5* Northern Arizona -1 over Kent State College Insider Best Best BDS.. This is being played on NA's home floor should be enough to do in the traveling unit from MAC. The surprising unit from NA were playing outstanding basketball until they ran into Montana in the Big Sky Conference playoffs. Last time NA handled Sacramento State, but will need a similar marksmanship (55%) to handle the under rated Kent unit. Golden Flashes show with one of the better records in the Midwest outside of the Big-10 Conference with a 23-11 record coming into action. Last time out Kent won because of the all around game of Jim Walker who posted 23 points and 13 rebounds. The NA home unit will have their hands full, but should survive with their rebounding, FT% and more effective. Lumberjacks are 11-2 SU at home and 11-2-3 ATS vs. winning units w/>.600 record...Golden Flashes 2-5 ATS off a SU win.

5* Duke over Utah Love the way the Utes play considering their 26-8 record, but who wouldn't? Still, I'm going right back to the ACC as they have lost just one game in the NCAA bracket focus (UNC). As you know we used Notre Dame as our 5* last night winning easily, UL-Monroe the night before 3-1 run this week. Here Duke does not have the bench depth of Utah, so coach "K" will use a more tempo driven attack to enhance the talents of Okafor (67 FG%) who has been on fire inside. In addition, recall the Blue Devils are 7-1 SU at neutral sites. Utah does hold an edge in points allowed 57.2 vs. 64.8 for Duke...but, again remember the Blue Devils are out of the ACC and carry a 0.0593 RPI vs. the Utes 0.0574...We close with the Blue Devils 7-3 ATS vs. the Pac-12.

Let's face it, UCLA is fortunate to be hear consider the call at the end of the SMU game. The Zags handled this unit fair easily earlier this year, and should do so again! Look for the Zags defense to create stress points in the Bruins attack causing a bad shot selection, which will inevitably accrue scoring runs for the Gonzaga offense...Good Luck

Here we catch 20-12 Evansville vs. 19-13 UL-L in a home game for the Ragin’ Cajuns. No this is not the PERFECT 1964 Evansville team that went undefeated, but a unit that has been solid cash for their backers vs. the Sun Belt games going 6-2 ATS. The visitor must now contend with NBA prospect Shawn Long for ULL who will control the inside game, so it is even more critical for the ACES defense to protect the perimeter. Evansville has advantages on defense and foul shooting (critical on the road), while controlling tempo. This game must stay in the high 60’s or low 70’s. No doubt it will be an inside out war on the floor, I’m banking the advantage in SOS (0.5068 vs. 0.4880) for the ACES in what will be a buzzer job…Good Luck, back with more hoops!

5* Notre Dame+ over Wichita State Play on: 5* Notre Dame+ over Wichita State Granted the Shockers (30-4) have floor edges here tonight! The Shockers play effective defense and can bound better than the Irish. But, can’t help sticking with my tourney dark horse Notre Dame who has won thirty-one games this season. If you think there is some relevance when the almighty “gut feeling” comes twofold, you can look back to yesterday in the CBI and our ULM selection and winner. How can Vermont be favored on the Warhawks home floor bringing lesser RPI and SOS scores? Tonight we find two Indiana schools doing battle with Wichita State garnering more press considering their recent upset of #2 seed Kansas and their ongoing 7 straight wins…”MO” to say the least. No matter the winner of this Indiana based set will have Kentucky on-deck this Saturday…so, with that I mind believe the Irish will bring match up issues for the 3-4 guard offense of the Shockers…In addition, their bravado has props considering they show out of the ACC (0000 losses in the NCAA). Remember ND brings 5 DD scorers and an incredible tenaciousness…There is no doubt that the Shockers have more talent, but this is going to be an offense show. When the Irish score over 80…..they are 18-0 SU. Finally, Shockers 2-6 ATS in non-conference games!

Play on: 5* UL-Monroe (790) over Vermont @ 8:00 Eastern Here we have another competitive battle in the CBI Tournament this evening down in Monroe, Louisiana. Showing is the 20-13 unit out of Vermont going up against ULM who dribbles in with a real nice 23-12 mark. Before tourney action VU was averaging 66.2 points per game vs. ULM’s 64.3. On defense, VU came in a little stronger holding opponents to 57.7 points per game vs. ULM’s 59.7 points per game. One note of interest prior to the CBI Vermont was 6-9 SU on the road, ULM 12-3 SU home. As far as RPI, ULM has improved to a #132 ranking, while Vermont has dropped to #204 on the ESPN watch after the regular season. The key advantage, though, tonight for VU is their 46.7% FG average which ranks #32 nationally. As far as strength of schedule Vermont comes in ranked #243 vs. UL-Monroe at #188. Conference rankings have the American East #29 nationally with an SOS of 0.4560 vs. the Sun Belt with a #20 ranking and a SOS of 0.4751. If Vermont’s continues to falter on the road, and they should considering the shooting background (ULM), look for a huge win by the Warhawks. Don’t forget coming in the Warhawks are a PERFECT 4-0 ATS L4 times out, while VU is 0-7-1 ATS off a SU win. We close with Monroe a super 15-6 ATS in non-conference battles…Good Luck.

5* Eastern Washington+ over Georgetown NCAA SHOCKER OF THE WEEK That's right, I said Eastern Washington is in the NCAA tourney on Thursday showing with a MONSTER 26-8 record out of the Big Sky Conference. For better, the Eagles beat Indiana this season and played well at SMU. Further, Eastern has the leading scorer Tyler Harvey (22.9), and the youngster has put together some amazing games with 5 over 30 point creations. Georgetown is 1-3 SU in their last four opening tries in the NCAA Tournament. Georgetown has some outstanding scorers in their rotation, but the key for EWs defense is trying to stop GT Center Smith who is 6-10 and approximately 350 pounds. If so, EW should pick up a MAJOR WIN in round one of the Tournament. Techs have EW 11-1-1 ATS at neutral sites, while GT is 1-4 ATS in the NCAA.

When the guard play is conscious LSU has the ability to create gaps in the open floor allowing their more athletic unit additional opportunities to generated a higher FG% than their norm. Their inside defensive game will give the Wolfpack problems all game long. In what should be a HUGE REBOUND for LSU back their spread numbers when on foreign boards. Good Luck!

No doubt the Boilers looked horrible early this season, especially losing to North Florida and Gardner-Webb. However, HC Painter did a great job overall as his unit completed the season with a solid 21-12 mark. What Purdue has in abundance vs. the Bearcats is their height, so they should easily win the rebounding wars. If the 'Due cuts down their turnover tendencies they should win this by 8, considering they do play team basketball as per their 14.9 assists per game. Coaching means so much at this time of year, check the Rebs road wins (6-3) in the talented SEC this past season! In addition, Kennedy is one of seven coaches in the SEC to win 20+ games in the last 4-of-5 seasons. This is a wire job and the points are clearly a premium...Good Luck!

No doubt incredible numbers, but they will need to offset their porous defense with improved play tonight, if they expect to take home the cash in front of their home fans. UTEP shows with solid scores of 22-10 SU this year, but they lost out in the second round of the C-USA Tournament. They average 69.3 points game, allowing 63.2 points per. Clearly, MS (0.4732 SOS) brings the scoring advantage to the floor, but the Miners (0.5072 SOS) bring the stronger conference rep. They are hitting almost seven 3Balls a game which might keep them close...We know the Rams are not very happy about being left out of the NCAA, considering they went 22-9 SU with sensational players English and Matthews. I believe the Gaels defense will have match up problems all night falling behind their more athletic opponent. Remember the Gaels are 0-4 ATS vs. A-10, 1-6 ATS L7. The Jaspers have a well rounded unit that has advantages on the foul line and from 3Ball range. Hampton has the edge statistical edge rebounding, but the conference strength differential nullifies. Technically, the Pirates are 12-5 ATS in non-conference, and have covered 8 straight. However, we must side with Manhattan that is on PERFECT streak of 6-0 ATS playing a STRONGER BASIS of units.

10* Harvard over Yale IVY TOP PLAY ALERT 031415 Ivy League Championship Site: University Pennsylvania (Palestra) Play on: 10* Harvard -2 (not higher) over Yale @ 4:00 Eastern Back on February 7th, Harvard escaped the Eli in incredible basketball game winning 52-50. If Harvard is two win this afternoon they will to replicate their first half defensive performance in the aforementioned encounter as Yale was held to 3-22 shooting with only 11 points the end result. No doubt Amaker’s defense did a great job. In the return battle Yale erupted for 62 points limiting the Crimson to just 52, as the Bulldogs lead by thirteen in the second half. However, Harvard to get back in the game at 43-41, but Yale’s Duren killed them down the stretch for a super win. Going into the game the Eli had the stated emotional angle on their side as they were in revenge and Harvard was going through a tough stretch offensively. Yale does bring four seniors to the floor, but our power rating indicators have the Crimson as the more effective overall unit. Key: Harvard’s defense must keep Justin Sears from dominating the game. The Crimson stingy “D” has held the opposition to 58.4 points per game this season. Harvard is 5-1 ATS on neutral sites, Yale 4-0 ATS. The Eli seem, though, to have an issue on Saturday’s going just 1-4 ATS of late, while Harvard shows 14-6 ATS.

However, Davidson offers too many perimeter weapons (as they just did at LaSalle) for the Explorers inconsistent offense to survive put their defense in fouling situations late that will drive up the final differential. Remember the Wildcats (23-6) are the superior unit scoring 79.1 points per game, going against a "tired" LSU zone that will implode. The key advantage tonight for UAB is the home(!) court as it is quite familiar to the Blazers (16-15) who come out of the USA Conference from Birmingham. In their only battle during the regular season the Blazers survived 71-66 against Western Kentucky. Lately in this series the Quakers have taken home cash...4-of-5 ATS with the UNDERDOG being the valued side at 4-1 ATS. 5* LOUISVILLE+ over Virginia @ 7:00 Eastern The critical data here is insuring that our clients have +3, if not, buy a 1/2-point with Louisville. This MOTO is exactly what have use during the College Football season. There are encounters, especially late in the season that seems to be an obvious winner! Not so fast, as Looie has a HUGE REVENGE MOTIVE after losing to the Cavs 52-47 last year. Further, the Virginia plays into a negative system that says to play against a unit off a SU win (3-7 ATS) when playing in their last game with one game in the loss column. In addition, we find the Cardinals in spectacular 10-2 ATS position off a DD loss at home...Mentally, this scenario favors Louisville and we'll go that way on Saturday as a Best Bet...GOOD LUCK.

4* Yale over Harvard IVY LEAGUE UPSET BDS Don't laugh, but one of our contacts who visited the Crimson game last weekend thought they looked expended late in the game, while winning on the road Saturday night. Corbin Miller's 21 off the bench was a major key. Plus Harvard shot 58.7% from the field, an incredible accomplishment and 40% from the arc. They will not accrue the same statistical advantages tonight against the upset minded Eli. In the series first game this season the Crimson survived 52-50...not here as Yale takes down the Harvard machine.

4* Toledo over E. Michigan Any time I went into an EMU (18-12) game it was to go against the school that has to work extra hard for offense, but does bring a creditable defense to the floor. However, the majority of EMU wins have been against bad teams. For example, in their last game against Toledo (19-11) they were CRUSHED 84-60. In this series the chalk is on a MONSTER 20-7 ATS roll. Toledo has won three straight in the series covering -6, -3 and -5. In addition, overall Toledo is more dangerous unit when they fall behind as they shoot 36.9% from the 3Ball range. EMU has a deficit there in comparison of 5%...TOLEDO!

10* Princeton over Cornell This is not only our IVY GAME OF THE MONTH...but, a sure fire REVENGE ANGLE to bank on this Friday evening. Last time out in Ithaca the Big Red smashed the Tigers 68-60 as a 1-1/2 point underdog. In that game, the Tigers garnered a half-time lead only to squander the second-half with a 12-point margin differential. Remember that was a Saturday game and the Tigers were "watching" in the last stanza as the Big Red took control and the win. When Princeton falls behind they have a tendency to depend on the three a little too much. In that loss to Cornell, Brase and Cook killed the Tigers chance shooting a combined 2-14 from the arc. Not to tonight as Princeton kids BLOWOUT the Big Red who are 0-6 to the number in New Jersey.

10* UTAH STATE+ over Wyoming No doubt the Pokes have intimating numbers with a solid 21-8 SU mark, 16-2 SU at home...Against the spread presents a whole different view. Wyoming is 7-16 ATS , 2-8 ATS the last ten games. They have played with stud Nance back in the lineup, but he has yet to approach former numbers. Granted this iencounter is being played at home where Wyoming has been even more tenacious on defense stifling opponents with PA of just 55 per game. And the two recent losses to UNLV and Fresno can be discounted considering the Nance contribution. We do note, UTS has defeated those two easily. UTS carries an 18-10 mark into play, but more important they have been a solid addition to the cash register accruing a 17-9 ATS mark this season, HIGHLY RESPECTED. Further, UTS is 5-0 ATS off a SU win, 6-0 ATS L6 and 16-5 ATS in conference. Wyoming, remember is 2-6 ATS off a SU loss and 1-5 ATS L6 in the MWC. Going back to 1997 Utah State has won 3-of-5 games in the series, and has covered BB games. Finally, with Nance back in front of the home crowd, and this being a REVENGE game for Wyoming, fully expect public money to help secure our UTAH STATE position...Good Luck.

(533) 10* Ole Miss+ over Alabama @ 7:00 Eastern Not afraid to play on the Rebels (17-12) after the LSU debacle, considering the public domain had a disaster with the road unit in Baton Rouge. In this situation, we are going to accrue some line value as the public overnight has pushed ‘Bama up to -2 and higher in some outlets. As history would indicate this is one of the fiercest rivalries in the SEC and nationally in all sports. Both units are coming in off SU losses, each having super ATS marks off a SU loss. Ole Miss, though, has won 3-of-4 SU in the series and a 4-1-1 ATS series streak. In addition, the feisty Rebels show 8-2 ATS in their last ten road encounters. Alabama has a solid mark at home 13-4 this season, but anchor a losing mark of 0-4 ATS L4 vs. >.500 units. No doubt the Crimson will be difficult with coach Mason carrying a strong final home game mark, while bringing a physical defense to the floor holding the opposition to 63.9 points per game. The Crimson Tide offensive effectiveness has been decreased by the loss of two key starters. On the other hand, a key factor tonight will be the foul shooting of Ole Miss who brings a 77.6% mark to the floor. With that being the case our chances of winning SU and covering the current impost with Mississippi has greatly increased…Ole Miss 68 Alabama 65

(833)…4* Princeton+ over Yale @ 7:00 Eastern Critical game for both units trying to finish strong in the Ivies, while the Eli (19-8) still have hopes of catching the Crimson with a game left on the schedule next week against Harvard. Yale has just four games remaining, but has to play Princeton in a same season revenge (73-81) encounter for the Tigers…The Tigers have decent math as they have been involved in no Ivy game this season with a point differential of greater than eight with Princeton as a foe. The Tigers are a scary bunch as they have lineup balance with four players averaging at least nine points per game…They bring a perimeter offense to the floor. Princeton is 5-0 ATS off a SU loss, but has a 1-4 ATS mark L5 vs. the Eli. Yale is averaging almost 69 points per game ranked #3 in the Ivies with FG% of 44.3 and do have the edge in overall talent. But, we must note there will be immense pressure for both since each face a “must win” environment. Finally, the Tigers have allowed 69+ points per game on the road which is a major concern, but with the stakes at hand feel we will see a lower scoring game in the high fifties, low sixties. Good Luck, and don’t forget our SENSATIONAL TRIPLE CROWN PACKAGE goes Saturday on this network!

Feel we will see Milwaukee playing down to the level of the adjusting Sixers, so expect a closer game than the number so indicates...Remember, the Bucks have dropped 4 straight in Vegas, while going 1-5 ATS at home. Philly is 5-0 ATS with one day of rest and 4-0 ATS after losing by 10 or more in their last game. With both units adjusting their rotations...TAKE THE POINTS!

(757) 5* Davidson+ over Rhode Island @ 7:00 Eastern Last time out valued guard Jake Gibbs returned to the lineup with 17 points in just 23 minutes as the Wildcats blew out 8-17 Fordham 76-57. Davidson has now covered 5 straight against the Atlantic-10 in their initial year of competition. Coach McKillop of Davidson has a huge task of going on the road against talented Rhode Island who has the identical season record of Davidson at 19-6. Rhode Island is no slouch vs. conference foes at 5-1 ATS. However, they show 8-17 ATS at home vs. units with a .600+ mark on the road. Fundamentally, the four guard offense of Davidson could force RH into lineup mistakes as the game progresses…Plus, feel the Wildcats sound fundamentals “sharing the basketball” support a huge edge in assists rated #6 nationally vs. #139 for the Rams. The Rhode Island scorers have a tendency to play one-on-one basketball, which will play into open floor opportunities for Davidson on the other end of the floor…DAVIDSON.

On the other hand, the Explorers (14-11) show off a home loss to highly charged Davidson 77-69, a game in which the Wildcats took shooting and rebounding advantages as the keys to an ATS cover. Having seen both games I can tell you LaSalle faced a more difficult opponent, while again the Dukes struggled in their series vs. UMass. Series notes have the Dukes always playing the Explorers tough, but LaSalle has won 4 straight and 3-of-4 ATS in the series. Dr. “G” talked this week about keeping the Dukes Micah Mason who shot 7-of-12 last time out under control. LaSalle does catch a huge break as Duquesne has one of the worst defenses (74.2) in the A-10 as they employ a waving technique against defenses they play off the dribble (cutters)…Look for a huge offensive night by LaSalle and Jordan Price…84-70!

5* TEXAS A&M over LSU Here is a great chance for LSU to garner more positioning points for the NCAA board. However, although the Tigers have looked outstanding of late, feel they are in a CLASSIC LETDOWN set tonight. The home team in the series has covered 6-of-8, while LSU has hurt their backers in College Station with a 1-4 ATS mark on these boards...A&M 75 LSU 69

021615 (720)….5* Creighton+ over Butler…9:15 Eastern Stayed away from Butler and Villanova the other night, but it was a shame the way the Bulldogs lost via a three at the buzzer 68-65 giving the ‘Cats the SU & ATS combination. No matter, the Bulldogs have still won 5-of-6 SU. Creighton who had gone through and up and down season is just 3-10 SU in conference will need a near perfect outing to stop the talented visitor tonight. Going in Butler has a slight edge in series, but struggled in their first encounter this season surviving 64-61. The major deficit between these units is the Creighton defense which is allowing 67+ points per game, really hurting their chances in the talent rich Big East. Still, can’t help but, think Butler will have an emotional downer considering their recent loss to Villanova. Further, the Bulldogs show 1-6-1 ATS on the road after playing three or more consecutive home games.
