05-14-22 | Brewers -129 v. Marlins | 3-9 | Loss | -129 | 14 h 17 m | Show
DMACK'S SATURDAY MLB PLAY OF THE DAY winner is on the Milwaukee Brewers Miami is 2-10 in its L12 and the Fish are 1-5 in Trevor Rodger's six starts. They'll face a Brewer team that's rolling at 17-7 L24 and Milwaukee is 5-0 in Eric Lauer's (3-0, 1.42) five starts. These are clearly two teams headed in opposite directions to get streaking Milwaukee at basically a quarter despite being on the road is as close to as good as it gets. |
05-13-22 | Angels -142 v. A's | 2-0 | Win | 100 | 13 h 41 m | Show
DMACK'S FRIDAY MLB PLAY OF THE DAY is in the Angels (Action, Bullpen game regardless) The A's have won four of five but that was thanks to sweep of Miami. Jeffries has been abysmal on the mound at 0-5 with a 6.66 ERA. Oakland is just 4-9 at home. It's a bullpen game for the Halos who are 15-7 L22, and a gaudy 9-5 on the road. If Trout and Ohtani stay healthy and the excellent pitching stands up .... this could be a big year for the Angels. |
05-11-22 | A's +110 v. Tigers | 9-0 | Win | 110 | 11 h 4 m | Show
DMACK'S WEDNESDAY MLB PLAY OF THE DAY winner is on the Oakland A's The A's are 2-10 L12 and the Tigers 1-7 L8 after these two split a double-header yesterday. Not much to recommend for either but we do know that Oakland does have some offense. Zach Logue makes his second start after allowing two runs in five innings of debut. He'll face a Tigger lineup that snapped a 28 inning scoreless streak yesterday, a run that is now 7 runs scored in 42 innings. It will be a bullpen game for Detroit who is just 6-11 at home. Oakland will not find a better spot then this to get healthy. |
05-09-22 | Phillies v. Mariners -120 | 9-0 | Loss | -120 | 14 h 41 m | Show
DMACK'S MONDAY MLB PLAY OF THE DAY winner is on the Seattle Mariners The Phillies are 4-1 in Suarez starts despite his 5.44 ERA in five starts. The Phils are 3-7 on the road and 2-6 in L8 overall. The Philadelphia pen is not very good. Seattle is 2-10 L12 but primarily all the road. The Mariners are 8-5 at home where they are a handful. Look at Chris Flexen carefully! He's 1-4 with a 3.07 ERA but extremely unlikely as three of his four losses came in games where Seattle was shut out. The M's rate a confident call. |
05-08-22 | Marlins v. Padres -147 | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 5 h 51 m | Show
DMACK'S MLB GAME OF THE WEEK winner is on the San Diego Padres The Padres are 13-5 L18 and ran into a buzzsaw last night in Marlin ace Pablo Lopez. The Friars counter with their top guy in Joe Musgrove today. The big righty is 4-0 with a 2.77 ERA in his last four starts and San Diego is 5-0 this year when he toes the rubber. The Marlins snapped six-game losing streak last night but are up against here. Take San Diego as the MLB Game of the Week. |
05-07-22 | Marlins v. Padres -112 | 8-0 | Loss | -112 | 9 h 58 m | Show
DMACK'S SATURDAY MLB PLAY OF THE DAY winner is on the San Diego Padres Granted that Lopez has been the acre of the Marlins staff, he's never faced the Padres who can swing the bats and are currently on a 13-4 L17 run. We haven't seen the best of Manaea yet but might do so here and the Friars continue to surge. Lay the small number. |
05-03-22 | Yankees v. Blue Jays UNDER 8 | 9-1 | Loss | -115 | 10 h 59 m | Show
DMACK'S TUESDAY MLB PLAY OF THE DAY winner is on the Yankees/Jays UNDER The Bomber won the first game of the series 3-2 last night as the red-hot Yanks have now won 10 straight. Strong pitching matchup here with Jameson Taillon 1-1 with a 3.26 ERA in fours starts that saw the Bronx go 3-1. Manoah is a lights out 4-0 1.44 ERA in his four starts with the Jays. He's 2-0 with a 1.53 ERA in three lifetime starts versus New York. |
05-02-22 | Braves v. Mets -110 | 5-2 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 54 m | Show
DMACK'S MONDAY MLB PLAY OF THE DAY winner is on the NY Mets The Braves are 6-11 in their L17, lost at Texas last night and traveled to face the red-hot Mets who are 13-5 L18, have the most wins in the majors and have just been finding ways to win. Atlanta getting lots of love with Max Fried who has been their best pitcher to this point. Bassit is yet to face the Bravos in his career but is off to a 3-1 start with a 2.25 ERA so playing in Queens obviously agrees with him. Mets keep rolling. |
05-01-22 | Angels -115 v. White Sox | 6-5 | Win | 100 | 6 h 3 m | Show
DMACK'S SUNDAY MLB PLAY OF THE DAY winner is on the Anaheim Angels The Angels are 8-3 L11 and 6-3 L9 on the road in their best start in recent memory. Mike Lorenzon toes the rubber for the Halos who is 2-1 (2.93) in his three starts. Dallas Keuchel has had success against the Angels in the past but he's not an Astro now and his ERA is 13.50 in three starts this year. The Angel top of the order is the difference here. |
04-30-22 | Phillies v. Mets -117 | 4-1 | Loss | -117 | 14 h 4 m | Show
DMACK'S SATURDAY MLB PLAY OF THE DAY winner is on the NY Mets Philly is 2-6 on the road and send a starter to the mound here who is 1-3 with a 4.85 ERA in five starts against the Mets. The Phillies were no-hit against five Met pitchers on Friday. The Mets are the first to 15 wins and 12-4 in their L16 games. New York starter Walker made one start and was hurt after two innings. He's 1-2 versus Philadelphia but ..... rocks a 2.15 ERA in seven career starts against the Phils. 17 cents is a nice price! |
04-29-22 | Yankees -1.5 v. Royals | 12-2 | Win | 100 | 8 h 31 m | Show
DMACK'S FRIDAY MLB PLAY OF THE DAY is Yankees on the Run Line The Yanks have won six straight and Cortes rocks a razor sharp 1.13 ERA in his three starts. The Royals are up against it here at 5-10 L15 and send out a starter with an ERA of 14.14 in three starts. Bombers are 8-1 L9 and 6-1 against the Central and figures to win by multiple runs with the big bats. Run line mitigate possible damage from -190 to about even money. |
04-27-22 | Astros -110 v. Rangers | 4-3 | Win | 100 | 7 h 38 m | Show
DMACK WEDS 3-GAME MLB POWER PACK winner is on the Houston Astros Houston has a big edge in pitching here and traditionally dominates Texas in these Governors Cup series. Texas is just 2-6 at home and their big money off season pickups have gotten off to a slow start. Houston gets back on track here. |
04-27-22 | Marlins -138 v. Nationals | 2-1 | Win | 100 | 6 h 41 m | Show
DMACK WEDS 3-GAME MLB POWER PACK winner is on the Miami Marlins Lopez is 2-0 with a 0.58 ERA in his first three starts and the Marlins have settled into a 4-1 run in the last five. The Nats have lost six straight and send Fedde the mound rocking a 7.53 ERA. Easy call. |
04-27-22 | Padres -165 v. Reds | 8-5 | Win | 100 | 5 h 17 m | Show
DMACK WEDS 3-GAME MLB POWER PACK winner is on the San Diego Padres Javier is 9-3 with a 3.25 ERA in 5-1 MLB games, 19 starts. He's 3-0 with a 2.84 ERA in eight appearances against the Reds, four starts. It's going to be a long year for a 3-16 Reds team that is mired in a 1-12 L13 funk. |
04-25-22 | Mets -140 v. Cardinals | 5-2 | Win | 100 | 16 h 16 m | Show
DMACK'S MLB Play of he Day winner is on the NY Mets (Scherzer) Nice matchup here between two of the top teams in the National League. Max Scherzer is 3-0 with a 2.50 in three starts and is paying immediate dividends on the mound and in the clubhouse. Mets 9-3 L12 and 7-3 on the road. Nothing wrong with cards or Miles Mikolas who is 1-0 with a 1.80 ERA in his three starts. The Mets are hitting on all cylinders and tonight their frontman is their captain and a bulldog. Lay it. |
04-19-22 | Angels v. Astros -147 | 7-2 | Loss | -147 | 8 h 50 m | Show
DMACK'S MLB PLAY OF THE DAY winner is on the Houston Astros Sandoval was ok in his first start but has poor history against Houston, rocking an 0-3 9.77 ledgers against the Astros. Framber Valdez has been lights out in two starts allowing one run in 9 2/3 innings and is 7-3 is 12 appearance (8 starts) LT vs. the Angels. Money here. |
04-18-22 | Phillies v. Rockies +150 | 1-4 | Win | 150 | 10 h 53 m | Show
DMACK'S MLB PLAY OF THE DAY winner is on the Colorado Rockies Very live dog with Colorado here. Aaron Nola is 1-1 with a 6.75 ERA in his first two starts and has been hot hard. Chad Kuhl gave up a run in four inning in first start and should stretch it out some. He's 2-0 with a 2.70 ERA in five appearances against the Phils, three starts. Phils 1-5 L6, 1-3 on the road while Rockies off to 6-3 start. Take the homestanding dog. |
04-15-22 | Braves v. Padres -110 | 5-2 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 9 m | Show
DMACK'S FRIDAY MLB PLAY OF THE DAY winner is on the San Diego Padres Wright was very good in his first start (at home) but has had a history of getting hammered pitching on the road, 2-5 with a 6.69 ERA in eight starts to be exact. The Padres send out top prospect MacKenzie Gore to make his his MLB debut. Braves have lost four of five while the Padres are 5-2 L7 and starting to role. Take the homestanding Friars. |
04-14-22 | Angels -140 v. Rangers | 5-10 | Loss | -140 | 9 h 3 m | Show
DMACK's THURSDAY MLB PLAY OF THE DAY winner is on the Angels (Ohtani) Not much to go on in the first two weeks but we know that Ohtani is 3-0 (2.86) against the Rangers. The Rangers spent a lot of money in the off season but are off to a 1-4 start. Dunning is 1-2 with a 7.71 ERA in three games against the Angels and gave up three runs in five innings in his 2022 opener. Gotta give the Angels the nod here. |
04-13-22 | Mariners v. White Sox UNDER 9 | 4-6 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 59 m | Show
DMACK'S WEDNESDAY MLB PLAY OF THE DAY winner is on Seattle/WSox Under Not much to go on for the first 10-14 days until the teams go through the rotations a couple of time and the starting pitching is set. Ray went a full seven innings giving up just one run in his first start out of the box. Keuchel is not much but for some reason owned the Mariners last year going 2-0 with a 1.29 ERA in three starts. Runs could be tough to come by here and the generous total looks like the correct side. |
04-11-22 | Nationals v. Braves -1.5 | 11-2 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 47 m | Show
DMack's Monday MLB Play of the Day is on the Atlanta Braves run line (Action) The Nats salvaged the final game of a four-game set with the Mets on Sunday but get right back in the cauldron at the World Champion Braves. The Nats have not listed a starter at this writing but the Bravos send out Ynoa is was 1-0 with a 3.20 ERA in six games (four starts) vs. Washington last year. He had a 2.89 in nine home starts last year and we'll ride him here. |
04-07-22 | Brewers -1.5 v. Cubs | 4-5 | Loss | -111 | 12 h 43 m | Show
DMACK'S MLB OPENING DAY MATINEE BIG TICKET winner is on the Brewers Run Line For obvious reasons, writeups will be limited and short until team gets 10 games in or twice through the rotations. Burnes is 1-0 with a 1.59 ERA in seven appearances at Wrigley albeit, just two starts. Hendricks rocked a 5.24 ERA in 15 starts at the Friendly Confines last year but the Blue Bears have been stripped bare and will lack firepower here. |
10-29-21 | Astros v. Braves -106 | 0-2 | Win | 100 | 16 h 28 m | Show
DMACK'S WORLD SERIES GAME III SUPER PLAY winner is on the Atlanta Braves Garcia had a big night in his last start, the clincher, but that just reduced his playoff ERA to 10.00 in three starts. He'll face Ian "Aqualung" Anderson who is 1-0 with a 2.25 ERA in his three starts this year. Anderson will give you six strong and then you turn it over to the superior pen. Anderson hasn't faced Houston but the Bravos have won his last five starts and he's 3-0 with a 1.47 ERA in his L7 playoff starts. Take Atlanta. |
10-21-21 | Braves +132 v. Dodgers | 2-11 | Loss | -100 | 10 h 31 m | Show
MACK ATTACK NLCS GAME OF THE YEAR winner is one the Atlanta Braves The Braves have put themselves in a great spot with a chance to clinch with their best starter vs. a Dodgers team that is forced into another bull pen games with a lineups that has hit in one game of the four in the series. Atlanta is 12-1 in Max Fried's L13 start. Atlanta is 8-2 L10 overall and 5-2 L7 on the road ..... and HITTING! Atlanta was in this spot last year with a 3-1 and coughed up a hair ball. Not this year! Braves in FIVE. |
10-18-21 | Astros +108 v. Red Sox | 3-12 | Loss | -100 | 13 h 40 m | Show
DMACk'S MLB PLAYOFF PLAY OF THE DAY is on the Houston Astros The Astros got ambushed in Game II when the BoSox dropped nine on them in the first two innings. Houston is still hitting and pitcher Jose Urquidy is 1-1 with a 2.81 ERA in eight playoff starts. Eduardo Rodriguez has carried Boston in the regular season but has had no success in October rocking a 7.03 playoff ERA. Add to the mix ERod's 1-3, 8.53, cdredentials in 10 LT starts vs. the Astros and that makes this an easy call. |
10-17-21 | Dodgers v. Braves +161 | 4-5 | Win | 161 | 18 h 28 m | Show
DMACK'S MLB PLAYOFF PLAY OF THE DAY winner is on the Atlanta Braves Don't underestimate the Atlanta Braves who are fresh, have decent pitching, and are playing with house money since losing their best player, Ronald Alcuna to an injury July 10th. Now they're up 1-0 in the series and send the oft-forgotten Ian Anderson to the mound. All Anderson has done is go 3-0 with a 1.50 ERA in his last three starts and 3-0 with a 0.76 ERA in five playoff starts the last two years. Max Scherzer closed things out against the Giants but he's been hit hard (5.40) his last four starts and no lock to handcuff the Braves. If you can find a more "LIVE" +160 home dog in a playoff game, please show me who it is. |
10-16-21 | Red Sox +118 v. Astros | 9-5 | Win | 118 | 12 h 51 m | Show
DMACK'S MLB PLAYOFF PLAY OF THE DAY is on the Boston Red Sox If there is one person who can right the BoSox ship after last night's horrific crushing loss, it's the unflappable Nathan Evoldi and his bionic arm. Evoldi is 2-0 with a 1.65 ERA in his L3 starts and is a LT 3-1 with a 1.93 ERA in eight starts. The Red Sox went 1-9 with runners in scoring position last night and have still scored 29 runs in its last four games. This is a must win for the Red Sox and they get it done, likely in a big way. |
10-15-21 | Red Sox v. Astros -133 | 4-5 | Win | 100 | 11 h 35 m | Show
DMACK'S MLB PLAYOFF PLAY OF THE DAY is on the Houston Astros Chris Sale was actually quite good after returning in the second half from Tommy John surgery. His playoff numbers are skewed by his bad start against the Rays but still couldn'tconsider backing him here against the raging Astros. Say waht you want about Houston but they are a professional bunch that has been in the playoffs five straight years. The beat a pretty good White Sox lineup with little trouble scoring 31 runs in four games. They're 7-3 in their L19 and 7-2 at home. Framber Valdez was 2-1 with a 1.59 ERA in three starts against the BoSox and should pitch well enough to get the home team off to a fast start in Game One of the ALCS series. |
10-14-21 | Dodgers v. Giants -101 | 2-1 | Loss | -101 | 31 h 29 m | Show
DMack's Dodgers/Giants Win or Go Home winner is the Giants Both teams are now sitting at 109 wins and somebody goes home tonight. Can't take anything away from either starter but backing the homestanding Giants here with Logan Webb. He put the Dodgers light's out in Game One and he's just been nails all year. Urias has done the same for Los Angeles and was a big part of last year's championship. The Giants just ever give it. Take San Francisco. |
10-11-21 | Brewers v. Braves -110 | 0-3 | Win | 100 | 2 h 22 m | Show
DMACK'S MLB PLAYOFF PLAY OF THE DAY winner is on the Atlanta Braves The Brewers are 19-8 in games started by Freddy Peralta this year but Peralta tailed off in the second half and Milwaukee is struggling at the plate, especially with runners (0-8) in scoring position. Ian Anderson had some success in the playoffs last year (2-0, 0.96) and figures to have success against the Brew Crew who he shut down on a run in six innings the only time he face then this year. Take Atlanta. |
10-10-21 | Rays v. Red Sox UNDER 8.5 | Top | 4-6 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 40 m | Show |
DMACk"S MLB PLAYOFF PLAY OF THE DAY is on the UNDER Thought about pulling the trigger on the BoSox until taking a closer look at this VERY generous total. You absolutely couldn't find two pitchers in better form and that have had success against the other. Drew Rasmussen is 3-0 with a 1.93 ERA over his last 10 starts. He's 1-0 with a 2.08 ERA in three starts against Boston this year. You saw Nathan Evoldi handle the Yankees with ease and he's a journeyman that that lives for the post season where he's 3-1 with 1.63 ERA in seven limited starts. Key game of the series and runs witll be tough to come by. Play the UNDER. |
10-09-21 | Braves v. Brewers UNDER 7.5 | 3-0 | Win | 100 | 14 h 16 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the Braves/Brewers Under Runs will be hard to come by here just like they were in Game One. Max Fried has been lights out 3-0, 0.78 in his L3 starts Brandon Woodruff had a tough second half for the Brewers but he's come up big (2.57) in six career playoff games and he's also 1-1 with a 2.70 ERA in three games against the Braves this year. It may not be 2-1 like last night but 3-2, 4-2, 3-1 is definitely a possibility. Play the Under. |
10-08-21 | Dodgers v. Giants +109 | 0-4 | Win | 109 | 22 h 47 m | Show
DMACK'S FRI MLB PLAYOFF PLAY OF THE DAY is on the San Francisco Giants The series features the two best teams in baseball and is almost even in several respects. The Dodgers have won eight straight and Walker Beuhler has found his long last form in his last two starts after a long late summer. The Giants held off the Dodgers the entire season with all kings of chances to fold ... they didn't and won 107 games. Logan Webb is 3-0 with a 4.31 ERA in his last six starts, not near as impressive as Beuhler's last two but San Fran is a mind boggling 18-2 in his L20 starts meaning he'll always give you a chance to win. The Giants have found a way all year and will find a way here to go up 1-0 in this series. |
10-07-21 | White Sox v. Astros -130 | 1-6 | Win | 100 | 5 h 45 m | Show
DMACK'S MLB PLAY OF THE DAY WINNER is the Houston Astros Lance Lynn started the season with serious Cy Young aspirations but much like his team, sputtered out with a basically .500 second half. The White Sox were good early but basically ran through their division early to get to this point. You might also be able to say the same thing about the Astros who basically cruised in the AL West but this team is a proven commodity in the playoffs. McCullers is 3-1 with a 2.83 ERA in his L6 starts and and 4-1 with a 2.17 ERA vs. the Pale Hose in six starts. Edge to the Astros in Game One. |
10-05-21 | Yankees -120 v. Red Sox | 2-6 | Loss | -120 | 7 h 4 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the NY Yankees One and done here and the Red Sox will be without slugger J.D. Martinez. Plain and simple, Gerrit Cole has not had it the last month. He's paid to be the stopper, the Ace, the guy that gets the money in games like these. He's 8-4 with a 2.68 ERA in 13 post season starts and figures to be dialed in for a top effort. Nothing wrong with Nathan Evoldi but he's a journeyman at best that gives you what he's got. BoSox has overachieved this year to get to this point. Yanks adavnec to face the Rays. |
10-03-21 | Mets v. Braves -135 | 0-5 | Win | 100 | 7 h 9 m | Show
DMACK'S MLB PLAY OF THE DAY is on the Atlanta Braves The Mets are 7-15 in their L22 games and just 1-8 in their L9 road games. They've mailed it in. The Braves send Charlie Morton to the mound and he's 2-1 with a 2.63 ERA over his L6 starts. He's 2-0 with a 2.61 ERA in four starts against the Mets. Morton is scheduled to pitch Game One of the playoffs on Friday so this will likely be a tightner but the Bravo pen has been good for a while and should carry them through here. Take the Braves. |
10-01-21 | Phillies v. Marlins -121 | 5-0 | Loss | -121 | 13 h 33 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the Miami Marlins The Phillies have lost four straight and were eliminated from the playoffs last night. Can't imagine that this team is looking forward to this series but instead will be making vacation plans, T-times, and thinking about what t say at their exit interviews. Miami hasn't been much but has played hard down the stretch. Like Alcantara who like early Gerrit Cole, is a good young pitcher with real good stuff ..... saddled on a so so team. Remember the Marlins made the playoff last year, and were hit with many key injuries this year. Take Miami. |
09-30-21 | Phillies v. Braves -142 | 3-5 | Win | 100 | 13 h 38 m | Show
MACK ATTACK MLB PLAY OF THE DAY is on the Atlanta Braves The Braves have a 4.5 game lead with basically five to play and can clinch the NL East with a win here. The Phillies are operating on fumes and throw Kyle Gibson and his 7.16 ERA L3 to keep any hope alive. The Bravos counter with Ian "Aqualung" Anderson who is 3-0 with a 3.46 ERA in his L5 starts. He's 0-0 with a 3.09 ERA in four starts against Philly this year. Atlanta is 9-2 L11 and in a perfect spot to get people healthy, get the starters some rest, get the reserves some playing time. and set their pitching for a run. Atlanta gets it done here and punches a ticket to the playoffs. |
09-29-21 | Yankees -111 v. Blue Jays | 5-6 | Loss | -111 | 15 h 39 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the NY Yankees The Yankees gave Gerrit Cole 325+ million to be their ACE for the next decade. He hasn't had much chance to this point but when he's had a chance to pitch big games, he's generally come up with the goods. This is in fact a big game with the Bombers closing in a wildcard and finding best at just the right time with current 12-4 run putting the Bronx two games ahead of Boston and Seattle and three up on the Jays who they beat 7-2 last night. Next week, all slates are clean and expecting the Yanks to make a run in the AL with big bats in the middle of the lineup now all producing at the same time. Yanks get a confident call. |
09-28-21 | Brewers v. Cardinals +108 | 2-6 | Win | 108 | 12 h 19 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the St Louis Cardinals St Louis has not officially clinched a playoff spot yet but barring the Reds winning it out and the Red Birds losing out, it's pretty much a done deal. Milwaukee has won three straight but Brandon Woodruff (who was a first half Cy Young hype) is 0-3 with a 4.33 ERA in his L3 starts and may have hit the wall. Adam Wainwright has been reborn at 40 and is 5-0 with a 2.32 ERA in his L7 starts, St Louis is 17-3 the L20 times he's taken the ball. Milwaukee can't improve it's positioning so there's little to do but rest and get their pitching in order. St Louis still officially needs to seal the deal. Cards have won 16 straight now and we know it won't go on forever but .... urgency, hot hand, dominant starter, and +108 number is impossible to ignore. |
09-27-21 | A's v. Mariners -106 | 4-13 | Win | 100 | 19 h 4 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the Seattle Mariners Oakland has won five straight road games but that run is likely to come to an end tonight at Safeco Park. Cole Irvin toe's the rubber for the A's and has not fooled anyone with his 6.84 ERA over his L5 starts. Seattle is finishing out a nice season that they can build on. 18-9 L27, Seattle is still playing hard and Chris Flexen is 2-0 with a 1.42 ERA in his last couple. The M's are 20-9 in his starts this year. This is just about a pick so give me homestanding Seattle here. |
09-26-21 | Giants v. Rockies UNDER 11.5 | 6-2 | Win | 100 | 7 h 12 m | Show
DMACK'S MLB TOTAL OF THE WEEK is on the Giants/Rockies Under The Giants are still holding tough in their dogfight with the Dodgers as we wind down to the final week of the season. Gausman was getting some Cy Young run earlier in the year and San Fran is 21-10 in his starts. He's 2-1 with a 4.21 ERA in his L6 but we're more interested in the Rockies Antonio Senzatela here. He's 2-0 with a 2.80 ERA in his L7 starts and 5-1 in his L6 against the Giants. This game will have a playoff flavor abut it and the Rockies are far more dependable at mile high. Runs figure to be tough to come by with the starters and if the pens don't implode, this could be a 4-3, 5-2, 6-3 type of game ..... well under the number we have to work with here. |
09-25-21 | Giants -140 v. Rockies | 7-2 | Win | 100 | 12 h 10 m | Show
DMACK'S MLB PLAY OF THE DAY is on the San Francisco Giants The Giants won their 100th game last night but still have just a one-game lead over the Dodgers in the NL West. Winning the division is absolutely key to avoid a wildcard game, most likely with the white-hot Cardinals. Anthony Desclafani has been money and the Giants are 19-10 in his starts. Desclafani is 3-0 with a 1.95 ERA in four starts vs. the Rockies this year. San Fran 16-5 L21 and have given in yet. San Francisco gets the call here to keep the pressure on. |
09-23-21 | Giants -105 v. Padres | 6-7 | Loss | -105 | 7 h 24 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the San Francisco Giants Last night's Giant win and Dodgers loss left San Francisco with a two game lead with 11 games to play. The Giants continue to roll and are 15-4 in their L19 games. Logan Webb toes the rubber and has been huge all year. He's 5-0 with a 2.36 ERA in his L8 starts and the Giants are 16-1 in his L17 starts. The Giants have won their L8 road games and are determined not to fold to the Dodgers. The Padres are done and bracing for full scale changes in the offseason. Yu Darvish is 1-4 with a 7.62 ERA and basically hasn't gotten an out since the All Star Break. Giants roll can't go on forever but there isn't much reason to think it will end here. |
09-22-21 | Giants -104 v. Padres | 8-6 | Win | 100 | 12 h 28 m | Show
DMACK'S MLB LATE SHOW BAIL OUT winner is on the San Francisco Giants The surprising Giants just continue to roll and have shown a lot of resilience in holding off the Dodgers at this point. Better for San Francisco to continue to avoid a wildcard matchup matchup with the now white hot Cardinals. A bullpen game for San Fran with crusty vet Scott Kazmir reportedly getting the call. The Giants are 14-4 in their L18 and have won seven straight on the road. The Padres are 10-24 in L34 and have imploded internally with the pitching coach and minor league boss the first of a probable house cleaning. Giants get the call. |
09-21-21 | Blue Jays v. Rays UNDER 8.5 | 4-2 | Win | 100 | 10 h 0 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the Jays/Rays Under Runs will be at a premium here to be sure. Alek Manoah is 1-0 with a 1.98 ERA in his L2 starts while his opposite number, Drew Rasmussen for the Rays is 2-0 with a 1.97 ERA in his L8 starts though he rarely goes more than 5-6 innings. All said, this will be played like a playoff series with the Jays a half game out of the top wildcard spot and the Rays looking to lock up home field through the playoffs by locking down the American League's best record. Expect a low scoring one run game either way. |
09-20-21 | Orioles v. Phillies -1.5 | 2-0 | Loss | -100 | 10 h 17 m | Show
DMack's Monday MLB Super Best Bet is on the Phillies Run-Line MLB lines are pretty much out of control at this point but if you are looking for a game to mitigate the damage or maximize the win, this is the perfect spot. Baltimore is a horrific 8-36 in their L44 and 0-8 in games started by John Means (5.63 L7). Ranger Suarez has been razor sharp for the Phils, 1-0 with a 1.55 ERA in L5. The Phils are locked in the battle for a wild card spot in the National League where every win counts. If you think back to the O's recent 18-game losing streak, if you would have bet against Baltimore on the run-line in the first 15 of those games, you would have won 14 times. Phils run-line gets it done. |
09-19-21 | Braves v. Giants -117 | 3-0 | Loss | -117 | 6 h 46 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the San Francisco Giants The Braves are 7-1 in Max Fried's L8 starts but that's about the only positive bullet for the Bravos who are 1-5 L6 and 2-7 in their L9 road games. Fried himself has been saddled with four straight no decisions while rocking a 3.75 ERA. The Giants are in a dogfight with the Dodgers for the best record in baseball and 13-3 L16. Anthony Desclafani is 1-0 with a 2.12 ERA in his L3 and San Francisco is 16-6 in his 22 starts. The Giants just have not given in to the Dodgers and handle the Braves here at a very fair price. |
09-17-21 | Phillies -120 v. Mets | 4-3 | Win | 100 | 9 h 8 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the Philadelphia Phillies The Mets just can't stand prosperity. After their best run of the season, the Metropolitans have lost four of five and on playoff life support. Taijuan Walker has hit the wall after a fast start and is rocking an ERA of 7.00+ over his L5 starts. Zack Wheeler face his old mates in razor sharp form. He's won his L3 starts with a 2.41 ERA and is 2-1 with a 2.15 ERA in four starts vs. the Mets this year. The Phillies pretty much need to run down slumping Atlanta at this point to make the postseason and will need to win every one of these games down the stretch. Take the Phillies. |
09-16-21 | Reds -1.5 v. Pirates | 1-0 | Loss | -101 | 3 h 38 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the Cincinnati Reds on the Run-Line The Reds have put themselves in a tough spot thanks to current 4-12 L16 run. They're still in the hunt for a wildcard but have some work to do and will need help. Tyler Mahle has been pretty good for Cincinnati all year and the Reds are 18-10 in his starts. He's 1-1 with a 3.42 ERA in his L4 starts but more importantly for us is his 2-0 and 2.19 ERA numbers in two starts against Pittsburgh this year. Connor Overton gets the start in what is essentially a bullpen game for the Bucs. He was claimed off waivers from the Jays on September six, has been good in a couple of relief appearance but an unknown quantity at best. The Reds can see their season circling the drain and to stop it, you have to make hay against teams like the Pirates. This is it. |
09-15-21 | Cardinals +160 v. Mets | 11-4 | Win | 160 | 10 h 13 m | Show
DMack's Wednesday Night MLB Dog Bite winner is on the St Louis Cardinals and John Lester Monday we cashed with the Cards and the reborn Adam Wainwright in Game I of this series. Right back with the rejuvenated John Lester. His season numbers are pedestrian at best but he's 1-0 with a 1.90 ERA and has a LT mark of 8-1 with a 3.18 ERA in 11 LT starts against the Mets. Tylor Megill rocks a 6.23 ERA over his L4 which likely won't cut it here. You won't find a better opportunity to grab John Lester and the Cards at +60 cents then here. Cards roll. |
09-15-21 | Rays v. Blue Jays UNDER 9 | Top | 3-6 | Push | 0 | 13 h 1 m | Show |
DMack's MLB Total of the Week is on the Rays and Jays Under We used the Rays/Jay under last night figuring to see nothing but pitching and that what we got is a 2-0 Rays win. Same winning formula here! Michael Wacha is 1-0 with a 2.35 ERA in his L3 starts and has started twice against the Jays and 2.25 ERA in two not decisions. Robbie Ray is in razor sharp form going 3.0 with a 1.86 ERA over his L9 starts. He's faced the Rays four times this year and is 1-1 with a 1.93 ERA. Runs figure to be tough to come by here and that 9 with no juice is still available. Get some. |
09-14-21 | Padres v. Giants -160 | 1-6 | Win | 100 | 12 h 54 m | Show
DMack MLB Triple Play winner is the San Francisco Giants Easy call at a fair number. Jake Arrieta has lost 10 straight start this year with two teams and 0-1 with an 8.64 ERA since joining the Padres. The Giants keep rolling and are 18-9 in Anthony DeSclafani's starts. He's winless (0-1, 3.68) in his L4 starts but perfectly spotted to get back on track here. |
09-14-21 | Cardinals v. Mets UNDER 8 | 7-6 | Loss | -114 | 9 h 16 m | Show
DMack MLB Triple Play winner is the Cards/Mets Under Every year, the Mets have one pitcher that gets no run supports. Historically it's been guys like Ron Darling and recently Jacob deGrom. This year, it's Marcus Stroman who is 9-12 despite seet 2.97 ERA. Out of 108 starters with 20+ starts, Stroman is 104 in run support. The Mets are 8-2-1 under in their L11 and under at Citifield has been close to automatic. Cards are on 5-2-1 under run and markers are going to be tough to coma by here. Play the Under |
09-14-21 | Rays v. Blue Jays UNDER 9 | 2-0 | Win | 100 | 9 h 17 m | Show
DMack MLB Triple Play is the Rays/Jays UNDER The Blue Jays have played themselves into a wildcard game with their recent hot play. The Rays have lost four of five but still have an eight game lead in the AL East. Tonight's matchup features pitching. Drew Rasmussen is basically a spot starter and long relief guy, He's 1-0 with a 2.33 ERA in seven starts but those starts went a combined 27 innings. Berrios has won his last three starts (2.66) and has been great since joining Toronto. Rays not hitting and superior pitching form for both teams has us on the UNDER. |
09-13-21 | Cardinals -105 v. Mets | 7-0 | Win | 100 | 6 h 44 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the St Louis Cardinals Adam Wainwright has been reborn at 40-something and is 8-1 with a razor sharp 2.06 ERA in his L9 starts. The Cards are likely playing out the string but the Red Birds are also 14-3 the L17 times that Wainwright has toed the bump. The Mets are 11-5 L16 and 7-1 L8 at home so no harm there. The Metropolitans are just 3-5 in Hill's last eight so looking for Wainwright to continue to spin his magic here. |
09-12-21 | Nationals v. Pirates +115 | 6-2 | Loss | -100 | 5 h 53 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the Pittsburgh Pirates Both teams are simply playing out the string and have been doing so pretty much since the All Star break. Patrick Corbin has found it tough sledding this summer and is 0-2 with a 9.00 ERA in his L3 starts. The Nats are playing just .280 baseball over their L57 games and are 3-10 L13 on the road. The Pirates are not much better but seem to at least be trying at and are 9-4 L14 at PNC. Bryce Wilson was a high draft pick for the Braves and tagged for better. He came to the Pirates at the trade deadline and has been decent for a very bad team and hasn't reflected in wins. We cashed the Pirates as a home dog yesterday for an extra 20 cents and go right back to the well here. Take the Pirates. |
09-11-21 | Nationals v. Pirates +121 | 7-10 | Win | 121 | 9 h 38 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the Pittsburgh Pirates Both of these teams mailed it in long ago . Washington 16-40 L56, Pittsburgh 15-38 L51. The Nats are also just 3-9 L12 on the road and send Josiah Gray to the mound rocking a 5.66 ERA in his L7 starts. Pittsburgh is 7-4 in their L11 home games, sending Wil Crowe to the bump. He's not much but the Bucs are almost .500 in his starts and the fact that he was drafted by the Nats could provide some extra motivation. |
09-09-21 | Blue Jays v. Yankees -113 | 6-4 | Loss | -113 | 8 h 57 m | Show
DMack's Blue Jays/Yanks Super Play winner is on the New York Yankees The Bombers have somehow managed to go 2-9 after their 13-game win streak and have lost five in a row. They're now chasing Boston in the wildcard race and the red-hot Jays (10-1 L11) are breathing down their throats. Nestor Cortes is 2-1 with a 2.63 ERA in his L4 and the Yanks are 7-2 in his starts. He's been exceptionally tough in the early going giving up just one first-inning run in his nine starts. The Bombers need to get right and do it now with the clock running down. Bronx bats come alive tonight to grab a much needed win. |
09-08-21 | Rays +100 v. Red Sox | 1-2 | Loss | -100 | 13 h 6 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the Tampa Bay Rays Tampa Bay is 28-9 in their L37 as they make their bid for home field through the playoffs. McClanahan is 5-1 with a 3.67 ERA in his L6 starts and toes the rubber for a Rays outfit that has won seven straight road games. Nathan Evoldi has been a Godsend for the Red Sox but is just 1-1 with a 2.43 ERA in his L5 as Boston comes back to the field after a red hot first half. Boston has lost three straight and only remains in wildcard contention thanks to the slumping Yanks. At the end of the day, Tampa Bay just wins these games and tonight they're a pick. Grab it! |
09-07-21 | Phillies v. Brewers -100 | 0-10 | Win | 100 | 9 h 11 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the Milwaukee Brewers Both teams have been playing great. The Phillies are 8-2 in their L10 to climb to within a game and a half of the Braves in the NL East. The Brewers have been good all year and are 31-16 L47 and on a 6-3 run at home. Aaron Nola is 4-0 in 7 LT starts against the Brew Crew but is 0-1 with a 5.30 ERA in his L7 starts. To be fair, he's had several win vultured away by the pen and has deserved a better fate. Eric Lauer is 1-1 with a 2.42 ERA in his L5 starts so his form is good. The Brewers have actually done their best work on the road but like the fact that they are 44-22 in division and still have an outside shot at best record in the National league which is still doable. Take the Brewers. |
09-06-21 | Rangers v. Angels -125 | 4-0 | Loss | -125 | 10 h 3 m | Show
DMack's MLB Late Show Bail Out Super Play is on the Angels The Rangers, like the Rockies and the DBacks, troubles on the road are well documented. Texas has struggled everywhere in the second half going just 12-36 L48. A.J. Alexy was decent throwing five scoreless in his first 2021 start but faces a mashing Angels outfit at home here. Halo starter Jaime Barria is not much but he has handled the Rangers in nine LT starts going 5-2 with a 3.18 ERA. Both teams playing out the string but Anaheim is looking to build for next year with a strong finish. Take Anaheim. |
09-06-21 | Mets -124 v. Nationals | Top | 3-4 | Loss | -124 | 2 h 23 m | Show |
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the New York Mets The Mets are like Lazarus, having risen from the dead by winning 8 of their L9 including 4 of their L5 on the road. They're just 3.5 back of Atlanta in the wide open NL East and in the mix for a wildcard. Whether any of that will happen remains to be seen but today they send Trevor Williams to the bump and the ex-Pirate/Cub has been razor sharp. The big righty has a 2.08 ERA and the Metropolitans have won both his starts. The Nats are 14-37 in their L51 and just 3-12 in their L15 home games and appear to be simply playing out the string. Patrick Corbin is 1-5 with a 7.88 ERA in his L6, Washington is 2-10 in his L12 starts. The Mets have opened the door and know they have the opportunity to kick it in. They get it done today at just 25 cents. |
09-05-21 | Astros -109 v. Padres | Top | 3-4 | Loss | -109 | 11 h 57 m | Show |
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the Houston Astros Luis Garcia has ben lights out toeing the bump for the Houston Astros. He's 3-0 with a 2.28 ERA over his L5 starts and Houston is 14-4 in his 18 starts overall. Chris Paddack has shown signs at time but has battled injuries. He's 3-0 with a 3.48 ERA over his L4 starts but has only gone past five innings once. The Padres playoff hopes are on life support and the Friars are just 6-14 L20 and 2-8 in their L10 at home. Houston is just 2-4 in their L6 but in a good spot here to get things back on track behind their best available starter. Take Houston. |
09-04-21 | Mariners -122 v. Diamondbacks | Top | 8-5 | Win | 100 | 9 h 9 m | Show |
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the Seattle Mariners Quick .... in 2021 bases ... what team leads in ROI ??? If you said anyone other than the Seattle Mariners, you'd be wrong. Seattle has been one of this year's surprises and the M's look to be carrying it right to the end. Marco Gonzalez is 3-0 with a 1.98 ERA in his L4 and has been giving Seattle some much needed quality starts. The M's have won 4 of 5 and are 8-2 in their L10 road games. The DBacks have lost 6 of 7 and look to have already made their tee times for October 1st. The Snakes always have a punchers chance at home but this a team that looks like it has mailed it in in and the 20 cents looks cheap. Take Seattle. |
09-03-21 | Astros -125 v. Padres | 6-3 | Win | 100 | 13 h 34 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the Houston Astros As much as anything else, this is a fade of the Padres Jake Arrieta who has lost eight straight starts with two teams. He's 0-3 with an 11.15 ERA in his L4 starts and the fact that he's starting here just shows how thin the Friars are in starting pitching. Probably a good spot for the Astros who have been shut out in back-to-back games and then had a bye last night to regroup. Urquidy returns at a good time. He hasn't started since June 29th but was 2-0 with a 2.42 ERA before getting shut down. The Astros are 9-5 in his starts this year, 10-5 after tonight. |
09-02-21 | Braves -1.5 v. Rockies | 6-5 | Loss | -104 | 9 h 0 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the Atlanta Braves Run-Line Gonna take a shot vs. a team that's 44-23 at home but merited by the pitching mismatch. The Braves ran into the white hot Dodgers and were swept in L.A. but have a chance to get very health here. The Bravos face Chi Chi Gonzalez who has been throwing batting practice (10.50 ERA) over his L3 starts and should do lots of business here. Touki Toussaint is 2-0 with a 3.27 ERA in his L4 and has been very good in the early going. Atlanta is going to be in a great spot to get back on track here and does so in dominant fashion. |
09-01-21 | Astros -139 v. Mariners | 0-1 | Loss | -139 | 12 h 34 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the Houston Astros The Astros are 9-9 in their L18 games which is understandable as they have a five game cushion in the AL West and have basically to stay healthy and get their pitching set for a playoff run. Jake Odorizzi (2-0, 3.00, L4) is finding his groove and has had success against the M's this year. Seattle seems to have hit the wall and sends a struggling Logan Gilbert (0-3, 9.13, L5) to the mound. He's faced the Astros once this year and gave up 9 runs while recording just 13 outs. The M's are just 4-6 L10 and 8-10 L18 overall. 40 cents could be a bit cheap. Take Houston. |
08-31-21 | Brewers -115 v. Giants | 6-2 | Win | 100 | 13 h 38 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the Milwaukee Brewers The Brew Crew just keep on keeping on. Milwaukee is 27-13 in their L40 and 11-4 in their L15 with suitcase. The Giants have been great but have been showing signs of hitting the wall. San Fran has lost three of their last four and their bats has suddenly gone cold. Brandon Woodruff has cooled off after a big first half but has still kept Milwaukee in a position to win most games and shut the Giants down cold in his only start against them this year, allowing one run in 6 and a third. Milwaukee gets it done here. |
08-30-21 | Red Sox v. Rays -133 | 1-6 | Win | 100 | 6 h 58 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the Tampa Bay Rays Tampa Bay is 22-6 in it's L28 games and owns a virtual stranglehold on the AL East with a month to play. The come off a big run against Baltimore, a team they've owned, but you can only play the teams they put in front of you. Boston has clawed its way back into the second wild card but the BoSox now hit the road where they are just 4-12 L16. The Rays are 7-1 in their L8 at the Trop and inexplicably just find ways to win. The price looks just about right so will ride the streaking Rays as a small favorite here. |
08-29-21 | Yankees -142 v. A's | 1-3 | Loss | -142 | 16 h 2 m | Show
DMack Sunday MLB Three-Pack Winner is on the New York Yankees The Yankees saw their 13-game winning streak snapped on Saturday, no big deal, they ran into a very tough Frankie Montas. Bounceback time for a Bomber outfit that sends Jeff Montgomery (2-0, 1.80 ERA L5) out to toe the rubber. The Bronx is on a 34-11 run and have to be ultra-confident. The A's snapped a six-game losing streak yesterday but their wildcard hopes might be a horse out of the barn. Oakland lost both of Nick Blackburn's starts and it's doubtful he'll be able to shut down the big Bomber bats a second straight day. Yanks get he money. |
08-29-21 | Brewers -153 v. Twins | 6-2 | Win | 100 | 11 h 3 m | Show
DMack Sunday MLB Three-Pack Winner is on the Milwaukee Brewers The Brewers have almost identical number after the All-Star Break to the Giants who we'll also be using in this three-pack. The Brew Crew is 25-13 L38 and 9-4 L13 on the road. The Twins have played well at home going 8-2 in their L10 at Target Field but still don't mind laying 50 cents with a Milwaukee team that's starting to heat up at the plate. Griffin Jax (1-1, 8.34) has thrown batting practice in his last three starts and doesn't figure to reverse form against the lineup he'll be facing here. Brewers. |
08-29-21 | Giants +111 v. Braves | 0-9 | Loss | -100 | 10 h 57 m | Show
DMack Sunday MLB Three-Pack Winner is on the San Francisco Giants Looks like Desclafani will get the start for the Giants. The ex-Red has cooled of some after a fast start but is still 11-5 on the year with a 3.26 ERA. He'll face the Bravos Ian Anderson who has not started since July 11th. The Giants have turned back the Dodgers at every call and this tough bunch of one-year expiring contracts has been tough as nails. The G-Men are 26-13 since the ASB and 9-4 in their L13 on the road. The Braves are just 6-6 in their L12 at home and have enough of a lead in the East that they'll barely need to pay attention to make the post season. Better team is a dog on the road vs. a team with no urgency whatsoever. Take the Giants. |
08-28-21 | Cardinals v. Pirates UNDER 8.5 | 13-0 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 52 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the Cardinals/Pirates Under (Wainwright/Brault) Adam Wainwright is as good right now as he's been in years. He's 5-1 with a 1.84 ERA in his L6 starts with the under also going 5-1. The Low in 7-2 in the Red Birds L9. Wainwright is 3-0 with a 0.39 ERA in three starts vs. Pitt this year. Steven Brault is 0-2 with a 1.93 ERA over his L starts with the Bucs giving him just four total runs of support in those starts. He's 0-2 with a 3.00 ERA in two starts vs. St Louis this year and the Pirates have seemingly put away their bats a month early as the under is 9-3-1 in their L13 overall. Runs are going to be tough to come by here .... play the UNDER. |
08-27-21 | Reds -134 v. Marlins | 6-0 | Win | 100 | 10 h 34 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the Cincinnati Reds The Reds will not run down the Brewers in the NL Central but they are scratching and clawing for a very doable Wildcard spot. Cincinnati sends their most reliable starter to the mound tonight in Wade Miley who is 2-0 with a 2.44 ERA over his last four starts. The Reds are 15-8 in his 23 starts. Miami looks like it's flown the white flag going 2-8 in it's L10 games. Zach Thompson is 0-3 with a 4.25 ERA in his L6 and the Fish are 3-9 in his 12 starts. Two teams headed in opposite directions so will bank urgency with the Reds who also throw their best front man. |
08-26-21 | Yankees -109 v. A's | 7-6 | Win | 100 | 11 h 20 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the NY Yankees Once again looking at two teams headed in opposite directions. The Bronx Bombers have won 11 straight, their best run since 1985, and benefit from a rare off day yesterday. The A's have lost four straight, 9 of 12, have virtually played themselves out of the wildcard, and the pen can't get anyone out. Taillon has found his groove winning his last four starts (2.88) and the Yankee pen has been pretty much lights out since the break. Kaprielian has been the best Oakland starter of late but was no mystery to the Bronx the only time they've met, allowing three runs in five innings. Yanks are white hot (32-10 L42) and can twist the knife on the A's with a strong series here. The Bombers het the call in this more or less pick'em. |
08-25-21 | Giants +109 v. Mets | 3-2 | Win | 109 | 9 h 9 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the San Francisco Giants The is a matchup of two team headed is opposite directions. The Giants are 23-12 since the All-Star break and have shown no signs of folding from pressure by the Dodgers. The Mets are on a 24-40 run, have quit hitting, and have played themselves into early tee-times. San Francisco has been excellent with suitcase all year and are currently on a 10-3 run in their L13 road games. Met starter Tiajuan Walker got off to a fast start but is 0-5 and rocking a 6.21 ERA over his L6 starts. Johnny Cueto hasn't started in 17 days (hence + number on the Giants) but he's a tested veteran that has been through stretch runs before and should figure out a way to get a very good late inning Giants pen. Take the Giants. |
08-24-21 | Yankees +127 v. Braves | 5-4 | Win | 127 | 5 h 59 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the NY Yankees (Heaney Listed) We get it, Andrew Heaney (2-1, 6.55) has been basically throwing batting practice since joining the Bombers but the white hot Bronx has won 11 straight, 13-1 in L14 roadies, and 31-10 in L41 overall. Cashman's trade deadline moves have kicked in and the once vaunted bullpen has finally found it's groove. The Braves are 9-1 L10 after last night's loss to the Yanks and playing great as well. Charlie Morton is Charlie Morton and the Yankees saw him a bunch last year when he played for the Rays.
