At HunterSportsPicks, I like to give customers some great free sports picks on a regular basis. Today, I’m going to offer up a free play from the MLB card. Let’s take a look at the game and why I believe this baseball pick is a great value!
Washington Nationals at Atlanta Braves- Take Atlanta -1.5 in this one. Tim Hudson is starting to put his name into the NL Cy Young discussion with his amazing pitching of late. Hudson has allowed just 2 earned runs in his 37 innings pitched. Hudson has an ERA well under 2 at home this year, and the Braves are 9-3 in the last 12 games Hudson has started against Washington. Livan Hernandez is on the mound for Washington and he has never fared very well against Atlanta. The Nationals are just 5-11 in Hernandez’s last 16 starts against Atlanta. While Hernandez has pitched well this year, the Nationals simply don’t seem to give him very much run support. I don’t think there is any reason to believe that will change with a guy like Tim Hudson pitching for the Braves today. The Braves moneyline is a bit pricy, so take the run line here.
