20* Orlando Magic vs. Washington Wizards UNDER 196 Both of these two teams are trending towards the UNDER. The last 2 meetings between these teams the total has been lined at this number and they have scored in the 180's each time, and that was with the old coach of the magic who usually played to the over. Now Orlando has a new coach and they really have been playing much slower their last 2 games. Orlando is 41-20 to the under their last 61 games on the road and 4-1 their last 5 overall. Washington is 16-7 to the under after scoring more than 100 points their previous game and 19-7 playing on 1 days rest. Look for a low scoring game in this one. UPDATE: I do like Orlando +9.5 and have been really debating on putting it up as a play. Also lean Indiana +5 but may leave it off the card since San Antonio burned us yesterday and they could bounce back.

These squads have got to be tired and I don't see them pushing the pace. San Antonio has been an under machine playing on back to backs cashing 8 of the last 9. Poppovich has been known to sit his starters and/or not play them as many minutes in tough scheduling spots. Indiana has been a very good defense team at home, ranking in the top 10 in almost all categories, and the Spurs are the BEST defensive team on the road this season. Expect a very slow, defensive struggle tonight in Indiana.

50* ONE & ONLY NCAA GAME OF THE YEAR Baylor -6.5 Almost everything I look for in a game when deciding a top play has fallen into place for this game. Oklahoma State just upset Kansas on their home floor, coming back from a double digit deficit. Here comes a letdown. To make matters worse, that was also on Saturday, so the quick turnaround AND travel has got to hurt this team. The Cowboys beat Texas in OT the game before that, which was only 4 days ago. This team has got to be tired and the icing on the cake is that they beat this Baylor squad less than two weeks ago. Baylor should be in for some serious revenge. To say the Baylor Bears have been on a roll is an understatement. They've won 4 out of their last 5 (yes their only loss was Okie State) and their victories have all been in BLOWOUT fashion. They beat #18 Oklahoma by 11, #19 Texas by 23, and just smashed #15 West Virginia by 18. They're playing arguably the best basketball, in the best conference in America right now. A big key for this game is rebounding and the Bears have a HUGE advantage on the boards. Baylor ranks 4th in the nation in rebounding, while Oklahoma State is 192nd. The Bears are also the 20th best defensive team in the country and that should cause serious problems for the Cowboys as they are the type of team that struggles if they are not hitting their shots since they are 268th in assists. Baylor shot a miserable 34% in their loss to Oklahoma State their last meeting. As long as they don't go completely cold from the field, Baylor dominates this game from start to finish as they are the better rebounding team, better defensive team, and better offensive team. Baylor IS the better all-around team, and given the situations, this leads us to making the Baylor Bears THE NCAA GAME OF THE YEAR! Wanted to add some trends that support our case: Baylor is 10-2 ATS their last 12 against a team with a losing road record. The home team is 13-3 ATS the last 16 in this series. Oklahoma State is 1-10 ATS their last 11 meetings in Baylor. Oklahoma State is 1-5 ATS their last 6 meetings. 50* represents 5% of your bankroll. Don't go crazy. At the end of the day, this is just ONE game. Please bet responsibly. Best of luck! -Don Anthony

40* NBATV GAME OF THE WEEK San Antonio Spurs -1 The annual Rodeo Road Trip kicks off for the Spurs tonight in Toronto and I expect the Spurs to be focused and ready for the most popular stretch of road games in the league. The Spurs are hot right now and good news for them is that they have been very successful in this spot over the past 12 seasons. The Spurs have won the first game of the Rodeo Road Trip, 10 out of 12 times. Given the recent history of the Toronto Raptors against the good teams of the league, winning just 2 of their last 9, and being just 3-13 ATS their last 16 games playing on 1 day rest, look for San Antonio to get the win tonight.

50* NCAA MAX BET Indiana -7.5 I'll start off by saying this. Michigan is vastly overrated and they are playing without their two best players. This team has nothing, they rely way too much on the three ball and if their not dropping, they get destroyed. Bad news for the Wolverines is that Indiana defends the perimeter well. Historically, Indiana has DOMINATED Michigan at home. They have taken 16 of the last 17 and have covered the spread, 6 of the last 7 meetings. Indiana on the season is 13-1 straight up at home and they have a terrific atmosphere. They haven't lost since November! The Hoosiers should run this team out of the gym. They're bigger, better, and deeper, and I expect Indiana to pull away in the second half because Michigan cannot keep up with this squad.

20* UCLA -3.5 Both these teams enter this contest off wild finishes in their previous games. UCLA squeaked by Stanford last time out as they had a 20+ point 2nd half lead and it still came down to the final shot. I believe this will keep this team focused because they very easily could have lost that game. California almost lost to USC! That's right USC! Luckily they hit a 3 point buzzer beater to seal a one point victory. I smell a letdown. This team has some problems that I don't think will be cured by the time UCLA comes into town. As for the Bruins, they look like they have finally turned the corner after the dreadful start to the season and I expect them to get this much needed W late in the season.

Everyone and their mother are going to line up and take Notre Dame, seeing how many points they will get, but this seems like a trap to me. We know that Notre Dame beat them recently and Duke has the obvious revenge angle but this is a very quick turnaround as that game was last week. This game is fresh in the minds of the Dukies and lets remember, they have the best coach in the business. Coach K's gameplan, I feel, will completely shut down the Irish and the Blue Devils should win this one by double digits.

30* TV TRIFECTA West Virginia -3.5 Would have made this a TOP PLAY if this line came out at less than 3 but we'll still play this for 3%. I expect West Virginia to bounce back after their awful performance on national TV against the Sooners. The Mountaineers were without their best player in that game due to an illness so that did play a part in that loss. Williams will be back for this one and it should pay dividends. What makes WVU so successful is their full court pressure. They lead the nation in steals and turnovers on defense and that is horrible news for Baylor. They are 172nd in the nation committing turnovers and they haven't seen this press yet. The Bears should be in for a long day on the offensive side of the ball and WVU should run away with this one by getting a ton of points of turnovers.

They also have been playing really well on the road going 11-4 ATS their last 15. They have played well against the good team of the league and are 7-3 their last 10 against teams with a winning record. On the other hand, the Suns have been costing bettors a lot of money of late losing 6 of their last 8 games ATS. With 70% of the bets on the Suns and with the line continuing to drop, I expect the Jazz to keep this one close tonight and wouldn't be surprised if this one came down to the wire.

Orlando just fired their coach and usually you get a very strong effort out of a team after a firing or letting someone go. Just look at the Pistons when they got rid of Josh Smith. The Lakers continue to be a mess and they are even worse on the road. Orlando should be able to do enough to get the W here and we'll play it small with at the current number. UPDATE: I see this line is now at -4.5 and even -5 at some places. If you don't want to lay the number, consider doing a moneyline parlay with Orlando and Memphis.

40* NBA UNDERDOG OF THE WEEK Los Angeles Clippers +103 Yes, we faded the Clippers last night and cashed with the Cavaliers but since the Clips played terribly and got blown out, I expect Doc Rivers to lay it on these guys and they'll come out with a solid effort tonight. In fact, LA is 8-3 ATS coming off a loss of 10 or more points. Toronto hasn't been playing well of late and they struggle against the good teams of the league. They are just 2-10 ATS against teams with a winning record +.600% and they are 0-7 ATS vs. teams with a winning road record. Toronto is a jump shooting team and if their shots aren't falling, they're going to be in big trouble, especially against a bigger, better rebounding team like the Clippers. To wrap it all up, Toronto is just 1-7 ATS their last 8 home games and 5-14 ATS their last 19 games OVERALL. Look for the Clippers to pull the minor upset tonight.

Now, the Blazers get them at home where they are much better. They haven't lost in close to two months there. What is going to be the difference in this game is the rebounding. UAB has the CLEAR advantage in this category as they are the BEST in the conference and LA Tech is one of the worst. Another very important factor when backing a dog is their FT shooting % and clearly UAB is the better team from the charity stripe. This a HUGE game for UAB tonight and I expect an outright victory for these guys tonight.

50* NBA REVENGE GAME OF THE MONTH Washington Wizards +6 As you know by now, The Atlanta Hawks win streak came to an end on Monday at the hands of the New Orleans Pelicans. One of my favorite situations in sports is fading a team the next game after losing to end a long winning streak. Conventional wisdom would tell you that "Oh, they should bounce back after the rare loss." Usually that is NOT the case. The team suffers a letdown again and, more often than not, they are still overvalued. We have that scenario here tonight along with another great spot that is going in the Wizards favor. Atlanta CRUSHED this team last time they played 120-89 just a couple weeks ago, so Washington still has that bad taste in their mouth and should give an inspired effort tonight. Look for the Wizards to keep this one close tonight and don't be surprised if they take this one.

How can you completely shut down the King, LeBron James, in the NBA Finals, be one of the best defensive players in the game, win Finals MVP, and get NO LOVE from the media. But that's a point for another day. The San Antonio Spurs are rested and The Clippers come in playing last night. The Clippers have been terrible in this spot of late, going 0-6 ATS playing on 0 rest. Los Angeles is also only 2-8 ATS their last 10 road games. 40* NBA TOTAL OF THE WEEK Houston Rockets vs. Boston Celtics UNDER 206.5 When you look deep into the stats of theses two teams, you will see that both have serious problems on the offensive side of the ball that are important in breaking down totals. For one, Houston is the 2nd worst free throw shooting team in the league and Boston attempts the 3rd lest amount. This is VERY important has free throws add points without the clock running. The Rockets shoot a ton of threes but if they go cold or the face team, like the Celtics, that can defend the three, they can struggle to break 100. The Celtics held them under 30% last time out and Houston has failed to break 100 in 2 straight games. Given the recent form of these two squads, all signs point to the UNDER tonight.

20* Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Philadelphia 76ers UNDER 193 EVERY stat and trend for both teams have them going UNDER the total tonight. Both of these teams can go completely cold from the field in spurts and that will help our case dramatically. Philadelphia leads the league in turnovers and turnovers committed. The 76ers have played to 8 straight unders at home and are 13-2 to the under following a S.U. win. Minnesota has played to 4 straight unders following a S.U. win as well. Two bad teams looking for a W should lead to a low scoring defensive struggle tonight.

Their last game they were dominating the Wizards, but like Laker fashion, they went cold and ended up losing but did cover depending on your number. Chicago typically doesn't do well as heavy favorites and the last time they were laying this kind of number, Miami crushed them to a wire-to-wire victory. Look for LA to keep this one in single digits tonight.

ESPN will be there and I expect them to stay inside the number tonight. Utah has played two straight blowouts games so they could be a bit over valued and not ready for close game late in the ball game.

40* NCAA UNDERDOG OF THE WEEK Massachusetts (UMass) +2 Personally playing part of the wager on the moneyline. This one is pretty simple. UMass is great at home and Dayton is not very good on the road. UMass is a tough place to play. They have only 3 losses there over the past 2 years. This line is telling us something here, making this game a pick em with Dayton being 16-3 and UMass is 10-9. UMass is a very live dog here tonight. They shoot FTs well, which is very important backing a dog, and they play with a fast pace. This is the type of team that gives Dayton trouble. Add in the fact that UMass is bigger down low and you have the recipe for an upset tonight.

40* Milwaukee Bucks +3 Going to play part of the wager on the moneyline In my opinion, Milwaukee should be favored in this one. Miami is not a very good team and I believe they are over valued here after their big win over the Chicago Bulls on Sunday. This Miami team is in one of their worst spots as they are 3-14 their last 17 following a straight up win and 3-14 their last 17 following a ATS win as well. Milwaukee has been very good playing against the losing teams of the league as they are 19-7 facing a team with a losing record and have covered the spread in those games in 4 straight. Bucks are the better team and getting the points here are a bonus.

They play very well against the good teams, and they know how to get up for the big games. They are a well coach group and even though their overall record doesn't show it, they are at the TOP of conference. I do expect them to win, but given the fact that this a back to back for them and their 6th game in 9 nights, they will take it easy and not keep the petal to the metal and win this game by single digits.

The Atlanta Hawks are on a very impressive win streak right now, but they have played 8 straight eastern conference opponents. A simple rule for the NBA is the West beats the East. The West is just hands down more competitive and there's a lot more talent. OKC is on a roll right now and I think Atlanta is going to have a very tough time containing Durant and Westbrook. The Thunder is clearly the better team when they are all healthy and clicking on all cylinders. OKC gets it done on the road tonight. Personally played 3% on spread and 1% on moneyline

Yes, they have won two games in a row, but it was to a Pelicans team that sat pretty much their entire starting line-up and Philadelphia, the laughing stock of the league. Orlando is much better than New York. Most of you guys know this by now but I can't stand Carmelo Anthony. He is, without a doubt, the most overrated player in professional sports and how he is an All-Star STARTER just blows my mind. He turns the ball over way too often and balls hogs like nobody's business. I expect Orlando to crush this team tonight an send the Knicks back to reality as the worst team in the NBA.

Brooklyn did lose 7 straight games this month and 5 of those were at Barclay's Center. They even lost to PHILADELPHIA. Los Angeles has had 2 nights off to prepare for this game and the Clippers have always been good against the bad teams of the league. 50* NBA NON-CONFERENCE GAME OF THE YEAR Milwaukee Bucks -7.5 We cashed our NBA PRE ALL STAR GAME OF THE YEAR behind Milwaukee in a similar spot and we'll go large on them again as they are prime for another blowout win tonight. The Utah Jazz just got pummeled against the Cleveland Cavaliers and now they have to travel to Milwaukee to play the Bucks. This is a bad spot for Utah. For one, they are terrible on the road and they are just 6-15 ATS as well when playing on no rest. On the other hand, Milwaukee is 10-3 ATS playing on 2 days rest. The Bucks have been playing great basketball lately and Jason Kidd has done a fine job with these guys. This is their first game of a 3 games in 4 nights set and I don't expect them to look past this young Utah team as they need this win as the next two will be tough against a rising Detroit club and the NBA champ, San Antonio Spurs. If Milwaukee plays the brand of defense they are capable of and don't go completely cold from the field, they cruise to a double digit victory on their home floor tonight.
