St Louis took game three on Saturday, 3-2. The Brewers will start Jhoulys Chacin today. Chacin is having a fine season with a 6-2 record in 16 starts with a 3.18 ERA and 1.242 WHIP. Chacin has allowed just one earned run over his last two starts (12 1/3 innings). Meanwhile, the Cardinals have lost three of their last four of their last six. Luke Weaver gets the start today for the Red birds. Weaver is 3-6 in 15 starts with a 4.92 ERA. Weaver has allowed 12 earned runs over his last three starts (15 1/3 innings). I like Milwaukee today with Chacin over Weaver. Play the Brewers. |
06-24-18 | Diamondbacks -105 v. Pirates | 3-0 | Win | 100 | 2 h 3 m | Show
Arizona has won three straight games while Pittsburgh has dropped four in a row. The D'backs can sweep the four game series with the Bucs today, having outscored Pittsburgh 18-6 in the process. Clay Buchholz gets the start for the D'backs with a 1-1 record, 2.14 ERA and 1.040 WHIP. Buchholz has been very good in five of his six starts, allowing two earned runs or less in all six starts. Trevor Williams will start for the Pirates with a 6-4 record, 4.00 ERA and 1.222 WHIP. Williams is coming off his best start in a while, allowing one hit and no runs over seven innings to the Brewers. I still give all the edges in this one to the Diamondbacks. Play Arizona. |
06-23-18 | Blue Jays v. Angels -134 | 4-1 | Loss | -134 | 9 h 19 m | Show
The Angels look to extend their three-game win streak tonight against the Blue Jays. The Angels improved to 41-35 after their recent wins. Jaime Barria will get the start today for the Halos. Barria is 5-3 in his nine starts with a 3.57 ERA. Barria had his worst start of the season last time out, allowing six runs over just four innings. Toronto has lost three of its last four games to drop to 34-41 on the season. They will start Marcus Stroman today who is 0-5 on the season. Stroman hasn't started since May 8th. Stroman has not pitched well, with a 7.71 ERA and a 1.714 WHIP. The Angels should have a big edge here at home over Stroman. Play the home team, play the Angels. |
06-23-18 | Phillies -107 v. Nationals | 5-3 | Win | 100 | 4 h 19 m | Show
Phillies have now won three straight after their blowout win over the Nationals on Friday, 12-2. The Phils will start Aaron Nola today. Nola is 8-2 with a 2.55 ERA and 1.007 WHIP. Washington has been in a slump, winning just two of their last eight games and three of their last 10 games. Erick Fedde will make just his fourth start this year. Fedde is 0-2 with a 5.63 ERA and 1.375 WHIP. Fedde has not allowed under three runs in any of his three starts. I like the Phillies to take game two here today. They have been playing very well and have the better pitcher on the hill. Play Philadelphia. |
06-18-18 | Mets -117 v. Rockies | 12-2 | Win | 100 | 10 h 33 m | Show
The Mets have been a very good under team all season as they are 28-38-2 O/U on the year. A big reason for this is their lackluster offensive output that has accounted for just 3.8 runs per game. The good news is that Ace Jacob Degrom is on the hill today. Degrom is 4-2 in his 14 starts, but has an outstanding 1.55 ERA. In fact, You would have to go back to early April to find that last time Degrom has allowed more than two runs in a game. The Rockies are slumping, losing two straight and eight of their last 10. They will counter today with Tyler Anderson. Anderson is 4-1 with a 4.48 ERA. Anderson has allowed just three runs over his last 14 innings. Don't expect a lot of runs here today with Degrom on the hill. The Mets anemic offense likely won't produce much either. Play the UNDER. |
06-18-18 | White Sox +260 v. Indians | 2-6 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 3 m | Show
The White Sox look to snap a four game losing streak when they visit Cleveland to start a three game series tonight. These teams played just last week and they split their four game series. But what's interesting is that they won one game as a +1.70 dog with tonight's starter, Dylan Covey. Covey is 3-1 on the season with a 1.53 ERA. Covey has allowed two runs or less in each of his six starts this season. The Indians will counter with Trevor Bauer. Bauer is 5-5 on the season with a 2.69 ERA and 1.121 WHIP. Bauer was the loser to Covey the last time these teams met. I'm taking a shot here with Covey again. He's pitched very well and at this price is s live dog. Play the White Sox. |
06-18-18 | Cardinals +100 v. Phillies | 5-6 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 57 m | Show
The Cardinals salvaged the third game of their series with the Cubs, winning on Sunday night, 5-0. They improved to 37-32 on the season as they begin their series with the Phillies. Miles Mikolas has been a pleasant surprise for the Cardinals with his 7-2 record in 13 starts. Mikolas has a nice 2.43 ERA with a 0.961 WHIP. Mikolas has allowed just four total runs over his last three starts (19 innings) with just two walks and 12 KO's. The Phillies took two of three from the Brewers over the weekend, including a shootout on Sunday, 10-9. Nick Pivetta gets the call today. Pivetta is 4-6 with a 4.25 ERA. Pivetta has struggled of late, allowing 10 runs over his last 10 innings and walking four. I like the pitching matchup here as it favors the Cardinals. Play St Louis. |
06-18-18 | Brewers -109 v. Pirates | Top | 0-1 | Loss | -109 | 8 h 59 m | Show |
The Brewers look to snap their 2-game losing streak when they start a new series with the Pirates tonight. Milwaukee couldn't hold a lead in Sunday's game with the Phillies, eventually losing a slug fest 9-10. Jhoulys Chacin starts today for the Brewers. Chacin is 6-1 on the season with a 3.32 ERA. Chacin is coming off a four hit, no run performance against the Cubs. The Pirates dropped Sunday's contest to the Reds, 6-8. The loss snapped a modest 3-game win streak. Trevor Williams will start today with a 5-4 record in 14 starts, 4.38 ERA and 1.297 WHIP. Williams has been giving up some runs of late, allowing at least three runs in each of his last five starts. I'm taking the Brewers today with Chacin on the mound. Play Milwaukee |
06-17-18 | Angels -110 v. A's | 5-6 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 19 m | Show
Angles and A's have split the first two games of this series with the Angles winning Friday and losing Saturday, 4-6. LA will start Andrew Heaney today who is 3-5 with a 3.68 ERA and 1.178 WHIP. Oakland starts Daniel Mengden today with a 6-6 record and 3.90 ERA. Mengden has been hit pretty hard of late, allowing 12 eared runs over his last 8 2/3 innings with seven walks and just four KO's. With the struggles of Mengden of late, I have to side with LA here today. |
06-17-18 | Reds v. Pirates -140 | 8-6 | Loss | -140 | 2 h 48 m | Show
My top play of the day is on the Pirates. Pittsburgh has a three game win streak and looks for the series sweep against the Reds today. The Pirates have been hitting very well of late, scoring nine runs in the two games vs the Reds and 18 runs in the previous series vs Arizona. They will start Joe Musgrove today. Musgrove is 2-1 in his four starts with a 2.16 ERA. The Reds have dropped to 25-45 on the season with their two losses in a row. Anthony Desclafani starts today. Desclafani has just two starts this season, allowing six earned runs over 10 innings. In addition,Desclafani has allowed 16 hits in his 10 innings. Pirates just playing too well and the Reds continue to struggle. Play Pittsburgh. |
06-16-18 | Reds v. Pirates -109 | 2-6 | Win | 100 | 4 h 9 m | Show
The Pirates took game one of this three-game set last night, 3-2. The Pirates will start Ivan Nova today. Nova is 3-5 with a 4.68 ERA. Nova is coming off a nice start, allowing just one run over 5 2/3 innings to the Cubs. The Reds are 25-44 on the season after their loss last night. Luis Castillo gets the start today. Castillo is 4-7 in his 14 starts with a 5.79 ERA and 1.424 WHIP. Castillo has allowed 13 runs over his last three starts (15 2/3 innings) with seven walks. Neither team starting a very good pitcher, but Nova at least has something to build upon. Castillo has been getting hit hard of late. I look for the Pirates to get their runs tonight vs Castillo. Take Pittsburgh. |
06-15-18 | Nationals -125 v. Blue Jays | 5-6 | Loss | -125 | 8 h 42 m | Show
Washington and Toronto open their series here tonight. The Nationals split their two games with the Yankees, dropping the first and winning the second. Gio Gonzalez gets the start today for the Nats. Gonzalez is 6-2 with a nifty 2.58 ERA and 1.263 WHIP. Meanwhile, Toronto has lost three straight games. The Jays got swept at Tampa Bay, getting outscored 13-5 in the process. They will turn to Aaron Sanchez today. Sanchez is 3-5 with a 4.33 ERA. The Nationals are the much better team while this pitching matchup I put a small edge to Washington too. I'm taking the road team here, play Washington. |
06-14-18 | Rays +152 v. Yankees | 3-4 | Loss | -100 | 18 h 53 m | Show
Tampa Bay brings a 3-game win streak into today's series opener with the Yankees. The Rays won on Wednesday over the Blue Jays, 1-0 to improve to 32-35 on the season. Tampa Bay sends Blake Snell to the hill today. Snell has a nice 8-3 record with a 2.30 ERA and 0.984 WHIP on the season. Snell has given up just one earned run over his last four starts (23 2/3 innings). The Yankees lost to the Nationals on Wednesday, 4-5. Domingo German gets the start today. German is 0-3 in his six starts with a 6.00 ERA and 1.181 ERA. The Rays are a 1.50 dog here today with their best pitcher on the mound against the Yankees worst starter. This dog has bite and bark. Play the Rays. |
06-13-18 | Indians v. White Sox +176 | 2-3 | Win | 176 | 9 h 27 m | Show
The Indians has their two-game win streak snapped last night by the White Sox, 1-5. Cleveland and Chicago have split the first two games of their series with both game going UNDER. Cleveland has gone under in six of the last seven games. The Tribe will send Trevor Bauer to the hill with a 5-4 record, 2.62 ERA and 1.151 WHIP. Bauer is coming off a fine outing where he allowed just one run to the Tigers over eight innings for the win. The White Sox are 0-10-1 O/U in their last 11 games. Their pitching has been solid with a bullpen that has allowed just 3.85 ERA. Dylan Covey makes his sixth start of the season tonight. Covey is 2-1 with a 1.27 ERA and 1.235 WHIP this season. Covey has pitched well in all five starts, allowing two runs or less in each contest. Live, big dogs are always gems and that's just what we get at home tonight with the White Sox and Covey. Play Chicago. |
06-13-18 | Rockies v. Phillies -138 | 7-2 | Loss | -138 | 8 h 23 m | Show
Colorado has lost five straight games including their opener with the Phillies last night, 4-5. In addition, the Rockies are just 2-9 in their last 11 games. Tyler Anderson will try and turn around their fortunes tonight. Anderson is 3-1 with a 4.81 ERA and 1.352 WHIp this season. Anderson has had some issues, allowing five earned runs two time in his last four starts. The Phillies has improved to 34-30 with their last two wins. Nick Pivetta will go to the hill tonight with his 4-5 record and 3.76 ERA. Piveta has suffered from run support, getting three runs or less in his last four starts. If Pivetta can get some runs tonight, I like him to win here against a struggling Colorado team. Play the Phillies. |
06-12-18 | Pirates v. Diamondbacks -142 | 8-13 | Win | 100 | 10 h 36 m | Show
Arizona has won four straight games after beating Pittsburgh on Monday, 9-5. The D'backs have improved to 36-29 after nearly falling back to .500. Clay Buchholz will start today with a 1-1 record in his four starts. Buchholz has been very good, not allowing more than two runs in any of his four starts. Buchholz has just a 1.88 ERA and 0.833 WHIP. The Pirates have fallen below .500 to just 32-34 after losing seven of their last nine games. Trevor Williams is 5-3 for the Bucs with a 4.18 ERA and 1.239 ERA. However, Williams has allowed at least four runs in each of his last four starts. I like the D'backs tonight with Buchholz as they playing much better of late. |
06-12-18 | Twins v. Tigers -101 | 6-4 | Loss | -101 | 7 h 5 m | Show
Minnesota has dropped to 28-34 on the season with their recent skid. They did win on Monday over the Tigers, 7-5. Jake Odorizzi starts today for the Twins with a 3-3 reocrd and 4.24 ERA on the season. Odorizzi has allowed 10 earned runs over his last two starts (8 2/3 innings). The Tigers will counter with Blaine Hardy who is 2-1 in his five starts with a 3.81 ERA and 1.235 WHIP. Neither of these teams is outstanding, but the Tigers are at home and they have the better pitcher on the hill. I'm taking Detroit. |
06-12-18 | Red Sox -166 v. Orioles | 6-4 | Win | 100 | 7 h 60 m | Show
The teams had to go extra innings on Monday before anyone scored a run as it was 0-0 after nine. The Red Sox offense has gone South of late, scoring just 10 total runs in their last five games and they have gone under in seven straight. Eduardo Rodriguez is 7-1 for the Sox with a 3.68 ERA and 1.197 WHIP. Rodriguez has not allowed over two runs in any of his last four starts. The Orioles offense has also been anemic, scoring just seven runs in their last four games and over three runs just once in their last seven games. David Hess will try and keep them close tonight with his 2-2 record and 3.07 ERA. Hess has pitched well, allowing two total runs over his last three starts (18 2/3 innings). I don't see many runs scored by either team here tonight. Could be a repeat of last night's contest. Play the UNDER. |
06-09-18 | Indians v. Tigers +154 | 2-4 | Win | 154 | 7 h 11 m | Show
Cleveland brings a three game win streak into today's contest. The Indians won the opener in this series last night, 4-1. Mike Clevinger makes the start for the Indians. Clevinger is 4-2 this yeaer with a 3.36 ERA and 1.223 WHIP. Clevinger is coming off a six inning, four run performance at Minnesota. The Tigers will send Michael Fiers to the mound today. Fiers is 5-3 in his 11 starts with a 4.33 ERA and 1.342 WHIP. Fiers has been very good of late, allowing just three runs over his last two starts (11 2/3 innings). Fiers gives a lot of value to this home dog today. I'm taking Detroit. |
06-09-18 | Cardinals -101 v. Reds | Top | 6-4 | Win | 100 | 5 h 10 m | Show |
The Cardinals have won two straight games including last night's opener with the Reds, 7-6. The red birds have improved to 34-27 on the season. Michael Wacha has been very good for the Cards with a 7-1 record, 2.41 ERA and 1.098 WHIP. In fact, Wacha has allowed one run or less in five of his last six and and seven of his last nine (the other two games he allowed two runs). The Reds are now 20 games below .500 at 22-42. They will send Luis Castillo to the hill today with a 4-6 record, 5.64 ERA and 1.448 WHIP. Castillo has allowed eight runs over his last 9 2/3 innings or work. Big edge in starters here to the Cardinals with a very good Wacha on the hill. This is my top play for today on the Cardinals. |
06-08-18 | Mariners -113 v. Rays | 4-3 | Win | 100 | 6 h 13 m | Show
Seattle has used a 7-3 run to climb into first place in the AL West, one game ahead of the Houston Astros. The M's send Marco Gonzales to the hill tonight with his 6-3 record, 2.97 ERA and 1.290 WHIP. Gonzales has been great of late, allowing no runs over his last three starts (19 1/3 innings). Tampa Bay has now lost seven straight games. The Rays haven't won in June! They will send reliever Wilmer Font to make his first start. Font has pitched well out of the pen with a 1.50 ERA in four games. The Rays have lost all four to the Mariners this year and I don't see that changing here tonight. Play Seattle. |
06-08-18 | Brewers +117 v. Phillies | 12-4 | Win | 117 | 6 h 7 m | Show
The Brewers have dropped three straight games and are now 37-25 on the season. They will look to snap their losing streak tonight with Jhoulys Chacin. Chacin is having a very good season at 4-1 with a 3.39 ERA and 1.275 WHIP. Chacin is coming off a 5 2/3 inning performance over the White Sox where he gave up no runs and three hits. The Phillies have lost two straight and five of their last six games. They have dropped to 32-28 on the season. They will send Vincent Velasquez to the hill. Velasquez is 4-6 on the season with a 3.82 ERA and 1.288 WHIP. Both these pitchers have been very proficient, but the 1st place Brewers are just the better team overall right now. Play Milwaukee. |
06-07-18 | Mariners -108 v. Rays | 5-4 | Win | 100 | 9 h 48 m | Show
Seattle had its five game win streak snapped last night by Houston, 5-7. The M's will look to start a new streak tonight against the Tampa Bay Rays. They will start Mike Leake tonight who is 5-3 this season with a 4.71 ERA and 1.294 WHIP. Leake has put together three outstanding starts, allowing just four runs in the process (21 2/3 innings). The Rays bring a six-game losing streak into tonight's contest. Tampa Bay will turn to Ryan Stanek to stop the streak. Stanek is 0-1 in his two starts. Don't expect much from Stankek as he's a reliever who has not made it past the 2nd inning thus far in his two starts. He's allowed two runs in that short stint with a 6.00 ERA and 0.667 WHIP. It will be the Rays bullpen that decides this one. They are fair with a 3.93 ERA, but have eight blown saves this season. Seattle has been very good and I look for them to begin a new win streak tonight. Play Seattle. |
06-07-18 | Phillies +108 v. Cubs | 3-4 | Loss | -100 | 4 h 58 m | Show
The Phillies and Cubs have split the first two games of their series with Chicago winning last night 7-5. The Phillies will start Nick Pivetta today who is 4-4 in his 12 starts with a 3.48 ERA and 1.145 WHIP. Pivetta has pitched very well of late, not allowing more than three runs in any of his last five starts. The Cubs improved to 34-24 with their win last night. They will turn to Tyler Chatwood today. Chatwood is 3-4 in his 11 starts with a 4.02 ERA and 1.733 WHIP. There is value here with the dog today, something I always look for. The Phillies have just as good starter today and both teams are evenly matched. Take the Phillies. |
06-06-18 | Mariners +180 v. Astros | 5-7 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 23 m | Show
The Mariners win streak is now up to 5-games with their win over Houston last night, 7-1. I had the Mariners as a nice dog last night. Their pitching has been superb during their win streak, allowing one run in four of the five wins and three in the other. Wade Leblanc gets the start tonight. Leblanc is 1-0 with a 1.72 ERA in his six starts and have not allowed over two runs in any of those outings. Houston will turn to Lance McCullers Jr to snap their three-game losing streak. McCullers is 7-3 with a 3.89 ERA. Mariners are big dog here on Wednesday and they have a hot pitcher on the hill. I see lots of value with this dog. Play the Mariners. |
06-06-18 | Phillies +123 v. Cubs | 5-7 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 18 m | Show
The Phillies beat the Cubs in the opener on Tuesday, 6-1. They will turn to Aaron Nola today who is 7-2 in his 12 starts. Nola has a nice 2.18 ERA and 0.932 WHIP. The Cubs will turn to Jose Quintana today. Quintana is 6-4 in his 11 starts with a 4.30 ERA and 1.415 WHIP. Surprisingly, Quintana has been worse at home with a 2-2 record and 6.66 ERA. Phillies are a nice live dog here tonight. They are a good team with a above average starter on the hill. Play the Phillies. |
06-06-18 | A's -110 v. Rangers | 2-8 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 18 m | Show
The Oakland A's lost their opener to the Rangers on Tuesday, 4-7. The A's will turn to Daniel Mengden tonight. Mengden is 6-4 in his 12 starts with a nice 2.91 ERA and 0.969 WHIP. Mengden allowed three runs in his last outing, but before that he went five innings without giving up more than two runs. Texas will counter tonight with ageless Bartolo Colon. Colon is 2-3 in his 10 starts with a 4.40 ERA and 1.060 WHIP. After a nice start to the season, Colon has struggled of late, allowing nine runs over his last 10 innings of work. A's have a big edge here in starters and with the low price I'll take Oakland. |
06-06-18 | Braves -126 v. Padres | 1-3 | Loss | -126 | 4 h 53 m | Show
Early start today for these clubs. The have split their first two games with each team scoring big. The Padres won on Monday, 11-4 and the Braves won on Tuesday, 14-1. Mike Foltynewicz starts today for the Braves. Foltynewicz is 5-3 on the season with a nice 2.22 ERA and 1.159 WHIP. Foltynewicz is coming off a nice win over the Nationals, 4-0 where he allowed just two hits and no runs in a 9-inning complete game. The Padresw ill start Matt Strahm today. Strahm has mainly pitched out of the bullpen, so don't expect more than a few innings from him today. Strahm went two innings in his last start with just two hits and no runs. Braves hold the big edge in starter here and they also have a much more potent lineup. Play the Braves. |
06-05-18 | Mariners +110 v. Astros | 7-1 | Win | 110 | 9 h 16 m | Show
The Mariners bring a four game winning streak into tonight's opener at Houston. The M's will James Paxton who is 4-1 in his 12 starts this season. Paxton tossed that no-hitter back on May 8th and since then has pitched very well, allowing over two runs one time in four starts. In fact, you have to go back to his first start of the season to find that lone loss. While Houston split with Boston, they did lost the last two the series. If there is one Achille's heal on this pitching staff, it's Dallas Keuchel. Keuchel is 3-7 on the season with a 3.65 ERA and 1.230 WHIP. Keuchel has been inconsistent, allowing four runs in two of his last three starts. I like value in dogs and there's value here tonight with the Mariners. Play Seattle. |
06-05-18 | Dodgers -113 v. Pirates | 5-0 | Win | 100 | 9 h 1 m | Show
The Dodgers have won three straight games heading into this series with the Pirates. Ross Stripling has been very good for LA with a 3-1 record in his six starts, a 2.18 ERA and a 1.121 WHIP. Stripling has not allowed over two runs in any of his last five starts. Pittsburgh split their four game series with the Cardinals, winning the first two and losing the last two. Three of the four game set went UNDER. Joe Musgrove gets the start today. Musgrove is 2-0 in his two starts, allowing just one run and 12 hits over his 14 innings. In addition, Musgrove has 12 KO's to just four walks. This is a very good pitching matchup, but I'm taking the visitor here. Take LA. |

06-03-18 | Reds v. Padres -103 | 3-6 | Win | 100 | 6 h 29 m | Show
These teams have split the first two games of the series with the Reds taking game one and the Padres taking yesterday's game, 8-2. The Reds start Louis Castillo today who is 4-5 in his 12 starts. Castillo has a 5.49 ERA and 1.444 WHIP this season. The Padres have won four of their last five games and turn to Tyson Ross today. Ross is 4-3 in his 11 starts with a 3.43 ERA and 1.188 WHIP. Ross has been very consistent of late, allowing over three runs just one time in his last six starts and twice in his last nine starts. The Padres have been hitting much better of late and with Ross on the the hill they have the advantage here today. Play San Diego. |
06-03-18 | Rays -107 v. Mariners | 1-2 | Loss | -107 | 4 h 29 m | Show
Tampa Bay looks to snap a three-game losing streak today at Seattle. The Rays have lost both games to the Mariners, 3-4 and 1-3 on Saturday. The Rays had a nice win streak prior to their losing streak, winning five straight games. Blake Snell gets the start today for the Rays. Snell has been very good with a 7-3 record in 12 starts, a 2.56 ERA and 0.995 WHIP. Snell has not allowed an earned run his last two starts and two runs over his last three. Felix Hernandez starts for the Mariners. Hernandez is 5-4 with a 5.83 ERA and 1.402 WHIP. Hernandez has allowed nine runs in his last two starts (11 innings). Snell is the best the Rays have and I look for him to get a win for Tampa Bay. Play the Rays. |
06-03-18 | Phillies -117 v. Giants | 1-6 | Loss | -117 | 4 h 25 m | Show
The Phillies have lost two straight to the Giants and have actually yet to score in this series, being outscored 4-0 in game one and 2-0 in game two yesterday. Philly will start Jake Arrieta today. Arrieta has been very good of late, going 13 straight innings without allowing a run. In fact, He's allowed just three total runs over his last five starts. The Giants will start Dereck Rodriguez today, who's making his first start of the season. Rodriquez has been on the shelf since getting hit in the leg by a comebacker in his big-league debut. Rodriquez had a 3.40 ERA and 1.19 WHIP at Triple-A. Don't expect the Phillies to get shut out again here today. They have a really hot Arrieta on the hill too. Play the Phillies. |
06-02-18 | Cubs v. Mets -111 | 7-1 | Loss | -111 | 7 h 38 m | Show
The Mets jacob DeGrom has been amazing so far in 2018. 1.52 ERA and a 1.01 WHIP. he has allowed only 2 runs over his last seven starts. And his hard contact rate is incredible. There are a lot of hot pitchers in baseball right now but none is better than DeGrom. The Cubs have taken the first 2 in this series so the pressure is on the Mets to show up with a great effort behind their Ace. Play the Mets
06-02-18 | Nationals -110 v. Braves | 5-3 | Win | 100 | 5 h 17 m | Show
The Braves have taken two straight in this series with the Washington Nationals. The Braves have held the Nats to just two runs in the two games. Brandon McCarthy will try and make it three in a row today. McCarthy is 5-2 in his 11 starts with a 5.02 ERA and 1.588 WHIP. McCarthy allowed nine hits and five runs over 5 1/3 innings in his last start to the Mets. The Nats will turn to Gio Gonzalez today, who is 6-2 on the season with a 1.97 ERA and 1.230 WHIP. Gonzalez has allowed just three runs over his last 20 2/3 innings of work. The Nationals are too good a team to be held down three straight games and especially with Gonzalez on the hill. Play the vistor, take Washington. |
06-01-18 | Pirates v. Cardinals -121 | 4-0 | Loss | -121 | 9 h 26 m | Show
Pirates lost a slugfest with Cardinals on Thursday, 8-10. The Pirates dropped to 29-27 with the loss. Jameson Taillon will start today for the Bucs. Taillon is 2-4 in his 11 starts with a 4.53 ERA and 1.248 WHIP. Taillon has been inconsistent, allowing ine runs over his last 12 1/3 innings of work. The Cardinals improved to 30-24 with their win on Thursday. Miles Mikolas will try and improve to 7-0 tonight. Mikolas has a ERA of 2.58 and WHIp of 0.980 in his six wins. I like the red birds here tonight, especially with Mikolas on the hill. Take St Louis. |
06-01-18 | A's -118 v. Royals | Top | 16-0 | Win | 100 | 9 h 27 m | Show |
The A's finally seemed to snap out of their offensive funk on Thursday with a win over the Rays, 7-3. The win also snapped a three-game losing streak for Oakland. Frankie Montas makes just his second start of the season tonight. Montas is 1-0 with a 1.50 ERA after allowing just one run in his first start. The Royals had Thursday off. KC is just 20-36 on the season. Struggling Ian Kennedy will take to the hill tonight. Kennedy is 1-5 in 11 starts with a 5.15 ERA and 1.543 WHIP. Kennedy has allowed 21 runs in his last four starts (20 2/3 innings). Both teams have struggled, but the A's have a pitcher I can get behind here. Play Oakland. |
06-01-18 | Blue Jays v. Tigers -106 | 2-5 | Win | 100 | 8 h 21 m | Show
Detroit played a day game on Wednesday as they hosted the LA Anelgs. The Tigers were a huge dog and jumped out to a 5-0 1st inning lead an never looked back en route to a 6-2 win. The Tigers turn to Blaine Hardy today. Hardy is 1-0 in his three starts with a 2.76 ERA. So far Hardy has not allowed more than two runs in any of his three starts. The Blue Jays look to snap a three game losing streak tonight. Jaime Garcia will get the start for the Jays. Garcia is 2-3 in his nine starts with a 5.91 ERA and has 1.533 WHIP. The Tigers are a small home dog here tonight and I like the value they have in this spot. Tke the Tigers. |
05-31-18 | Indians -115 v. Twins | 9-8 | Win | 100 | 9 h 17 m | Show
Cleveland looks to extend its winning streak to six games tonight at the expense of the Minnesota Twins. The Indians just swept the Chicago White Sox, outscoring them 25-10 in their three game series. The Tribe will start Shane Bieber for the first time this season. Beiber will be called up from Triple-A Columbus for his first career start in the big leagues. Bieber is 5-1 in the minors this year with a 1.10 ERA and has 61 KO's to just three walks in his 65 1/3 innings of work. The Twins have lost two straight and six of their last seven games. The will send Jake Odorizzi to the hill. Odorizzi is 3-2 in his 11 starts with a 3.34 ERA and 1.281 WHIP. Bieber has been impressive in the minors and throws hard. I'll take a chance on his with the hot Indians. Play Cleveland. |
05-31-18 | Phillies +164 v. Dodgers | 2-1 | Win | 164 | 9 h 43 m | Show
The Phillies look to even their series with the Dodgers at two games a piece tonight after losing on Wednesday, 2-8. The Phillies will send Aaron Nola to the hill. Nola is 6-2 with a 2.27 ERA and a 0.981 WHIP. Nola has pitched very well, allowing one run or less in four of his last five starts. The Dodgers are still three games shy of the .500 mark after their win on Wednesday at 26-29. Clayton Kershaw returns from the DL to make his first start since May 1st. Kershaw has just a 1-4 record, but decent 2.86 ERA and 1.136 WHIP. I'm not sure how sharp Kershaw will be tonight and with a big line on the lefty, I'll take the dog and see if Kershaw is his old self or has some rust. Play Philadelphia. |
05-29-18 | Astros -117 v. Yankees | 5-6 | Loss | -117 | 7 h 16 m | Show
May Game of the Month : On Monday I called this the best pitching in baseball vs the best hitting in baseball. I took the Astros yesterday with Verlander as I believe that great pitching beats great hitting. I was right yesterday. Today, it's Charlie Morton for the Astros. Morton is the best pitcher thus far for Houston with a 7-0 record in his 10 starts, a 2.04 ERA and 0.973 WHIP. Morton just keeps his team in every game. So can it happen again? Can the Astros pitchers keep the Yankees hitters in check? I believe so and I'm backing it with my May Game of the Month here on the Astros. Play Houston. |
05-29-18 | Nationals +107 v. Orioles | 3-2 | Win | 107 | 7 h 15 m | Show
The Nationals look to extend their winning streak to five games tonight at their rival Baltimore Orioles. Jeremy Hellickson is 1-0 this year in his seven starts. Hellickson has pitched very well, with a 2.13 ERA and 0.895 WHIP. In addition, Hellickson has not allowed over one run in any of his last four starts. The Orioles have lost three straight to drop to 17-37. Dylan Bundy will try and halt the losing streak today. Bundy is 3-6 with a 4.45 ERA and 1.245 WHIP. Still, not sure why Baltimore has become a favorite of 1.20 in this contest. The Nationals are the much better team and have the much better starter on the hill. I'll take the road dog here, play Washington. |
05-28-18 | Angels v. Tigers +153 | 3-9 | Win | 153 | 13 h 34 m | Show
Dog Shocker: The LA Angels dropped to 29-24 with their loss on Sunday to the Yankees, 1-3. Now the Angles continue their Eastern swing today at Detroit. Tyler Skaggs takes the hill for the Halos. Skaggs is 3-3 in his 10 starts with four quality outings. Skaggs has a 3.11 ERA and 1.237 WHIP. Still, Skaggs hasn't won a game in his last five starts. The Tigers improved to 23-29 with their win on Sunday over the White Sox, 3-2. Matt Boyd has pitched well for Detroit, but his 2-4 record doesn't reflect this. Boyd has a 3.29 ERA with a 1.077 WHIP and hadn't allowed over three runs in any of his last three starts. I love it when I can find a huge home dog that has what I believe is the better pitcher on the hill. That's just what we get today with Boyd. Take the Tigers. |
05-28-18 | Mets -135 v. Braves | 3-4 | Loss | -135 | 13 h 33 m | Show
Inner Circle (Game 1) : The Mets will try and snap their three game losing streak after dropping three of four to the Brewers. The Mets pitching staff was ripped for 25 runs in the last two games of that Brewers series. Today they will send Jacob Degrom to the hill. Degrom is 4-0 with a nifty 1.54 ERA with a 0.994 WHIP. Degrom has six quality starts in 10 outings and has allowed just one earned run over his last six starts! Atlanta snapped their three game losing streak with a 7-1 win on Sunday to salvage a gaem in their Boston series. The Braves send their 9th pitcher to the hill on Monday in Max Fried. Fried is being brought up from Triple-A to start game one of this double header. Can't back a first timer here against a pitcher like Degrom who hasn't been giving up runs at all. Lay the price with the Mets in game 1. |
05-28-18 | Astros -128 v. Yankees | 5-1 | Win | 100 | 12 h 28 m | Show
This series will be the top ranked pitching of the Houston Astros against the top ranked hitting of the New York Yankees. There isn't a better pitching staff from starters through bullpen then the Houston Astros. They allow just 2.6 runs per game. There isn't a more potent lineup in baseball from top to bottom then the NY Yankees. So today we get the best against the best. Justin Verlander starts with his 6-2 record in 11 starts and 1.08 ERA and 0.710 WHIP. Verlander has 10 quality starts this year and has allowed over one run just one time in his last six starts - and that was two runs. The Yankees will start Domingo German who is 0-1 in his three starts with a 7.36 ERA and 1.227 WHIP. No doubt the Astros have the huge pitching edge here. I believe great pitching beats great hitting and I'll back it up today with the Astros. |
05-28-18 | Nationals -129 v. Orioles | Top | 6-0 | Win | 100 | 12 h 28 m | Show |
Washington improved to 29-22 with their win on Sunday over the Marlins, 5-2. The Nats don't have far to travel as they head to Baltimore to take on the Orioles. Washington will start Gio Gonzalez with his 5-2 record, 2.26 ERA and 1.258 WHIP. Gonzalez has pitched very well of late, allowing just three runs over his last three starts (18 innings). The Orioles are having a season to forget as they dropped to 17-36 with their loss on Sunday to Tampa Bay, 3-8. The O's send reeling Alex Cobb to the hill. Cobb is 1-6 with a lofty 7.32 ERA and 1.932 WHIP. Cobb pretty much reflects the season the O's are having - horrible! This rivalry will go to the much better Nationals. Play Washington. |
05-27-18 | Cardinals +109 v. Pirates | 6-4 | Win | 109 | 3 h 49 m | Show
St Louis snapped their three game losing streak on Saturday with a win over the Pirates, 4-1. The win improved the team to 27-22 on the season. Miles Mikolas has been a surprise for the red birds this year with a 6-0 records in his nine starts. Mikolas has a 2.24 ERA and 0.978 WHIP. Mikolas has allowed just three earned runs over his last four starts (27 2/3 innings). The Pirates dropped to 28-23 with the loss on Saturday. They turn to Jameson Taillon today. Taillon is 2-4 in his 10 starts with a 4.56 ERA and 1.286 WHIP. Taillon is coming off one of his worst starts, allowing six runs over six innings in a loss to the Reds. Big pitching difference today with Mikolas being red-hot and very good. I'm taking the visitor here. Take St Louis. |
05-27-18 | Astros -115 v. Indians | 9-10 | Loss | -115 | 2 h 24 m | Show
The Astros have taken two of the first three in this series with the Cleveland Indians. They dropped Saturday's game 6-8. They can sweep today or split. Gerrit Cole has been one of their best starters this year on a team loaded with pitching talent. Gerrit is 5-1 with a 1.86 ERA and 0.828 WHIP. Cole has been just amazing with nine quality starts in his 10 games. The Indians will counter with Trevor Bauer. Bauer is 4-3 with a 2.35 ERA and 1.154 WHIP. Bauer has been very good too, but the Astros just are the complete package right now and have just too much pitching on their side. I'm taking the Astros. |
05-26-18 | Astros -102 v. Indians | 6-8 | Loss | -102 | 8 h 34 m | Show
The Houston Astros have won five straight games after taking the first two games in this series with the Indians. The Astros pitching staff, one of the best in baseball, has held their last five opponents to two runs or less. Lance McCullers Jr is one of their best, with a 6-2 record in his 10 starts. McCullers has a 3.20 ERA with a 1.136 WHIP. The Indians have now dropped to under .500 with these two losses to the Astros. Carlos Carrasco will toe the rubber for the Tribe. Carrasco is 5-3 with a 3.64 ERA. While Carrasco is very good, I'm not going against the red-hot Astros here with a top pitcher on the hill. Play Houston. |
05-26-18 | Angels +145 v. Yankees | 11-4 | Win | 145 | 7 h 5 m | Show
The Angels dropped game one of this series to the Yankees on Friday, 1-2. They look to even the series with Jamie Barria on the hill. Barria is 3-1 in his five starts with a 2.13 ERA and 1.026 WHIP. Barria has not allowed more than two runs in any of his five starts this season. The Yankees will counter with Sonny Gray. Gray is just 3-3 on the season with a 5.48 ERA and 1.630 WHIP. Gray has had a inconsistent starts this year. The Angels are a live dog today and I'm taking them. Play LA. |
05-26-18 | Braves +117 v. Red Sox | 6-8 | Loss | -100 | 1 h 56 m | Show
The Braves lost game one of this series with the Red Sox on Friday, 2-6. The Braves will look to even the series by sending Sean Newcomb to the hill. Newcomb has had a excellent season with a 5-1 record and 2.39 ERA with a 1.139 WHIP. Newcomb has pitched great of late, allowing just one earned run over his last four starts (25 innings). The Red Sox continue their great season with a 35-16 record. Drew Pomeranz will start today. Pomeranz is just 1-2 for the Sox with a 5.96 ERA and 1.779 WHIP. Pomeranz is one of the only low points for this club this season. Still by virtue of being on this team he's a favorite against a much better pitcher today. I see value in the dog here, play Atlanta. |
05-25-18 | Diamondbacks v. A's -128 | Top | 7-1 | Loss | -128 | 9 h 2 m | Show |
The Arizona Diamondbacks have fallen on hard times. After a fast start to the season, the D'backs have lost seven straight games and now could fall back to .500 with a loss tonight. Part of the issue is an offense that has dropped to just 3.7 runs per games. It won't get any easier tonight against the Athletics in this IL matchup. Pat Corbin has been very good for Arizona with a 4-1 record and a 2.60 ERA. However, the D'backs have lost his last four starts. The A's send Sean Manaea to the hill. Manaea is 5-4 but has a very good 2.71 ERA and a excellent 0.859 WHIP. I like the A's a lot here tonight against a struggling Arizona team. Play Oakland. |
05-24-18 | Red Sox v. Rays +123 | 3-6 | Win | 123 | 8 h 35 m | Show
Boston brings a four game win streak into this evenings contest at Tampa Bay. The Red Sox are now 34-15 on the season. Tampa Bay had clawed their way back to .500 before this 3-game losing streak. The Rays will send Blake Snell to the hill to try and snap the losing streak. Snell is 5-3 with a 3.07 ERA and 1.040 WHIP. Snell has allowed over two earned runs just once in his last eight starts. The Red Sox will counter with Rick Porcello, who is 6-1 on the season with a 3.39 ERA and 1.052 WHIP. Both these pitchers are excellent, but Snell keeps his team in games and that's what I look for in live dogs. Play the home dog here, play Tampa Bay. |
05-23-18 | Rockies +163 v. Dodgers | 0-3 | Loss | -100 | 10 h 4 m | Show
Colorado continues to play well at 26-23 on the season. The Rockies send Kyle Freeland to the hill. Freeland is 4-4 in his nine starts this season. Freeland has been pitching very well of late, allowing just one earned runs over his last 13 innings. In addition, he's allowed three earned runs over his last 20 innings of work. The Dodgers have struggled with both winning and injuries this year. Rich Hill and Clayton Kershaw are both on the shelf as is Hyan-Jin Ryu. SS Corey Seager is out for the season with an elbow injury. Kenta Maeda starts today with a 3-3 record and 3.98 ERS. Maeda rebounded from a five run outing to throw a 2-hitter his last time out with no earned runs. Rockies a big dog here and with Freeland on the hill I think they have some good value. I'll take Colorado. |
05-23-18 | Braves +111 v. Phillies | 0-4 | Loss | -100 | 7 h 24 m | Show
Luis Gorhara makes his first start today for the Braves. Gorhara is only 21-years old and left Spring Training as the top person for the fifth starter. However, Gorhara has been battling groin and ankle injuries. Philly sends Jake Arrieta to the hill today. Arrieta is 3-2 in his eight starts with a 2.82 ERA and 1.142 WHIP. Arrieta has been pitching very well and Gohora has great potential. I like the UNDER here today. |
05-23-18 | Angels -115 v. Blue Jays | 5-4 | Win | 100 | 7 h 58 m | Show
The Angels lost game one of this series with the Jays on Tuesday, 3-5. Today they look to rebound by sending Tyler Skaggs to the hill. Skaggs is 3-3 with a nifty 2.88 ERA and 1.240 WHIP. Skaggs has been very consistent of late, allowing two runs or less in his last five starts. The Jays still struggling to get back to .550 as they sit at 23-25. Aaron Sanchez take the hill tonight. Sanchez is 2=4 in nine starts with a 4.47 ERA and a 1.510 WHIP. Sanchez allowed four earned runs in four innings his last start. I like the Angels tonight with Skaggs on the hill. Play LA. |
05-22-18 | Tigers +145 v. Twins | 0-6 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 11 m | Show
Looking for some value in a dog and the Detroit Tigers came up. The Tigers and Minnesota both have 20 wins this season. The Tigers average 4.3 rpg while the Twins average 4.2 rpg. The Tigers send Matt Boyd to the hill. Boyd is 2-3 in his eight starts. But more important is that Boyd has six quality starts and just a 3.19 ERA with a 1.063 WHIP. Boyd has pitched very well, allowing more than three earned runs just twice in his eight starts. The Twins lost 1B Joe Mauer to the 15-DL a few days ago. That will hurt their already mediocre offense. Lance Lynn has not pitched well for the Twins, posting just a 1-4 mark in eight starts with a 7.47 ERA and 2.035 WHIP. Unlike Boyd, Lynn has just one quality start this season. Twins way too high a favorite here for having Lynn facing Boyd. I see good value with the Tigers. Play Detroit. |
05-22-18 | Angels -105 v. Blue Jays | 3-5 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 8 m | Show
The Angels improved to 26-21 with their win on Monday over the Rays. The win snapped a five game losing streak for the Halos. Today, they send Garrett Richards to the hill. Richards is 4-2 with a 3.47 ERA and 1.221 WHIP. Richards has allowed just three runs over his last 19 innings with 16 KO's vs 2 BB's. The Blue Jays are coming off a four game losing sweep to the Oakland A's. the Jays will try to snap that losing streak tonight with J.A. Happ on the hill. Happ is 5-3 this year with a 4.15 ERA and 1.135 WHIP. I like LA here with a hot Richard on the hill. Play the Angels. |
05-20-18 | Dodgers +128 v. Nationals | 7-2 | Win | 128 | 2 h 57 m | Show
Dodgers have won three straight games, including two straight from the Nationals. Still, the Dodgers clawing their way back to the .500 mark at 19-26. Alex Wood starts today and he's looking for his first win of the season in nine starts. Wood is 0-4 with a 3.35 ERA and 1.059 WHIP. Wood has pitched very well, especially of late where he's allowed just three earned runs over his last 16 innings. He just doesn't have the wins to support his excellent pitching. Washington will send Stephen Strasburg to the hill today. Strasburg is 5-3 in his nine starts with a 3.28 ERA and 1.028 WHIP. Dodgers show some value here as the dog. Wood is pitching very well and should hold his own against the Nats and Strasburg. I'm going to take the Dodgers here as a high valued dog. |
05-20-18 | A's -106 v. Blue Jays | Top | 9-2 | Win | 100 | 2 h 11 m | Show |
Oakland goes for the four-game sweep today over the Toronto Blue Jays. The A's have won the first three of this series by a combined 18-10 margin. Daniel Mengden will start today. Mengden is 3-4 with a 3.76 ERA and 1.172 WHIP. Mengden has pitched very well of late, allowing just four earned runs overhis last 17 2/3 inings with just one BB and 13 KO's. Toronto has dropped below .500 with their three losses to 22-24. The Jays have now lost six of their last seven games. They will look to Joe Biagini today to get back on track. Biagini is 0-2 in his three starts with a 7.98 ERA and 1.840 WHIP. Not a good matchup here for the Jays who send a Biagini to the hill. Oakland playing with lots of confidence and I will take the A's. |
05-19-18 | Rockies -117 v. Giants | 4-9 | Loss | -117 | 5 h 54 m | Show
Colorado looks to take three straight from the Giants today. The Rockies won on Thursday and then last night, 6-1. They have outscored the Giants 11-4 in the series thus far. Today they send Jon Gray to the hill. Gray is 4-5 with a 4.67 ERA and 1.308 WHIP. The Giants look to snap a three-game losing streak today. San Francisco has been outscored 7-17 in that three game stretch. They turn to Chris Stratton today. Stratton is 4-3 in his nine starts with a 4.88 ERA and 1. 396 ERA. I like Colorado here as they are the better offensive team and these two starters are pretty much even. Play Colorado. |
05-19-18 | Phillies +117 v. Cardinals | 7-6 | Win | 117 | 3 h 3 m | Show
St Louis and Philadelphia have split the first two games of their four game series, with the Phils winning on Thursday and St Louis on Friday. The Phillies dropped to 25-17 with their loss last night. They will send Zach Eflin to the hill today. Eflin his 1-0 in his two starts with a 0.71 ERA and 0.789 WHIP. Eflin has given the Phils two quality starts, allowing no earned runs and one earned run in his two games. The Cardinals won on Friday, but are still just 2-4 in their last six games. They will send John Gant to the hill today. Gant has just one start and he gave up four runs in 5 1/3 innings in his first start. The Phillies have a very good pitcher on the mound today and these teams are very evenly matched. I'll take the dog here with the Phillies. |
05-18-18 | Padres v. Pirates -124 | 3-2 | Loss | -124 | 8 h 36 m | Show
The Pirates look to extend their winning streak to four games tonight against the Padres. The Bucs won the opening game of this series on Thursday, 5-4. Pittsburgh has now won eight of their last nine games. They will look to Ivan Nova tonight. Nova is 2-3 with a 5.01 ERA and 1.351 WHIP this season. The Padres dropped to 17-28 on the season with their loss on Thursday. Tyson Ross gets the start tonight. Ross is 2-3 this season with a 3.59 ERA and 1.175 WHIP. Pirates at home are always a good value, especially against a weak West Coast team. I'm takin the Pirates here tonight. |
05-17-18 | Padres v. Pirates -136 | 4-5 | Win | 100 | 5 h 49 m | Show
The Pirates have won two straight and improved to 25-17 on the season. They face the Padres who won on Wednesday at Colorado to improve to 17-27. Eric Lauer (1-2) starts today for the Padres with a 8.27 ERA and 2.143 WHIP. Lauer is coming off a terrible start where he allowed six runs in just 2 1/3 innings. The Bucs have won two straight and seven of their last eight games. They will turn to Chad Kuhl tonight. Kuhl is 4-2 with a 4.17 ERA and 1.245 ERA. Padres have to make the trip East, which is never easy for a West coast team. In addition, the Pirates are playing well and have the better pitcher on the hill tonight. Play the Pirates. |

05-17-18 | Dodgers v. Marlins +133 | 7-0 | Loss | -100 | 2 h 5 m | Show
The Dodgers are in terrible form. Last night down 5-1 to the marlins, they came back to tie the game only to lose it 6-5 late. That makes them losers of six straight and 9 out of 10. Caleb Smith has been decent form and especially at home where his 2.38 era and 1.10 whip show the Marlins should not be catching this big price from the LAD. Play the Marlins today at this great price |
