11-18-18 | Bucs +2.5 v. Giants | Top | 35-38 | Loss | -101 | 20 h 32 m | Show |
Chip's 'Guaranteed' Money Game Winner Tampa Bay at New York Giants 1:00 ET Buccaneers (+) over Giants- So, the Giants won a game and defeated the Mighty Forty-niners who were on the third string quarterback. Despite what you may think you saw last Monday night New York is a long way for being a competitive team in this league. The Giants have won twice on the road but are a dismal 0-4 SU and ATS at home losing by an average of 12 points per game. Tampa Bay started the season with a win over New Orleans (the Saints only loss) and have realized not matter what the score that Jamis Winston is no the answer and they will be going with Ryan Fitzpatrick who has plenty of experience at Met Life Stadium one of the toughest places to throw the football because of the crosswinds (Phil Simms made the adjustment). Fitzpatrick threw for over 400 yards again last week and will put up enough points against this imposter defense of New York. Take TAMPA BAY! |
11-18-18 | Steelers v. Jaguars +6 | Top | 20-16 | Win | 100 | 19 h 21 m | Show |
Pittsburgh at Jacksonville 1:00 ET Jaguars (+) over Steelers- Granted, Pittsburgh with Ben Roethlisberger leading the way look unstoppable even without the moron Somebody Bell. The Steelers were 1-2-1 and were looking up at the entire division (even the Browns at the time) and have reeled off five straight wins and more importantly 'covers.' Jacksonville is just a shell of themselves without Leonard Fournette who returned to action after missing four games. In last year's playoff game 'Big Ben' threw for 469 yards and five TD passes in the Jaguars 45-42 playoff win as a 7-point dog at Pittsburgh. Jacksonville has lost their last five but with the return of Fournett will look to control the ball and eek out a win. Take JAGUARS! |
11-17-18 | Arizona +11 v. Washington State | Top | 28-69 | Loss | -115 | 28 h 56 m | Show |
Arizona at Washington State 10:30 ET Wildcats (+) over Cougars- Washington State posted their 6th win in-a-row over Colorado (UGH) last week and are now 9-1 on the season with their only loss at USC 39-36. Arizona opened the season a 11.5-point favorite against BYU and were trounced 28-23 in a game the wasn't that close. The Wildcats have won their last two and the last one was two weeks ago over Colorado 42-34 and they a win here or one in their final game against Arizona State. I have to like Arizona's chances here as the underdog is 10-4 ATS in the series. Take ARIZONA! |
11-17-18 | Jazz +4 v. Celtics | Top | 98-86 | Win | 100 | 8 h 30 m | Show |
Utah at Boston 7:35 ET Jazz (+) over Celtics- Trailing by 5-points with under two minutes to play the Celtics managed to pull out their second straight home win in overtime against Toronto last night. The Jazz meanwhile were struggling down the stretch as they faltered in the final moments against Philadelphia last night and they are just 1-7 ATS in the second of back-to-backs. Utah has had their problems in Boston where they are just 1-6-2 ATS in the last nine meetings and only 4-10-2 ATS overall in the last 16 meetings. Utah's Sam Mitchell is off a terrible night and the Celtics should be a little worn out both physically and mentally. Take UTAH! |
11-17-18 | Lakers v. Magic +4.5 | 117-130 | Win | 100 | 8 h 23 m | Show
L.A. Lakers at Orlando 7:00 ET Magic (+) over Lakers- Los Angeles enters the 'Magic Kingdom' off four straight wins as LeBron James is off his first 40-point performance as a Laker. Unfortunately (maybe not) the Lakers have lost point guard Rajon Rondo with a broken hand and he will be out about six weeks, that will give the 'great' Lonzo Ball more playing time. Since their opening home game loss 120-95 to the Clippers on Nov. 2 the Magic are 5-2 and an amazing 9-1 over LA at home. Take ORLANDO! |
11-17-18 | 76ers v. Hornets -2.5 | 122-119 | Loss | -104 | 8 h 9 m | Show
Philadelphia at Charlotte 7:00 ET Hornets (-) over 76ers- Okay, here we go. The 76ers have defeated Charlotte eight straight times and they have made the block buster trade that could put them over-the-top acquiring All-Star Jimmy Butler. Yet, they opened as an underdog here and maybe their 2-7 SU and ATS road record in the reason or possibly because of this being the second of back-to-back contests Joel Embiid may not see as many minutes. Either way tonight it is CHARLOTTE! |
11-17-18 | Boston College v. Florida State +1.5 | Top | 21-22 | Win | 100 | 19 h 21 m | Show |
Chip's 'Guaranteed' ACC Vegas Insider Winner (7-2 78%) Boston College at Florida State 3:30 ET Seminoles (+) over Eagles- in my 'Bubble has burst' category Boston College is the leader in the clubhouse. They had huge expectations (so did 'we') last Saturday night on National TV hosting Clemson. Well, they were dominated in a 27-7 drubbing by the Tigers as they lost their one-man offense in running back AJ Dillon hurting (he should be an NFL player) to an ankle injury. Meanwhile, the Seminoles have lost three straight and are 3-7 ATS on the season and coach Willie Taggert still doesn't have a clue. But, Florida has a history of pounding the Eagles and with this ridiculous 'number' it is more than likely State posts a win here. Take FLORIDA STATE! |
11-17-18 | Texas Tech v. Kansas State +7 | 6-21 | Win | 100 | 19 h 8 m | Show
Chip's 'Guaranteed' Big-12 'Money Game' Winner Texas Tech at Kansas State 3:30 ET Wildcats (+) over Red Raiders- Talk about having your backs up against the wall, we a 79 year old coach in Bill Snyder is at the end of a fabulous 27 year head coaching career and need wins here and in the season final last game to become bowl eligible. Kansas State has played in eight straight bowl games but things haven't been the same of late as the Wildcats have struggled against better competition. But, they need this in the worst way and know they can win here as they have beaten the Red Raiders three straight time and Tech is just 2-5 ATS in the last seven meetings. Senior Day wins here...Take KANSAS STATE! |
11-17-18 | USC v. UCLA +3 | Top | 27-34 | Win | 100 | 19 h 59 m | Show |
Chip's 'Guaranteed' Pac-12 'Rivalry' Winner Southern Cal at U.C.L.A. 3:30 ET Bruins (+) over Trojans- It hasn't been the best of season's for this pair of LA schools as USC is just 5-5 and 3-7 ATS while the Bruins are 2-8 and only 4-6 ATS. So disappointing has been the year for but these clubs this is the most combined losses they have ever had when meeting. USC leads the series 49-31-7 but are just 7-10 against UCLA in the Rose Bowl including 2-5 ATS in their last seven visits. I'm not so crazy the way this one sets up with the Trojans off a loss to Cal and UCLA beating ASU. Still I see the Bruins who have lost the last three meetings straight-up pull of a win as they have come on after a weak start. Take U.C.L.A.! |
11-17-18 | West Virginia v. Oklahoma State +7 | Top | 41-45 | Win | 100 | 19 h 46 m | Show |
Chip's 'Guaranteed' Big-12 Megabucks Winner West Virginia at Oklahoma State 3:30 ET Cowboys (+) over Mountaineers- OK St is another club on the cusp where at 5-5 where they must win this week or next to become bowl eligible and for the Cowboys are at TCU next. West Virginia has been nearly flawless only stubbing their toe at Iowa State and they are tied with Oklahoma who they play next week. So does that give the Mountaineers leeway of they fail here and defeat the Sooners next week. Cowboys can buck the odds here and post a win for 'us' all. Take OKLAHOMA STATE! |
11-17-18 | Syracuse v. Notre Dame -10 | 3-36 | Win | 100 | 19 h 48 m | Show
Chip's 'Guaranteed' Power Play' Winner Syracuse vs Notre Dame 2:30 ET Fighting Irish (-) over Orange- When I first saw the opening number on this game I though of how excessively high it was and it wasn't until Thursday the I realized the game was being played at Yankee Stadium not under the Golden Dome and still as we speak the price goes up. Why is that! Both these clubs are coming off impressive victories as the Irish pounded Florida State and the Orange crush Louisville. Notre Dame leads the Shamrock Series 8-0 and with this price I see them remaining undefeated. Defense the key here...take NOTRE DAME! |
11-17-18 | Ohio State v. Maryland +15.5 | 52-51 | Win | 100 | 44 h 14 m | Show
Ohio State at Maryland 12:00 ET Terrapins (+) over Buckeyes- Well, the beat goes on at Ohio State where this week the folly has racial overtones concerning a former coach and player. Of course Urban Meyer has denied all of the allegations but it is just another distraction the Buckeyes have to deal with. Although Ohio State is 9-1 they have not been very impressive goin just 4-6 ATS including 1-3 ATS on the road with that win coming last week against Michigan State. Maryland will be starting sophomore Yyrrell Pigrome who was 10-of-13 off the bench last week as freshman started Kasim Hill was injured and is out for the season. The Buckeyes have a huge meetings against Michigan next week and they attention may be looking ahead. Take MARYLAND! |
11-16-18 | Jazz +3 v. 76ers | Top | 107-113 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 16 m | Show |
Utah at Philadelphia 7:00 ET Jazz (+) over 76ers- It looks like the lines-makers adjustment to the Jimmy Butler trade has been strong but and surprisingly enough in the opposite direction of what 'we' expected. The 76ers are a slight favorite here as they are off a loss in Butler's debut to Orlando and the Jazz are off their worst franchise loss since moving to Utah getting crushed at Dallas Wednesday 118-68 (that is a 50-point loss if I read it right). The Jazz will come to play tonight while the Sixers are still adjusting to playing with Butler and without the two starters they sent to Minnesota. Take UTAH! |
11-16-18 | Raptors +2 v. Celtics | Top | 116-123 | Loss | -102 | 8 h 7 m | Show |
Toronto at Boston 7:00 ET Raptors (+) over Celtics- Boston returned home and rebounded from 1-4 road trip with a resounding victory over the lowly Chicago Bulls while the Raptors have dropped their last two after starting 12-1. With the return of Gordon Hayward many of 'us' were expecting more out of the Celtics than we have seen so far this season. Toronto blew a 19-point lead to the Pistons and were defeated by last season's coach Dwane Casey. The Raptors might have got caught looking toward this match-up and they will be ready and there are two huge trends that favor Toronto. First, they are 7-2 ATS in their last nine meetings and Boston is 0-4 ATS in their last four against teams with a winning record. The last time these two met in Boston the Celtics were -4.5 and now they are favored by less than a bucket. The lines-maker has mad an adjustment and so should 'we'. Take TORONTO! |
11-16-18 | Heat +5 v. Pacers | 91-99 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 58 m | Show
Miami at Indiana 7:00 ET Heat (+) over Pacers- Indiana has one win in their last four outings and that came at Miami 110-102 a week ago tonight scoring the final 12 points of the game. In that contest Heat guard Goran Dragic did not play but he will be ready tonight as he returned on Saturday and he will be a strong factor for Miami. Indiana has had four days of rest and or practice but are just 3-3 both SU and ATS at home the exact same record as Miami on the road. Take MIAMI! |
11-16-18 | St. John's v. Rutgers +3.5 | Top | 84-65 | Loss | -102 | 7 h 14 m | Show |
St. John's at Rutgers 7:00 ET Scarlet Knights (+) over Red Storm- This was supposed to be the 'coming-out' season for St. John's, Chris Mullin has been given time to establish his personality on this club as he enters his fourth season at the helm. But, as fate would have it, the Red Storm's lone experienced big man on the roster has surgery on his right knee Wednesday and already the 2-0 Johnnies are having to make adjustments. St. John's prides itself on their defense and they will need it to contain the Knights who scored 90- and 95 points in their two wins. First road game for the young team from Queens and the school that is considered the University of New Jersey...Take RUTGERS! |
11-15-18 | Spurs +5.5 v. Clippers | Top | 111-116 | Win | 100 | 11 h 29 m | Show |
San Antonio at L.A. Clippers 10:30 ET Spurs (+) over Clippers- The Clippers are off two great overtime wins for 'us' defeating Milwaukee and Golden State on Saturday and Monday. Meanwhile, the Spurs have dropped their last four on the road including last night 111-96 loss at the lowly Phoenix Suns. On the flip side the Clippers are 6-0 ATS in their last six home games but were 1-2 against San Antonio last season but are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings in Los Angeles. The Spurs have now lost four of their last five and need a huge effort tonight. Take SAN ANTONIO! |
11-15-18 | Packers +3 v. Seahawks | 24-27 | Push | 0 | 10 h 59 m | Show
Green Bay at Seattle 8:20 ET Packers (+) over Seahawks- Golly this is an ugly game and it is difficult to make a case for either team. To start with Green Bay will be without wide receiver Randell Cobb and linebacker Adams will be out but Aaron Rogers was able to find Davante Adams twice for scores against Miami last week. Rogers may be limping around but he still performs at the highest level throwing 10 touchdown passes and zero interception in the last five games. Seattle is banded-up as well but the home field is seen as a major advantage here. Green Bay has lost six straight road games (0-4 this season), while the Seahawks have lost their last two at home. Tough call but it's the Packers tonight. Take GREEN BAY! |
11-15-18 | Ohio State v. Creighton +2 | Top | 69-60 | Loss | -106 | 7 h 45 m | Show |
Ohio State at Creighton 7:00 ET Bluejays over Buckeyes- both clubs are 2-0 on the season with the Buckeyes getting the cash twice while the Bluejays are 0-2 ATS. Although these two have not met since 1972 but Creighton is 13-1 against the Big Ten in their last fourteen meetings. Creighton was predicted to finish ninth in the Big East and have just two starters returning. With all this stuff going on this game is a virtual pick-em and that lends me to take the home team. Take CREIGHTON! |
11-14-18 | Spurs v. Suns +5 | Top | 96-116 | Win | 100 | 10 h 52 m | Show |
San Antonio at Phoenix 9:00 ET Suns (+) over Spurs- Well, the Spurs had to do it and they really had no choice in trading away Kawhi Leonard to Toronto in exchange for DeMar DeRosen and there lies the rub. DeRosen is the type of player that will provide you all kinds of stats expect for one...wins in crucial games as stats never lie but they can be very deceiving. Phoenix who opened the season with a huge win over Dallas has dropped 11 of 12 since including their last four. San Antonio has been no prize of late losing three of their last four but have won 14 of the last 15 meetings. After their blowout 118-101 loss to New Orleans Monday as new coach Igor Kokoskov complained about the lack of intensity. Although 2-5 SU at home the Suns are 4-3 ATS as hosts. Take PHOENIX! |
11-14-18 | Jazz v. Mavs +4.5 | 68-118 | Win | 100 | 9 h 17 m | Show
Utah at Dallas 8:30 ET Mavericks (+) over Jazz- These two have already met twice of five meetings this season and the Jazz have posted a pair of wins and covers. This is the second of a five-game road trip for Utah as they face the 76ers next and then Boston, with that schedule they might feel like they have a 'day-off' facing the Mavericks. Utah has won five straight and 8-of-9 meetings buy are just 2-6-1 ATS in their last nine meetings in Dallas. The Mavericks feel that they are starting to put things together and will post a win tonight. Take DALLAS! |
11-14-18 | 76ers v. Magic +6.5 | 106-111 | Win | 100 | 8 h 3 m | Show
Philadelphia at Orlando 7:00 ET Magic (+) over 76ers- Tonight Jimmy Butler will most likely make his debut tonight for Philadelphia and his new teammates welcomed him with open arms. Most trends here back the 76ers as they are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games in Orlando and the Magic are 1-6 ATS in their last seven home games overall. But, there is one trend for Orlando that says the Philly is 1-6 ATS in their last seven games following a win. There should be an adjustment period for the Sixers with Butler having practiced just once with his new teammates. Take ORLANDO! |
11-13-18 | Hawks v. Warriors -12.5 | 103-110 | Loss | -105 | 12 h 59 m | Show
Atlanta at Golden State 10:30 ET Warriors (-) over Hawks- I'm sure a good percentage of the action will come on Golden State as they are off an outright loss against the Clippers last night. The lowly Hawks have lost their last four and are 1-6 on the road as Atlanta has lost 12 of the last 13 meetings. They will be without center Dewayne Dedmon and the matchup between Stephen Curry and Atlanta rookie Trae Young won't happen as Curry nurses as sore groin. Golden State is 5-0 ATS at home against teams with a losing road record. Take the WARRIORS! |
11-13-18 | Rockets +4.5 v. Nuggets | Top | 109-99 | Win | 100 | 11 h 32 m | Show |
Houston at Denver 9:00 ET Rockets (+) over Nuggets- The Carmelo Anthony saga continues as the Rockets travel to Denver without their 'Super-Star' who is being shipped somewhere (anywhere) which will of course improve Houston immediately and start the decent of some other club. The Rockets won a lead leading 65 games last season with a run and gun offense that only Anthony could destroy. The Nuggets who started 9-1 have dropped their last three folding in the final minutes of their last two losses. Houston was 3-0 against the Nuggets last season and have won seven straight meetings. Houston is 4-3 on the road and with the return of Chris Paul and Clint Capela tonight helps the Rockets win here. Take HOUSTON! |
11-13-18 | Georgetown +8 v. Illinois | 88-80 | Win | 100 | 8 h 0 m | Show
Georgetown at Illinois 8:30 ET Hoyas (+) over Illini- These two clubs have litter history with Illinois winning four regular season meetings and the Hoyas taking an NCAA Tourney game in 1994. It's about time Patrick Ewing and Georgetown started moving back into the national picture and a win here would be a he step forward. The Hoyas who closed last season with five SU and ATS losses in a row haven't 'covered' in their last seven (0-7 ATS). Illinois opened the season with a 99-60 win over Evansville but will find the Hoyas defense a bit tougher led by 6'10” Jessie Govan who posted 26 points with three blocks last time out. Note that aside from the recent ATS issues for Georgetown they are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 true road games. Take GEORGETOWN! |
11-13-18 | Hornets v. Cavs +7.5 | 89-113 | Win | 100 | 9 h 44 m | Show
Charlotte at Cleveland 7:05 ET Cavaliers (+) over Hornets- Earlier this season Charlotte snapped a nine-game losing streak against the Cavaliers on their home floor and now face them in Cleveland where they have lost seven straight. Of course there was one key factor that doesn't exist anymore and that is the presence of LeBron James. The Cavs are just 1-11 straight-up and have lost their last five but are once again 7-2-1 ATS in this series including 4-1-1 ATS at home. Coach Larry Drew said of his team that 'they (the players) are starting to understand what is needed to win. Take CLEVELAND! |
11-12-18 | Spurs v. Kings +3 | Top | 99-104 | Win | 100 | 11 h 43 m | Show |
San Antonio at Sacramento 10:00 ET Kings (+) over Spurs- It has been over four year since the Kings have posted a win over San Antonio as the Spurs have won 14 straight meetings including their last seven in Sacramento going 5-1-1 ATS. The issue here is that both these clubs have gone through dramatic roster changes as the Spurs are now without Khawi Leonard and have added DeMar DeRozan while the Kings have a slue of young talented faces. Add No. 1 pick Marvin Bagley to go with Willie Cauley-Stein, De' Aaron Fox and Buddy Hield. The Spurs have Rudy Gay, Pau Gasol and Jacob Poelti all questionable. Take SACRAMENTO! |
11-12-18 | Giants v. 49ers -3 | Top | 27-23 | Loss | -118 | 11 h 32 m | Show |
New York Giants at San Francisco 8:15 ET 49ers (-) over Giants- Two of the NFL's bottom feeders pair up in Santa Clara where they question is can anyone here play quarterback? The Giants of course are stuck with lead foot and slow moving Eli Manning who is on pace to set records in total sacks. San Francisco started the season with what they thought was their 'franchise' quarterback in Jimmy Garoppolo and he went down with a season ending injury and C.J. Beathard came in and is now under concussion protocol. That brings us to Nick Mullens who got his chance and played to a 151.9 passer rating in his debut. Believe it or not the Niners are stronger and in a much better position then New York. Take SAN FRANCISCO! |
11-12-18 | 76ers v. Heat -2 | Top | 124-114 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 24 m | Show |
Philadelphia at Miami 7:35 ET Heat (-) over 76ers- so far this season Philadelphia has been easy to figure out this season as they are 7-0 straight-up at home and just 1-6 SU on the road and 1-9 ATS in their last 10 road games. Miami has dropped their last two falling apart in the final period twice, losing to the Wizards who outscored the Heat 31-12 in the final stanza and to Indiana late. Dwyane Wade has miss three games because of paternity leave (I didn't even know he was pregnant) but is expected back tonight. Of course the big news tonight is the debut of Jimmy Butler who the Sixers sacrificed 40% of their starting lineup giving up Dario Saric and Robert Covington to get him. Too much of an adjustment and too early...take MIAMI! |
11-12-18 | Magic v. Wizards -7.5 | 109-117 | Win | 100 | 8 h 38 m | Show
Orlando at Washington 7:00 ET Wizards (-) over Magic- If the Wizards are to preform and 'magic' it should start tonight. I the 'You've got to be kidding' department Washington opens a huge 8.5-point favorite as the 3-9 club won their last time out defeating the Heat in Miami. Orlando is off a scrimmage game win over New York and although 4-1 ATS on the road they have lost their last three to the Wizards. This line is so bogus it doesn't even consider that Washington is 1-11 ATS in their last 12 after a straight-up win. This 'price' is way out of whack...take the WIZARDS! |
11-11-18 | Celtics +2 v. Blazers | 94-100 | Loss | -103 | 10 h 6 m | Show
Boston at Portland 9:00 ET Celtics (+) over Trailblazers- The Celtics who tore up the NBA (especially ATS) last season are plotting along alternating wins and losses while going pounded against the 'number.' Boston has lost 3-of-4 as their defense has left much to be desired. The return of Gordon Hayward has been a major disappointment as he has yet to return to his previous level of play. Portland has had a home friendly schedule so far going 6-2 both SU and ATS but have struggled when hosting the Celtics. Boston is 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings in Portland and will get the money again tonight. Take BOSTON! |
11-11-18 | Cowboys +8.5 v. Eagles | 27-20 | Win | 100 | 26 h 33 m | Show
Dallas at Philadelphia 8:20 ET Cowboys (+) over Eagles- The Cowboys may be just one game behind the Eagles in the standings but they are years behind in talent. Dallas put on a horrid display Monday night as they fell 28-14 to Tennessee. Philadelphia has added Golden Tate to their receivers corps while the Cowboys still don't have a No. 1 receiver (or even a No. 2) but they still have Ezekiel Elliot running talent and Dak Prescott who threw for 243 yards against the Titans last week. This is a division contest and Dallas will be ready to play against the Super Bowl champs. Take the points with the COWBOYS! |
11-11-18 | Pacers +3 v. Rockets | 103-115 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 10 m | Show
Indiana at Houston 7:00 ET Pacers (+) over Rockets- So far the the Rockets are doing exactly what 'we' at The 'A' Play expected! The addition of Carmelo Anthony is a negative and brings any and every team down that he plays with and the hoax they call Chris Paul (he's no Willis Reed, as he pulls himself out of the biggest games) will keep this team where they are. Indiana is 3-7 ATS in the last 10 meetings but have won five in-a-row on the road and are 4-1 ATS in their last five road games. The beat-goes-on as the Rockets continue to struggle. Take the PACERS! |
11-11-18 | Seahawks v. Rams -9 | 31-36 | Loss | -114 | 21 h 8 m | Show
Seattle at L.A. Rams 4:25 ET Rams (-) over Seahawks- When these two first met five weeks ago 'we' squeaked out a win with the home club Seattle (+7.5) 31-33 as the Rams established offensive dominance totaling 468 yards. This time at home I expect Los Angeles to score even more and with an angry defense that looked vulnerable last week in New Orleans ready to win again. I am just not impressed with Seattle as I doubt they are playoff worthy. LA is 5-1 ATS hosting the last six meetings and the home team is 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings. The Rams have averaged 37.5 points against the 'Hawks defense the last two games and look to put up a large number here. Take L.A. RAMS! |
11-11-18 | Hornets +2.5 v. Pistons | Top | 113-103 | Win | 100 | 5 h 51 m | Show |
Charlotte at Detroit 3:30 ET Hornets (+) over Pistons- Detroit has two of the better big men in the games as Blake Griffin and Andre Drummond clean the glass night after night and now they have a pair of unknowns coming off the bench in Stanley Johnson and Langston Galloway making major contributions. The problem for the Pistons is their inconsistency as Griffin is off a six-point performance Friday and they struggle of all places at home where they are 1-5 ATS in their last six home games. Charlotte on the other hand is 6-1 ATS following a straight-up loss. Take the HORNETS! |
11-11-18 | BC +1 v. Hamilton | Top | 8-48 | Loss | -107 | 66 h 16 m | Show |
British Columbia at Hamilton 1:00 ET Lions (+) over Tiger-Cats- These two finished their regular season action on back-to-back weekends at the end of September each holding serve and winning at home (we had the Power Play winner). But, the season has different effects on one club to another as it is a long season (18 games/20 weeks) when these two last met at Hamilton the Tiger-Cats were -6.5 and finished the season 8-10 and now are just a one-point home favorite. British Columbia finished the season 9-9 closing with a pair of losses but that isn't that bad as Hamilton has dropped their last three and five of their last seven. The Tiger-Cats have little home field advantage as they are 2-6 ATS in their last eight at home. Take BRITISH COLUMBIA! |
11-11-18 | Saints v. Bengals +6 | Top | 51-14 | Loss | -105 | 19 h 32 m | Show |
New Orleans at Cincinnati 1:00 Bengals (+) over Saints- New Orleans has established themselves as the front runner in the NFL with their impressive win over the previously undefeated L.A. Rams. The Saints (7-1) have won seven in-a-row since an opening day loss to Tampa Bay and are averaging 35 points per game as Drew Brees leads the NFL in completion percentage (76.3) and passer rating (120.6). Cincinnati is off a bye week and will be without A.J. Green who leads the team in receptions and are 3-6-1 ATS with him in the lineup but will have workhorse Joe Mixon running the ball to keep them in the game. After such a huge win and the disappointment of the Dez Bryant injury I can see some letdown while the Bengals (5-3) who trail Pittsburgh (6-2-1) by a game for the division being very focused after a bye week. Take CINCINNATI! |

11-11-18 | Patriots v. Titans +7 | 10-34 | Win | 100 | 18 h 18 m | Show
New England at Tennessee 1:00 ET Titans (+) over Patriots- Starting the season 1-2 New England was on everybody's list as a team that was ready for a downfall, but six straight wins have them back in a familiar place at the top of their division. The Patriots have a seven-game win streak against the Titans while Tennessee is 1-10 ATS in their last 11 games after a Monday night encounter. With the healthy return of Marcus Mariota who played to a 119.9 passer rating last week against Dallas the Titans are a different club. With former Patriots coach Mike Vrabel now leading Tennessee the Titans will be well prepared. Take TITANS! |
11-11-18 | Falcons v. Browns +6.5 | 16-28 | Win | 100 | 18 h 48 m | Show
Atlanta at Cleveland 1:00 ET Browns (+) over Falcons- At one point the Browns were everybody's darlings starting the season 2-2-1 but they have reverted to playing at their previous level and have lost their last four. Last week they played their first game under interim coach Gregg Williams and without both Jackson and OC Haley. Meanwhile, Atlanta (4-4) has won three straight and is off a huge win at Washington last week and are back in the playoff hunt although they trail the Saints by 3-games. The Falcons aren't as explosive on offense as in the past as Matt Ryan has just six completions of 20 yards or more. The Browns can run the ball with former Georgia star Nick Chubb and Duke Johnson and with Mayfield's development they can play here. Take CLEVELAND! |
11-10-18 | Clemson v. Boston College +20 | 27-7 | Push | 0 | 27 h 53 m | Show
Clemson at Boston College 8:00 ET Eagles (+) over Tigers- There should be some head butting here as the No. 2 ranked and undefeated Clemson Tigers invade Chestnut Hill where Boston College No. 17 will be waiting for this national showcase. The Tigers are 9-0 and are off a 77-0 scrimmage win over Louisville and have covered four straight. The last time Clemson was here they were a 17.5 point favorite (look familiar) and crushed BC 56-10 as the visitor is 5-1 ATS in the last six but the underdog is 4-1 ATS as well. The status of Eagles running back could mover the 'price' but the Eagles fly here. Take BOSTON COLLEGE! |
11-10-18 | Texas v. Texas Tech +2 | Top | 41-34 | Loss | -110 | 27 h 47 m | Show |
Texas at Texas Tech 4:30 ET Red Raiders (+) over Longhorns- Texas as my 'Free' release broke my heart last Saturday as West Virginia scored the 1-point game winner in the final moment. Texas Tech (+14) was 'our' Top-3 Vegas Hotline winner 46-51 over Oklahoma last week and are ready to win here against a dispirited Longhorns squad who have dominated the series 50-17 but Tech has won two-of-three although they haven't defeated Texas at home since 2008 with Michael Crabtree. The Red Raiders most likely will be without freshman quarterback Alan Bowman and he will be replaced by sophomore Jett Duffy who has game experience. The Longhorns who already are porous on defense lost three more starters last week against the Mountaineers. The 'line' gives this one away. Red Raiders are 5-0 ATS after a SU loss. Take TEXAS TECH! |
11-10-18 | Temple +4.5 v. Houston | 59-49 | Win | 100 | 25 h 24 m | Show
Chip's 'Guaranteed' AAC Vegas Insider Winner (6-2 75%) Chip Chirimbes, Las Vegas Hilton Handicapping Champion was 5-2 72% last Saturday with his NCAA Best Bet releases including his Vegas Insider (6-2 75%) Missouri (+7) 42-28 OUTRIGHT over Florida as well as his GOY Michigan 42-7 over Penn State. This weeks 'Top-Rated' Vegas Insider winner is between Temple and Houston. Get it NOW only $39 or part of Chip's Top-3 or Fab-5 NCAA Best Bets w/GOY! |

11-10-18 | Bucks v. Clippers +3.5 | Top | 126-128 | Win | 100 | 6 h 36 m | Show |
Milwaukee at L.A. Clippers 3:30 ET Clippers (+) over Bucks- The Bucks have a new coach and attitude this season and they have established themselves as a contender as they dismantled Golden State on Thursday. So far this season Milwaukee is 5-1 ATS in their last six games playing on a days rest while the Clippers are 4-0 ATS in their last four home games and took both games from the Bucks last season. Los Angeles has no superstar like the Giannis (The Greek Freak) but the are playing team basketball which has them 4-1 at home overall. Take LOS ANGELES! |
11-10-18 | Washington State v. Colorado +6.5 | Top | 31-7 | Loss | -115 | 43 h 1 m | Show |
Washington State at Colorado 3:30 ET Buffaloes (+) over Cougars- Colorado started the season 5-0 and was fantasizing about competing with the Pac-12 elite (If there are any) as they were 2-0 in conference defeating UCLA and ASU and then 'Oh Lordy' they played next four games and haven't won since. Washington State meanwhile, is 8-1 and has ripped off five straight winners and are 4-0 ATS on the road. Coach Mike Leach said of last weeks narrow 19-13 win over Cal is 'good for teams to play close games.' I hope so Mike because 'we' have the Buffaloes and the points. Colorado will have receiver Laviska Shenault Jr. returns after missing three games all losses and the Buffaloes are 5-1 when he plays. In a tough one take COLORADO! |
11-10-18 | Northwestern v. Iowa -10 | Top | 14-10 | Loss | -105 | 23 h 59 m | Show |
Northwestern at Iowa 3:30 ET Hawkeyes (-) over Wildcats- Okay here we go in Big Ten West Division action where the leader Northwestern (5-1) is a double-digit underdog the (3-3) Hawkeyes in Iowa City. This is because the odds-makers see the Wildcats a step or two below what is expected and their numbers reenforce that belief as they point differential in virtually even. Iowa on the other hand is a plus +12 on a neutral field. This is enhanced when one realizes the Wildcats are 3-0 SU on the road but the visitor is just 2-6 ATS in this series and the favorite is 6-1 ATS. Take IOWA! |
11-10-18 | Ohio State v. Michigan State +3.5 | 26-6 | Loss | -105 | 63 h 1 m | Show
Ohio State at Michigan State 12:00 ET Spartans (+) over Buckeyes- Ohio State may be 8-1 SU but they have had a year of turmoil both on and off the field. From Urban Meyer's suspension to player issues, it has not been a smooth season as well as inconsistent play. Michigan State (6-3) has been disappointing and have difficulty scoring averaging just 23.4 while allowing just 19 points per contest while having the nation's No. 1 run stop unit surrendering 71 yards a game. Last season Ohio State crushed the Spartans 48-3 and you can be sure MSU and coach Mark Dantonio will that in mind. Although the Buckeyes have won six straight at Spartan Stadium the underdog is 6-1 in the last seven meetings. But, that's only 6-1 Chip's Game of the Year releases are 7-0 100%. Get Pac-12 Saturday's GOY NOW!...Take MICHIGAN STATE! Chip's 'Guaranteed' Pac-12 Game of Year (7-0 100%) |
11-09-18 | Fresno State v. Boise State +3 | Top | 17-24 | Win | 100 | 27 h 55 m | Show |
Fresno State at Boise State 10:30 ET Broncos (+) over Bulldogs- One thing that I would bet on here is that this will be a great football game another thing I would bet on is Chip's Pac-12 Game of Year (Sat 3:30). Both teams are well coached, have talent and don't wilt under pressure. Jeff Tedford have the Bulldogs back on the level they held since the 90's when Jim Sweeney and then Pat Hill led the way. Fresno State comes to Albertsons Stadium winners of seven straight while the Broncos have won their last four after a 3-2 start. As much as I like the Bulldogs (and I do) and although they are 7-0 on the MWC road they have lost nine straight in Boise. This is the first time since 1999 at Boise State has been a home conference underdog. Bronco senior quarterback Brett Rypien has won 34 starts and he adds one more tonight. Take BOISE STATE! |
11-09-18 | Pistons v. Hawks +5 | 124-109 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 19 m | Show
Detroit at Atlanta 7:30 ET Hawks (+) over Pistons- The Atlanta Hawks are so bad that before the season ends they will be in a dog-fight at the bottom of the heap fighting for a #1 draft pick. In the last draft they took Trae Young who is a weak percentage shooter and a poor defensive player. The Hawks were just beaten at home by the NY Knicks but play a middle-of-the-roader at home tonight. The Pistons who just snapped a five-game losing streak are 1-5 ATS in their last six games after a win and are just 3-7 ATS in the last 10 meetings against the Hawks. Look for Atlanta to rally here. Take the HAWKS! |
11-09-18 | Wizards v. Magic +3 | 108-117 | Win | 100 | 8 h 4 m | Show
Washington at Orlando 7:00 ET Magic (+) over Wizards- Washington is a team that doesn't rebound or play defense as they are the NBA's worst at allowing 120.5 points per game. With Scotty Brooks doing the coaching I don't see too much more defense in their future if this one for Brooks at all. With the off-season addition of Dwight Howard the chemistry for the Wizards is virtually non-existent as the guard want to run the flood and Howard stops all movement of the ball and is a horrible free throw shooter and poor passer and has to be removed late in games. Take ORLANDO! |
11-09-18 | Hornets +6 v. 76ers | Top | 132-133 | Win | 100 | 8 h 55 m | Show |
Charlotte at Philadelphia 7:00 ET Hornets (+) over 76ers- After 5-straight road losses the 76ers posted their first win (Megabucks winner) at Indiana 100-94 Wednesday but are still a force at 6-0 4-2 ATS at home. Charlotte who is led by All-Star Kemba Walker who scores at a 28.1 clip starts a 3-game road trip at Philly and then return to plat the Sixers when they return. The Hornets have lost seven straight in the series including a 105-103 loss at the Wells Fargo Center to start the season. Note that the 76ers are 1-5 ATS following a ATS win. Take CHARLOTTE! |
11-08-18 | Bucks +6 v. Warriors | 134-111 | Win | 100 | 11 h 27 m | Show
Milwaukee at Golden State 10:30 ET Bucks (+) over Warriors- Most of us are aware of the quick 7-0 start by the Bucks because of the outstanding play of Giannis Anteketokounmpo (ha) but they have dropped 2-of-3 since with both losses coming on the road where they are 1-8 ATS in their last none away games. Golden State is on a current eight-game win steak going 7-1 ATS including the last four but have struggled against the Bucks. Milwaukee is 8-1 ATS in the last nine meetings at Golden State and are 11-4-1 ATS in the last 16 meetings. Take MILWAUKEE! |
11-08-18 | Clippers +5 v. Blazers | Top | 105-116 | Loss | -105 | 11 h 12 m | Show |
L.A. Clippers at Portland 10:00 ET Clippers (+) over Trailblazers- The LA Clippers have had a complete overhaul and the 'newbies' are playing well under coach Doc Rivers doing for the most part predominately on the defensive end. The Clippers hold opponents to 43.2% shooting from the floor with only 32.7% from 3-point range. This is the fifth of a six-game home stand with Portland already 3-1 including a win our 'Highest-Rated' Megabucks winner over the Bucks. LA will be missing Avery Bradley and Luc Moute but play as a team and will overcome the missing parts. Take the CLIPPERS! |
11-08-18 | Panthers v. Steelers -3.5 | Top | 21-52 | Win | 100 | 28 h 31 m | Show |
Carolina at Pittsburgh 8:20 ET Steelers (-) over Panthers- Three weeks ago the Panthers looked dead in the water as they trailed the Super Champions 17-0 in Philadelphia in the fourth quarter and some how managed to score three TD's for a 21-17 Vegas Hotline win. (Haven't had many of those in NFL lately) Well, since they have dominated Baltimore and Tampa Bay wining the last two at home and now take to the road where they are 1-2 SU and ATS. Although Ben Roethlisberger bitches about playing on Thursday's the Steelers are 3-0-1 ATS. Add that Pittsburgh is 5-0 SU last five and 6-0 ATS in the last six meetings. Carolina is tough against the run ranking 8th but it is the Steelers explosive passing attack that they will have to be concerned with. You should be concerned about Chip's Pac-12 Game of Year (7-0 100%) Saturday winner! Take the STEELERS! |
11-08-18 | Rockets v. Thunder +4 | 80-98 | Win | 100 | 9 h 5 m | Show
Houston at Oklahoma City 8:00 ET Thunder (+) over Rockets- There must be something in the water in Houston as the slow start for the Rockets (0-4) much like the NFL Texans (0-3) and now both are sporting winning streaks. Oklahoma City started even worst (0-4) but have now won six straight going 5-0 ATS in the last five. But, the storyline here is the return of Carmelo Anthony to Oklahoma City where refused to come off the bench a roll he has now with the Rockets. Houston has dominated in OKC going 8-1 ATS in the last nine trips there. With both teams on winning streaks I'll take the club with at home with six straight wins. Take THUNDER! |
11-07-18 | 76ers +3 v. Pacers | 100-94 | Win | 100 | 8 h 20 m | Show
Philadelphia at Indiana 8:00ET 76ers (+) over Pacers- Talk about home floor advantage the 76ers are 6-0 when hosting opponents in Philadelphia but a dreadful 0-5 on the road (0-8 ATS last eight on road) and they hasn't even been competitive losing by 15 or more in four of those losses. To pile on here the Pacers have won eight straight meetings in Indiana. But, Philadelphia has one thing that the Pacers don't...Joel Embiid. He is averaging 28.4 points for a team that commits too many turnovers. Look for the 76ers to make a concerted effort and post a win tonight. Take PHILADELPHIA! |
11-07-18 | Toledo +3.5 v. Northern Illinois | Top | 15-38 | Loss | -107 | 10 h 11 m | Show |
Toledo at Northern Illinois 8:00 ET Rockets (+) over Huskies- After a slow start 1-3 with losses to Iowa, Utah and at Florida State things looked dim before conference play started. Starting with a win over E. Michigan they have reeled off five straight going 4-1 ATS. Toledo has had some prolific scoring games netting 66, 63, 52 , 51 1n3 45 in their five wins. But, the Rockets are going to have to man up to the level of competition here. The price seems a bit low to me but with the road team going 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings and with the Huskies 1-7 ATS at home against winning teams. Blast off with the ROCKETS and Chip's Pac-12 GOY (7-0 100% ) winner Saturday! Take TOLEDO! |
11-07-18 | Spurs v. Heat -2 | Top | 88-95 | Win | 100 | 8 h 3 m | Show |
San Antonio at Miami 7:30 ET Heat over Spurs- The Heat had dropped three straight before winning at Detroit Monday 115-110 in overtime and they did it without Hassan Whiteside who averages 14.6 rebounds and 2.75 blocks per contest. Whiteside is questionable tonight and that lowers 'our' rating of this battle just a bit. I like teams in situations when they are ready to win regardless of who's in the starting lineup and I like Miami hear. Defense is such a key ingredient to the Heat winning as they held the Pistons to 41% shooting from the field. Take MIAMI! |
11-07-18 | Thunder v. Cavs +6.5 | 95-86 | Loss | -105 | 7 h 13 m | Show
Oklahoma City at Cleveland 7:00 ET Cavaliers (+) over Thunder- Last season with LeBron James running the show the Cavaliers had one of the worst point-spread record in all of sports. This time around without James the oddsmakers have made Cleveland heavy underdogs every time out and they are playing to the 'number' going 5-5 ATS on the season. Oklahoma City is still a one-man team and that man will be missing from action tonight as Russell Westbrook is down with an ankle injury and the Thunder have won six straight meetings against Cleveland with him in 'action.' Tonight without Westbrook the Thunder are just a clap. Take CAVALIERS! |
11-06-18 | Bucks v. Blazers +1.5 | Top | 103-118 | Win | 100 | 12 h 42 m | Show |
Milwaukee at Portland 10:00 ET Trailblazers over Bucks- Just how good are this year's Milwaukee Bucks? Matching their best start in franchise history dating back to their Kareem Abdul-Jabbar days in 1971-72 the Bucks are led by ever-emerging Super-star Giannis Antetokounmpo who has been totally dominate in the early going. Milwaukee has had the benefit of having played six of their nine games at home where they are 6-0 SU and 5-1 ATS but, the road has been a little different. This term they are 2-1 SU and 1-2 ATS and 1-7 ATS in their last eight road games although they are 6-1 ATS in their last seven meetings in Portland and six of the last seven meetings overall. So these past trends are all one-sided but with one huge difference between then and now...the Bucks are now the favorite. 'Turn-about is fair play'...take PORTLAND! |
11-05-18 | Raptors v. Jazz +2 | 124-111 | Loss | -103 | 10 h 4 m | Show
Toronto at Utah 9:00 ET Jazz (+) over Raptors- With or without Kawhi Leonard the Raptors appear (9-1) to be the best team in the East and are off another win where he was rested. Utah has dropped their last three and are 0-3 at home and may very well be without leading scorer Donovan Mitchell and will be replaced by the rookie from Duke Grayson Allen. Although the Raptors are 9-1 ATS in the last 10 meetings including 5-0 ATS in the last five visits to Utah the Jazz are in a spot to perform well. Take UTAH! |
11-05-18 | Titans v. Cowboys -4.5 | Top | 28-14 | Loss | -114 | 10 h 25 m | Show |
Tennessee at Dallas 8:15 ET Cowboys (-) over Titans- Tennessee and Dallas have identical 3-4 records with the Titans having lost their last three and are off the loss in London two weeks ago. Dallas like so many mediocre clubs plays well at home going 3-0 while being winless (0-4) on the road. The Cowboys like the Titans are off a bye week although they didn't have to travel overseas. Neither quarterback is any thing to write home about and both squads have fine defenses but thenTitans offense is one of the worst in the NFL while the Cowboys at least have Ezekiel Elliot. Take DALLAS! |
11-05-18 | Cavs +5 v. Magic | Top | 100-102 | Win | 100 | 8 h 12 m | Show |
Cleveland at Orlando 7:00 ET Cavaliers (+) over Magic- This could be ugly with the 1-8 Cavaliers and the 3-6 Magic going at each other. Cleveland who has won once (at home of course) and is 0-4 straight-up on the road but 3-1 ATS with their loss ATS coming last time out at Charlotte. Orlando is 0-4 ATS in their last four home games and the Cavaliers are 8-3 in their last 11 meetings in Orlando (with James) and will suck it up once again. The Magic are off an outright road win at San Antonio and will return to the center here. Take CLEVELAND! |
11-04-18 | Raptors v. Lakers +3 | 121-107 | Loss | -107 | 10 h 27 m | Show
Toronto at LA Lakers 9:30 ET Lakers (+) over Raptors- They have got to be kidding...the Raptors who led the East in wins last season and are 8-1 already are such a small favorite against the youthful and mistake prone Lakers. Of course Los Angeles has LeBron James but he is easily countered with Kawhi Leonard. The Raptors have won seven straight in the series between these two but are now on the road where they are just 1-2 ATS allowing more points then they have scored. The 'number' appears way low to me and I believe 'they' (oddsmakers) are looking for Toronto action. They probably will get it but not form me...Take LOS ANGELES! |
11-04-18 | Grizzlies v. Suns +4 | 100-102 | Win | 100 | 9 h 2 m | Show
Memphis at Phoenix 8:00 ET Suns (+) over Grizzlies- This is already the second meeting between these two as Memphis beat the Suns 117-96 last week at home and now try and turn the trick again this time in Phoenix. The Suns opened the season with an impressive win 121-100 over Dallas but have dropped seven straight since. No. 1 draft pick Deandre Ayton has five double-doubles already and is coming off Friday's 17 rebounds and 18 points in the loss to Toronto. Suns in a spot to pick up their second win of the year. Take PHOENIX! |
11-04-18 | 76ers v. Nets +4.5 | Top | 97-122 | Win | 100 | 7 h 11 m | Show |
Philadelphia at Brooklyn 6:00 ET nets (+) over 76ers- When Joel Embiid wants to play the 76ers are virtually unbeatable and fortunately he prefers to play his best in front of the home crowd. Philadelphia is now 6-0 at home after pounding Detroit on Saturday as Embiid had 19 points and 17 rebounds, but playing on the road is a different story. The 76ers are 0-4 when playing away from home and are 0-7 ATS in their last eight on the road. Brooklyn is 2-2 at home and off a loss to Houston on Friday where they blow a 17-point lead. This time their efforts cover four full quarters. Take the NETS! |
11-04-18 | Rams v. Saints +2.5 | 35-45 | Win | 100 | 23 h 59 m | Show
L.A. Rams at New Orleans 4:25 ET Saints over Rams- What a great match-up as the undefeated and NFC Super Bowl Favorite LA Rams come to play the leagues 'hottest' team (how can that be right) the Saints in New Orleans. My first impression had me thinking that the Saints had become so popular that they might actually be in a go 'against' spot. But, then I realize we should be talking about the 8-0 Rams who come in off a shaky win over Green Bay. Last week I posted the Rams as my NFC Game of the Month and as Todd Gurley laid down on the two my 'wet' dream was over. Checking history we find that the home team is 6-0 ATS in the last six meetings. Take NEW ORLEANS! |
11-04-18 | Texans v. Broncos +1.5 | 19-17 | Loss | -103 | 23 h 10 m | Show
Houston at Denver 4:05 ET Broncos (-) over Texans- After starting the season 0-3 most opinions had written the Texans off (and I may as well have been one of (those) but they have professionally rebounded by winning five straight including 'our' huge winner last Thursday defeating Miami 42-23. Denver on the hand has lost six of their last six straight-up but they are 3-0 ATS in their last three. Texas who is 3-1 at home on artificial surface are 1-7 ATS in their last eight games on grass. Broncos ready for a win...take DENVER! |
11-04-18 | Lions +6 v. Vikings | Top | 9-24 | Loss | -110 | 21 h 31 m | Show |
Detroit at Minnesota 1:00 ET Lions (+) over Vikings- The in-n-out Lions at 3-4 and still in the thick of the things in the NFC North trailing the Bears (4-3) by just one-game. Detroit is coming off a home loss to Seattle (28-14) while the Vikings lost at home to New Orleans 30-22 after having won three in-a-row. If Minnesota is going to have their way they will do it on the round were the Lions defense is the weakest. But, Matthew Stafford is capable of earning at least a part of that contact and deliver the goods here. Road team is 4-1 ATS in last five...take DETROIT! |
11-04-18 | Steelers v. Ravens -2 | Top | 23-16 | Loss | -103 | 20 h 20 m | Show |
Pittsburgh at Baltimore 1:00 ET Ravens (-) over Steelers- I don't know what going to happen here but this contest caught my eye right of the bat. Not just believe its the Steelers and Ravens but because of the spot these two enter the battle. Pittsburgh has won three straight and at 4-2 lead the AFC North while Baltimore has dropped their last two and have fallen to 4-4. Just with records alone the Ravens are in desperate straits to win this game. Falling 3-game back in the loss column after your season mid-point spells problems for playoff hopes. Note, that Pittsburgh is 1-6-1 ATS in the last eight meetings. Take BALTIMORE! |
11-04-18 | Chiefs v. Browns +9 | 37-21 | Loss | -105 | 19 h 29 m | Show
Kansas City at Cleveland 1:00 ET Browns (+) over Chiefs- This is very much the function that 'Less is more...' Cleveland is better off without Hue Jackson and they can have a more positive view of the future. With OC Haley also departed the stress and strife are gone and the attitude and thoughts of winning will come first. Kansas City of course has the most dynamic offense in football but there are shortcomings on the other side of the ball. The Chiefs believe it or not have allowed more yards then they are gaining. Look for a psyched Browns defense to continue creating turnovers and get the cash here. Take CLEVELAND! |
11-03-18 | Lakers +3 v. Blazers | 114-110 | Win | 100 | 11 h 19 m | Show
L.A. Lakers at Portland 10:00 ET Lakers (+) over Trailblazers- Yes, this is one game I won't mind watching as the heat has already been applied to the Lakers. Hey, even Tyronn Lue had more leeway when he was 'coaching' LeBron. Now, we see these two meet where Portland has an unbelievable 16-game winning streak in the series. The Blazers can shoot the ball anytime from anywhere and so do the Lakers with one major difference. Portland makes their shots while the young struggling Lakers are an extremely poor outside shooting team. Despite all this the 'number' here is very weak, look for the Lakers to be ready tonight. Take LOS ANGELES! |
11-03-18 | Stanford v. Washington -10 | 23-27 | Loss | -115 | 27 h 28 m | Show
Stanford at Washington 9:00 ET Huskies (-) over Cardinal- I like this for two main reasons...Stanford and Washington. 'We' have had great success already this season on and against these two clubs going 6-2 ATS. Last week we posted California with 'our' Top-3 (3-0) and they defeated the Huskies OUTRIGHT as quarterback Jake Browning was benched. Stanford is coming off a 41-38 loss to Washington State blowing a double-digit lead. Bryce Love is still listed day-to-day so even if he does play how effective will he actually be...No concerns for Washington's Myles Gaskin who returns after missing two games. Huskies defense leads the nation allowing just five plays of more then 30 yards. The Cardinal isn't explosive enough to over come the Huskies defense. Take WASHINGTON! |
11-03-18 | Oklahoma v. Texas Tech +13.5 | 51-46 | Win | 100 | 26 h 19 m | Show
Oklahoma at Texas Tech 8:00 ET Red Raiders (+) over Sooners- Oklahoma has without a doubt (in my mind) the most exciting and explosive player in college football. Take all the others and they don't measure up to Kyler Murray who led the Sooners to a 702-245 yardage advantage over Kansas State last week as they have scored 45 points or more in four straight contests. Texas Tech may have been caught in a look ahead situation last week as they fell at Iowa State 40-31 last week but still are No. 8 in total offense (528 yards per) and 10th in scoring 42.3 points. The home team is 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings and the Red Raiders are 4-1 ATS at home in last four meetings. Take TEXAS TECH! |
11-03-18 | UCLA +11 v. Oregon | 21-42 | Loss | -110 | 26 h 31 m | Show
UCLA at Oregon 7:30 ET Bruins (+) over Ducks- Both these clubs are coming off blow-out losses as UCLA was crushed at home 41-10 by Utah and Oregon was wasted 44-15 at Arizona. The Ducks fall is more dramatic as they were expected to contend for the Pac-12 title while the young Bruins squad was considered an also-ran. Their issues started with an inconsistent running game and with the injury to quarterback Justin Herbert who missed last year's 31-10 loss at UCLA and in concussion protocol this week. Either way already with three losses the Ducks realize a New Year's Day Bowl game is out and they carry that disappointment in to this contest. Take U.C.L.A. |

11-03-18 | Celtics v. Pacers +3 | Top | 101-102 | Win | 100 | 8 h 24 m | Show |
Boston at Indiana 7:05 ET Pacers (+) over Celtics- After a 2-2 start Boston has reeled off four straight wins including a franchise setting 3-point performance (24 made) to take down previously undefeated Milwaukee. Indiana who has won their last two contests both on the road return home off a sluggish outing at Chicago. Somehow, even with the return of Gordon Hayward the Celtics are not as highly touted by the 'books' as they were last season as they are 1-6 ATS in their last seven road games against a team with a winning record and the Pacers are 17-5 ATS in their last 22 following an ATS loss. Take INDIANA! |
11-03-18 | Missouri +6.5 v. Florida | Top | 38-17 | Win | 100 | 23 h 38 m | Show |
Missouri at Florida 4:00 ET Tigers (+) over Gators- Florida is coming off a major letdown as their SEC chances are done. Meanwhile, Missouri is still searching for their first SEC win (0-4) and nothing less then a total offensive collapse in the 2nd half last week (zero 1st downs-8 straight 3-n-out)) against Kentucky kept them out of the win column. Tigers quarterback Drew Luck will play at the next level and I expect him to rally his offense this week with a great Gator challenge. Florida QB situation is one of inconsistency and turnovers. Look for the Tigers to notch their first SEC win...take MISSOURI! |
11-03-18 | Penn State v. Michigan -10.5 | Top | 7-42 | Win | 100 | 45 h 22 m | Show |
Penn State at Michigan 3:45 ET Wolverines (-) over Nittany Lions- I sort of feel a little out of my head giving so many points to the Nittany Lions but that's why I'm attracted to Michigan. The points are generous for a reason and maybe the Wolverine 'Revenge Tour' has something to do with it as they are avenging losses from last season, first to Wisconsin, then Michigan State and now for Penn State who crushed Michigan 42-13 last season. Jim Harbaugh said that they will pay for 'rubbing' it in. Take MICHIGAN! |
11-03-18 | West Virginia v. Texas -2 | 42-41 | Loss | -105 | 22 h 42 m | Show
Oklahoma at Texas Tech 8:00 ET Red Raiders (+) over Sooners- Oklahoma has without a doubt (in my mind) the most exciting and explosive player in college football. |
11-03-18 | Nebraska +19 v. Ohio State | 31-36 | Win | 100 | 42 h 3 m | Show
Nebraska at Ohio State 12:00 ET Cornhuskers (+) over Buckeyes- First impression upon gazing at this matchup is that the Buckeyes coming off their first loss of the season will bounce-back with a big effort after getting routed 49-20 by Purdue where many say they gave up. Having two weeks to dwell on such a humiliating loss may not be such a good thing. Now, the Cornhuskers who started 0-6 (worse in school history) have won their last two against Minnesota and powerhouse Bethune-Cookman. Nebraska coach Scott Frost is excited about the play of his young squad led by a true freshman quarterback and said their confidence is getting stronger. They should be able to keep this one close with offense. Take CORNHUSKERS! (PS- Get Chip's Big-Ten GOY (6-0) winner Penn St/Mich) |
11-02-18 | Thunder v. Wizards -2.5 | Top | 134-111 | Loss | -104 | 8 h 9 m | Show |
Oklahoma City at Washington 7:30 ET Wizards over Thunder- A pair of also-rans go at it in the nations capital as the Wizards who are winless at home (0-2) host Oklahoma City. The Thunder started 0-4 but have ripped off four three straight wins including a 19-point comeback against Charlotte last time out. Washington made an off-season acquisition of eight-time all-start Dwight Howard and for the most part I believe that acquiring Howard spells doom for any team he is associated with. As long as Howard rebounds and stays away from the free thrown line they can win here. Take WASHINGTON! |
11-02-18 | Pittsburgh v. Virginia -7 | 23-13 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 43 m | Show
Pittsburgh at Virginia 7:30 ET Cavaliers over Panthers- After one winning season in the last 10 years #22 Virginia will be bowling this time around as they are ranked in the Top-25 for the first time since 2011. What surprises me here is that the Cavaliers are such a heavy favorite in a vital ACC matchup as both of these two clubs control their own destiny for Coastal Division title. Pittsburgh has won 31-14 in their last meeting and has won three straight in the series but that streak ends here. Take VIRGINIA! |
11-01-18 | Kings v. Hawks +2 | Top | 146-115 | Loss | -102 | 7 h 11 m | Show |
Sacramento at Atlanta 7:30 ET Hawks (+) over Kings- Sacramento who started 1-3 with some explosive youngsters on their squad has reeled off for straight wins including the last two on the road. That is a good sign for the Kings but won't help overcome them tonight against Atlanta who has lost their last two on the road and returns home to host the Hawks who has lost 11 straight in Atlanta. Like the Kings to Hawks are among the youngest teams in the league and will play their best at home. Take ATLANTA! |
11-01-18 | Clippers +5.5 v. 76ers | 113-122 | Loss | -105 | 7 h 33 m | Show
L.A. Clippers at Philadelphia 7:00 ET Clippers (+) over 76ers- Let me start by saying that I thought that the 76ers would be the break-out team this season the NBA but they have made a number of curious personnel decisions that has put a damper on their development. First, they has five picked in the NBA draft and took the 'perfect' piece needed to balance their talented squad and then promptly traded him. Then they trade their other picks away and took a 19-year that is will not play as he is out with a serious injury. The Clippers are looking to rebound from their second half collapse at Oklahoma City and toughen up their defense. Take the CLIPPERS! |
11-01-18 | Nuggets v. Cavs +5.5 | 110-91 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 27 m | Show
Denver at Cleveland 7:00 ET Cavaliers (+) over Nuggets- What a mess in Cleveland and that could include the Browns but it is the Cavaliers that we are talking about here. Okay, after opening the season with six straight losses they fire Tyronn Lue and hire Larry Drew as an interim coach the issues continue as Drew wants to be paid the going rated for head coaches after post an impressive 135-112 win over Atlanta. Denver who has one of the strongest home court advantages is 6-1 including 2-1 on the road winning in overtime last night in Chicago and are 1-2 ATS on the road. Cleveland has defeated Atlanta seven of the last 10 meetings and with their new confidence will get in done here. Take CLEVELAND! |
10-31-18 | Jazz v. Wolves +3 | Top | 125-128 | Win | 100 | 8 h 28 m | Show |
Utah at Minnesota 8:00 ET Timberwolves (+) over Jazz- Utah has won the first three games of this four-game road trip and finish at Minnesota who is at home for their third straight games. The Timberwolves won the first two meetings last season and then the Jazz won the other two to balance the series. Minnesota bounced-back from a 30-point home loss to Milwaukee and took a 124-120 win over the Lakers last time out as Towns and Butler finally played well at the same time. Take TIMBERWOLVES! |
10-30-18 | 76ers +6.5 v. Raptors | 112-129 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 43 m | Show
Philadelphia at Toronto 7:30 ET 76ers (+) over Raptors- Toronto's dreams of going 82-0 were snapped last time out in their 124-109 loss to undefeated Milwaukee (7-0) as they rested Kawhi Leonard. Leonard is expected to play tonight be the Raptors 'karma' has been altered. Philadelphia is 4-0 at home but have struggled on the road (0-3) and are seeking their first road 'cover' of the season. Add that the 76ers have dropped 11 straight games in Toronto but the points will be the equalizer here. Take PHILADELPHIA! |
10-30-18 | Heat +4 v. Hornets | Top | 113-125 | Loss | -103 | 7 h 27 m | Show |
Miami at Charlotte 7:00 ET Heat (+) over Hornets- Miami fell to the Hornets 113-112 in their home opener ten days ago in a game they believe that they got 'hosed' by the officials in the final second of play. The Heat are off a home loss to Sacramento last night despite Hassan Whiteside's 24 rebounds and five blocked shots because of a poor shooting night from the field and free throw line. Miami is 5-1-1 ATS in the last seven meetings and are 4-1 ATS in Charlotte. Take the HEAT! |
10-30-18 | Hawks v. Cavs -4.5 | Top | 114-136 | Win | 100 | 7 h 19 m | Show |
Atlanta at Cleveland 7:05 ET Cavaliers (+) over Hawks- Cleveland is the only winless (0-6) team in the NBA and have a 'new' coach as Tyronne Lue could not survive the James departure. The Cavaliers who opened their home season with a 133-111 loss to the Hawks nine days ago as an 8-point favorite are now favored again and it seems a bit odd for a team that hasn't won a game yet and have already been pounded by Atlanta at home. Maybe new coach Larry Drew can turn them around. Take CLEVELAND! |
10-28-18 | Jazz v. Mavs +5 | Top | 113-104 | Loss | -103 | 9 h 0 m | Show |
Utah at Dallas 7:00 ET Mavericks (+) over Jazz- In an unusual twist the Jazz who hold one of the stronger home court advantages is 0-2 at home and 3-0 on the road. Utah has their way in New Orleans last night crushing the previously undefeated Pelicans 132-111. Dallas has a mirror image record as they are 0-3 on the road and 2-0 at home. The Mavericks will have the return of Dennis Smith who missed a start because of and ankle sprain and leading scorer Harrison Barnes is back after a hamstring pull. After last night's blow-out win Utah should fall back a bit tonight. Take DALLAS! |
10-28-18 | Packers v. Rams -8 | Top | 27-29 | Loss | -103 | 22 h 52 m | Show |
Green Bay at L.A. Rams 4:25 ET Rams (-) over Packers- This game has attracted plenty attention not only because it involves the best team in the league or the best quarterback on the field but because the 'line' is so high. I'm wondering if they are trying to tell us that the Rams are that good or Green Bay heading south. We should realize that both could be true and I do suspect that the Packers are on the down slide. Problems with Rogers are greater then 'they' are willing to admit as he appears at times to be hobbling. Green Bay have the best QB on the field but Los Angeles has the best running back with Todd Gurley leading the NFL with 686 yards on the ground and 14 touchdowns (Rogers only has 12 TD's). I think that the line is excessively high and that gives me thought that the oddsmakers are making it easy for 'us' to take the points. Well, not this time. Take the RAMS! |
10-28-18 | Colts v. Raiders +3.5 | 42-28 | Loss | -118 | 21 h 54 m | Show
Indianapolis at Oakland 4:05 ET Raiders (+) over Colts- The idea that Indianapolis is favored on the road against anyone makes my eyebrows rise. The Colts are 1-3 on the road and are off a huge home win over Buffalo with Andrew Luck throwing for four TD's with no interceptions. The changes for the Raiders continue to happen with six NFL transactions this week. At 1-5 people are starting to ask just how long a leash doe Jon Gruden have...ha its a 10-year $100,000,000 leash. Their have been player grumblings trying to figure out whats 'going on?' But, they have the understanding that it could be them next if they don't do the job. I see Oakland as a motivated hungry club that is playing their third game at home. They are a minus -11 in points scored and allowed per game and yet this game is under field-goal. The Gruden factor here is that he is 7-1 straight-up and ATS at home with added rest and he is 14-6-1 ATS at home against an opponent off a win. Take OAKLAND! |
10-28-18 | Redskins v. Giants +1.5 | 20-13 | Loss | -105 | 18 h 6 m | Show
Washington at New York Giants 1:00 ET Giants (+) over Redskins- The first place Redskins (honest) come to East Rutherford a slight favorite against the 1-6 New York Giants. Big Blue is 0-3 both straight-up and ATS at home while going 2-8 SU and 1-7-2 ATS at home in division games. Washington I would imagine have the advantage as the Giants are off a Monday Night (Backdoor Cover) and have had two defensive starters ship out. We have all seen Eli get pounded week after week but he still gets up and is capable he given room. Dysfunctional comes together this week. Take the GIANTS! |
10-28-18 | Eagles v. Jaguars +3.5 | Top | 24-18 | Loss | -110 | 44 h 4 m | Show |
Philadelphia vs Jacksonville 9:30 ET Jaguars (+) over Eagles- Do any of you guys or gals recall what has happened the previous NFC East Super Bowl Champions the following season. The Giants alone didn't make the playoffs after each of their four Super Bowl wins and the Eagles 'hangover' runs as deep. Okay, enough of these guys falling flat, how about the Jaguars play of late it has been a disgrace. These two met for the NFC title last season and it doesn't look that either of them will make it back to that level. Big news about the Jags their QB and it will be Blake Bortles and the team will respond. Jacksonville has won three in-a-row at Wembley Stadium and this makes four. Take the JAGUARS! |
10-27-18 | Texas v. Oklahoma State +3.5 | Top | 35-38 | Win | 100 | 52 h 19 m | Show |
Texas at Oklahoma State 8:00 ET Cowboys (+) over Longhorns- Listen if the Cowboys weren't able to control Longhorns we would all be vegetarian streak including a win over Oklahoma 48-45. Oklahoma State has a high powered offense that averages nearly 40-points per contest and they have had two weeks as well to pine off their beating at Kansas State (maybe a look-ahead). The Longhorns needed the two weeks for QB Sam Ehlinger to return from a sprained passing shoulder. Texas has the series edge 24-8 but the Cowboys have won six of the past eight and tonight makes another WIN! Take OKLAHOMA STATE! |
10-27-18 | Hornets +5.5 v. 76ers | Top | 103-105 | Win | 100 | 6 h 17 m | Show |
Charlotte at Philadelphia 7:30 ET Hornets (+) over 76ers- After what I saw out of the 76ers last season I expected them to be force in the East and challenge Boston for the conference title. But, Philadelphia made a mess of their draft and are insisting on using personnel that is ready for prime time. Joel Embiid is a dominate figure when healthy and is questionable tonight after rolling' his ankle in practice yesterday. The Hornets dropped all four meetings last year by an average 14.5 points Without Embiid the Hornets Kemba Walker and Tony Parker should have their way. Take CHARLOTTE! |
10-27-18 | Pacers v. Cavs +6.5 | 119-107 | Loss | -105 | 6 h 6 m | Show
Indiana at Cleveland 7:30 ET Cavaliers (+) over Pacers- It took LeBron James and his new teammates four game before they posted a victory while his jilted ex-mates are yet to win after five contests. Although 0-5 straight-up Cleveland is 3-2 ATS but 0-2 SU and ATS at home. Indiana is off a 116-96 win at San Antonio which makes them 1-2 on the road. This is their third straight road game for the Pacers and it will be enough for this winless to break into the win column. Take the CAVALIERS |
10-27-18 | Washington v. California +12 | 10-12 | Win | 100 | 25 h 6 m | Show
Washington at California 6:30 ET Golden Bears (+) over Huskies- Despite their overtime loss to Oregon two weeks ago Washington (6-2, 4-1 Pac-12) is in the driver seat for the conference championship. Most people speak of the Huskies fine defense but believe it or not the Bears are allowing less yards per rush. Their all-time leading rusher Myles Gaskin is not expected to play Jake Browning has not been able to pick us the slack. Cal has decided on their quarterback and it's redshirt freshman Chase Garbers off his 234 yard performance last week. The Bears have lost three straight at home including a 37-7 beating at the hands of UCLA on Homecoming and look to atone for the home folks. Take CALIFORNIA! |
10-27-18 | Kentucky v. Missouri -7 | 15-14 | Loss | -110 | 22 h 14 m | Show
Kentucky at Missouri 4:00 ET Tigers (-) over Wildcats- Now, let me get this straight Kentucky is Ranked No. 14 are 6-1 SU, 4-1 SEC and they have the No. 2 scoring defense allowing just 12.9 points per contest. Yet, the Wildcats opened a 7-point underdog against a 4-3 0-3 SEC Missouri club that is 2-3 ATS in the last five. Kentucky who started 5-0 has shown kinks in their armor their last two outings rushing for just 70 yards against Texas A&M and passing for only 18 yards last weeks against Vanderbilt. This 'price' is ridiculous...lay it. Take MISSOURI! |
10-27-18 | Iowa v. Penn State -5 | 24-30 | Win | 100 | 22 h 36 m | Show
Iowa at Penn State 3:30 ET Nittany Lions (-) over Hawkeyes- Iowa comes into Beaver Stadium winners of three straight including a shutout (23-0) win over 'powerhouse' Maryland and a 42-16 win over Indiana. The Hawkeyes are 6-1 and have the better record and yet are a virtual touchdown underdog. The Lions have under-achieved to date even with Trace McSorley setting all kinds of school offensive records. My gut is that it is going to be Penn State's day, the home team is 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings. Take PENN STATE! |
10-27-18 | Clemson v. Florida State +17 | 59-10 | Loss | -105 | 46 h 41 m | Show
Clemson at Florida State 12:00 ET Seminoles (+) over Tigers- What more can I say...Clemson comes through as 'our' ACC GOY and CRUSHES NC State 41-7 raising 'my' GOY record to 5-0 100% (Don't miss the next one). Now, with the pressure off they invade a slow starting but improving Florida State club that carries a lot of pride entering this fray. You see the Seminoles were humbled on Nation al TV early-on (LSU $$$-Game winner) and then agains this time the catch the Tigers without their claws. Take FLORIDA STATE! |
